Not enough towels. However, check-in/Out was a breeze. Plenty of parking and well lit. The beds could use an upgrade they were a bit bumpy.

Staff was helpful, but, was alone and line was long. He had no helpers. He was doing the best he could for checking guests in and guests coming by and had to ask to redo their keys. The grounds and landscaping of of the Motel were in terrible shape and not maintained at all. The rooms were cheap looking, Twin bed was a folding bed and think mattress, bathroom outdated, small and not homy. Not sure if I will stay there again...

Website said included breakfast which it didn’t the grounds were littered with garbage a lot of leaves in the pool. Rooms need some TLC. Hole in the floor. Very basic rooms no coffee pot or hair dryer the towels had to washed 200 times. Very rough and thinning

First of all, it is a Motel 6 even though they’re advertising the property as a Super 8. It’s filthy, it smells of smoke. Everybody is outside their room, smoking cigarettes. The rooms smell of smoke It’s in horrible condition. I made it to my room, turned around and gave the key back to the front desk and stayed elsewhere. The girl behind the desk was nice enough to understand. There’s nothing worse than seeing a picture of a decent looking low-cost motel and then getting there and seeing the complete opposite.

There were bugs everywhere live and some dead. The non smoking room had a bad smoking smell

When we arrived, the first thing they told us was there would be no breakfast. Apparently Super 8 and Motel 6 have merged and are under Wyndham (whoever they are--the front desk person told me they are not a corporation, but couldn't explain what Wyndham actually is). Our room keys stopped working at least 5 times in our 2-night stay--their BS reason was that we had stored them next to something with a magnetic field. I know we didn't do that. Super 8 and Motel 6 (and Wyndham for that matter) are now off my list of hotels I would consider using. Don't stay at this one!

Very misleading property. It was pretty much till six not till eight. The rooms were dirty disgusting, bedsheets had stains hair. It was literally not washed bedsheets and pillows. We got two bedroom room for two person and tables were only for one person not enough when I went to management to request a few more extra towels and clean bedsheets. She said that they don’t have any more. Very disgusting room rooms.

i have stayed here before 2 times recently which were pretty good and decent but this last time it was not a good experience. The room was not cleaned well as i seen left over soap and toothpaste on the sink counter, hairs were left in between the sheets and seemed as though food or gunk was splattered on the ac unit right next to our bed. the tv had no signal or connections. I had a decent visit but unfortunately was a bit disappointed with the cleaning

No breakfast. Room was ok other than 1 towel per room with 2 beds. We had 2 rooms and both were the same. Its a motel 6 when you arrive so its confusing.

This was supposed to be a Super 8 but was branded Motel 6? It was a very basic room with no amenities. It was very clean though.

Dirty room, unfriendly staff.

The signage was poor...a painted over old motel sign that wasn't Motel 6 or Super 8. One building is Motel 6, the back building is Super 8. I wasn't sure I was at the right place. The booking said it includes breakfast but that was not the case. They said they do not provide that but were aware the website says they do. They do not provide shampoo or conditioner. There were auto-texts for check-in & if there are questions to respond via the chat but my two questions went unanswered. The next auto-chat was about check-out. The room itself was fine.

Room stink when we came. I paid for breakfast Inclusion, there is none.

The website is a scam. Breakfast was advertised as included, but when we arrived, we were told that they had never served breakfast. Despite our protests, nothing changed—we received no refund or discount to cover the cost of having breakfast at nearby establishments.

Awesome place

The Internet didn’t work two out of three nights staying there. I asked for a refund and they said I need to go through Expedia to initiate that process. They know that the Wi-Fi is an issue there and continue to rent out the rooms regardless. It’s really too bad, because the rooms are actually pretty decent for a motel that old.

This has been the worst experience that I have had with Expedia. The bathroom door was missing the shower head leaked the whole time. When I told the front desk they did not care and had no other room available to change to. They also did not have breakfast said that they never did even though it was offered on the website

Usually there are two shower towels even though there's only one guest but there was only one towel and I was kind of disappointed because I only could shower at night or in the morning when there should be 2 towels if I want to shower at night and if I want to shower in the morning even if there is just one guest

Not really. Only thing but not a big deal I just waited 30mins. I wanted a downstairs as I am disabled with mobility difficulties & it's just much easier on me to be downstairs. I did wish that when reserving you could put in for special considerations

I got room # 439, there is no breakfast available in the morning they says they advertise free breakfast by mistake. In the room no hot water I called customer service they says maintenance guy start work at 10 am, also I asked for the change room and they said won’t be available till 12:30.They couldn’t fix hot water. At the front desk telling me that this water issue is more than a year but noone fix it

The upkeep of this hotel is poor- springs popping out in the bed, toilet running, TV wouldn't work. There is spray paint on the entrance sign- motel 6 is posted everywhere. To us it seems like a party hotel which some would appreciate. I would recommend paying the extra 60-70$ and staying downtown SJ somewhere.

Absolutely hideous! Dirty property, trash scattered everywhere, marijuana smokers in almost every room (they’re supposedly a smoke free property), no breakfast as published on their sites, severely mentally ill people around, obnoxiously loud guests, screaming people after 2am, office PM personnel calling animal control on guests service and ESA dogs without calling the owners first (zero customer service in this regard), and very expensive for such a horrible place!

Room was in ok condition. They did some upgrades to the room. They do not provide shampoo or conditioner for your hair. They did not have a coffee pot but yet they have a microwave and a refrigerator. The rooms are small and they are not insulated well you can hear the Nextdoor neighbors and their snoring. This is a glorified Motel 6. Super 8 it is not.

The room I stayed was very quiet. Most of the hotel staff I encountered were very helpful. But one staff member refused to give me a blanket because they said they are not allowed to go out to fetch it in the evening when they are the only one in the office. Breakfast was not served even though Expedia says free breakfast when I made the booking. Mattresses are of very poor quality. I had to change room after the first night due to a broken mattress. But the mattress in the second room was only marginally better than the first one. There was a big puddle of water at the base of the stairs throughout the 4 days I stayed at the hotel. It was a hazard but nobody did anything about it. I wish the manager does a walk-around every shift.

First off, the place is so dirty. Roaches, red liquid on toilet, stained sheets, cigarette burns in furniture?? Second, I chose this over the motel 6 due to the advertised breakfast which I was informed never was a thing when I got to the property. The super 8 is actually part of the motel 6 with none of the amenities that typically come with a super 8. All of the items in the room said park Inn. I actually left the property early due to the misrepresentation on the listing and the overall cleanliness. Absolutely atrocious property. Avoid at all costs.

Staff member had me waiting for hours to get a change of room and then gives me a mildew room and then sit and yells at me about offering me one last room. That’s all she has. That’s all I’m gonna get it was unbelievable. I can’t believe I was treated so horribly. It’s my first time using Expedia. Apparently there’s two hotels hotel six and a super eight that are on the same property and it looks like they’re in foreclosure. Maybe they’re not paying people or something, but it was toxic and vile and disgusting. I’m definitely sharing the experience. Total ripoff and I would never have left had I known that I was being lied to about the room change. It didn’t happen in the morning. It happened in the late afternoon and had me waiting around and waiting and waiting and waiting and then in the office waiting and waiting and waiting it was unbelievable only to get hollered at by the clerk like it was my fault I needed a room unbelievable

The site is shared with Motel 6. There are no signs for either company visible from the street. There is a big sign that is painted over. If you drive to the back of the property, you can finally see a sign that it is in fact Super 8. You have to go back up to the Motel 6 office in the front to check in. I will never stay here again when I visit San Jose.

This is the worst motel I have stayed in. I have been staying at sub $100 hotels for the last couple months and this one was by far the worst. Flat pillows, uncomfortable bed, no water pressure, a depressing tiny room complete with cigarette or pipe burn on the furniture. The worst was the overwhelming smell of whatever cheap cleaning solution they use. I woke up with a screaming headache. I’m not a picky guy, but this place is trash.

It’s not actually a Super 8, but the back of a Motel 6. The “complimentary breakfast item” is just a cup of watered down coffee.

First of all, this hotel was hard to find because it’s behind another hotel and once you find this place you can’t even check in and have to go back to the hotel in front because they have a combined check in area. The air conditioner in the lobby either wasn’t working or wasn’t working well because it was hotter in there than outside. I felt bad for the poor guy who had to run the lobby when it was that hot. The room was not very clean at all. There was hair in the shower and on the sink and something sticky on the floor near the the bed. The sheets and pillows had obvious stains from makeup so I don’t think the room was cleaned at all prior to my arrival. The staff did get me clean linens when I asked and were very helpful. The stairs were very unsafe bc they were wet from air conditioner runoff. Overall not a great experience and I won’t stay here again if I’m ever in the area.

Black mold in the shower room smells like cigarette smoke and I was in a non smoking room the freezer had a built up of ice so couldn’t use it.. the mattress you can feel the spring and the floor had our feet black from dirt

Very soft mattress I dropped something in the floor when I went to pick it up a lot of dust under the bed. Reception was very slow at the counter people were queuing out of the main office door

First of all I didn't take any pictures because I didn't think about that because I was overwhelmed with disgust anger and sadness. The price was an amazing deal or so I thought until the time of my check in. First red flag was the location, right away upon pulling up to the property I noticed it was a motel 6 when I reserved a room at super 8 which was actually the back half of the motel 6 rooms. 2nd red flag was I had to check in at the motel 6 which was unsanitary and had a bad smell. 3rd the pic they Have on the website is a completely different motel. Not only was it not upgraded it smelled bad there was no comforter on the bed that was advertised as a queen but was actually a full size bed I know because I own a queen so that was a major lie. The worst part of it all I payed for amenities I didn't receive such as a queen bed and free breakfast that nobody mention at check in nor did they tell us a time to get food. The windows didn't open as well as the AC not working for all that I would give it a -5 out of 5 and not recommended motel super 6 or 8 cause clearly they confused. Honestly I'm going to request a refund and forget I ever stayed there.

We came in pretty late 1am sheets very questionable to if they were clean or dirty. We wake to take a shower NO hot water. I go to the front desk tell her about the water. She replied "I don't why they gave that room that building doesn't have hot water". Omg she gave us another room to shower let's just say it's wasn't that much better. I now know spending over 150+ is needed also No breakfast as mentioned. I didn't see any roaches SO happy about that.

The property was advertised as offering continental breakfast which it does not. They have a pool but it was closed for maintenance. The clerk on the desk refused to get a roll of toilet paper because he said he couldnt leave the desk and there was no one else available to help. Very poor service.

Bed no good like a pull out bed felt like sleeping on springs

The room was not very clean. There were old crumbs under the bed and mold around the shower. The sheet on my bed had tears in it and my daughter’s sheet was dirty. I could have been okay with all of those things. The one thing that made my stay pretty much unbearable was that the door to the adjoining room did not lock. That is down right scary. I called the front desk when I realized this (we checked in at 10:00pm). It was midnight, she asked if we wanted to switch rooms and I said yes. She said she was busy right then, could I call back in five minutes and that she didn’t even know if she had a room to switch me into. At that point, I simply moved the refrigerator and microwave in front of the door and prayed for the best. I had my fifteen year old daughter with me. Two females in the room by ourselves in a strange and scary part of San Jose. We won’t stay here again.

Unfortunately, the room was very dirty and outdated. The curtains were burned, the air vents were extremely dirty ( terrible for me I have asthma) the toilet seat was broken. The mattress was the worst part. The minute you layed down it curved. They really need to change the mattress every 6 months. On the website it says breakfast included and they only offer black coffee. I will never stay at this hotel again as a matter of fact I canceled the following day and went to another hotel.
