The only issue was that there were no glasses in the room, so we got cups from the breakfast area. Uber car used by hotel for airport shuttle. Paid for by hotel. Very quick response time. Nice stay, good value.

Very clean and easy access off of the Freeway. Staff was super friendly and made me feel very welcomed. Breakfast had lots of options. While gym was small it was clean and machines were in great shape.

Good value for money Very surprised to not have any glasses in the room, even plastic would have been ok. They supplied microwave, fridge, iron and board. But not one glass to drink a glass of water from. We take vitamins and medications and had to use the small measuring cup for the iron to drink water to take out tablets

The room was indeed spacious. The bed was comfortable. I had what they called an "outdoor room". MY door had no doorsweep. THAT should be of concern to them. I have no complaints really. However, it is close enough to the airport that if you are a light sleeper, you will hear lots of air traffic.

Limited breakfast options, but really cannot complain because it is free. Wish there was trash can by each entrance. There is only one trash can outside the lobby and it was overflowing with trash.

The only thing I hated was the diamond rewards members got premium parking. All the spots were empty while I had to park far away from my door.

Nice having Uber to pick up and drop off at airport - no waiting for a shuttle! there is some kind of scent on the linens which made my eyes itch and water and made me congested at night. There is no restaurant in the hotel. Breakfast is good but basic. There is nowhere to eat lunch or dinner within walking distance except for Burger King! I was glad the mini shop by reception had beer and some snacks.

Excellent property. Clean, comfortable. They hire you an Uber to shuttle to airport so whenever you’re ready, they’re ready. Great service. The only thing i didn’t like was the sheets - they were clean and new, but were polyester or some synthetic fabric which i didn’t like - personal preference only. Everything else was 100% great.

The room was quite spacious and updated. They seem to have an arrangement with Uber for shuttle services to/from the airport, but it only takes about 5 minutes after you ask for a shuttle for them to show up.

Room was clean and fresh and well thought out. Only complaint is that walls are paper thin. I could hear the guy in the room next door snoring and people in the hallway having conversations like they were inside my head. I like to sleep in, and there was no way that was happening here. Other than that, this hotel is a great value and a totally good place to stay.

Clean room, but a little small. Parking was ample and free, so bonus there. It is very loud in the rooms hear as there is little sound proofing and it is near the airport and a highway. It was difficult to sleep at times with the noise. Water pressure was great. Overall not a horrible experience, but may not stay again given the noise. Also the wifi is exceptionally slow, so not recommended for business travel if you need to work in the room.

The hotel was super clean, nice and felt secure. The front desk worker was super kind and extremely helpful, wish I got his name. Overall great experience, great for the price. Definitely recommend trying out this hotel!

I am extremely disappointed with this property. I booked two rooms for my staff members and one room had a gigantic cockroach in it. The rooms also had heavy bleach smells and were not clean. Both my staff members complained and stated they refused to stay in the rooms due to the poor conditions. The manager on site told my staff that they will be issued a refund for the rooms; however, we have yet to see the refund get processed. I messaged the Hotel through the Hotel.com chat on April 6 and never received any response to the status of my refund. I am appalled that this hotel is associated with the Hilton. I expected much better quality and service but did not receive it. Will never stay again!

Was a little disappointed because I didn’t realize breakfast was just a bagel bar. The room was clean and the beds were nice. Pleased to have a mini fridge and microwave in the room, but coffee and tea was only available in the lobby.

The room was clean and very nice. The provided blanket was very thin. There is not a coffee maker in the room. You have to go downstairs to get coffee. The spark brand advertises an "actually filling" breakfast, but it's bagels, muffins, and cereal. Nothing hot. It's continental. Overall though, it was conveniently near freeway and comfortable enough.

Check in took less than 10 min. Clean room, and smelled good. Shuttle runs for 24 hours and helped us out a lot. Cold AC. 7 min or so from airport!

First time staying at a Spark hotel. Clean room. Strange, in the sink area was a lotion dispenser but no soap. Had to get that from the dispenser in the shower. Maybe they just forgot to leave a bar of soap. Reception staff was nice enough but they didn't seem to enjoy their job. The airport shuttle turned out to be an Uber the hotel ordered, which was fine.

very sparkly new/clean. Night staff was a little odd- no one was at the desk when we arrived and 2 others and I had to wait quite a while for someone to return to check in. In our room was a table lamp with no bulbs so we went back down to request bulbs and were told we should change rooms instead. After waiting to check in after a long day, we were tired and didn't change rooms. Why not just give us bulbs, I don't know. No coffee maker in the room, oddly. Microwave and mini fridge were there- fine for me since I travel with tea bags. Breakfast was very very basic. Cold hard boiled eggs, 3 types of dry cereal, some bagels, and packages of oatmeal. Airport shuttle was the hotel ordering and paying for an Uber which was interesting but worked fine. This hotel was perfect for us since we weren't there long -- good value for a VERY clean good sized room without a lot of frills, but with a shuttle to SJC.

It took 20 min. to check in. The guy at the front couldn't figure out how to give us 2 rooms close together. Our 1st room smelled like urine. We went back and immediately asked for a different room. The next room didn't smell bad but didn't have that fresh clean smell. The breakfast was sparse. Hard boiled eggs that wouldn't peel. Funny tasting yogurt. We were there 3 days & they didn't come give clean towels or TP once. Don't stay here.

Not in a great neighborhood, people living in RVs all around the hotel, the water is not very hot in the mornings, it was rough for the cost. The staff was quite helpful, I felts a little bad for them working there.

Overall it was clean, had friendly staff, free parking, and free breakfast. I wasnt expecting a motel layout which surprised me a bit. Everything worked like it was supposed to.

The check in process was absolutely smooth! Giselle was super helpful to us. Love that the property checks in with you regularly via text message. Our stay was pleasant, close Levi stadium. Parking lot is pretty big. It is connected to burger king but still plenty of space to park. Clean & spacious rooms. House keeping was friendly and accommodating to our needs. Room was decent. The reason for this rating is because of the airport shuttle offered. There is NO airport shuttle. Instead they just Uber, which is fine, but they only limit you to one trip. While the other surrounding hotels offer unlimited trip and a real shuttle. I wouldn't state that they offer airport shuttle when that is false. I will never book here again.

The AC/ Heat unit smelled as if someone had smoked in the room, staff said all rooms were nonsmoking and offered to change my room but after a full day of traveling and exhausted and settled for the night, I declined to move. Had a very early am flight only 3 hours in the room. Getting an Uber was fine, no issues and no extra expense to me! Staff was helpful, be prepared to leave a deposit after paying for the room! First, they were having problems with their machines we didn’t get checked in till 430 then they sent us to the wrong room which we had to correct them. My husband is handicap and they sent us to the next building a lot of walking and other thing the towels are children’s size they don’t even go around you if you’re gonna give towels at size give two a piece there wasn’t an extra tall if I needed to wash my hair which I did and had to use a hand towel. And all the vending machines were literally emptied no one ever refilled. We were there four nights. It was a little disappointing compared to what the amenities actually said, and the pictures that they showed it doesn’t seem like you really want to accommodate the people that request certain rooms for certain reasons was very disappointed

Everything was good or great, except the mattresses were so uncomfortably hard that we couldn’t sleep for most of the night. We were sore in the morning. We won’t be staying there again.

The 2 rooms stank of body odor, the pipes were noisy, there were people going up and down the halls screaming. When we called the front desk to ask about ordering pizza for delivery we were told no one would deliver at night because the area was so dangerous. We were there 20 minutes and went to a different hotel. We tried to get our rooms credited but the front desk clerk couldn’t figure out how to take care of it so we are out for 2 rooms for 3 nights. The pictures online are not even close to what the property is.

We would not recommend staying at this location. Our experience was very bad and Hilton has not responded to my written concerns (initially sent a week ago). First, the person at reception did not know the price to leave our car parked there until we returned to SJC, and after several hours without a response we had to drive our car to another parking facility and take an Uber back to the hotel. Second, there was no one at reception in the morning when we needed to get to the airport for an early morning flight, so after 45 minutes of first calling (as instructed) and then going to reception, looking around, calling out, knocking on the staff door, and asking kitchen staff (who could also not find anyone either), we had to take an Uber to the airport. Finally, we were in a part of the hotel with a wedding party, and were awoken at midnight by the group in the hall in front of our room, talking loudly, with the door across the hall from us propped open with the TV on. We had to ask them to please be considerate of other guests.

We received excellent customer service from all employees we encountered but especially from all the house keeping members. All concerns were addressed and resolved in a timely manner. Location is convenient and easy to find. I felt very safe staying here and walking around the property at all times of the day. There is a Burger King in the same parking area which is convenient if you don’t want to drive anywhere for fast food. Will definitely stay here again.

This could have been a good stay if it were not for the fire alarm going off at 2:00am. Unfortunately there was no instruction as to whether we should evacuate or not. I looked down the hallway and saw no activity, no one. I called the front desk and the phone went unanswered. After numerous attempts to call the front desk there was an answer. I was told "everything is OK, someone was smoking in a bathroom". I don't' recall an apology for the inconvenience.

There are better hotels nearby. I feel like this use to be a rundown hotel. I feel like they just painted it and upgraded the furniture and put the Hilton name on it. But it still has that rundown hotel feel. The hallway smelled like marijuana. My room smelled like stale cigarettes smoke bad. The bathroom floor was dirty. Walking on the carpet in my room made my socks black immediately. The heat was off when I got to the room. It was freezing in there. The heater was noisy. The room was big and very wheelchair friendly. They had a nice shower bench. But the water in the bathtub was nasty yellow and had a weird smell. The soap was mounted to high to reach if you are in the tub. Not much parking and I was worried that the car might be broken into. Not in the best location. I feel like this is not up to the Hilton brand standards. And would not recommend staying there. It is ok if you are use to staying at sketchy roadside motels.

I feel i need some compensation for this booking. When i look at hotels to stay at I look for 2 specific things: a gym/fitness center and a pool. If both amenities are unavailable during my stay the hotel should contact the customer and let it be known AHEAD of time. I would have NOT stayed here if i knew their "fitness center" had only 2 machines and both were out of service. The pool was also closed for the last 24 hours we were there. Completely unacceptable to not let the guests know this information

This property is a bit dated. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable, but there was a hole 6' x 8' in the wall around the pipe that led to the sink. It looks like the sink was moved over, but not the pipe. Underneath the new sink location was another hole but there was a board that camoflagued the area a little better. It seemed a bit weird but I was only there for 8hours as I had an early morning flight. It was very close to the airport and the hotel paid for an Uber ride.

Food in refrigerator for Sale, Cup of noodles and Breakfast were more a Sonesta Inn than a Hilton. The Biggest Sin was the Lack of exterior lighting, did not feel safe in an Area with homeless around. T

We stay here often because the location and clean rooms at a great value. Zelda at the front desk always takes good care of us. We will continue to use this hotel in the future.

The customer service on arrival was poor, not welcoming at all. Didnt advise of anything, such as the bagel bar ir coffee. Only gave me 1 key when there was two of us. Room was average, poor water pressure and hot temperature.

I would have given it a five star but they advertise thwt they have a shuttle service. I booked a disabled room for my parents who need it transportation to the airpor. Their "shuttle" is an UBER it was rough to get a car that woukd accommodate my father and his wheelchair.

Very noisy neighbors in the room above me all night long. Couldn’t rest or sleep they kept stomping around and dropping things

Staff were super nice. Breakfast was okay. Parking was good. Everything was clean. I'd just say the homeless in the area was sad. They didn't bother us though. Overall it felt safe.

Staff very kind and accommodating. All interactions with them were superb. Free uber to the airport also a nice touch. Breakfast was ok, bagels, cold cereal, make your own oatmeal.

The place was greatly misrepresented by Expedia as being “Winderful” when it was actuall minimal, dismal, unsafe, dirty, old, no amenities!!!! I will not make the mistake of believing Expedia rating of places to stay in the future. As a woman traveling alone, it’s important to my safety to stay in a place that feels safe and is clean.

TV stopped working and i had to call the front desk 2 times until someone came to change the batteries 20 minutes later, we also forgot 2 jackets in the closet and i called to have them hold them for me i was told there was nothing there.

Loved everything, just the bathroom had a major leak from a leaky hose. But other than that great experience.

We stayed in 138 and people upstairs make so much noise and people are screaming in the hallway. Front desk lady looks like I’m bothering her, so rude and not very helpful. Our room is ok, not the cleanest, breakfast is ok not a lot of choices.

Clean and friendly staff. The breakfast was good but limited.

Overall this property was clean, updated with comfortable bed. There were many entrances from the outside and what we did not like was there were rooms on the outside of the locking hotel doors which require a key card to get in. Which adds an additional layer of security. One of our rooms was at the top of the outdoor staircase before you had to scan to enter the hallway and other rooms. Few homeless camps outside along the street but we didn't have any negative interactions or feeling the parking lot was unsafe. It did get loud as soon as the flights started in the morning but otherwise it was a quiet convenient place. I liked the water bottle filling station as well as coffee and tea station near the lobby.

My room had a leak that was never addressed until I asked for a new room at night given the fact that I was waiting for an engineer to show up and look at the issue

When I found myself in San Jose on a Monday evening with no hotel booked (it was accidentally booked for the following day) I was challenged to find a hotel. All the local hotels used by my company were fully booked or cost more than $700/night. I was delighted to find Spark by Hilton on Hotels.com and grateful for the welcoming staff, the price and the cleanliness.

Nice and clean

I like everything about this place but DOG OWNERS BEWARE they charge a ridiculous, unreasonable, unheard of $75 PER DOG per night. In my cross country road travels this is bat far the highest rate. For context I come across $50-$75 per night (NOT per dog). The cost for my dogs (2) was 1.5x higher than the cost of the room. They can do better.

Friendly front desk staff, quiet rooms. Only complaint is the breakfast is very basic. We went next door to Burger King for breakfast.

Near freeway

This hotel was recently renovated, and the rooms were outstanding for the price paid. Very clean, comfortable beds and pillows, nice shower, great air conditioning, nice television. Location is very close to San Jose airport and yet the airplane noise wasn't noticable from our room. Pool was decent too if you're visiting during daytime hours. A couple annoying issues kept me from giving 5 stars -- first, we were assigned a room but then the key didn't work, and I was forced to haul my stuff (and kids) to a separate building in our reassigned room, seems like a staff training issue. Also the airport shuttle service is provided by Uber, and I had problems on both trips to and from the hotel. At the airport, it took me 3 calls to get through to the front desk to book the Uber for me. On the return, hotel staff told me that the Uber booking service was broken, and I was forced to book (and pay out of pocket) for my own taxi to get to the airport. Thankfully SJC is only 5 minutes away by car. Aside from these issues, I would recommend this hotel.

The property was very nice for the price. Other than a dog barking loudly in one of the other rooms, we enjoyed our stay.

This is the 3rd Spark we’ve stayed at and it never disappoints. Clean, staff is always nice, easy parking.

We had a group stay here in multiple rooms before our flight the next day. Staff was excellent and the parking was cheaper than parking at the airport. We left our vehicle for a week during our trip out of state. They even provided us with an Uber pick up and drop off to the airport.

It’s clean and safe. We can walk freely everyday in the morning and evening. Staff members are very friendly. We will stay the next time whenever we go to San Jose area.

Chairs in the dining room will damage your rear end cheap breakfast very poor service toiletries not being replenish.

We had to wait for rooms to be clean because we were there before check in but the front desk notified us right away as soon as a room was ready. They have a large lounge where you could sit and hang out. The breakfast was good, fresh bagels and juice, etc. Clean and spacious room with a comfortable bed.

Never once had housekeeping. Had to track down maids to give me clean towels.

The upside: Our rooms were clean and comfortable. the a/c works and not noisy compare to some other hotels that are newer. There are ample parking spaces, no charge. The location is within walking distance to coffee shops and restaurants. The price is affordable if you're on a budget.

Walls are a bit thin: could hear my neighbor late at night laughing while watching TV. And next to airport, which means sporadic moments of incredibly loud take offs of freight aircraft. Bring earplugs if seeking sound sleep.

The room was comfortable including beds and finishes. The breakfast options were good for the price point. The main hallways had an odd odor, but luckily not in the rooms. Overall decent hotel near the airport for our one night stay.

This appears to be an old property that was renovated, and they did a great job. I appreciated that the A/C worked properly, the room has enough light, the desk and chair were well designed and comfortable. There was hot coffee in the lobby at all times and it was pretty good. The breakfast had interesting cereals. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If I had to stretch to find something they could do better, it would be to have Golf Channel on the TV. It was very close to the airport which is a nice convenience on a business trip, but I wouldn't recommend it if airplanes over head are too much to handle.

Seems rooms were renovated however the hotel itself is a bit old. Our ADA room is not quite roomy. Though there was a chair for the shower but seems there’s no way to place in the tub. Breakfast was ok not much of selections. Mainly bagels and muffins. Boiled eggs aren’t fresh, juices are tasteless. All in all it was ok I think there’s room for improvement.

The property is old. I has been painted and fluffed about as much as you can without an full renovation. But it is still lacking. Having cats in the lobby, just feely walking around. With roaches in your rooms. in 30 years of travel. I have never encountered this poor condition of a Hilton property

The hotel was mediocre best. The bats were queen, and I didn’t have a whole lot of complaints other than the rooms were never cleaned as they had promised. Breakfast was very mediocre and very limited. But I also knew that when I purchased the stay at this hotel. I’m just extremely disappointed that they say that they are guaranteeing satisfaction and I’ve never received a call back or anything. I won’t be staying there again.

When we checked in we were assigned room 168. However, when we opened the door to the room, there was a shirt in the bath, half drank Gatorade bottle on the nightstand, the hair dryer was used and plugged in, and the AC on full blast. It was obvious that someone else was already in the room. A bit shaken up, we went back to the front desk who assigned us to a different room
