    The view was amazing. Staff was excellent. Shower floor was very slippery and noise level of other guests kept me up til 3am... 2 nights in a row. No sleep. Didnt like that I had to pay $50 to park my car on premises. Coffee bar not fully stocked.

    This is a nice hotel downtown San Jose and what you would expect from a Hilton. I do however have some feedback: 1) if there is any noice outside it feels as though the windows are open. 2) there is no smart TV in the room so you are left watching whatever channels are available, unless you have you laptop with you 3) room service and restaurant prices are extremely high 4) the bathroom light is a motion detection light, so it will turn off on you in the middle of your shower. No big issues, just details I wanted to share. I would definitely stay here again!

    Hotel is in a great location with lots of shops and restaurants in the area. Also walkable to SAP arena where we attended the NCAA Men’s Basketball Regional. Rooms are dated but comfortable and large. Ask for a higher floor Away from street noise. Housekeeping never came until late afternoon, just as we would be getting back to the room to shower before dinner, so we never had the room cleaned, just exchanged towels. Mattress was uncomfortable, seemed old and needing to be replaced. Front desk staff wasn’t very helpful and we had to wait until 3pm to check in even though they told us 500 people had checked out early that morning. The pool area is nice but no bar service available there. Overall it was fine but not great.

    Upon checking in to room 420, I was shocked to find that the bathroom had not been properly cleaned. The bathroom light was on, as if it had just been used. Whoever used it, didn't flush and the toilet seat had urine on it. When I brought this to the front desk's attention, they apologized and offered to send housekeeping. Since we noticed after already getting settled in already, I ended up having to sanitize the area myself. Beyond the cleanliness issues, the room was incredibly noisy. Whether it was the thin walls allowing sound bleed from the pool area or the street noise it was very difficult to get a restful night's sleep. The valet and front desk staff were friendly.

    Pool was nice, water was a little cloudy, lots of chlorine make sure to take goggles. The room was nice EXCEPT the couch. That was gross..it looked like a lot of stuff happened on that couch. 😳 for as much as you pay you would think they would clean it. Also the mattress on the couch bed was equally as gross. I would not let my kids sleep on it.

    The room was spacious, centrally located and clean. We loved the bathroom because of the vanity area and lighting. Our biggest gripe was the air conditioning as it didn’t cool down enough despite us adjusting the setting. Lastly the room itself lacked adequate lighting. During the day the big window helped with natural light but at night the only area that was well lit is the bathroom area. Despite this, overall, we enjoyed our stay, and would stay here again.

We had to use the small side doors to haul all our bags out while also trying to hold the door open to get through. Very inconvenient. Also didn’t like that the garage only did valet parking (high cost), so you can’t easily grab something from the car. Also very hard to locate ice machine on the floors. After finally finding ours (unmarked random door), it was not working so we had to go search on another floor that felt like a goose chase, when we finally found the door, it was locked. Shower floors were very slippery.

    The staff was very friendly & welcoming and I was able to check-in early (c. 11am). Room was very large and overlooked the outdoor pool. The temperature was very warm, but after I contacted the front desk, maintenance came to fix. All good!

    I liked that the room was comfortable and stocked with everything I needed for my stay. I had plenty of towels and toiletries. The free bottled water was a nice touch. I didn't like that my room number was taped on the door with painters tape. Must have fallen off, but didn't look very professional posted on the door with tape.

    I stayed one night here for a conference I attended at the San Jose Convention Center. It was only a 5 minute walk. As soon as you walk in you see a gorgeous bar and the check in process was painless. The room was super clean, well appointed and just plain beautiful. My bathtub was huge and the complimentary toiletries smelled so good (bergamot). The hotel is within walking distance of dozens of restaurants and cafes. My only dislike was the sheets were a little scratchy, but I won't deny that I just may be a linen snob. 😂 If I attended another conference here I would definitely stay here again and make the 5 minute walk, it was worth it.

    The elevators were out of service and also an expired service certificate of the elevator was shown publicly on the elevator. The cost of the hotel fell extremely short from it being a hilton brand.

    Doors would shut, it has a wooden wedge door stop. I moved it with my foot and got stabbed with a sharp piece of wood sticking out. Ceiling was peeling and had water damage. The vent rattled and the smell was odd. The toilet wouldn't flinch completely it took 3 flushes and then the toilet ran. You could her it nonstop. The shower leaked all over the floor. Then went in the morning down to the restaurant to order breakfast. The QR code to order wouldn't let you order ahead of time. I went down there and the service was awful. They were short staffed. The manager wouldn't take my Togo order until after she asked people behind me how many to put on the seating wait list. I ordered and she said it would be ready in 20 minutes. 30 minutes later she came up with a menu to place my order again. She stated they lost my order and never made it. She said they would comp my order which is the least they could do but I had a $100 hotel credit that came with my hotel package that now went unused. Needless to say it was a total of an hour wait for my food. She looked in the bag and said it was all there. I then went to my room to discover my breakfast and my son's were missing our toast for both orders. Our syrup container melted between the pancakes and leaked over everything. My coffee had no creamer or sugar so I couldn't drink it. It was the worst stay and I did all this to surprise my 10 year old son for New Years Eve by staying at a nice hotel. Ended up being worse then a Motel 6. The housekeeping said they give the worst rooms in the old non renovated part of the hotel to the 3ed party booking companies. That makes sense now.

    Nice location and decorated very nice The chairs in the room were all old and the leather was coming apart, there was hair balls, stuck in the sheets from either the washing machine or the previous person, when you go down to the parking level getting off the elevator smell smells like sewer, valet in the morning didn’t know his hours. I asked him if the valet will still be open after 10 he said yes she’ll be fine. Go to the top and park it, we went to the top and they said no you have to go back to the bottom. We have to open the cage for you, so knowledge of that was a little off, the bed was either falling apart or broken because the moment you laid on the bed, it shook the headboard was coming off the wall.

    Room neglected. Shower handle broke off, toilet was leaking + had to flush multiple times. Armchair had period blood stain on it that hotel tried to get out but was still visible. Office chair almost broke when leaned back. Room was big but just an older hotel and not 5 stars.

    There are no amenities in the room. Just a shower cap and a thin packaged makeup wipe. No mini bar. And the restaurants all have strange hours, so you're in this giant hotel with no available coffee or minimal hours to try to eat within the hotel. The bar service was just okay. The drinks are not great, the wine is not great. And good luck with the buttons in the elevators. Half of them don't work or you have to press them ten times or get out of the elevator and go to another one where your room floor works.

    We stayed for 2 nights. Hotel overall is nice, clean and has a nice bar area to hang out in the evening. We spent a couple hours at the pool which was nice but since its August, there was no service. I had to walk about a mile to pick up food and beer for the pool. The pool was average, nothing special. The hotel is nice and centralized. We walked to san pedro market for food and drinks. There were a few things that missed thr mark, imo. Our room didnt have a hair dryer which we just requested. The safe was locked so we had to hide our valuebles the first day. Hotel doesnt have a quick coffee shop, only a sit down restaurant so we had to walk to find morning coffee. We may or may not stay again. Nothing really stood out.

    This is a 3 star at best. We had a suite- no safe in room, had to call down to front desk to get one- no one answered, had to call front desk from cell phone and wait on hold for 5 minutes before someone answered. Bed was hard as a rock. ZERO bathroom amenities. Seriously? No q-tips, shower cap, nothing??? For $500+ night I expect more. Rude and unhelpful front desk staff. Will never stay here again

    Overall it was comfortable and I will return. Would appreciate ceramic cups and glass water / wine glasses. Paper cups wrapped in plastic didn’t do justice to the excellent Nespresso provided . Quality bedding and amenities- love the pool! The Lobby Bar has an excellent staff. The food offerings are quite limited - I hope they expand their offerings in the future as the kitchen is talented.

    It was our 2nd time staying in this hotel. We enjoy the pool and convenience of the location. Our room was different from the first time we stayed. This time, you could see it definitely needed an upgrade. For the amount charged, I expected our room to be as nice as the first time we visited. Its a very nice hotel, but the rooms need to renovated, our room had a lot of "wear and tare" and the furniture was very out dated and damaged. We would like to do this once during the summer for a "staycation" and will come back again, hopefully the rooms get upgraded soon.

    Mixed Experience at the Hilton – Great Location, But Some Misses We really enjoyed the location of this Hilton—being within walking distance to great restaurants and lively nightlife was a huge plus. The hotel bar had a fun vibe and served quality drinks, and the staff was generally friendly and welcoming. That said, there were several small issues that added up and impacted our overall experience. The pool was closed for two of the days during our summer stay, and the cabana area was under renovation, which was a bit disappointing. The market on-site was almost empty when we needed a few essentials. While the fitness area was spacious and well-equipped, it didn’t seem to be cleaned regularly. Also, the ice machine on our floor wasn’t working, which was a small but frustrating inconvenience. Altogether, it was an okay stay—we loved the convenience and atmosphere, but a bit more attention to detail and upkeep would’ve made a big difference!

    Beautiful hotel with spacious rooms and amazing amenities. The reason why I rated it so low is because I booked this hotel because it appeared to have the best hotel pool in San Jose. However we had no heads up that there would be zero access to the pool while we we there. This was beyond frustrating since that was the main reason for booking. I would have chosen a completely different hotel to stay at if I was aware of this.

    It was convenient for my daughter as she was attending a 3 day convention across the street. Parking was expensive, there also is was a wedding at the hotel, on Friday they had a reception at the pool which they had a DJ it was loud, my window was poolside. Sat was another reception and two rooms across the hall were standing in hallway and talking loudly for several hours. Hotel was clean, efficient.

    My main issue is the shared community microwave located downstairs. It was filthy! There were bugs flying around it, even inside of it.     Everything was good, except the valet Parking. They charge $50 for the valet parking. We text the valet ticket number and then we have to go and wait for considerable amount of time before the car comes out. The valet has to wait on us and we should not wait on the valet when we are paying $50 for one night. This must change. I could see they were very short staffed. Yet they were charging every exorbitant amount, but not staffing up well to provide good quality of service.

    I was placed in a room where the AC unit was outside my window. I was not able to sleep because of the noise. I went downstairs to complain and the receptionist told me that she would send maintenance over and she apologized this morning that I checked out. I also informed her again about the noise. She said that there was nothing that they could do because I had reserved my room with a third-party.

There were a few hairs lying around on the table in the bathroom. This property was walkable and convenient to places I had to visit. The price was not worth the stay.

    Very nice and clean property all around from the lobby to the rooms. The valet parking staff at drop off & pick up were very friendly. However 2 the girls at the front desk can use a lesson on how to be friendlier. Multiple guests at the event we were at for the 3 days we were there told me the same thing. Just note: this hotel does not have a parking garage, valet parking only at $50/day with in/out privileges.

    The ice machine on my floor was broken, and I was running around the floor looking for the other ice machine on the floor, when I ran into an employee, he took action right away and brought some directly to my room.     I have given this hotel a n excellent rating but there are few things I feel I should address. One is the shower; you have a rainfall shower head and a handheld shower head. If you look at the water handle it shows red one direction and blue the other direction which usually means the control of the water temperature. But in this case if you turn to the blue the handheld shower come son and if you turn to the red the rainfall shower comes on and you really cannot adjust the water temperature. The second also has to do with the shower, when taking a shower, I highly stress be careful, there is a tile flooring n the shower and it gets very slippery when wet and there is nothing to prevent you from falling in the shower if you are not very careful. Those are the only 2 things I can see that needs addressed.

    Beautiful lobby and dining areas. Rooms are large and spacious- albeit slightly outdated. Cleanliness wasn’t an issue, shower/tub was great and no hot water issues for me. Valet and housekeeping were awesome. No issues overall

    Overall fine. However I had two issues. When I reached the valet had closed. So had to drive my car to the basement myself. In the room, there was no hand soap. Then when I called and asked for soap, they said they will send but no one came. Had to call again the next day for soap.

    There was a party going on downstairs till 1:45 in the morning went downstairs complained the manager asked if they can go into our room and listen like as if they didn't believe us extremely dissatisfied especially the amount of money that we spent we ended up finally going to sleep at 2:30 and then got woken up from a bunch of kids yelling and screaming in the pool
