Quality Inn San Jose Airport/Silicon Valley

The room smells musty, kind of like mold. We switched to another room, but it had the same smell. The hotel is a bit old. The room size was ok, close to Airport. The street side room was very noisy with cars racing by. Won’t choose Quality Inn again.

I had a wonderful time here. It was close to all the things I wanted to visit. The breakfast was always good. The only thing for me that stood out was that my room had stains in the carpet but it didn't deter the experience. Our room had good AC and came with a mini fridge. Over all excellent stay for us.

After showering, my partner and I wanted to use the hairdryer, but it wasn't working the moment we turned it on. We tried unplugging, replygging, leaving it along for an hour, but it wasn't working at all.

Room was nice and comfortable. Bedding was soft. Bathroom was tiny, sink was on the outside. Staff were clear with instructions and very nice. After showering, my partner and I wanted to use the hairdryer, but it wasn't working the moment we turned it on. Can't think of a thing. We'll room was semi clean. Minimal parking. I had to park on the street. One drink machine on site, and it stole my money. Staff made it right. The floor i was put on smelled of Marijuana. Even in my room. Air was off and my room stagnant. Not a pleasant stay and I will not stay there again.

Everything was perfect! Room was clean, breakfast was delicious and the air conditioning was great! Convenient location! Quality inn never disappoints!

The staff was very attentive, the only thing I disliked was I wasn’t able to see my vehicle from my room. My room was facing the opposite side of the parking lot, other then that it was fine.

Convenient to where I was working. Was able to drive to the beach after work or on the days I had off. Kitchen/dining area was great to have. Breakfast was average for Quality Inn. Windows were dirty, but there is no view anyway.

The check in process was super fast and easy. The rooms were very clean (we had 2 rooms). Beds were beyond clean. Everything from the bathroom to the bedside stands were amazingly clean. Staff was super friendly when we asked for extra bags or towels. Everyone was super quiet at night and it was super easy to get a great nights rest with the AC blowing for an amazing rest! I definitely will stay here again

The room had a distinct odor. We aren't sure what caused it, you nose adjusted to it after a bit. The room was satisfactory and met our needs since we were barely in it except to sleep for a few hours. The noise from other guests was off the charts. It felt like they were in the same room as us almost. Had a vending machine issue when the item we thought we were purchasing was not what we got and the item we got wasn't even a choice to be made. After a bit of conversation, the front desk finally gave use a bottle of water since that is what we paid for, not a soda (which is what came out).

My room was next to a busy street and the road noise and sirens made for light sleep. Had I been staying more than one night. I'd have probably asked for another room.

Also the toiletries, I am not a huge fan of having shared Shampoo/Conditioner/Lotion with previous guests. Do they change the bottle for every new guests or have I been unknowingly using the same bottle as the previous guests. But they came with free wifi, a mini fridge and a microwave. So, overall it was a nice stay.

What specifically stood out to me was the very hospitable staff that I came across during my stay, specially Diane. She made sure to cater to my requests, helped to provide recommendations for places to visit and was very polite, kind and considerate. She alone made my stay more satisfying and worth recommending to others that are looking for hotels in the area.

The rooms toward the street was noisy, so I moved to another room with $45 more dollar. The moved room was quiet. It was not toward the street.

However we had a slight problem with aunts in my shower and my family next door had ants in their bathroom as well. Other then that world definitely stay again

Rooms in the past have been moderately clean and quiet. This last time, my room was not as clean as normal and my next door neighbor had their TV on all night long, not super loud, but audible. So, not specifically the hotel's fault, but more of an indicator of the types of people that stay there.

Good value, great front desk service. Clean. If you’re sensitive to noise, note that one side of the hotel faces Montague Expressway. It didn’t bother me. The breakfast room was kinda small for the number of people who used it when I was there. The eggs were just okay but the cereals, etc. were fine. It wasn’t far from places to eat or the SJC airport, but it’s not a very walkable neighborhood to get around. I didn’t use the gym.

No pool on site. The midshift attendant was pretty rude. My nephew had lost his wallet on the premises and when we discovered it was gone, I called the hotel to see if it was turned in and if the guy could go check the parking lot for it..his demeanor or and tone of voice indicated that he was not concerned with the missing item. I also had to repeat a few times that I was staying at the hotel. I did inform the morning front desk person upon check out.

When we got here, it was after 11PM, so the door was locked and there was a sign to ring the bell. We rang it several times before someone came. When he came, he tried to just talk to us through the window but we couldn’t understand him. He buzzed us in and the check in process took SO LONG!! We were exhausted after a day of travel and it was such a long & grueling process. Then, when we got into our room, it was SO HOT:( And the mini fridge was not plugged in. Then, the remote control for the TV didn’t work. Bc it was so late, we just manually turned the TV on and left it on the channel it was on since we couldn’t change the channel. The toilet paper was the thinnest toilet paper I’ve EVER SEEN:( Like literally see through. Beds were kinda comfy so that was nice. We stayed in the accessible room as I’m disabled, and while the shower was ADA compliant, the floor didn’t drain properly so the floor was COVERED in water after a 5 minute shower. Nice breakfast so that was a plus. We skipped check out and just left the keys in the room bc we couldn’t handle another check in/check out process. Overall would not stay here again. Bummer, but especially for the price.

I appreciate the lower cost with breakfast included. My toddler and I stayed for one night. The hotel was well kept. Our room had a leak in the bathroom and the sink seemed a little clogged. I let the staff know and they were very responsive. Staff is very friendly and I felt comfortable staying there.

Nice place in San Jose, CA. Easy to get to and nice staff. Rooms have an odd design, but are functional and everything worked just fine. Best part is the price is a good value for a nice, clean room.

This is a quiet little hotel. The staff is very nice and super accommodating, and the breakfast is hot, fresh and good. There’s an easily accessibly laundry room on floor 2. The rooms are pretty soundproof so there’s lots of peace, quiet and privacy. Definitely recommend if you’re visiting or working in the area!

Typical Quality Inn, with really great staff that were friendly and helpful. Place is conveniently located off a major street which makes it easy to get to, but a little noisy, although the noise in the room was minimal. Old carpet with burn marks and the layout was a bit odd, but reasonably clean and useable. Lots of working people were staying there, so you know it’s a good value. I would say it was probably full looking at how maxed out the parking lot was in the evening. Breakfast was typical, and well stocked, even before closing, which is nice when one doesn’t have to get up early.

The palace was really great and clean. It was also quiet. No real road noise heard. The only thing I didn't like. (Which is common in most mid grae hotel) You can hear the person above you walking around. water piipes running in the AM. But, Overall I would defiantly recommend this hotel. Breakfast was a good as Hampton Inn. Free parking a big +

And when we came at night to go to sleep we were locked out of our room for an hour. The keys were not working and they couldn’t get it open for hour.

Very comforting and felt welcomed

The sheets and towels were clean. The room was spacious, but severely lacking in lighting. There was a dead bug on one of the sofas (That's what made me gave the 2 stars in cleanliness). Bathroom was in serious need of refurbishment - there was so much wear in the bathtub that I can't tell if it was worn or dirty. I would pay more next time to avoid this property.

Overall, the price that we were charged very worthwhile. Location is convenient to Great Mall, not far from the airport.

Most of the stay was good, the check-in service was good, the room was quiet and clean and the hotel breakfast was warm and well tended. But on the last day we suffered a big water leaking from the bathroom ceiling. I think the hotel was aware of this problem from earlier occurrences. It needs a permanent solution.

Room was clean and basic. Didn't have a safe. Power went out about 11pm for about 10 min. When it came back on we needed to get the AC started again

The only redeeming factor was how clean the staff was able to get this hotel considering the overall condition of the place. If not for their amazing room cleaning staff this would be a one star review. Having read other reviewers giving this place 8/10 has made me no longer trust reviews on Hotels.com.

Hotel staff made this stay wonderful! They were very accommodating and friendly. Continental breakfast was also a plus. The hotel is very small, and parking is easy and convenient. The only negative would be the smelly carpet in the hallways and rooms. Needs an upgrade. The room had an odor and the traffic was horrible in front of the hotel. It is located right off the interstate and is a pain getting out.

Roaches. There were roaches openly roaming the lobby and we only noticed right after eating breakfast there. If I had seen that prior to breakfast, I wouldn't have eaten there. Thank goodness we only stayed one night.

My Girlfriend and i liked the property because it was 1. close to where we needed to go, and 2. The lady at the front dest was very nice, professional, and very informative. I don't mind booking another reservation here again.

We were assigned a nice room, but neither the TV nor the telephone worked. Eventually, a kind staff member got the TV to work. Otherwise, our stay was pleasant and uneventful

I book a room here at the quinta in hotel they let me chicken early chicken in online. They charge me hundred dollars for incidentals plus $30 early checking in and then they said just come and pick up the key when I show up the person the clerk charge me another hundred dollars extra and he said my credit card wasn’t working so I gave him another credit card and he and he charge another hundred dollars that’s not fair, they should have someone available at the front desk who can do business and not rip off people because altogether they charge me $300 incidental fees and that’s not cool I’m upset I don’t even want to stay in this place anymore

i arrived ar 12:00 am. Front door was closed but receptionist let me know that I can come through the side door. I did and she registered me and gave me my room card. I went out to park the car, and when I came back my card did not opened side door. Receptionist helped me out again. When I get to the 3rd floor and to my room in the end of the hallway the card did not open my room. I get back to the 1st floor and receptionist reformate my card, and we together get up to the 3rd froor. it turned out that she programed the card to the wrong room and so on... By 1:00 I get into my room.

I stayed for one night from out of town to go clubbing, room was excellent, clean, comfy beds, sheets/pillows crisp, hot&cold water for shower on point, a/c worked great and black out curtains did there purpose in the morning. Everything was awesome, I will definitely stay again
