This is a very nice hotel. It is well maintained. If you want room cleaning service daily, you have to ask for it. The front desk won’t tell you this at check in. But this is a nice hotel.

Our room was clean and the bathroom was nice. The shower was excellent and I like having a higher toilet with an elongated bowl. The bed was a bit soft but I find that everywhere. The breakfast was good as well as the bar. The staff was very nice and supplied everything I needed. I would stay here again.

The entire hotel in itself is lovely the rooms and main lobby were clean and pristine. Although do be aware that the breakfast in is a separate fee you can enjoy complimentary coffee but not the breakfast buffet.

My neighbor in the room next to us had his/her music so loud that we couldn’t sleep. I called the front desk and all he could say was they had no security, no manager on site and it was only him and the bartender there. I told him I needed something done. When nothing changed, I called back and he didn’t answer the phone on two occasions. I then called the Hilton 800 number. She connected me with the guy at the front desk. He then told me he would go to the room himself. It was 11:00 PM. Then the music stopped. My son and I listened to the music for at least 2 1/2 hours. It lasted from 8:30 to 11:00 PM.

We love staying here whenever we're in San Jose! Just a freeway exit away from Downtown, and it feels like a luxury hotel at a moderate price. Water pressure is amazing! Rooms are clean and spacious. And we're almost always able to check in an hour or two early.

ALL AROUND GREAT SPOT TO STAY HIGHLY RECOMMEND....

Everything was fine except TV programing didn't work. We had to wait for someone to come and they came the next day! Also the cooler didn't work, was not cool at all and they fixed it or brought one that worked.

The lady at the front desk was very helpful. The hotel was clean. The restaurant and bar was closed because the waiter who happens to also be the bartender called in. Its hard to believe that one person can close down the entire restaurant and bar. There was garbage and furniture left on the sidewalk near the entrance to the hotel. We were on the fifth floor with a view of a person inside the dumpster going through trash. I will not stay at this hotel again.

Missed breakfast - I left too early and I was sad about this. Leaving my car in the parking lot with signs saying that I was responsible for damage made me nervous. But I didn't feel unsafe, just the signs made me aware not to leave anything.

Parking made me a little nervous but we got parking spot right in front of the hotel and our vehicle was fine. Check in was quick, Lira was so kind and made our check in seemless and wonderful. The room was very clean and comfortable. Minor fixes could be made in the room for esthetics and repairs. We slept great, kids were comfortable and slept great too. The breakfast buffet/menu was perfect for our needs. We will definitely stay again when back in the area!! Loved our stay!

From the moment I walked into the lobby to check in. I was surrounded fresh scent, and friendly staff that greeted me with so much enthusiastic welcomes. I brought my father in the take him on a holiday for a couple of days. His birthday amd Easter. We had a great time there. Nice delicious breakfast and wind down with a bite to eat and a beer. Its.was nice not having to leave and drive elsewhere. Room was super clean.Staff greeted you every time you exited the building and returned to your room. Ill be seeing you next month.Thanks for your wonderful hospitality!

Booking has this hotel listed with free shuttle to the airport. The shuttle does not run 24 hours. It usually starts at 6 am, which may not be ideal for early departures.

Window auto shade was broken, also noted that the hot/cold handle in the tub was detached, ( still worked ) just handled gently.. However the staff downstairs pointed us to a yummy row of asian cuisine walking distance from the hotel.

we stayed only one day in Hilton Garden Inn San Jose Airport. The room is very spacious and clean. Bathroom is spotless. The staff is very friendly. I forgot to bring my toothbrush and they gave me a brand new brush free. I will definitely stay again next time when I come San Jose.

Beds are very stiff, it took 3 calls to the front to bring me extra blankets. Power went out during my stay while in the bathroom not fun! Breakfast very expensive for the quality. Coffee was not great.

This is now my new favorite place to stay in San Jose. The hotel smells good, the rooms were very clean and very spacious. I love the bar area. The morning crew in the breakfast area were very friendly and hospitable. I look forward to staying here in the future.

It’s really easy to check in and the elevators are pretty fast. I got was absolutely beautiful everything you need literally. The bed was super comfy and the room is super clean. Even when you turn on the air conditioner, you don’t see any dust come out. It’s really everything you need for a couple nights or even just at night.

The housekeeping staff left carts in front of the elevator doors blocking access to them. The bartender, Ivy, was outstanding. She should run the place. Overall, I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend to anyone that they should either. I'll stay at the Marriott.

I booked the airport shuttle bus by phone in advance. I waited for a long time but the bus didn't come, so I called the hotel 5 times but no one answered. I came to the hotel by Uber. When I complained to the front desk, they said they couldn't make a reservation. I played a recording of the call when I made the reservation. I was very disappointed

Clean with pleasant front desk I think they overcharged me. Talked to Zaldy, DOO. He said, it might be a deposit that hasn't hit yet, give it few days. I waited 19 days, nothing reversed.my booking with booking.com was for $706.19+296.18 total 1002.37 They charged me a total of $1221.10 Aprox. $200 I don't understand. I called couple times to talk to Zaldy, they said he was out. I gave up!

I liked the facilities in the hotel and the staff were friendly I didn’t like the location. The area was dangerous and the hotel did have extra security but I did not like walking around the place.

We had an early flight so we weren’t able to take advantage of breakfast. Unsure if it is complementary or additional cost. Although I see positive comments here regarding staff, we did not find the staff (front desk and bartender) to be very friendly…unlike other Hilton Garden Inns we have stayed at recently. We felt like we were “inconveniencing” them.

Check in was easy, staff member ( I didn’t get his name) that was present at that time made it quick and friendly. The lobby was pretty clean and organized and modern. They have snacks available for purchase, a bar in the lobby along with a lounge area and a few arcade games. Room was clean and welcoming. I felt safe as a single female in the reservation, bed was neat and comfortable, shower was well stocked and clean. Parking was easy for myself with a compact vehicle.

The bad was the service. Waited for over an hour for the shuttle. The food service took a while as well. The good was the room was very nice. Very comfort and clean.

Decent property but issues in the room: clogged sink and a shower head that barely produced water, it took ten minutes to rinse shampoo out of my hair, and was a terrible shower experience overall. Really noisy outside the building with someone setting off fireworks through the night and burning rubber in the parking lot - not a great area but property is one of the better ones around. Front desk staff had no customer service skills and acted annoyed I reported plumbing problems at check out, no thanks for staying or sorry to hear this - made the experience feel that much worse.

I liked how close it was to everything I needed. To begin with the room smelled DISGUSTING. It had a horrendous order to it. The room was filthy. We found a contact lens and the backing to some earrings under the night stand. The internet sucks and if we wanted the premium we needed to pay extra. We booked a room with a bath tub and we got a walk in shower. We asked for help and they never came up to help us. So many things went wrong here.

Bad communication and expectations and experience with the shuttle pick up from the airport or lack thereof. The front desk stated that I would be picked up once I picked up my luggage and they knew my arrival time was at 11pm but when I called for my ride I was told that they didn't operate a shuttle at that time.

When we checked it everything started good. As my wife was laying in the bed she got bit by red ants. Upon looking around room we found more ants. Spoke to front desk they moved us to another room and the 2nd room was dirty and smelled like urine. Spoke to front desk again and they gave us a 3rd room and that room had ants as well. So just just went ahead and checked out of the hotel. Bad thing was we had to travel up there for a family emergency

I really like this hotel. It’s always clean, and the staff are nice and kind. However, the surrounding area doesn’t feel very safe, and parking is not free.

Hilton Garden Inn San Jose is close to SJC airport, sandwiched among large, newly-built tech buildings and older 'legacy' San Jose. The hotel (interior and exterior) aligns with the former; parking more with the latter. Interior so clean it almost sparkles.(Sep_2025) In-house bar, accommodating kitchen. The exercise room, like the rest of the facility, is a bit exceptional but not ostentatious. It is likely the HGI San Jose does not need (or want) an online recommendation.

I researched many hotels in the area, and Hilton Garden Inn truly exceeded my expectations. The property is modern, well-maintained, and very welcoming. Both the lobby and my room were spotless, spacious, and comfortable. I was thoroughly impressed and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

When we check into our room everything was great. We left for a bit and came back and our room had ants everywhere. It was maybe 11 pm when this happen, Eza was amazing and worked quickly to get us into another room.

This was the perfect property for my family. I traveled with my senior parents, my 28- and 17-year-old daughters. The property was clean; the staff was pleasant and accommodating; my girls enjoyed the gym; my parents enjoyed the lobby area; we all enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The handicap accessible rooms were spacious enough for my mother to navigate safely. It was worth every penny!

This property is clean and close to the freeway. The customer service was amazing! There was an issue with our room the first night and the manager, Mr. Cordova, rectified the problem immediately. Lira from the front desk was sweet and helpful. We will definitely be returning to this property. We had a wonderful stay.

The lobby advertised a game room - all games were either non working or broken. Our room was infested with Ants - the 2nd day we were moved - and in the 2nd room the safe was not working so we had to carry our valuables with us. Horrible location - do not stay here

The only complaint I have is, that the room 224 had stinch to it. Almost like a stuffy smokers room. Next time book i will definitely pack lysol and an air freshner.

Great hotel, the bed was pretty hard for my comfort my husband and kids agreed we woke up sore. Breakfast is not included and it was $24 a person for basic hotel breakfast buffet. I checked out early at 5 and they didn’t have any coffee until 6AM. Thankfully Starbucks was nearby. Most likely will not be back due to the beds.

The location was easy to find although not in a great area and limited ourside food options the hotel staff was efficient and super friendly and accomodating. The room was modern and super.comfy and had all the amenities and very eco friendly which made out stay amazing.

I loved my stay here. Cleanliness is super important to me and this hotel did not disappoint. Everything was super clean and quiet. Staff was really nice as well. I felt very welcomed. There's parking in the uncovered parking lot and it was free. I'm not sure if it's always free because I read somewhere that it costs money so just double check before you go. I loved everything about this hotel and I'll definitely stay here again when I come back to San Jose.

We arrived at check in time 3:00. We were heading to a concert. We had booked 2 rooms, neither were ready at 3:00. We had to wait an hour for one room and an hour and 40 minutes for the second room. Because of this we missed dinner plans with friends before the concert.

Check in was easy and smooth. Room was clean and quiet. You can never go wrong with a Hilton! I have gone to other hotels in the past that seem like really nice hotels and they’re usually more expensive and never as nice as a Hilton!

The hotel was good. The surrounding was okay, typical California issues.

Our experience was very weird. The staff when we first got there was oddly unfriendly at check-in although they were fairly quick to get us a room. When we got into our room, there must have been 15 rat traps in there. After dinner, we asked the front desk what the deal was with all the traps. After some talking, they gave us a new room. No traps in the other room and it was clean and fine.

They allow me to check in early due to my flight arrangement, clean room, friendly staff. Need to improve: the shuttle is not ready for early trip on Sunday, the first trip is at 7AM. I have to call Uber instead, because my flight is early in the morning. I chose this hotel because of the airport shuttle, end up with useless shuttle.

Staff need to understand billing a bit better. Since I booked thought this website they charged my card thinking I would receive a final bill through this website. Which is untrue once I check out they need to ask guest for emails to send billing quickly.

Mom and I stayed for a family gathering in town with my pup. We were pleased with the cleanliness, the easy going, professional staff. Helpful and responsive, but not overbearing. that part was great. would stay here again; clean rooms, clean hotel, quiet. Only issue for us was there weren't a lot of good pee spots around the hotel; very concrete and not the safest area to walk the pup- but this would only be an issue for those traveling with dogs who are bit particular about where they pee. Great hotel and great price.

Good location for what we needed for our stay. Room and lobby were clean. But rooms have thin walls. Can hear people talking in the next room, babies screaming, kids running around in the room and bed screeching.
