Clean room, great bar area, comfortable bed. Staff was very friendly and thoughtful.

I liked the historical aspects of the hotel. The windows and much of the design were original. The location is very nice and close to all the other key attractions of downtown.

I don’t mind paying for overnight parking, but for 46.00 they can park my car and take in my bags. Self park and no bell service, in yet there was a a huge tip jar there… hummm???

Very clean and comfortable hotel, nice bar/lounge with comfy seats. Close to restaurants and bars. Sits on First Ave which is VERY loud on Saturday nights with cars, music and people in big numbers making noise until early morning.

Beautiful historic building very nice well appointed room. Great cleaning staff and amenities in the room. Just wish they had double panes windows bc it can get noisy. Otherwise very charming lovely stay.

We stayed one night at the Four Points The room is specious but layout is little different with TV being closer to one of the two beds. But it was not a problem as we did not watch tv. The bathroom is also specious and very clean, water flow is nice, wish bathroom had more counter space. Location of the hotel is very good. Light rail stop is 3 min from hotel and takes you to Diridon station, where we took the caltrain to SFO. Overall we had excellent experience at this hotel.

Although the parking was pricey, they made it easy and easy.

Not a very quite area for family’s with kids. Hotel representative at night was no help. Told us a total and then added more to it after we were told a certain amount. Hotel has very good potential but you can tell no one cares. Then charge hotel guest 42 bucks for a night of parking. Then charge the public 20 bucks to park in their parking lot. They are just money hungry.

The location was very convenient. Rooms clean, updated and quite nice It was cinco de mayo weekend so I don’t know if this is always an issue, and not about the property per se, but the cars cruising after MN with music blaring was too much to sleep through! The windows weren’t soundproof , nor double panels it seems. The trolley bell also got to me at 6am!

Very nice inside. Due to the older exterior in the downtown area I was expecting a rundown room. Not the case! Huge room, clean, staff was very friendly. They also have a restaurant and bar. Great for event nearby, many options within walking distance.

The gentleman at the front desk was underwhelming, I asked some questions about the area but language barrier caused challenges, while ok, I don’t mind working to communicate with others he seemed more interested to get back to the stuff on his phone. The elevators were underwhelming and just needed some TLC that is the first impression on the way to the room. I had to fiddle with the front door to get it to close right each time in and out. The room was clean enough but just felt a little rushed to get together in design and cleaning. Again, ok property and traveling 1 night for buisness it was fine, I slept and walked to food around. Also just don’t walk around too late. It’s rough out there.

Clean hotel near convention center, but restaurant was empty at dinner time, chairs were scattered all over the place like they were in storage but they were open. Staff was incredible!

Decent place to stay but someone charged their meal to my room and I am having a hard time disputing the charge.

Unfortunate we had to be sent to the Weston Hotel as Four points over booked. This is the second time this has happened to me and my family. We were told itnwould be the same rste and were charged way more. We were told it would have a sofa bed and it did not. Due to us arriving late at night i had no time to complain. My babies were tired. So we all slept on one bed.

The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was nice. It’s in a great location with easy access to shops, restaurants, and the opera. The restaurant was beautiful and the waiter was very good, but he was apparently the only person working in the restaurant that night, so he was also cooking…which may not have been his forte.

The entire decor felt very warm. Dark and moody colors. It didn't feel cold and stale like most hotels. I loved everything

Television was not working. From check in to after we left room to go to a show, someone from the hotel was in the room. (over 4 hours after check in) It didn’t allow us to rest and made us feel uncomfortable leaving our stuff in the room.

I was driving up from Los Angeles and checked in over the phone at 4 PM, When I arrived at 2:30AM, they had checked me into the wrong room (A queen) when I had a junior suite for my roommates and I. I had to sleep on an uncomfortable cot they hastily provided. Luckily, they made me whole and gave me my correct room for my second night.

Good location. A little trouble with 2nd valet worker . Wouldn’t let me in to park. Even though i had a parking pass. I was coming back with my family from eating dinner. Just to go back to a headache ?. I was charged 47$ dollars for parking knowing that i purchased 2hotel rooms. The management was unprofessional he didn’t want to believe me and said ill look at cameras. He tried to avoid and tried to get rid of me by saying he would reimburse me 20$ for parking. Its not about the money its about the respect and about principality. I have 4kids and a 1year old . I had to drop off family then circle the block 3times mind you it’s Christmas in the park.. No name mentioning needed. Dont want to throw anyone under neath the bus. Customer satisfaction comes a long way. Thanks Parking

The good - the area but you know this bc it’s downtown and that’s where you wanna be so you’ll book this place for the convenience of the location. The room is spacious. The plugs work and they’re on BOTH sides of the bed (I swear non one has this anymore) My fiance is there for work a lot and I will not be booking this hotel again.

Last-minute booking in need of a mobility accessible room. Friendly and efficient staff. Only two elevators. One is tiny and the other is a bit roomier. It is an old building, so it can be forgiven. However, it was somewhat inconvenient. The room was clean and well-appointed. The bathroom was easily accessible for my wheelchair. There were grab bars all around in the bathroom. A shower bench would have been an improvement, but that is a quibble. The bed was springy and overly soft to my personal taste. That is likely a plus for many. For those with mobility issues, it was difficult to get out of it. Generally, it was a pleasant experience.

Hotels.com messed up on my reservations and only had room when I have booked two rooms for me and my family. I was inconvenience and having to pay for a new room to be booked.

I only spent 12 hours there and found every thing clean and in place. However at 1:42 am someone in a reflective vest knocked on our room door several times before walking away. My wife was shook and couldn’t fall back to sleep.

this hotel is a renovated landmark right in the heart of san jose. the staff greeted me like i was a family member. the room was very nice and well appointed. the Mosaic bar and restaurant is attached to the hotel and has very good food. you dont need valet parking since secure self parking is located adjacent to the hotel. no pool, but a relaxing outdoor courtyard.

The property was nice and clean. Wasn’t a huge fan of the parking situation because there is no entry to the hotel through the parking lot that I could see. Other than that, I would stay there again.

This property is pretty nice bits it’s starting to have problems. For the past two days my room doesn’t have hot water and they can’t seem to fix the problem. The person at the front desk keeps telling me that they will fix it but it hasn’t been solved yet. Too bad because it’s a reasonably priced, clean, boutique style property in a good area. If it wasn’t for the hot water problem I would review them much better. After this experience, I can’t recommend it and wouldn’t stay again.

We came for the Mike Epps comedy show and wanted a hotel within walking distance. This fulfilled the bill nicely. My husband got to use more of the hotel than I did along with my son and daughter-in-law while I was at a hair appointment. But I enjoyed it once I arrived.

Decent older hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable; and rather large. Professional and courteous front desk team. Great location for local attractions. Overall a very nice experience, however very expensive...not the hotel experience or ammenities expected for nearly $900/night.

Great location. Walking to good good & coffee.

This hotel has become my new home as my daughter is moving there for school. Everyone is super friendly, especially the property manager, Mr. Kash who definitely made it feel safe and like home.

Front desk staff was very kind and welcoming.

This hotel would be rated higher if the parking was not $45. Downtown was empty so parking is not an issue, so I felt it was a hussle by Sheraton to charge so much for parking. Probably will find a hotel next time where parking is less expensive. Bad Business Plan!

Only request for next time would be a firmer pillow and perhaps stay in handicapped accessible room that hopefully had more safety bars in shower. Unfortunately I fell taking a shower this morning. We plan on staying here again for next year's Blues Festival.

The property listed on the website says parking available, but didn't list the cost of the parking which was very expensive. The price should be listed on the website. Next time I will try to book thru different travel agency because the price for the parking should be listed on the website.

Clean and friendly

It’s a small place good for short term stays. Other than the restaurant linked to the building there are no other dinning options. Luckily there are a few places in a walking distance. The parking hard to maneuver since it’s only accessible on a one way street.

Staying here was astonishing, everyday for the duration of my stay I would come back to a more than stellar room.

It was a good stay. Room was in the middle and the window was very small so felt a little jailed in.

I had to pay with my credit card for the night stay, than what was the point of having to use affirm to pay for my hotel when I had to pay with my credit card for the stay instead of affirm? I want refund from affirm

I would definitely stay again. Staff was very friendly and nice. I stayed in room 407 and it was too small for my husband and I. Our view was nice facing the street where they do Christmas in the park. Very clean hotel. The bar area is such a pleasant place to have some food or drink.

Got a room with handicap shower. Not a big issue but a regular shower would have been better

Not the quietest of areas as it is adjacent to the metro rail, but it’s a convenient walk to SJSU.

The room was nice and clean and the people were friendly. The extra $42 for parking at the hotel was a suprise as I thought it was included in the night stay but was not. Other than that it was a decent hotel for a decent price downtown.

I love this hotel. I plan to stay here any time I am in San Jose.

This hotel was right in the middle of San Jose, with all the one way streets, crowding the traffic. Was woken up at 4 AM by a garbage truck backing up and beeping at its loudest for over a minute! The restaurant did not open until 7:30, way to late for most business travelers, although a 6:30 time was posted on the door! The parking cost $47/night for self park. I will not stay here again.

Location was close to many places downtown and was very convenient. Loved the ease to get to my room since the hotel is small, but doesn’t feel like comfort is compromised.

Loved staying here. Smells Amazing when you walk in. Very clean, quiet, and modern looking. Convenient restaurant and bar within the hotel. Only downside is you have to pay $45 for parking a day.

The lobby is a little old and could use a refresh. The restaurant was supposed to be open daily for breakfast but wasn't. The room was large and comfortable, though for me the blanket was way to light weight. But the real turn off was having a Book of Morman Bible and Bible on the nightstand, which I found completely inappropriate and disconcerting. For that reason, I would NOT stay here again.

It was very close to the event: Genesis X2. Good quality service when I needed help with something. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Overall, this is a nice property. However, having double hung, single pane window in a downtown area isn’t optimal. Super loud at night when all the surrounding businesses receive supplies from trucks in the middle of the night. The trolly blaring its horn all night long doesn’t hel. I had about an hour of reprieve at 5am. If you’re not sensitive to noise when you’re trying to sleep, a very nice property with a long history. If street noise keeps you up, this might not be the place. I should note I live in the country and it’s dead silence at night. Nearly all other accommodations I’ve stayed have never bothered me. This one is just a little louder than the rest.

The staff was excellent! So friendly and helpful. My only criticism is that the bed was so soft. I could’ve switched rooms, but I figured all the beds would be that soft …seriously way too soft.

We been coming to this place for over 4 years great time every time

Can’t complain based on the price we received. Amenities in the room were minimal/basic. Seems as it’s a good place for solo travelers. There was just one small water bottle provided in the room, and just one regular single coffee pack and one decaf. Wife and I both wanted regular. Also had thin walls but fortunately the young kids next to us didn’t party too late. Staff was friendly and place was clean.

Can’t explain without being rude. You can’t have her as your front desk person.

I didn’t use room service but I had a great stay! The only thing I can say is, they should offer a breakfast bar especially when the their competitors are Hilton and the Marriot hotels, tuey offer an amazing breakfast bar! I paid 20 dollars more for a hotel that didn’t offer breakfast. I would stay here again and being my daughter cheers which is why we were there I would stay again,,but I would hope they made a breakfast bar!

Nice big room .not much of a view but we sis have 2 windows that over looked an alley. Room clean and hot water in shower all are priority. I have stayed at hotel before and i will continue to do so

Love this place, our go to in san jose

The room only had a very light blanket and no comforters, which made it a bit chilly for me. The heater was so noisy, that I thought it was a dryer running upstairs. Along with various trolley and street noises throughout the night. I did reach out to the front desk for an extra blanket, but unfortunately, they were unavailable until later in the evening. It was a bit challenging to get comfortable, as I kept finding myself getting up throughout the night because I was feeling cold.

Nice clean rooms but very loud banging pipes throughout the night. In town to attend a funeral and the constant interruption of sleep was not good. Will probably not stay here again.

Absolutely ridiculous, booked 2 rooms, both with king beds and later on I received a call saying that they messed up and only had 1 king room and they would have to upgrade the other room to a “suite”. I was like ok cool that’s fine. I get there and they say they only had the suite that they had already given away the other bedroom I had requested. They said we should all be able to squeeze into the “suite”. The so called suite was a queen bed with a sofa bed next to it. Smaller than any regular room I’ve ever gotten. My husband is a big man, he had just gotten back from being away for military duties and for them to say you guys can all squeeze in a small bedroom with smaller beds was absolutely ridiculous to me. They didn’t even offer anything like a discount even though it was their mistake.

There was what looked like a dirty towel in the room, but I just didn't use it. Parking was too expensive, so I opted for street parking. It was close enough to walk to everything, so that was great!!

COLD SHOWERS!!!

This is the second time I’ve stayed one night at Four Points in downtown SJ. Checking in was much smoother than last time from the moment I pulled my car into the lot and when arriving at the front desk. I don’t frequent San Jose often but when I do and feel like I don’t want to drive back home, this is the first hotel I check for availability.

Lovely property with lots of places to eat or party at nearby. Really close to the convention center for events a little loud sometimes but wasn’t really a problem for me.

Room was clean and bed was comfortable, the windows in the rooms are awful, you can hear everything that goes on outsite including the little cable bus that goes through downtown all night long. Over 40$ per night to park in their lot which isn’t covered or gated it’s just a parking lot with a security guard. Location is convenient but wouldn’t stay here again.

Parking is expensive, I suggest park in the structure to save a few $. It is downtown so maybe try getting a room that is inside facing. My view faced the parking lot and it was a Friday night so as expected got a bit loud. The only con as for the room goes, was the bath was only Luke warm, other than that great hotel room and service.

Always a wonderful experience when i stay here. Close to restaurants and fun night life. And reasonably priced

The parking lot got full especially for late check in guests. The tv in the room was to the left side whic is an awkward location. The bus/trolly or train kept going off every 30 minutes. The room was really clean, the staff was friendly. Drinks at the bar are super expensive even if you get a voucher to save. The bathroom was really nice and the area was great because there are bars near by. This was comfortable but it definitely was luxury.

The property was well-situated in downtown San Jose. It was close to a number of restaurants and only a 15-20 minute walk from Diridon Station. The hotel seemed to be recently renovated and my room was comfortable. The complimentary bottled water was a nice touch. Wifi was also quite good at this property. I was not able to use the coupon for my welcome drink, but that was a nice gesture. There was a gym at the property, but it was quite small - the front desk offered to provide me with a voucher to use the gym at a nearby hotel, but I wasn't able to take advantage of it. Overall, the hotel was pleasant and I enjoyed my stay. I would consider staying at this hotel again in the future if I had the opportunity to visit San Jose again.
