Loud construction type noise around 6 AM.

Having the main light come in when you enter the bathroom in the room is annoying. If you get up in the middle of the night to use it, you wake up other people in the room too, and get blinded. Shower in our room didn't drain fast enough, it's always unpleasant standing in water.

The hotel is within walking distance of a light rail station, a 7-Eleven, and different kinds of restaurants. The free airport shuttle runs every 30 minutes, but you'll need to contact the front desk to reserve a spot. Depending on how busy the shuttle is, you might be able to ride at the next scheduled time. My room was very neat and clean upon arrival. Water coming out of the shower was reliably hot. The lobby has nice tables and chairs typical of Courtyard hotels. The food from the bistro was delicious: I had a quesadilla for dinner and a sandwich for breakfast and they were both delivered hot and fresh. You can ask the front desk with its friendly staff for late check-out, which is free up to a certain time, depending on how busy the hotel is. The light above the walk-in shower will turn off automatically, so be sure to switch on the mirror light before you take a shower. The AC has no option to keep the fan running constantly — this might be an issue if you can hear cars driving on 4th Street to the northeast. The blinds has some light leaking on one side only during the day. There were no ethernet ports available, but I had no issues with the Wi-Fi. It would be nice to have room service to deliver food ordered at the bistro straight to my room without having to wait at the lobby, but as someone who is physically active, I don't mind the extra walking. When I called the hotel to request a shuttle pickup from SJC around 6:45pm, no staff was available to answer my call for a few minutes, which made the pre-recorded menu prompt to repeat.

No housekeeping didn’t come to my room not one time

A security knock on my door with a really bad attitude, told me that I can't play music. He even said that he will call police if I still keep my music on. Omg what kind of the hotel with a security like that.

The rooms are small. I just transferred over from Hyatt House SJ Airport and their rooms are large w full kitchens. At Courtyard, on Thursday and Friday night beginning around 1 am, there were many people outside the hotel yelling and screaming. It actually sounded like they were drunk and arguing! The gentleman who checked us in seemed a bit irritated. We were gone most of the day in hopes our room would be restocked with towels & bed made, but neither was done. No free breakfast either.

Tv didnt work, called front desk and they said they couldn't do anything about it. Then for breakfast that I paid for i called and asked what time did breakfast end and they said 1030 I got there at 10 and they said since there was nobody they closed early and called the front desk and they said that there was a miscommunication

Both were warm, friendly and very accommodating. I appreciated the welcoming spirit and attitude they both had.

The service in the bar area in the evenings given by Mike, were outstanding! He remembered all three of our names and orders for the week were there. Everyone is always smiling and willing to help out.

We’ve been staying in a lot of hotels around the Bay Area recently. This one had everything you could want. It was comfortable and clean and had a good TV. The location was convenient and the beds were very comfortable. We considered the price quite reasonable as well.

When we booked the hotel, Expedia stated the hotel had a pool. The hotel does not have a pool. They took it out a few months ago.the Wi-Fi was not good. It was clean, had new renovations, and the staff was friendly. It was also quiet considering the airport is nearby.

This hotel was highly disappointing due to the ongoing construction. Everything is closed, including the gym, bar, restaurant, and swimming pool, yet they still charge full price. The noise from construction is constant and very loud, lasting all day until around 8:00 PM every night.They provide earplugs, but it's not a solution when the banging is relentless, making it impossible to relax during the day.The property is cluttered with old furniture from remodeling. In the garage, the staff has created a makeshift area with this furniture where they gather to drink.This makes the environment feel unsafe and unprofessional, especially with empty alcohol bottles around. Walking to our car several times,the staff was being loud and behaving inappropriately, which felt quite intimidating, particularly since the garage is poorly lit. Very minimal interaction with the front desk, they did waive the $15 per day parking fee after I complained about not being informed of the construction and amenities when booking. In the bathroom the shower small black hairs stuck to the walls, which we had to rinse off before using. The glass door was filthy, and hadn't been cleaned in a long time. When I opened the door, the smell was terrible because our room was directly above the trash bins where I could even see rats rummaging through the bags! I strongly advise looking for a better place until construction is complete,the property is properly maintained and employees are better!

Mixed feelings: the elevator was outdated and the lobby’s ceilings were in disrepair but the room was classy and comfortable, as a Sheraton should be.

We stayed in a suite and it was generously sized and furnished very well. Adding extra ottomans, and laptop friendly side tables, ample charging ports make stays more comfortable. We paid $10 each for breakfast and it was worth it, however their coffee could be better.

Stayed here twice in 5 days coming and going to SJC. Room the second time much better than the first- on the same floor. Incredibly friendly staff. Great shuttle service. Bummed that the restaurant was closed due to renovations. No great breakfast options within short walking distance. Beyond that, pretty standard hotel experience.

Things we didn't like: - Tiny, super cramped bathroom: Imagine the bathroom door, the bathtub/shower, and the sink. Put those on 3 sides of your rectangle, and then the toilet is smack down in the middle of those 3. And there is barely any clearance between them. Using the toilet? If anyone else is with you, they better not open the door or you're smacked. Getting out of the shower/tub? You have a small landing zone, otherwise you're standing in the toilet. Using the sink? Don't back up, or you're tripping backwards over the toilet. Pillows: The pillows may as well be cotton candy, because then at least you can eat them and they'll be useful. Laying on the pillow puts you back at pretty much your head almost just touching the bed still. Some of the worst pillows I've ever had in a hotel, unfortunately. Construction: (bad timing on our stay) We were awaken by construction noise in the rooms around us. It was like amazing surround sound, but it's real life and not a movie you chose to watch. Construction was 8AM-6 PM, Mon-Fri. We were supposed to stay Thurs night - Sun morning. We ended up checking out after one night because of all the above issues. Thankfully, the staff was understanding and helped us check out quickly with no hassle. Positives: - Clean room: No complaints here. - Staff: We left a watch in the room by accident and they held it for us to pick up.

On the day of the reservation I received this email: "We wanted to let you know that, unfortunately, Four Points by Sheraton San Jose Airport cannot honor your upcoming booking on 5/14/2024. Occasionally, properties have to change or modify bookings unexpectedly." The major hotels were booked and we had to stay farther away from the airport in a much lower quality motel, not hotel. We will stick to The Westin or Hyatt from now on. Travelers beware!

The hotel is undergoing renovation. The restaurant is closed which makes it inconvenient for business travel. The rooms are dark, old, and loud from hallway and outside noise. I would not stay here again, at least not until the renovations are complete.

It was only an inconvenience due to the key machine being down for most of our stay, making it less appealing to leave the room often as we would have to be escorted back to our room once we had come back from being out. The staff were very nice and attentive, so that was a definite bonus. There are also a few nice restaurants within walking distance for a quick bite to eat if you didn't want to eat at the restaurant in the hotel itself. Also-- most of my gripes can be attributed to the fact that the location was undergoing renovations at the time so in all honesty it was a good trip considering.

The rooms are fine. A bit dated, but currently undergoing renovation. The bigger issue is that, not sure if it's related to the renovation or not, but the hotel key card machine apparently does not work. Since they can't make you a key, an employee has to let you into your room every time you come back in, which was both inconvenient and weird. Normally there is a restaurant, but it is also not available due to the construction. I would not recommend booking this place until renovations are completed

There key machine doesn’t and so they have to get someone to unlock the door every time. And they advertise a bar and restaurant but they were both closed for renovations. This is not what I expected at all for the money I paid. Very disappointing!

This was a nice and clean hotel with a buffet for only $10. Will definitely stay here again.

Informative for my next trip to this city.

The staff were attentive and friendly. However, for winter time, the bedding was inadequate -- very thin -- like sleeping with a couple of sheets. The comforter was ridiculously thin, so I turned the heater on . . . which sounded like I was in a wind tunnel. I slept about 4 hours the first night . . . and 3 hours and a couple of hours a little later the second night. No extra blankets in the closet.

I like the stuff are very nice, the place are quite, just some areas need to be a little bit more clean but I definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and relatives. ❤️

Convenient to airport and long term parking. Dinner and service was great.

Spent one night to go to a 49er's game. Was able to check-in earlier than posted time which was nice. Room was nice, adequate. My issue was with the bath/shower: the valve to redirect the flow from the bath to the shower didn't seal well. So the pressure from the shower was weak, and there was still a lot of water coming out the spigot to the tub.

Downtown San Jose is a mess. This hotel I will stay at for quick airport in and out.

The service was good. The parking lot is scary to walk through day or night. The room was not clean and there was mouse poop in the shower and closet. I would not stay here again.

I only stayed for one night but overall i would stay again when im in the area again. My only suggestion would be to maybe upgrade the gym equipment by adding maybe a full universal cable station

This hotel is comfortable and clean right by the airport. We ate dinner and it was great and the service was good as well.

Checkin was so quick and easy! The restaurant bartender was amazing! We loved him!

My carbon monoxide censor had a a low battery and was “chirping”. They quickly changed my room and did it with a smile.

Unfortunately, there was no water available on the property during check in. Could not shower or use sink. Very inconvenient, as you can imagine. The property seems really ideal but without water I feel a complimentary stay would be a gesture of goodwill.

Pretty bad area. My car was broken into on their property. Talked to front desk and they didnt care. Didnt offer any kind of assistance. Two nights later the car parked next to me was broken into also. If you can stay somewhere else please do. Will never stay in that area again

My boyfriend and I were literally trapped inside the bathroom because the door latch malfunctioned and was unable to be fixed. We were offered a new room but declined because it was the last night of the stay. When we arrived the room was so humid(it’s December). It took all night to get the room comfortable. Being charged for parking when I am paying to stay at your property is not appealing and will affect my choice of stays in the San Jose area in the future. Do Better!
