The room was very nice and clean .the staff helped us print work documents for us. The morning breakfast was very good as well.

The staff was nice and the hotel was fresh and the cleaning was good. The location next to Target is a big plus as it makes it easy to buy fruit and drinks. Also the convenient parking which was free is worth a lot when you come by car. What lowers my rating is that my room was facing the highway and there is very poor soundproofing in the windows which meant that I was woken up at night by the traffic. I can imagine staying here more times but then it will be a requirement when booking that the room is not facing the highway. Poorly soundproofed windows, it felt like the windows were open during the night.

There was no any option for vegetarian breakfast. Expedia shows vegetarian breakfast available but hotel says that they don't have.

Breakfast is not included so we have to pay $25 per person and choices are limited. One of clean lady said “ no English,” when we asked for additional toilet paper. Hotel does not have its own parking place so we have to park in the Target parking lot which is close enough. Overall, it is a nice hotel but with $230 per day, you would feel something is missing.

Great location for the Super Bowl

I landed at 4 am and went straight to the hotel, where a man behind the desk informed me my reservation was cancelled. I tried to explain but was interrupted and given a lecture about being on time. I asked if I could still get a room, I had been traveling 23 hours. He said yes but I’d have to pay for the entire reservation, which I never objected to at all, I run a hotel, I know the rules and abide by them. The room itself had a nice layout, was clean, water pressure was good. The pool was amazing and private, although the handicap accessible chair for the hot tub swings and will hit you in the shoulder. Because we lost an entire day of our trip, I asked the front desk about extending a night and was immediately told no, claiming they were “completely sold out.” Checking Expedia showed 15 available rooms and their direct website showed availability. Neither front desk agent looked up from what they were doing, checked the system, or offered to let me know if anything opened up. They offered us a one hour late checkout but didn’t inform housekeeping, who rudely pounded on our door at 12:01 pm and demanded to know when we’d be leaving. Great hotel with unfortunate staff. I travel to SJ often but won’t return here.

Staff were nice and helpful. Room was nice and clean. Called the font desk to have them fix the refrigerator. Staff replaced the refrigerator with a new one. Very thankful for the San Jose Marriott.

The hotel was nice. But the beds, omggggg horrible!! So hard and uncomfortable. I couldn’t sleep all night. Pillows were also sooooo hard. Price was ok and service was ok but never staying here again. Might as well slept on the floor.

Great place to stay if attending the niners game!

We arrived 1.5 hours after check in time. Our room was not available along with an entire lobby full of people. We were advised we needed to wait because rooms from the previous night were not clean. I paid $569. for a room that was very small. The rate was way to high for what we received. The women who was checking us in was clearly frustrated when we advised it wasn't ok that our room wasn't available. We had plans that we needed to get ready for. The women checking in walked away from us and had another team member help us.

Property is nice. The amenities were top notch.

While the manager was doing every thing in her power to make everyone happy, she was taking on way too much. I wouldn’t ever book here again the day after a concert/day of the next concert. Many people were unable to get a room before hand. They need to really look at a better solution and maybe not allow late check outs without a fee. Many people were upset and those that were showing aggression or being rude were given their rooms and the ones of us that were being polite were pushed off. The rooms were super clean and the hotel isn’t too far from the stadium but I don’t know if I would stay again for an event. Need to definitely have more than one manager on and maybe have all hands on deck. I would also suggest having at least two people at the front desk when the concerts or events end, the gentleman at the computer was overwhelmed by everyone coming back after the concert, either to finally get their rooms or get snacks out of the shop. Overall- the room was very clean and well stocked. Had a nice view of Levi Stadium and they did try their hardest, but I believe some changes should be made.

Conveniently close to six flags but is definitely next to a rough neighborhood, that has sketchy people and drug addicts walking around. The only other downfall is the noise from the street; there seems to be no noise buffer.

Great staff and service. Shuttle service is a great way to get around locally. They will take you to Levi stadium if you’re going to the game. Staff is great at recommendations and suggestions to get around the area if the shuttle doesn’t go as far as you’re wanting.

My family stayed for one night. You could tell that the room was not cleaned well. There was hair in the bathroom all over the floor and in the shower. There was also ants in the bathroom crawling everywhere. Our view was the loud freeway. The only thing that was half way decent was the extra pull out couch for my kids to sleep on.

We loved our stay here. Very very clean and felt safe and appreciated. Close to many food options and next to a Target. This hotel was well worth the cost and so glad we chose to stay. Desk clerks were trained well, pleasant, efficient, and helpful.

The hotel was nice but when I booked the room through a third party I had requested a wheelchair accessible room for my daughter. According to the front desk employee that checked us in, that message was never relayed to them ans they didnt have one available with the same accommodations. Luckily my daughter's wheelchair fit through the bathroom door so the only thing she was not able to use was the shower.

The location and service was excellent. If ever needed to book in the area, I would definitely recommend and book again.

Went to a concert at Levi Stadium and hotel was conveniently located. Same parking lot as Target so if one forgets the necessities can walk there. Free breakfast at Starbucks bistro within hotel. Front desk would issue vouchers at check in which is redeemed for breakfast meals. Clean and modern. Will stay there again.

Trip to see old friends.

I usually end up to this hotel for work. And during the day is fine, but the proximity to Target makes it a bit sketchy. Inside the furniture could be renovated, but they are not in terrible conditions. The real problem is the price/quality you get for 600 usd a night.

I met one employee on check in who was actually from where I live. It made for a great connection and I only wish her the best. It helped both of us, knowing we weren't alone in this big world.

One night on trip north

Very convenient short walk to Kevi stadium in a nicer area of the city. Had plenty of dining choices on the wall to the event. Plan to do the Levi stadium cisits this way in the future.

The hotel itself feels OK and safe, but it is next to a Target store that is a bit sketchy. There are often young people loitering and drinking alcohol in the parking area and it seems like a poor area where you have to watch for your car and yourself. The rooms are nice and nicely furnished. Also the bathroom and shower very pleasant. The food is great too. But the room was noisy and the soundproofing should be improved dramatically. It's a hotel often used for business travels because of its proximity to Silicon Valley companies. People who go there for business have early morning meetings and need to sleep well. Therefore, the hotel should make sure its customers can sleep well. On that note, the mattress was deformed and very uncomfortable. Mattress comfort is another key area where the hotel should invest.

The hot tub needs resurfacing and is so rough, I cut my hand. The doors to the outdoor seating area lock and the room keys do not work to open them. Guests have to walk around the entire building to get back in. Even when brought to the attention of the front desk, they did nothing, continuing to watch as guests get locked out. The walls are paper thin and I had to turn up the volume on the TV in the middle of the night because the bedroom noises from neighboring guests brought many questions from my children. “What is that banging?” “why is she…

Best hotel in san jose

What I like is that the place is accessible to freeways, next door is Target and across it are 2 well known fast food restaurant. Staff are obviously service oriented with the way they treated us...from the start we check in, with the hotel maids giving us enough towels, and the breakfast buffet FREE for all 6 of us. Thank you.

The staff was excellent, went above and beyond by helping with concert tickets. All the employees were kind and professional. Pool, spa, and small gym was a nice touch, although the spa could’ve been a little hotter (no adjustment for temperature). Stayed on the fourth floor, but could still hear children and voices of neighbors. The window shading seemed to be reversed. It had the blackout on the inside and wouldn’t completely block the entire window. It’s surprising how an inch of light can effect extra sleep. Can’t complain when it was the closest, most affordable hotel 4 minutes away from the event. Had fun and for the most part enjoyed the stay! Would do it all over again! Back to normal life! Yuck…

Last night in Bay Area, used my reward night and that was really nice! Overall this hotel is above average bearing in mind it’s in a techie environment so bland at best but efficient and decent! Wasn’t great weather so the pool wasn’t an option but the bar and snack area was really nice, even the super expensive coffee,albeit was excellent just $$$

Hallways/elevator had trash at times. Doors were very hard to open. Carpet in enteanxe is weird to walk on. Only one entrance can be used. Limited parking. Loved pumpkin contest, bar I s small but was good. Coffee bar shoukd be open longer. 12 or 1pm.

Tip for guests: if using the free hotel transfer, clarify with staff your arrival terminal at SJC. Terminal A is domestic and Terminal B international and they are some distance from each other. There is scope for confusion about the pick-up location for the shuttle bus which differs for each Terminal.

I booked the room with multiple beds and it was spacious and very comfortable. I would definitely book a room here again.
