Air conditioner was so loud couldn't sleep. Asked to change room but was told they were sold out even though rooms were available online.

Super clean room, bed was super comfy no funky smell, room very spacious, plenty of bath towels, toiletries were a plus, parking is very easy right infront of check in office, fast and easy check in process, breakfast was the best Ive had in a hotel. many options for breakfast. will definetely stay here again when in San Jose.

The room was roomy, comfortable, clean, and everything (tv, lights, outlets) were all in working order. Even though this hotel is located on a relatively busy street corner, our room was quiet. The beds were very comfy, the room was clean, as was the bathroom. Breakfast was served down in the lobby, and consisted of waffles, potatoes, sausage, eggs, toast, and a small variety of breads, teas, coffee, and juices. Overall, it was quite good. The quality of service was great, as was our breakfast. We were highly satisfied with our stay and would definitely recommend staying here.

The staff here were fantastic. The room was clean and comfortable. Ice water and warm drinks were available at all times. Breakfast options were typical, but there were extras that made Breakfast a little extra special, like toppings for the scrambled eggs. The nearby road is very busy, but we didnt hear any road noise in our room.

Room is clean and front desk staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast is amazing. Wifi is good. Wish they provided body wash instead of bar soap. Similarly, if safe was available, it would definitely be 10 out of 10.

This is a 3 story small hotel with a small pool close to a university and residential neighborhood. Full breakfast has those fun flipping waffle makers and many toppings. Home fried potatoes are thinly cut and they have a coffee brewer with several espresso variants

Front desk was immediately responsive to text messages and resolved problems quickly. For example, the tv was in Spanish mode and we couldn’t get it switched to English. Solved within 10 minutes!

It was good! The only bad thing is that they give me a handicap room, since my booking was not even last minute book. Room is all the same just the shower is kinda weird set up.

Everything but the staff, which is great, was ok. We’ve stayed here for years as a good memory, but it’s not a great hotel.

The room was more than I'd expected for what I paid. It was quite and clean, the bed was super comfy (though that may be traveler's bias) and the shower was nice and hot with good water pressure. I missed breakfast unfortunately but they still had coffee and some snacks laid out which was a welcome surprise. Overall great experience, and it's definitely on my go-to list the next time I'm in the area.

I didn't like the A/C heater that my husband had to turn on bec he felt cold. Everytime it was on made a very loud noise that my husband could not sleep. About 3 am he phoned the front desk and told him to listen at the noise and said something more which I didn't hear. Eventually I had to turned off A/C and I gave him my sheet to cover him. My husband is a light sleeper.

The hotel is convenient to the airport. We lost complete electric in the room when I was blow drying my hair. We were finishing up in the dark. Parking is tight.

It is located very close to Santa Clara University which is why we picked it. The sink did not drain and filled with water. There was a handprint on the wall in some clear liquid. The price was good.

Location was close to places that I need to go to and convenient to many eating establishments! The side we were on was close to a busy roadway so it was very noisy all of the time. And there was a loud tapping sound coming from behind the walls.

If I could give it 0 stars, it would be just that! When we opened the door, it already had that cigarette odor. We turned on the AC and it made it worse. So, i ended up leaving the windows open to get the smell out. We were next to the street so it was loud with cars passing by. We could not sleep. Next! The shower! The water was jet strong and it hurt taking a shower. The water wasnt going down fast enough either that it was filling the tub up to my ankles which was so GROSS! The bacteria coming from the drain is of course backing up into skin. We called to complain but we were told earliest maintenance can come is 7 AM. No one came. Also, i was told all rooms are non smoking and they were booked so we couldnt get a different room! I woke with a sore throat and a headache! Another issue was this noise we think was coming from the AC. It sounded like water dripping but it was coming from the walls. It kept us up plus the noise from the streets! I wished we were at least offered a discount if they couldnt switch our rooms or offered a refund and i would have been glad to transfer to another hotel!! I wanted to save $50 for a cheaper hotel, but wont happen again. I am willing to pay that extra $50 for a non stress overnight stay at a hotel! Also! The man that came to check the shower kept saying “this has never happened before” REALLY? Youve NEVER dealt with a clogged shower drain?

Only issue was the average room condition with a faulty toilet that kept running and ultimately was leaking into the lobby. We ended switching to a new room that also had a running toilet.

Very friendly staff. Room was available for early check-in. Wish breakfast was a bit earlier maybe 6am. I didn’t get to grab breakfast there before I had to head out. The light at the entrance of the room didn’t work. People(possibly other guests) waiting in the parking lot seemed to be watching me and my children as we grabbed our stuff from our car. We came back down a few hours later and they were still standing around watching us. Made us feel uneasy heading back to our room.

Jose on staff was excellent, kind and helpful. Breakfast wasn’t so great. Remote control for TV was terrible. Sheets were stained.

The truck was parked in front of a security camera, which we were told later that it didn't work. No police help without a video. We will choose a different hotel on the next visit.

Location It was basic. Shampoo and conditioner only in small bottles. Breakfast was ok.

Stairs and elevator are accessible from outside. Didn’t feel as safe as a hotel, it’s more like a motel in that respect.

We came for WWE Smackdown and some sightseeing. This hotel was amazing for our stay it was convenient to the airport and SAP center and most of the attractions are in walking distance from the hotel. We would definitely stay again! The staff were amazing and the area was quiet cozy and safe

Room was comfortable. Nice bedding. Fitness room had basics - mat, weights, kettlebells, ball- bike and elliptical machine but I could not get treadmill to work. Hotel situated right next to gas station - a plus for travelers. No nearby restaurant options though.

This is a nice place to stay, I would recommend it to Friends and Family. We had a nice time at the Improv watching Carlos Mancia and eating at El Jardins Taquila Bar on Santana Row.

The next morning, another front desk staff member told me that the reservation was indeed for a twin-bed room, but all such rooms were already booked. Since my son is 16 years old, he’s not used to sharing a bed, and getting good sleep is crucial for his competition. On top of that, the hotel’s facilities were outdated—the air conditioning was so noisy it sounded like thunder, the room faced a busy street and was very loud, the space felt cramped, and the breakfast was below the standard of other Western Plus. We quickly decided to move to another Holiday Inn Express near the airport. Thankfully, the new hotel was much better in every way, and it made us forget about the unpleasant experience we had before.

The next morning, another front desk staff member told me that the reservation was indeed for a twin-bed room, but all such rooms were already booked. Since my son is 16 years old, he’s not used to sharing a bed, and getting good sleep is crucial for his competition. Elevator floor was a bit dirty, but otherwise overall the room was nice and the overall area was convenient. Sometimes the traffic light wasn't though, a couple times trying to turn left we were waiting for a while.

The property was great- nice upgraded amenities (breakfast, coffee), and very friendly staff. This will definitely be my location of choice when I stay in the area.

I love the staff. One receptionist is always so accommodating and helpful. The coffee machine is the best! My only issue is the toilets look a lil beat up and should most definitely be replaced. I have stayed here 2 times already and have another trip soon and looking forward to it!

If you pass the street, you won't notice that there is a hotel in that building, a small building very nice. The surprise is inside that building, a very nice hotel and 5-star staff. The rooms are not so big but very clean and quiet. Excellent breakfast, ok parking space, and a gas station across the road. Also within walking distance, you have a few restaurants a Safeway, and is a quiet and nice neighborhood

The wifi was out for 5 days, housekeeping skipped over my room 2 days, and then walls are so thin i could hear my neighbors tv at 5:45 AM. Everyone was nice but I wouldnt stay here again.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I have stayed at many hotels in this price range that offer complimentary breakfasts and was not expecting the variety of options they offered here. They served Scrambled eggs and sausage links with home style potatoes, waffles, a build your own yogurt bowl station, fruit juices, a coffee maker that grinds fresh beans for each cup and instant oatmeal. I was impressed and it makes one less expense in trying to find a place to eat breakfast. The rooms were clean and spacious with dual pane windows and shutters to block out the light. We will certainly look to stay here again if we ever find ourselves in this part of San Jose again.

when I first read the review for trip advisor some guest said it wasn't clean. When I check in to the hotel. It was very clean and especially the bathroom was clean. I was happy to stay there and will stay again.

This was a wonderful hotel. It's located right off the interstate with easy access to most of the bay area. The breakfast was phenomenal! Best continental breakfast in a hotel I've stayed at for many years. Quick check in, clean, I highly recommend.

I wash disappointed the hot did not open unit 10 am. I would think it would be available at a convenient time for patrons. Overall a great value and good experience

The area was very nice and safe. The elevators are the only thing that seems “old” but it didn’t really matter. Our room was clean and very comfortable.

The staff that we encountered we very friendly. The room was clean compared to more up scale locations I have stayed in. Never used the pool although it was opened. 6 minutes to the San Jose Convention Center (McEnery). The cafe across the street was very delicious). The complimentary breakfast at the hotel was well stocked and delicious. Overall a great stay.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was good. The only thing we didn't like is it was a little noisy on the pool side the building from the street. Overall we thought it was a good price and decent place to stay.

Staff is always professional and super friendly. I’ve been there many times and I always go back.

There was car and motorcycle traffic during the night. The refrigerator made a constant noise throughout the night.

The complimentary breakfast was surprisingly good: There was a big bowl of fresh fruit, eggs, potatoes, and either bacon or sausage, and there was another bowl of fresh strawberries and blueberries for the yogurt. There was a cool coffee maker, and also orange juice & cranberry juice which were all good. Also included was cereal, toast, oranges, a waffle maker, and other breakfast staples. I suggest getting there before the last hour of breakfast to get the best selection. Service was awesome from check in to checkout. I had an issue with the tv remote late at night and the front desk employee came up to my room and changed out the box on my tv and had it working in ten minutes. Every employee was friendly & professional. I highly recommend this motel.

Good to stay

The stay was better than expected. Lots of options for the continental breakfast. My only complaint would be that the room was hot upon arrival. The air conditioner cooled off the room fairly fast, I opened the window to help.

Front desk was very accommodating. Not too far from downtown convention center.

Love the spacious suite. We travel a lot, stay in all types of rooms, but the large suite is like treating ourselves to a special “spacious” night! Perfect!

Very open for anyone to walk up to rooms

We enjoyed the location of our stay. It was quite and felt very secure. I hope the day comes when heating the room does not have to sound as if a jet engine is being used.

The staff are so nice here! My family enjoyed the stay here. Definitely will choose again.
