First time staying at this property, and it wasn’t bad at all. Everything was a thumbs up. The only thing that could have been better, and would have given 5-stars was the comfort of the bed. We always rate our stays more from the comfort of the mattress and pillows. But, it wasn’t as comfy as it looked but not bad at all.:)

Nice location, very cool vibe in the lobby and throughout the hotel. Gym was very nice and the view from the balcony area was nice to enjoy my morning coffee. Only catch is you have to pay $15 a day to park in the hotel parking lot.

We had a change of plans six days before our scheduled stay. When I tried to either cancel our plans for a refund, or if that wasn't possible, change our reservation to a different date, I was told that neither was possible. I was told by the hotel staff that it was Hotels.com's responsibility. Hotels.com reached out repeatedly to work with the hotel but without success. I can not comment on the amenities but it is important that you be aware of their cancellation policies before booking.

I have a restricted diet for health reasons so I did not get the breakfast as the items were "off the menu" for me. I ate in my room. I was told by the front-desk that the "shuttle" apparently only drops off and doesn't do a return trip ? How is that useful ? There is a button on the lightswitch panel marked "Press for Housekeeping", which apparently doesn't actually do anything but there is no signage or indication that you have to ask for it at the front-desk. I get that most hotels are not doing housekeeping everyday now, but that button needs to be covered or there needs to be signage. The outsourced parking is *horrible*. Rather than just pay at the desk, I had to sign up with the third-party parking services company they use and now have an account with them which I did not ask for and can't seem to get rid of. This particular property has some issues that need to be looked at and which I've not experienced at other Alofts.

Beautiful hotel in a great location near the freeway and Levi's Stadium. Incredible lobby with plenty of seating and a bar. Rooms were excellent. Will definitely be back!

It’s out in the middle of nowhere. No restaurants nearby. The restaurant in the hotel has short hours and a very limited menu. The hotel itself is very nice just not enough convenient accommodations.

Room was fine, except it had a bunch of ants. We were going to an event near by, did not have time to change rooms. I notified the front desk, they said they will get rid of them.cam back to the room after event, looked clean, a few hours later they were crawling on me.

There was a flashing light on the ceiling in our room that kept waking us up all night, I think it had to do with the fire alarm system. Trying to sleep in a pitch black room with a bright flashing light is next to impossible

Only grabbed coffee. The body wash and hair products (Dry Bar) excellent. Nice the place has a bar because nothing else is close but as usual with the Bay Area the price for a cocktail is steep LOL. Kind of odd smell in hallways and rooms.

The location, not in a busy area. It was nice and quiet besides the train coming and going. The train when it comes during the day or early morning when I’m still asleep since they do make a loud noise by using their “choo choo horn”. Also, the walls are very thin, I can hear the person on the upper floor walking back and forth or when their using the bathroom and when someone is walking outside our hotel room.

We stayed here after a 49ers game. About a half hour walk to stadium which was nice to avoid parking/traffic. However, after the game, the loud yelling was a bit much. If coming during the week for a business meeting it would be fine. Apparently, I have entered the old lady stage in my life where I dont want to hear partying from my hotel room.

Took an hour longer to get our room. Parking was ful so we were told to park in over flow parking. We were on the 1st floor and were kept up past midnight from people partying at the bar. The phone in our room wouldn't work so we could call the front desk. Went out the next morning and had a parking ticket from your facility saying tgat we weren't supposed to park there.

It was located above the main road so the views were pleasant. The staff were friendly and accommodating. You had to pay for parking but on an app and not conveniently through the room charges. The lobby did not offer enough seating for social groups/gatherings. In the evening They had a musician who still probably needs more lessons. He played poorly but loud so conversations were difficult. We were told he should stop at 9 pm but he kept going so ultimately we broke up our gathering.

We got one of the last rooms available bottom floor and I don’t mind the lobby people talking and having a good time what the problem was that at three in the morning the people on the room on top of us were fighting/stomping their feet yelling and dropping something really heavy sounding like a couple fighting we are givin a number to call the front and none of the options the machine gave us was the front desk if it was they did NOT answer the fighting went on for almost three hours when we checked out no one asked us how the stay was or Anything just said ok when givin the key back over all will never go back

It’s 3/4 star hotel with new construction, nice, clean, competitive price for the location. But with weird design for bed room and bathroom, definitely not conventional style, it could be noisy when someone use bathroom or take bath. Breakfast is ticket system with small fresh cooked sandwich for the ticket and the rest of items might need to pay for, parking lot is big but it’s also need to pay. The price for the hotel could be high or low overnight due to the location is good for business trip or conference hotel purposes. For family trip, might not a good choice. No microwave might be common in California.

We enjoyed our stay here. Very colorful and modern decor and very nice staff. I did have ants in our 5th floor room which surprised me and we had to toss a bunch of snacks we had on the table. I was also disappointed to find i had to pay for parking. Otherwise its great access to Levi Stadium and Great America. The room was comfortable and hotel was quiet.

Stayed 1 night, simple to attend a 9ners game. The only staff interaction was at check in. Room was clean we spent there maybe 10 minutes before the game. Really liked that after the game was over hotel was only a 30minute walk, walking at 9pm felt very safe as there were police officers at every light and security at every parking lot. The only thing that was a little annoying, was that the fire detector was right above the bed and there was a bright light that I could see every few minutes. Mattress was a little too soft, but hotel was very convenient and had all the essentials.

It was good seeing a 49er game. Hotel was comfortable and clean.

The gym was nice and had decent equipment. There is also a outdoor pool. Parking is a nightmare. You have to pay via a app and I have no idea how much we paid as there is no information on the app nor are the parking rates posted anywhere. The hotel is about 1.5 miles from Levi stadium which is to walking distance and there are sidewalks. The hotel is loud with road traffic and plane traffic but is doable. Id recommend this hotel if you are going to a game or traveling alone.

The day was excellent overall. I would only say that the pillows were not very firm. But the bedding was clean and comfortable.

The hotel wouldve been nice but the lobby was very loud full of drunks. The lights didnt all work, the sink was dirty when i walked in. I could hear the guest yelling from my room on the first floor late into the night.

The hotel is just fine; however, between the freeway, the trains that start rolling through at zero dark hundred, and SJC aircraft, this may not be for anyone who needs quiet to sleep.

When we first received our room it was not ready. We had to call front desk and switch rooms. The new room was made up but the wiring of the lights was messed up. We had to use the bathroom in pitch dark using cell phone light.

Our fridge was not cold, so I requested another one and that our food be transferred to the new fridge. When we returned for the night, it was not communicated that our food was taken to the employee fridge, and we didn't know when the food was out in there, so we had to throw the food out. The new fridge also wasn't plugged in, so it was hot. also, the room didn't have enough lighting. There is also no light in the shower area, so it seems like you were taking a shower in the dark. My husband was sleeping in the bed, and I wanted to put my makeup on in a dimly lit bathroom to avoid all the lights being turned on, since you could only access the bathroom light by the master switch that turns on all the lights. Also, didn't appreciate that you had to pay for parking when you're spending over $200 for 1 night. As far as friendliness and cleanliness, A+. Very nice staff, and the hotel was very clean and smelled new.

Very clean and safe stay in San Jose. Extremely comfortable and nice. Had an amazing night of sleep.

Just a very nice property.

I checked in for a baseball tournament for my son and left pretty fast after checking in and didn’t get back until 1030 at night and the next morning all our items were covered in ants and the toilet took 20-30 minutes to flush after you flushed it. Also the bathroom door was broken.

I really like it, but the only issue I have is they didn’t have a smart TV

This is the second time we have gone to a game and stayed at Aloft. It’s a great price and walking distance (about a mile) to the game. Lots of people stay here and the lobby energy is always high and fun. Staff is friendly and the hotel is clean. I love that you can get drinks, food and snacks in the lobby.

The room was nice but there were ants everywhere. We had ants in our suitcase, toiletries, and our jackets.

I was in town for the 49ers game and stayed here. The bar and lounge area was pretty cool to people watch and met some cool people. All employees were very nice. The room was a room. A little echoey but it served its purpose. Within walking distance to Levi’s Stadium and Great America if you are staying for that.

The rooms were not well taken care of, got locked out twice due to a malfunction and bathroom door wasn’t secure. Overall, it’s a great place to stay for a Niner game, nice view from the bar patio!

I arrived at midnight to checkin and someone else is here having a problem with their reservation and is taking a very long time to check in. I’ve been waiting 15-20 minutes for my turn to check in. Frustrating because I have an early meeting at work and I need to get to sleep

Overall, the property was very nice. The only downside is that there was a game at the stadium and traffic was very bad. We could not get to the hotel because all the roads were blocked. Once we were able to find someone to ask, they told us where to go and that we had to have our room key to get past the roadblock. it was very inconvenient.

Upon arrival in the room, the bathroom lights did not work. We asked for them to be looked at and left for two hours. We returned with nothing done, so we asked again, and this time after about 30 minutes, the lights for the entire floor go out for ten seconds, as the staff just lazily flips the breaker with no warning, and then bangs on all doors saying "someone's power wasn't working" instead of paying attention to whose power was broken. And finally, we left to get food, set our unfinished pizza back in the box and onto the desk and went out for the evening. Upon return a few hours later, ants had come through the window (on the THIRD FLOOR) and claimed the food. It was a MASSIVE line of ants too. The staff seemed like they'd rather you not ask them anything, and were not approachable at all.

I spoke with a young lady by the name of Isabel and she really helped me out. I travelled here to celebrate my chosen sister(s) BDay. I haven’t stayed in an Aloft in some years but it brought back memories to the first one I stayed in. Honestly I really appreciate the hospitality Isabel provided. And she clarified some incorrect info that was given by a rep when I called on my way from LA to Santa Clara. Kudos to her! Give her a raise!

Dislike the parking fee. $15 to park in your parking lot as well as on the street in front when we already pay a nightly fee and multiple other taxes and fees. Ridiculous as you don't add any security. Suggestion would be to remove all carpeting, carpet was gross.

Not overly close to dining, walking distance to Levi’s - it’s about 10 mins further than the ride share parking lot. The room was a little musty upon arrival, but the ac solved that after a short time. There is a very early train that blows its whistle very loudly, but nothing can be done about that.

We were led to understand that there was a small store for snacks. Actually it was a table with chips and candy for sale. Dining was very limited. the room was tiny but comfortable. You could hear the neighbors through the walls. Breakfast was again a table with very limited items all for sale. We will not be staying here again.

This was a weekend stay to visit San Jose. It was a great hotel, with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The room and the lobby were very clean and comfortable.

Check in was a breeze. The rooms are so clean and spacious. The bar was lovely and some us even played a game of pool. There is breakfast to purchase. A great price for a beautiful hotel.
