Beautiful rooms and stunning pool, would stay here again

Location by the freeway and mall across the street has good options for eating. Would be nice to have some kind of small breakfast snacks for the price. The air conditioner was loud.

The hotel room was very clean and has newer furniture. Parking was very full. We arrived a little late and were told only downstairs room is available. We got a room that is wheelchair accessible. We had no use of that, shower water was everywhere because of the design. The experience would be a lot better if we could get the higher level room.

Very Spacious! Clean different and a lot of seating area. My only complain wish it was in a different location.

This is a hotel I visit occasionally, and I would describe it as a place where one can enjoy a generally convenient stay.

There were bugs in the pillows sheets and towels. I noticed them too late to move.

Nothing at all. This is not a 4 star hotel and someone in booking needs to be accountable for this rating that is very deceitful. Everything is run-down and just felt un clean, bathroom felt like a motel and not a 4 star hotel. Really not worth the amount they charge for a night. Nothing is at is seems in the photos

Breakfast menu is not that great

Multiple vehicle break ins overnight. Hotel has no security cameras as they state that the parking lot is a shared lot with Applebee's. They also have no security guards on duty to help prevent break ins. They state that the hotel does not officially offer parking. That it is public parking only. Hotel and manager on duty made no attempt to offer accommodations. Only gave a general email address. To file a complaint.

It was convenient location for one night of our stay in Cupertino.

The room’s bathroom has someone hair all over the bathtub and the floor was sticky but from the moment we checked in they have to move us ti 3 different rooms due to different issues so we were tired to keep complaining and moving around The parking lot was big and easy to park but not security and open to anyone so it wasn’t too safe

Room was very clean and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. It was quiet and I couldn’t hear any street noise inside. I like the room cool, and like white noise from the fan. The fan stayed on all night which was amazing! Other hotels have it where the fan goes off and on which wakes me up at night - I slept great. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect for what I needed. Will definitely stay again when I come back to this area.

Tv has no upgrades so you’re limited to just a handful of channels. Lights don’t all work Pillows are the ones where your head is basically on the mattress. The area is decent and seemed safe. Ultimately fine for a night or so. Room is large and has plenty of space. Bathroom also large. But no lights on mirror and found it dark when applying make up.

Another issue was the strong scent in the room. It seemed like a heavy air freshener had been used, and the smell was so overpowering that it actually irritated my nose and made the room uncomfortable to stay in for long periods. I hope the hotel can pay closer attention to cleanliness and avoid using such strong fragrances in the rooms, as it would make the stay much more pleasant for guests

They were very nice to our little dog. Appreciated. Like the water (for us humans) available in the lobby. Assuming it's policy- but would have loved linings on the trash cans. And my daughter wasn't thrilled with the "cloudy water." But all minor issues.

Both Aloft and Travelocity have refused a refund because of their policy; each claiming the other is the only one who can help. Choosing to be gracious hosts would cost Aloft nothing and get a chunk of good will for free, but no. Policy. No more Marriott properties for me. And the end of Travelocity/Expedia apps for me too.

Last time we stayed we had complimentary breakfast and that was the reason that we booked this hotel. Felt like a bait and switch since we just stayed at the hotel recently. Won't be staying here again.

I don’t usually leave reviews but felt I needed to here. I stayed for two nights with my family. The staff was very nice and responsive to things they could assist with. The hotel is just old and tired. I have stayed at lovely updated Aloft hotels. This was clearly a take over of an old hotel without much renovation. Windows are thin and allow much of the road and traffic noise through all night. The fixtures are old and most of the electrical outlets and usb charges did not work. The sink water was oddly cloudy and smelled not great so I used bottled water for brushing my teeth. The towels were thin and small. The fitted sheets on the beds were too small and the sheet would ride up and get off the edge of the mattress during the night. Also, the wi-fi did not work well. The first floor wifi would not work so patrons had to use the lounge wifi, which was ok. but the gym was in the second floor and the lower floor wifi did not work up there. This may sound like trivial stuff but I will not stay at this hotel again. The in-shower shampoo and conditioner were nice but the low water pressure was lame. The shower water was nicely hot.

Clean, well-appointed room. Good location if you have a car and want to explore the South Bay Area. Right by the 280 freeway but quiet. Nice clean pool area. Breakfast was extra so we did not try it. Good value, would stay again.

It was nicely renovated and modern. My sister went to use the restroom in our room and the door got stuck. It was clear it had happened many times before based on the wear marks on the door handle and the locking mechanism itself. When I called down to the front desk the associate confirmed it was an issue as reported previously. It took 45 minutes to get her out of the restroom with a crow bar. If it was a known issue why have guests stay in that particular room?

I thought the property was a bit outdated, so I was wondering if it was listed as another property before becoming part of Marriott Bonvoy. The pool and hot tub are on the larger size around here with seating around the pool, probably that was the only thing more unique than other nearby hotels.

This one has chunks of the baseboards missing in the room & in the hallway. My bathroom door was clearly repaired numerous chunks being taken out of it somehow and

Kids loved it I loved it! Very beautiful upscale resort style family friendly joyous staff and fresh popcorn in lobby along with a bar and pool table near poolside. Definitely would recommend and will be back.

This place is dirty and has hair on mattress and the mattresses are not fully covered with sheets.

This place was very convenient to downtown and the freeway. There was a very good selection of places to eat in the area. There was mainly Japanese food, but I had no problem with that. I love Japanese food. I recommend Tomisushi Restaurant.

Aloft San Jose Cupertino. Provided very basic accommodations and a subpar breakfast. While the room was clean, the hotel is in need of upgrades in many areas, including the flooring that would catch the heal of my shoes. The hotel staff were available to answer questions but not particularly friendly. The hotel was lackluster in every way which extended to the lack of mirrors in the room.

Check in was nice and easy once in the room not enough towels and no linens on the sofa bed and the bathroom was dirty so we got Clorox wipes and cleaned it ourselves and every time you go out to your car people in the lot smoking weed and leaning on your car. Decent area I guess it’s because the hotel shares parking with two restaurants no hotel parking

Got to the hotel early requested an early check in, I did call 2 weeks prior for this accommodation. My family showed up at 2:30 and was checked into their same accommodation as mine our room wasn’t ready till 3:15. Upon entry sheet and bedding had blood stains on it went to the front desk and was given new sheets to put on. The cushions in the pool area big holes in them and very run down along with cabana curtains so dirty and holes everywhere. Lastly car window parked outside was broken .. The picture didn’t match the expectations were high base med them.

Tv was too old not been conacting with anything pool hours was too short because if you spend whole day out you really need relaxing in night but they close 10pm so not able to use

It was a good hotel for a quick trip.

The room smelled like burning plastic, and while we asked for it to be checked by maintenance, that did not happen to our knowledge. We asked if we could change rooms, and were brushed off. The AC unit was outrageously loud, and you could hear what I assume was the elevator. It was overall crappy.

Our Aloft San Jose stay was amazing. We had a very comfortable bed with sofa and the room was spacious. It was very clean and updated. Breakfast was complete with protein and they even had rice! The common areas were also very aesthetically appealing. Most importantly, it was convenient to downtown. Thank you Aloft San Jose!

We really liked this place. We stayed a few nights and if the room would have been available for one more night we would have stayed again. The pool, hot tub and hotel bar was nice and pretty lively. Our room was super quiet and comfortable. There’s a little shop in the lobby with snacks and other stuff to buy or rent. Right next to an Applebees which was also convenient. We would stay here again

The shower towels are stored hanging inches from the toilet bowl. This is not sanitary. The sheets are scratchy. The pillows are not full. The room was clean and the stay was adequate for one night.

It was great. The people are friendly, the area is quite, nice hotel. The only downside is the hallway it was a bit dark, i do understand the artisitic design of it but it was too dark n a bit scary especially for children. Would've like more towels had to get them from house keeping. Would stay again.

There lighting in the hallway that they think is cool, is unsafe to people with visual and/or walking impairments and creates tripping hazards because it is uneven. The parking is not well defined.

Not enough dining

This is always a good hotel to stay at. I like the place across the street and the pool is great though I didn't go into it this time since I didn't have a suit. Good bar too.

Bar tender was really welcoming and fun. Clean facility and just easy all around from beginning to end. Would stay again.

Our daughter plays softball at SJSU and we travel with our two dogs. We’ve tried a few other hotels, but keep coming back here. We love the location, the rooms are clean and comfortable, there’s a grass area in the back for our dogs. It’s a win-win for our needs! We’ll be back! I would like a little more water pressure in the shower.

Location to Japanese grocery store, good size room, quiet, and clean. Staff was friendly, efficient and helpful. Facilities are looking dated; I preferred how the hotel was styled earlier with dark wood and plush furnishings; currently white with a more modern style.

It’s a lovely hotel with a very friendly staff. It’s conveniently located, right off 280, and close enough to Santana Row.

The location, the comfort. Cost of room was pricey, much more than other similar hotels. House cleaning starts early and you can hear them. My reasoning - if you are paying a lot of money for a room, then then hotel should be considerate and allow their guests to sleep in without being bothered by house cleaning.

It was a good stay. I enjoyed my time
