Reviews
The Signature Hotel is a conveniently located hotel with clean, recently renovated rooms. However, it is undergoing construction, which results in limited parking and no elevator access. The hotel is in an area with a high homeless population, and some guests have reported feeling unsafe.

The staff was super friendly and willing to help out if you need anything.

The room was clean, but small and the walls were so thin that you could hear everything! The TV seemed to be stuck in demo mode so you had to deal with pop ups. The wifi was decent although it slowed down in the mornings. The breakfast was basic but free!

I wouldn’t call the staff all that helpful or warm. They were technically present but not too useful. The smell of weed coming from the hotel room next to ours bled into our room. I’d forgive them for not noticing if not for the fact that I was the room next door to the front lobby. The made noise all night, or at least from 12a-5a. I tried calling the front desk but the phone wasn’t working. The room sounded like it had 8 or so people partying hard. No help. All this next door their front lobby where they sat. Doing nothing.

I booked two rooms for two nights and paid half of the total cost two months in advance. Upon arrival, I paid the remaining balance, only to be told after a lengthy discussion that the hotel claimed they had no record of my original payment. Despite arriving well after check-in time, neither room was ready. When we finally got access to the rooms, the cleanliness was unacceptable. One room had a dirty toilet, and both showers were clearly not cleaned properly. The second day was even worse. We were told one of our rooms had to be moved because a larger group was arriving and the hotel wanted to accommodate them instead. After packing all of our belongings and moving, we discovered the new room had not been cleaned at all. The receptionist then told us to return to our original room and assured us we would not be asked to move again. Less than an hour later, we were told to move yet again. To make matters worse, staff demanded that we pay the first half of our booking again, despite it having been paid two months earlier. The entire experience was disorganized, unprofessional, and incredibly frustrating. We booked for two nights but could only tolerate staying for one. Poor cleanliness, terrible customer service, and a very unpleasant area. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Liked that there was an enclosed garage and is a lot smaller than in pictures but still manageable.

the room was clean, the bathroom was clean. The bed was fine and the chair was okay. I was getting what I paid for.

Property overall is great! Parking is included in. However, I asked the manager if I could park the car for a giants game and he said OK. But when I left, he said I would have to pay for an extra day which is fine I understand, but it was misleading.
- 4/5
Breakfast doesn’t have many options
- 5/5
Everything was good over all the only thing i would change is the parking, if you don’t get there early or if theres too many cars you might have a little of dificultes.

They did a good job renovating this older hotel, it was pretty clean for the most part. There were some moldy areas in my room that got cleaned up so the staff is definitely attentive. The housekeeping did a good job restocking towels/making beds. The breakfast offered is nothing grand, just some toast or a muffin and coffee, so it should really be advertised as snacks versus a meal. Nonetheless, it was a nice gesture. The butter was left at room temperature so they should look into that. If you have a quick stay, it is not a bad place, but if you are looking for something more, then this is not the option. I was comfortable with my stay overall.
- 5/5
Really enjoyed our stay. Location was great and rooms were well equipped. The staff was super helpful with all questions and requests.
- 5/5
I stayed for almost a week and they came to clean every day, it was so nice! I will say though - the vending machine is complicated, so it's best to just go buy your waters/snacks else where before you get to the hotel. Across the street is a cute cafe to get breakfast from. I will say though - one of the days, the cleaners kept my window open and while I was on the top floor ... I was a little scared there would be bugs crawling in (please remember to close the window next time! There is no mesh screen on the windows lol)
- 5/5
Great location, good price, good rooms, all you need. Great coffee places and restaurants around, easy to go everywhere from there. Personell very friendly too
- 3/5
Location is a nice walk to Oracle Park, nothing much around it. Parking is limited. Room was tiny but clean
- 4/5
The hotel was clean, but there was a lot of homeless people outside.
- 1/5
Pictures are gaslighting. Horrible not worth the money. Limited parking with a $40 parking fee. Family room not worth the price. Worst continental breakfast. I would NEVER recommend this hotel not even to my worst enemy.
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable
- 3/5
Bathroom wouldn’t close all the way. There was obvious burn marks in the window curtains. When we had to go take a shower, there was no shampoo. The mini fridge doesn’t work would keep nothing cold.

It is not a 3 star hotel, probably should be 1.

- 4/5
Parking was good, and breakfast was very basic.
- 4/5
The best part of this hotel was it had a triple bunk bed so all 5 of my kids had a bed to sleep on. The place was good. The breakfast was pretty weak, just toast and cereal, but the hot chocolate machine was nice. For the price and location, it was good.
- 5/5
didn't drive didn't go to the pool, bed and room were very clean.

Nice Stay
- 4/5
The hotel recently went through a renovation and for the most part everything was great. The one thing that worried is the textured wall in the shower. It was clean, or appeared clean, but the texture will make it VERY hard to clean.
- 4/5
clean and not to bad of an area for S.F. the breakfast is toast and cereal not anything special but price is GREAT!
- 5/5
This place is great, great location, great staff, great rooms. Probably my favorite place to stay in SF for a great price. I have no complaints
- 5/5
And here, can you just do that? The staff was very professional. And when had a concern was handled in a timely manner And had breakfast in the morning, which was convenient I didn't like the smell of the room, but it's not the hotel's fault I think the last 10 minutes. We're smoking in their room, and this mouse stayed in, but they took care of it right away

Towel were wet . Parking charge expensive.

Room was clean and comfortable. Very quiet. Excellent rates. Sketchy neighborhood, unfortunately.
- 5/5
Ac was good, locations n was great, parking is fist come first serve so don't reserve based on that only, plenty of options for that within a mile though, quiet spot, great brekkie and all that. This spot really helped us enjoy san francisco and have a home base spot. Affordable and flexible.

It's close to the club area in SF, and within walking distance of union square (about half an hour). The bedsheets were dirty. When we asked for new sheets, the front desk said the sheets are locked in a room and they don't have the key and have to wait for cleaning staff the next day. We had to ask 3 times for them to finally bring new sheets. When we asked them to switch our room, they said they were fully booked despite having rooms available online for half the price we paid. The room was very small, the lighting was like a hospital, and the walls were so thin we could hear the lady down the hall yelling on the phone all night. The "breakfast" was some bread slices, convenience store cupcakes, and coffee from a broken coffee machine.
- 3/5
Room stank of cleaning agent to mask bad odors. Shower had great water pressure and temperature. Bed was clean and comfortable.
- 1/5
This was a horrible place to stay. You won’t get any sleep without earplugs because of the noise. Expedia was also not helpful in resolving the issue, so I won’t be using this platform again.
- 1.5/5
you have to pay for parking and if you leave and come back, you don’t have a space available for you because they overfill their parking

Staff was polite, space for luggage before check in. Continental Breakfast okay except coffee, Rooms very clean and nice. Mattress and pillows comfy and clean. Very steep and narrow stairs, very dangerous, no elevator, entrance to go up to room not so attractive, need to pass through messy laundry room, Costco bottle water sold for $2 a bit pricey. Should be mentioned that it is a continental breakfast, coffee had no flavor.

The floors are uneven and creaky. The wallpaper is ripping off of the walls. The grout in the bathroom is disgusting and the hot water does not work. We were told to let the water run for 10 minutes and then check it. There are sewer lines in the garage just taped up with duct tape which is also where they store all of the clean linen. So gross!!!the list goes on. We ended up leaving. I couldn’t imagine trying to sleep in those beds.

Worse experience ever! The room we booked was located in the parking garage. When you open the door you are literally 3-4 ft away from a parked car. The room literally looked like a storage room that was converted into a room. The walls was filthy and there is a drainage hole near the bunk beds. The pictures are deceiving. The moment we saw the room and there was no parking when we got there since there is limited parking. We decided to leave right away and requested for refund. We booked two nights but was only refunded for one night instead of two, but they should have refunded for both nights. I have never experience paying for a hotel and the room being right next to parking garage! Don’t waste your money staying at this place.

Middling: The room felt kind of small for a single bed, and the chair could have been more substantial. Next time, I think I will get a two bed room, which was the same rate. Needs Improvement: There is a $30 fee for using the gated garage. I was fine with it considering the neighborhood, but this should be more explicit in the Expedia description and in the signage (not an 8x9 printout among 8 other 8x9 printouts). Apparently, my Expedia email counts as “a reciept”, thus they felt justified in not providing one when I asked.

After the first night, we were upgraded to a larger room, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, that room was located right next to the parking lot, and the walls were very thin—we could hear almost every sound from outside. That said, the staff were friendly, understanding, and did their best to accommodate us, which we truly appreciated.

The parking was the worst, took over 2 hour to find a some where to park. I just gave up and decided to drive the 3 hours back home. It honestly ruined my mini vacation. I don't get a lot of vacation do to finical and my job. The front desk was no help. When I asked about parking they were rude. Told a location but there not no parking. Even there was parking, it was over 20 minutes walk back to the hotel. I do not recommend this hotel.

The walls are pretty thin so make sure you're not next to (or across the hall from) a bunch of night owls. The elevator was out and I had to walk up 3 flights with luggage which was annoying. But I just needed the room for an overnight trip and it was the right price, clean in the right location. If I had known there would've been a fridge and microwave I might've bought some items for later.

Third or fourth time staying at this property and each time I leave I continued to be amazed at how professional and kind the staff are, how spotless the rooms are, and how quiet the common areas were. The hotel also offers a light breakfast with offerings of cereal, toast, pastries, two options for juice, many coffee espresso choices, yogurts and fresh fruit, along with oatmeal that is complimentary from 7am to 10am. There is parking on site but we didn’t need to use it. We were informed there was no working Elevator. Keep this in mind if someone in your party requires one that this may not be the property for them. Rooms do run small but there are larger accommodations on the top floor meant for families or large parties.

The property is in a poor location. In the daylight doesn’t feel too scary but at night it doesn’t feel like a safe place to be outside or walking around. Front desk was no where to be two separate times as we were trying to park in the garage & check in. Called to try and get into the building and saw front desk decline the call as I was actively trying to get into the hotel. Stains on walls in the room & bathroom. Rust on shower floor. Beds were fine, nothing great. And to top it off they gave away our parking spot we paid for and made us park in the middle of the garage, just to then wake us up TWO TIMES in the middle of the night to make us move our car. Once at 4am and the other at 7am. Ridiculous, we absolutely deserve our money back for parking at the very least.
- 5/5
The room was very spacious and also had free coffee machine and iron. I really enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was also good enough for me. The staff were very cooeprative. Its also not far from public transport. The street of the hotel itself is relatively better. But if you walk from here to Moscone west, you will get to cross 6th street on the way and the intersection has a lot of homeless people. Also the wifi was not very good.

Great place to stay for those weekend trips to the City. Central location, across the street from Sight Glass coffee, close to Folsom Street and the Mission isn't far either. Rooms were clean, comfy and updated. Can't say anything really negative about this cool little SOMA hotel. Definitely will book again.

I liked that the parking was gated & that the hotel had parking. The location was close by to bill graham & midway for concerts. I booked this hotel primarily because it offered free breakfast & cheap parking. I didn’t like how small the rooms were, only one towel in the room, no microwave, fridge didn’t work, unclear directions on if in & out privileges, the “breakfast” was extremely minimal only Cheerios & super cheap pastries, the room didn’t feel too clean, no elevator, the photos on the site make it look much nicer then how it really looks in person, they say parking is guaranteed with every reservation however if you don’t fight for it it’s not guaranteed & at night it’s not a good location. The closest parking garage is under a bridge down the street in a homeless area. Just disappointing overall

I HAD TO PAY THE HOTEL $30.- for parking my car overnight. The rooms look NOTHING LIKE the pictures, there was NO mention that the elevator was not working in the property. Poor room conditions, there was NO breakfast… a couple of activia yogurts. Cheerios and NO milk, bread and butter. Very disappointing that Expedia doesn’t check out the hotel before renting it out.

First off the elevator is still not working as of mid October 2025 so expect to walk up their very narrow steep steps up to your floor. The hot water took 10+ mins to become warm every time i tried to take a shower… they don’t let food delivery go up so you have to walk up and down said raggedy steps every time you get food delivered if you do so… air conditioning unit isn’t very efficient but gets the job done. Area is rough but that’s out of their control.

Room was small. Got what I paid for. I chose this space for the parking and the lot was “full” when I arrived. I was told the 6th and Folsom paid parking lot was available but it was blocked due to construction zone. Found this out late and SF street parking is nightmare around there. Parked in yellow until 7am. Better communication and alternate parking options would’ve been appreciated

The elevator was broken and we needed to use the stairs, which were dangerously narrow and curved. When we arrived a “friend” of the staff was working the front desk, but he was clearly there to hang out with his case of beer. I felt uncomfortable giving him my credit card and car keys for the parking.

Booked this hotel for a quick over night and because it had parking in the photo. Got there to find out the parking was limited and we had to find a place to park on the street. The closest parking was 3 blocks away and the area was extremely sketchy. Wasn’t about to walk those 3 blocks at night. Canceled the room and went else where. Still waiting to see if we can get a refund or not on that room but it wasn’t worth walking the streets for that.

AC unit worked great. If the hotel told me they were under renovations. I probably would t have stayed. At 6 AM they were drilling and there was paint and other construction materials all over the place. Also, the stairs they just put in at not the correct height. Which makes you trip and fall.

It was perfect location, and I had a small room. The hotel has seen better days, but not a bad option for a budget hotel.

The room was a little stuffy, ventilation and air circulation could be better but it's an old building so not much can be done about it.

No elevators, most things were not working correctly
- 3/5
No working elevator. Very limited on site parking. We checked in late, the parking was full for the night, and had to find a paid parking lot and take Lyft back to the hotel. Also located in a pretty bad area. You would not want to walk around near the hotel at night.

The staff were welcoming, competent and accommodating, and the property was exceptionally clean. The location is excellent, with many attractions, restaurants and shops within walking distance. Breakfast each morning was a nice touch. Parking is limited, but overall this hotel provided a comfortable stay. Would book again

Almost everything. The elevator was broken, the room was dark, dirty and musty. Wi-Fi was virtually non-existent and the cleanliness of the room was what I would expect from a 1 star motel.
- 2/5
Rooms ok, have been updated. Problem was noise all through the night. Also if you park, your car may be blocked by other cars and it would take some work to get it out in the morning.

The location was interesting, the rooms were unique and comfortable, we had to park around the corner but we enjoyed walking the San Fran city streets with the kids, and stopped at a cool pizza joint on the way to our room.

Everything. There’s a funny smell like b/o in the front desk. The rooms were too small and it smelled weird and musty as soon as you get in. Nothing felt really clean. Towels were ripped and had some sort of red/blood stain. Walls had dirty stains.
- 3/5
Also, one night our room key wouldn’t work so we were locked out of the hotel in a sketchy area. This felt quite unsafe.

The area of the hotel is convenient to walkable to other areas, it’s about a 30 min walk to Oracle Park. There is parking at the hotel but there may be limited in/outs because space is limited. It was good hotel for a short stay.

Excellent stay for our party of 6. Elevator broken and area a couple of blocks away is not great but we felt safe. We only walked during day and used uber mostly. Walked to oracle park. Other destinations close so we could see a lot in our 5 days in SF.

When we arrived, we were told the garage is full, but there is parking on 6th st and Folsom and that it's just a block away. Its not a block away. Also, there was a sign stating that they were installing a new elevator so please use the stairs. The steep 2 foot steps in a narrow stairway. Then, we get to our room, and it smells musty and feels damp. I went to open the windows, there are no screens and there are pigeons making a home in the air conditioner. You can't make this $#!# up!! We decided it was time to go out for a bit and take a breather. After, we parked my car in the $70 a night, sketchy parking lot with no security that they "recommended" and walked back to the hotel for the night just to also find out that the shower doesn't drain. It almost overflowed onto the bathroom floor. When we voiced our concerns, about everything, all we got was, "sorry for the inconvenience". "We will have the shower fixed tomorrow." So, my husband werd in a pool of dirty water. See picture. Needless to say, we won't be back. I could have stayed at a Hilton with better service and parking, if I had known I was going to get this kind of service and then have to spend over $140 just in parking fees alone.

I appreciate the "effort," offer affordable accommodations in the heart of the city, and try and be trendy. But... Having to walk through a parking garage to get to one's room is a bit of a put off. A parking garage, by the way, supposedly available for guest use, but so filled with cars covered in dust, it is obvious the hotel is using it as a second source of income. Or climbing stairs to the third floor in a staircase to narrow to negotiate a suitcase. Or, finding a shower drain so clogged with hair it fills up like a bathtub... and left over shampoo bottles from previous guest.... A little professionalism wouldn't go a miss.

As for the cons, the AC unit seemed a bit finicky and it blows directly on you when you're sleeping, some may like this and some may not. The pillows were hard and quite large. It's not that bad if you're a side sleeper but if you sleep on your back then just ditch the pillows altogether. Overall, I would definitely come here again.

Do not go here. Room had a weird smell ( like cat urine), bathroom was dirty, the mini fridge light flickered off and on constantly. The rug had yellow and red stains and when we reported the condition to the management, our concerns were dismissed and not addressed at all.

I only stayed for one night in SF, so I thought I didn’t really care much about where I stayed. I only wanted to get some sleep and take a shower. Turns out, I couldn’t get it with this hotel. The water pressure was terrible. I could only get a thin stream of cold water out of the sink to brush my teeth, and I couldn’t get the shower to work at all. The room was dirty. There was no real window—the window behind the curtain led to some technical room, not to the street. I surely do not recommend this hotel. It annoyed me enough to leave a negative review, something I don’t usually do.

This is the WORST hotel I've ever stayed at, we were in and out. The toilet didn't work, no elevator, no parking. When we told them the toilet wasn't working they said they had no other rooms and we could not get a refund. The managers came into our room and offered no solution and they also smelled as bad as their rooms. Poor hygiene all around. DO NOT STAY HERE.
- 5/5
What or any issues that may be experienced are will/would be promptly resolved to the guest's complete satisfaction, e.g., the people in the room above my room were "heavy walkers" and staff was very gracious in resolving the issue. In addition the staff are extremely helpful, courteous and friendly!
- 3/5
We liked the hotel in the inside, however the water pressure in room 315 sucked. We had no water pressure and it was hard for flushing the toilet, but primarily for taking a shower, we almost had to push ourselves against the shower wall to get some water spraying on our body. They're in project of building or renovating an elevator, so it was hard to go up and down through the stairs, especially when we were given a third floor room.

Close to the Giants stadium for an overnight stay and easy Lyft ride over.
- 5/5
cute vibe, friendly staff
- 2/5
Room was basic. Didn’t appear to be dirty. Heavy smell of pine-sol/cleaners and stale air. Tv remote doesn’t work to turn on tv and some buttons didn’t work well. We had to get up to turn it off and on. Outlets with usb did not work. Had to have a wall adapter delivered to charge devices. Had to call the receptionist from my cell because the room phone doesn’t work. Basically an ok place if you just need a place to sleep. Nothing special here. Photos on website obviously edited. Looks like they are doing renovations so hopefully things are fixed and improved.
- 4/5
The room was good. They provide secure parking. Breakfast is very basic. Staff are friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Only complaint is that the elevator was under construction, so we had to use the stairs
- 1/5
I forgot it is so close to 6th and 7th street, which are not the cleanest in SOMA But i was met with non operational elevator, barely warm hot water in the shower, dirty walls and armchairs and absolute filthy state of the carpet.
- 5/5
Room was clean, very modern
- 4/5

- 2/5
No elevator. Expensive parking. Parking very small area inconsistent. Microwave in hallway. Dirty rooms. Hair in shower. Pair of used socks under bed. Limited breakfast
- 5/5
Great space for large groups. Very nice! Parking was easy as long as we got in early. Breakfast hits! Definitely staying here again!
- 2/5
Service was very friendly and easy to check in/out and get parking— the downfall of the stay was the cleanliness, our rooms shower was dirty, the toilet barely flushed, there was hair of previous guests on the bathroom floor, the hallways had open closets and janitorial stuff out. Besides that, the pillows were absolutely the worst pillows I’ve ever used and rooms are not noise canceling at all, you can hear everything on the street and the conversation of the people across from you in the hall.
- 4/5
Paid parking was interesting as it was gated for security, which was nice, however, it they constantly moving cars around to fit everyone in, and cars had to be moved to get the back one out. Staff was friendly and very helpful.
- 4/5
The staff were very friendly! They have an inclosed parking option attached which was really nice! Recently remodeled! The stairs were a little wild but they are building an elevator! And the beds/pillows were a little uncomfortable. Overall a really decent price for the location and what you get!
- 5/5
Very clean rooms , staff was great will be re booking for future trips !
- 2/5
The photos on the website don’t show the reality of the hotel.
- 2/5
Stayed in room the family room 102 .. which I thought would be great for our group, but the access was in the garage with people parking right next to the door. Definitely make sure you don’t get 101 or 102 if you stay here. Unless you want to feel like a stowaway… everyone packing up their cars and being at street level you could hear everything.. possibly the worst rest at a hotel. I don’t get it. The room was nice and all but the garage situation was just embarrassing and lame
- 5/5
Clean, quiet, and friendly staff
- 3/5
Had to Pay $30 extra to be able to Park inside their parking lot. And you had to leave them your car keys so they can move the car for someone else to leave or move there car. Breakfast sucked. But the rooms were just ok. Could've been better for the price i payed for that room…
- 1/5
Actually disgusting. The bathroom is full of mold, stairs are SO steep. Hallways dirty. Brown stuff on the white table in our room so I assumed it was a stain and went to wipe it and it came off. Got woken up at 7am to drilling in the wall next to us. They’re probably paying for high reviews, this place is not worth the cheap price. You’re better just paying somewhere more expensive. Wouldn’t even pay 20 dollars to stay here.
- 5/5
Amazing me and my friends loved it.Every staff member was so sweet. They made my birthday trip an amazing stay.
- 5/5
A family getaway to a baseball game and a couple of days in the city good location for us a bit noisy upstairs, but it was good
- 3/5
Hotel under construction. No working elevator. You had to use the stairwells in the back of the parking garage. One WAY to steep for luggage and the other dirty and dingy. Also found someone’s used bar soap in my shower…
- 5/5
Convenient
- 2/5
Advertisement said a continental breakfast was included, the actual breakfast offered was very poor not even closed to a continental breakfast. I payed $30 per day for parking lot, I had to leave my car key with the attendant because the space is very limited and cars had to be moved to be able for other cars to get out of the parking lot. I didn’t like the fact of them driving my car and holding to my car key over night.
- 4/5
Friendly service personel. Breakfest could be improoved since juice machine does not function. Elevator does not work
- 3/5
I’m genuinely surprised by the property’s maintenance after my recent visit. About a year ago, I used to stay here, and the rooms were cleaner, fresher, and the housekeeping was better. I was livid all weekend that my hot water didn’t work well and the pressure to the shower head was weak. The only thing I thought was convenient was the parking. I don’t think I’ll be staying here next SF trip I have which is a bummer.
- 3/5
They did not disclose that they are rebuilding an elevator and we had to climb very steep narrow stairs to access the 3rd floor.
- 5/5
Great place to stay on a budget. Excellent staff.
- 4/5
Hotel was nice but it took (literally) over 5 minutes for hot water in the shower.
- 3/5
The building itself is of inconvenient quality--the stairs are very steep and thin (not a lot of surface/foot room) which is very unsafe to climb with luggage, and the elevator was broken the entire duration of the stay. The toilets require multiple attempts to flush, and hardly any water comes out of the shower head and the pressure is puny. The windows face directly into other hotel rooms. However the furniture they provided was surprisingly comfortable, more-so than my home furniture, and someone came in to very neatly make the beds and take out trash every day, and replaced towels every other day, so it was really nice coming back to a very comfortable and clean space every night, and they respected where all of our personal belongings were placed.
- 5/5
The room was very clean, the bathroom was pretty & modern. The service was great! I just didnt like the area, too many homeless around & I felt a little unsafe walking outside.
- 5/5
The Staff went above and beyond for us! We will definitely be back!
- 5/5
They were great, easy parking, cheaper than other places around. I forgot a coat there, I called them back and they put it aside and had it available a week later. Next time I need a hotel in that area I will be staying there.
- 4/5
The facility was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was dirty. Many homeless people living on the street.
- 5/5
Muy limpio camas y cobijas limpias y suavecitas todo renovado nos encantó, su personal muy amable y accesible es pequeño y está muy bien parking seguro
- 5/5
Friendly and accommodating
- 2/5
The staff here were very kind and helpful, so the review is definitely not an issue of service. The elevator was out and apparently has been for a long time. The room was somewhat dirty (no bedbugs though!) and minimally appointed. But mainly my issue is that this was the noisiest room I've ever stayed in. You can hear every footstep and breath from outside the room, which made it very hard to sleep!
- 5/5
Staff is very nice , polite and helpful.
- 3/5
There is a sign posted in the lobby saying the elevator is unavailable because it's being upgrade. But, based on the condition of the sign, I'd say that's management's friendly way of saying "It's broken and won't be fixed soon." So, if you have mobility challenges, request something on the ground floor. The staircase is small and narrow and would be difficult for older guests. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. The location is very convenient. All in all, a great value for what I paid and what I got.
- 4/5
The staff members were very friendly and helpful with anything. The location was close enough for me to walk around the place.

The property was quirky and clean!! I only gace a 2 for property because it’s under renovation! The beds were super comfy and loved the parking garage, because the area seemed not great! We ordered grub hub and it was just perfect!
- 3/5
AC wasnt working in 215, got very hot in the middle of the night.
- 3/5
My first time staying here. There was no notice when booking that the elevator was out of order and then put me on the 3rd floor. The stairs seem very narrow and steep. The room was okay though the walls are awfully thin as I was awoken to a lovers spat at 2 am that I don’t think ended well. On the plus side, I thought the bed was comfortable and the hot water in the shower heated up fast. I was also able to walk from Chase Center (about 2 miles) and it was an easy, flat route.
- 4/5
great value for price. comfortable rooms with lots of amenities. fantastic coffee shop across the street. on site parking with an extra fee if you get there early enough to claim a spot. complaints: they are rebuilding their elevator and the stairs to the third floor are not fun, it took forever to get the hot water going, the shower head was really low - barely the right height for me and I'm 5'3"! would definitely return again in the future though!
- 4/5
The staff are a pleasure in offering assistance and service. The facility is a good business location and is undergoing a refurbishment that offers excellent room facilities and full replacement of the elevator. I'll return for business trips.
- 3/5
I was very disappointed. The room was small but ok. The shower looked good but there was no water pressure, it barely worked. My daughter did not take a shower because she got thick hair and she would never be able to get all the shampoo out of her hair. It came with a continental breakfast, but the coffee and juice machines were not working. There was nothing else to drink. The choice of food was pretty lame. the rooms are not very insulated because when people were in the hallway it sounded like they were in your room. There was no carpet in the hallway so that made it very noisy. I would not recommend this place to anyone, and I will never be back.
- 5/5
Relatively close to a sketchy area but really accessible to all the tourist destinations in San Francisco
- 3/5
Uncomfortable bed and loud noises from the hallway and neighboring rooms.
- 1/5
I wrote my review on Google. I plan to never stay at this hotel again.
- 3/5
The room was small, affordable, and worked for me. The shower had black mold around the soap holder and the bottom of the walls. The bathroom had hair from a previous guest. The walls are thin and other guests talking in the hall were loud.
- 2/5
The room smelled and there were stains on the bedding and the towels. Will not stay here again.
- 4/5
Enjoyed my time here
- 4/5
Good stay for a family of 6! 2 queen beds and a bunk bed. Location was far from any good restaurants or sites. During our stay, the elevator was under repairs, so we had to carry our own luggages up the steep and narrow flight of stairs.
- 4/5
we came on this trip to visit our daughter. she lives on Market St. it was 8 minute walk to her place. hotel was clean, free breakfast and guys at front desk were very polite we always had safe parking on the site.
- 3/5
This is more of a high end hostel (with private rooms), but pretty good for the price. The thing that would bring me back was the excellent service. The street facing room was too loud for me, but I know better now. They have a very limited number of parking spots so call them right away to reserve one if you need it. It's far from luxury, but fine for simple needs or quick visits to the city. The daytime front desk person was excellent and is the reason I will book here again.
