I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

OG is such a great hotel. it is always very clean. the location is perfect. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Always efficient housekeeping. This time was a bit more pricy than usual. But it is worth the money. Also, not hotel's fault, but on my last night, there was extensive street work outside my window all night. Very very loud - hard to sleep. Maybe if this occurs again, hotel should give guests a heads up about it - and maybe have some earplugs available!

Very good

Great location right next to the dragon gate. Convenient to get to anywhere in the downtown and along the metro line. Friendly staff, clean room with air conditioning. Solid choice for a business trip. Some facilities are dated, but everything is working. Window in my room didn't open, so ventilating the room with fresh air isn't really possible. Other than this small things, all good.
- 5/5
Great location, very nice staff, very clean
- 5/5
The cleanliness, very quiet, amazing staff. Nothing comes to mind.
- 5/5
Really nice. Far exceeded my expectation. Lively hotel. Beautiful. Lovely staff.
- 4/5
For San Francisco it is great value for money. Central location, very clean and spacious rooms. Friendly staff. The area felt really safe as well day and night. Nothing to think of
- 5/5
We had a comfortable stay, clean room, great location, attentive staff.
- 4.5/5
Perfectly located in the financial district. Walking distances to entire SF if you have good walking shoes. Try Caffé Central for breakfast or lunch. Or jump on a cable car at Union Square to get to the other side of town.

Very underwhelming hotel. stay elsewhere...
- 4.5/5
Great for the price and location! Very close to Chinatown. Staff were very friendly and gave us an upgraded room. Check out time 12pm as well!

Everything - location, facilities, the rooftop garden, the service N/a
- 5/5
Excellent all around, courteous and welcoming staff, cleanliness, bedding comfort, amenities, location is very convenient, absolutely delightful !!
- 5/5
Comfortable quiet room; big bathroom. Nice staff. Super location. Great value! I lost an envelope of money (found elsewhere) but when I called they went and checked the room for me. I didn't eat breakfast there, so not sure about food but think it is a little gem. I was by myself but friends came to meet me and little small to visit, but the outdoor patio was nice. Thank you!

- 5/5
A very clean and cosmopolitan hotel. Wonderful staff, spacious room with excellent bed and bedding. The location is ideal for exploring SF. Highly recommended. We shall be back.
- 4/5
Staff are courteous and polite, and the kitchen staff in particular were helpful. Interiors felt slightly dated, but could just be our experience coming from Europe.
- 5/5
Hidden gem in San Francisco. Clean and well maintained.
- 4/5
Clean room. Very helpful staff. Just had issues getting into the building after 10:30pm…. Didn’t realize we had to be let in. This should have let us know, although it was 2:30am!
- 5/5
Excellent location for downtown & Chinatown, The staff are welcoming, and the room was clean & well kept. Everything was perfect for us.
- 4/5
Fantastic location and very comfortable rooms. Staff very helpful Would be nice to have better lobby facilities
- 5/5
Clean room and great location. Breakfast better sourced elsewhere. Very loud aircond so bring earplugs

Very small gym, no parking on site
- 5/5
Good location at the entrance to Chinatown. Welcoming staff, large lobby and modern rooms.
- 5/5
Great value. Parking one block away, $42 per day. No in/out. Incredibly professional staff. Very clean. Rooms newer than than Orchard Hotel down the street. Fridge and coffee maker in room. Bathrooms nice. Nice restaurant. Great location. Easy to walk to Chinatown and Union Square.
- 5/5
The water station on the 7th floor was out of order.
- 4.5/5
Clean, pretty atmosphere One of the staff members (an older man) was unfortunately quite rude during our check-in experience. It was not a very welcoming first impression and honestly affected our overall stay, even though everything else about the hotel was excellent. Thankfully, the rest of the staff were kind, professional, and genuinely helped improve our experience afterward, so we really appreciate them for that.
- 5/5
This hotel is a gem - comfortable, beautifully maintained, perfect SF location. Only question is why have we been staying anyplace else??? We will be back.
- 5/5
Nearby plenty of restaurants, a Walgreens for essentials, and walkable to BART
- 5/5
I had a wonderful stay at The orchard garden hotel. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Rooms were cleaned daily, something I appreciate a lot. Rooms were of decent size and very neat and clean. I could have appreciated having a microwave in the room to hear up food, but the one bear reception worked just fine. Location is excellent. I would 10/10 recommend staying at this property
- 4/5
The rooms have very few plugs, even the double, so it just made simple things more difficult. It’s outdated on that front and even the safes annd temp control are quite outdated. I wouldn’t consider this a 4 star, more of a 3 star. Location though was great.
- 5/5
It was exactly as advertised — upscale and basic. No frills, very pretty and well maintained.
- 5/5
The bed was super comfy and the room was very quiet. We requested an upper floor and they happily accommodated us. Great stay!
- 5/5
Small details in the room are thoughtfully attended to, including multiple types of glassware, a Keurig and small fridge, and full-sized wall mounted shower toiletries. Lighting is good overall, as is climate control. Only a couple of small items that could be improved: more easily accessible and office-friendly plugs (both at the desk and on the bedside tables) and a desk chair at a height suited for the desktop (the chair was very low, making me have to reach up to work effectively and my Zoom call a bit awkward). Highly recommend, and I look forward to my next stay.
- 5/5
Great breakfast. Very clean hotel
- 4/5
This is a nice, clean well located hotel at a reasonable price. Reminds of the old Caesars in Tijuana. A safe, clean “old elegance” feel with a friendly staff. Go out of the hotel and walk to the right you get the Chinese district. Walk to the left you get all the way to the square. Overall a good experience. Be prepared they ask for a 150 dlls deposit which I got back quickly two days after check out.
- 5/5
Parking near by was safe and easy.
- 5/5
Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and very quiet -- we barely heard any noise from other guests. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is in a great location to get to many different parts of San Francisco easily; one entrance to Chinatown is at the end of the block, and Union Square is only a few blocks south. It was also very easy to get to the BART on foot with luggage. Many good dining options within a short walk. The only downside is that our room had a barn door on the bathroom; these provide no privacy whatsoever. But it seems to be a trend in hotels rather than a quirk of this property. Despite the barn door, we would stay at the Orchard Garden again.
- 5/5
Parking was ok. Used the recommended garage. Breakfast was ok as well. N
- 4/5
Our bathroom was quite large, clean and pleasant as was the bed. Location was great - next to Chinatown - and area was pretty nice.
- 5/5
Room was clean and staff was very friendly and attentive.
- 5/5
This is a great hotel for first time visitors! It’s right next to the Dragon Gate entrance and close to many restaurants. Very clean and comfy room for the price. The staff was also very helpful and kind.
- 5/5
Nice staffs, great location, cleaners always cleaning our room. Highly recommended. Will stay here again!
- 5/5
I wish I could give more stars! After staying in over 50 hotels in San Francisco, this is by far the best. Exceptional experience and the staff are absolutely outstanding!
- 5/5
Location was excellent and just 10mins walk from BART and other transportation. It was relatively quiet despite the location except for the other guests slamming doors. A lot of restaurants around the area. Staff were very nice and helpful. Free wifi. Sixt car rental office was just a few blocks away. The room and bathroom was clean and nicely size for us (couple). Would definitely recommend it and would stay again once back to SF.
- 5/5
Lovely, clean hotel that is centrally located. Super easy to walk anywhere. Carpet needs some updating but otherwise great facilities. Staff are superb and helpful.
- 5/5
Perfect location from which to explore iconic neighborhoods, waterfront sights, catch a ferry to quintessential Sausalito or to hike Angel Island. A rare boutique hotel of newer construction near Union Square. Comfortable rooms and friendly helpful staff. A short walk to BART, cable cars, trolleys and the MUNI subway. Surrounded by a vast array of dining destinations. Skip the hotel breakfast and opt for more interesting options nearby. Don't miss the hotel's rooftop terrace for late night views. Or pick up traditional Chinese from a Chinatown carryout counter for a mid-day snack with a view. TIP: BART is a fast, reliable and cost-effective way to transport from SFO to the hotel via Montgomery Street Station. And finally, we loved exploring restaurants in the charming Russian Hill and bustling Mission Districts. This hotel was just a quick rideshare away.
- 5/5
All around great stay! Parking close by too
- 4/5
Good. Breakfast not included
- 5/5
Room was clean and adequate for a nights stay. Pleased with our experience.
- 5/5
I love this hotel, I will came to here soom.
- 4/5
It is very good , clean rooms and staffs friendly hotel in SFO 😀
- 5/5
Very comfortable stay in a great location downtown. Close to the BART station for the airport and easy walking to Chinatown/Embarcadero and other areas (plus the tram along the front!) Rooms are very spacious, impeccably clean and the bed was just right for us. Highly recommend for a good value stay in the centre.
- 5/5
Great hotel, great staff in a great location. I loved the quiet rooftop! I’ve stayed here 3 times and will be back!
- 5/5
I stayed for a week very clean. Staff was amazing. My whole experience was very good, but the amenities were not good at all. The fitness center was just a treadmill and small little weight if you're looking into working out, no microwave I had to go downstairs if I wanted to warm my food up. But like I said overall experience was amazing and I would go back, if I came back to San Francisco; by the way it also stepped from Chinatown literally. It's also in a very safe area of the city.
- 5/5
We loved our stay at Orchard Garden. Terrific staff. Clean and private rooms. The location is fantastic. Easy walking to...everywhere, it seemed! Paid parking across the street was typical San Francisco expensive but super convention. The rooms don't have much of a view and I'm not a fan of sliding bathroom doors that don't really close, but that's the modern style apparently. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
- 5/5
SF has a lot of closed storefronts and restaurants, but this hotel is a gem. I would definitely come back here again. Large room, extremely clean, easy to walk to restaurants etc. my wife loved this hotel, enough said!
- 5/5
The reviews were good and I liked the location. I choose the king with a terrace and i was not disappointed ! The weather was very hot but the air con worked well enough.the bed and pillows were the BEST i have slept on ! The staff were kind and helpful. The resturants across the street were good and i enjoyed my stay very much. Clean and comfortable.. i would go back to room 907 !
- 4/5
The internet was fast. Glass cups were too small, i would have prefered paper cups. Since I booked the room via Hotels.com, I got the room facing the trash receptacle. The garbage truck was noisy, this is not good for late risers, however there was live music in front of the hotel, so we were shielded from that. Great location if you like Chinatown.
- 5/5
Always an excellent stay at this wonderful hotel, and this trip was no exception.
- 5/5
Excellent location just steps from the dragon gate at Chinatown. Restaurants, bars and shopping everywhere. Lots of parking garages as well. Spotlessly clean hotel. Excellent firm but not hard beds. Bedding and pillows felt high end. Staff was friendly and very efficient. Would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Around the corner from Chinatown. Safe, clean area
- 5/5
I chose this little gem as it was walkable to the City Club where I was attending an event. The hotel was clean, and nicely furnished, and the staff was courteous and helpful. Plus, the price was better than competitive. I chose a superior room which meant a window that looked out on Bush St. All-in-all, a great way to spend the night in the Financial District.
- 5/5
Clean, fast check in, convenient location
- 5/5
Great everything
- 5/5
Nice staff. Clean place. Could use more dumbbells in weight room.
- 5/5
Clean room, lovely front desk staff! Enjoyed the central location.
- 2/5
got stuck in rlevator
- 4/5
Very nice place and awesome staff! Only hiccup was when I called to see if an early check in was available I got transferred 3 times back to the same person to then be told no it's not available, to then arrive to drop off bags then was told a room is ready.
- 5/5
Clean room, quiet, and welcoming desk staff.

- 5/5
Great location, located right next to the Chinatown Gate. The room was clean and comfortable, the hotel room was quite quiet even though it is located on a busy street. The staff was very friendly and courteous.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, nice and clean, convenient location to Chinatown and Union Square. The only issue we had is the water pressure. Our room is on the 8th floor and the water pressure is very low.
- 4/5
Very good location. Easy check in/check out.
- 4/5
Close to our 2nd home up the street and we stay here when there is overflow of guests/family. Easy, clean, convenient, comfortable. The shower water pressure isn’t always reliable but that’s that only less than positive comment.
- 4/5
Friendly staff and clean room. AC/heating was a bit noisy and shower lacked water flow.
- 4/5
Our room was spacious, clean and the bed was so comfortable.
- 5/5
Excellent all around. Front desk Reps Johnnie were the best. I will make this hotel my home from home.
- 4/5
The hotel is located right by the Chinese gate on Bush and Grant street, which is walkable to downtown, Chinatown, and North Beach. It was very quiet at night and the bed was comfortable. The room was clean and hotel staffs were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, too. I wasn’t crazy about the interior, which reminded me of 90’s vibe. I am not sure if this hotel is 4 star. I felt like its 3.5 star hotel.
- 5/5
Fortunately we could walk into Chic
- 5/5
Clean, quiet and great location and price!
- 5/5
The location is excellent!
- 5/5
Next to Chinatown and easy walk to downtown shopping. Clean with good amenities. Dining nearby.
- 5/5
Had a really good time here the room was so comfortable and there’s lots to eat in the neighborhood and very walkable. The staff was so sweet and had good recommendations
- 4/5

- 5/5
Staff very friendly and helpful
- 4/5
Good staff that cares about your stay, friendly welcome. Fresh breakfast. Hotel room spotless. Only issue was that the elevators were out for a brief period.
- 5/5
Clean room and great clean up service each day.
- 3/5
I’m honestly surprised by the high ratings. The rooms are outdated, the walls are so thin you hear everything, and mine had a strange smell the entire stay. I had one of the worst nights of sleep I’ve had in a long time. The location is convenient, but that’s really the only positive. Wouldn’t stay here again.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel, veery quiet, nice linens and comfy bed. Absolutely stellar customer service
- 5/5
Great customer service, clean rooms, nice gym
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
Clean. Easy. Quiet. Location
- 5/5
The room was beautiful and very clean! The staff were so sweet and helpful. I would definitely recommend this!!
- 5/5
Orchard Garden Hotel is everything Iook for in a hotel: it is centrally located, spotlessly clean, quiet and well-priced. Staff is polite and helpful. While the property doesn't offer on-site parking, there are parking garages close by. This will be my go-to hotel when traveling to San Francisco.
- 4/5
It's show wonderful, fitness center can be better, I like the rooftop area and the location.
- 4/5
Nice hotel, seems it is maybe still recovering from 2020. As San Francisco seems to be on a bit of a rebound, this property, despite a very attentive staff is struggling to rebound. The property has good bones bits lacks the polish and services that it probably once had as referenced by a Condé Nast “Top 5star? In SF”. All in all a good stay, but no longer a 5 star and feel a bit hurt by the net net $400+ a night. I’d return, but not at that price point. SF is on the upward swing and the city is worth the visit!
- 5/5
Not applicable. Didn't have breakfast

- 5/5
Rooms were SPECTACULAR and SPOTLESS! Amenities were provided and the front desk staff were excellent in every way! Johny took good care of me and my fiancé.
- 5/5
Location and very helpful staff
- 4/5
That’s great
- 5/5
The hotel and my room are just lovely - the furniture, decor, and appointments all very tasteful - and the space a generous size. I also appreciated the location - it was easy to park in the garage and venture all over the City. I will look forward to returning and recommending the hotel to others.
- 5/5
Very clean and friendly staff.
- 5/5
This hotel was clean and quiet. It doesn’t have a true “huge” lobby area but there is a breakfast only dining area. The mini fridge came in handy. The WiFi was free and quick. I didn’t like how anyone could just come into the hotel and have access to the elevators but overall it felt safer than it looked. It’s overpriced but I guess that’s because it’s San Francisco.
- 4/5
Great location, large room, fast check-in, friendly staff
- 5/5
Beautiful place, very clean and organized 👌
- 5/5
I had a wonderful one-night stay at the Orchard Garden Hotel. The staff were very accommodating and the property was a calm and clean oasis while being conveniently located. I look forward to my next stay.
- 4/5
Rooms are good. Location on a small hill. Sometimes a little tired to return to the hotel. But everything else is good.
- 5/5
The hotel is very well run, clean, and stylish. The folks who work here are absolutely incredible as well. (Shout out to Youness, Andy, Shane, Steve, and Art!) They checked on us via text numerous times and helped us as needed without hesitation. The housekeeping was amazing and reliable as well. The location could not be any better if you want to be within walking distance to Chinatown and Little Italy. The gate for Chinatown is literally right outside the hotel btw! We walked down to the pier in about 30 minutes, but so much to see and do on the way. I found only VERY MINOR drawbacks there which I think are worth at least mentioning. If you care about a hotel bar they don’t have one, the fitness room is a bit limited (but so much walking available outside I even hate to mention this) and there was not a microwave in our room which would have been helpful. (Perhaps I needed to purchase a higher end room so that could be my fault.) But folks, so much bang for the buck here and we will happily come back here. I hope you enjoy your visit as much as we did!
- 5/5
Well maintained for an older hotel, friendly staff. Definitely would stay again.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Quiet, comfortable and clean.
- 5/5
The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was very clean and "green"!
- 5/5
Staff was very helpful and property was clean
- 5/5
Breakfast was good but for charge.
- 5/5
Easy access to public transport. Walkable to good options for dining and shopping.
- 5/5
Clean room and nice staff
- 5/5
Great hotel in the heart of San Fran. Terrific location & very clean room with large bed. Perfect spot for exploring the city.
- 4/5
A bit outdated but clean and cozy. Staff is excellent.
- 5/5
Staff was exceptional being very patient, friendly & accommodating. Was able to pay little extra for later checkout & worth it since able to freely enjoy 2nd day of Chinatown festival. Room was private (having no room behind so offered headboard lighting & extra city view). Loved soothing, tea-scented toiletries. Excellent & enjoyable hotel stay (again much attributed to outstanding professional lobby staffers).
- 5/5
just as described. rooms were quiet and clean
- 5/5
All was great and centrally located in SF. No parking so make sure to reserve a nearby parking spot
- 5/5
The location is good, right beside China town. The room is spacious and clean with comfortable large bed. The staff is very friendly.
- 4/5
it was ok clean and neat. staff was great.
- 4/5
Great location.
- 4/5
Very clean room. Staff helpful. No dining options in hotel.
- 4/5
Room had a slight odor upon entry but went away eventually after I turned on the air. Hotel was overall clean and quiet and no issues - comfortable for a one night stay.
- 5/5
Great place to stay in the middle of everything, clean and friendly staff!
- 5/5
Quiet, clean, safe and the staff is very helpful
- 4/5
Clean, quiet, convenient. Would recommend
- 5/5
We were very happy with our stay at Orchard gardens. The location is prefect. The rooms were nice and clean. The staff were great. They don’t have parking on site but there is a parking garage a block away. Will likely be back. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
I booked Orchard Gardens last-minute and couldn’t have been more surprised and pleased! They got me checked in early, all staff were super friendly and helpful, and they texted me each morning to check in if there was anything I needed. They followed through on any requests I made and stored my luggage before and after check in and check out. I am absolutely coming back!
- 5/5
The proximity to all of the Chinese restaurants, walkable to the BART station, and the overall safety I felt while staying there.
- 5/5
Family visit, short stay, EZ check in, comfy beds, elevator acess. Parking in offsite, one block up (pay to park) and safe walk. Only steps from Chinatown entrance. Unloading and loading of luggage is curbside. Quiet!
- 5/5
Nice place to stay, chose specifically because the restaurant was said to have vegan options. Unfortunately, the restaurant was never open during our stay.
- 5/5
I will not hesitate to book again for future trips.
- 4/5
Overall I liked the hotel, I didn't like the lack of common space, the photos of the facilities are different when you arrive.
- 5/5
It’s right next to Chinatown gate. The parking is right across the street…makes it very convenient at night.
- 5/5
Location is great. The room is simple but clean. The bed was very comfortable for me, which is something I cannot say for every comparable hotel I’ve been in
- 5/5
Great location, excellent facilities!
- 3/5
Older property. Hair was on bathroom floor when I checked in, and there was low water pressure in the shower. The TV applications were not functioning during my stay. It’s is conveniently located if you just need a place to sleep.
- 4/5
I had a very comfortable stay- the room was clean, the bed was great, and the Wi-Fi worked well. There are also plenty of food options nearby. I’m giving it 4/5 mainly because the hotel is pretty bare-bones. The gym is tiny (not a big issue for me), and if you’re looking for extras like parking, breakfast, or other amenities, this probably isn’t the right fit. The on-site restaurant is only open in the mornings, but since there’s lots of food nearby, that wasn’t a problem. For my work trip, where I just needed a quiet place to sleep, it was perfect.
- 5/5
It was a beautiful place. The only drawback is parking. You have to walk a block to parking lot.
- 4/5
The main issue is that it was not made clear that this hotel does not have a parking garage. So the actual cost of staying here for a weekend is technically increased by $100 since the hotel recommends a nearby parking structure that costs about $50 a night. If I had known that, i likely wouldve changed hotel. Good if you dont have a car though
- 4/5
The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on at a hotel!
- 5/5
Great, quiet, clean and beautiful hotel. Would recommend to anyone staying in the financial district.
- 5/5
We love this place and we will return. The staffs were very nice and professional. The room was clean and the area is very convenient to BART or bus station. It’s right next to Chinatown and a short walk to Financial District.
- 5/5
Bed was comfortable, room was clean and quiet. Excellent breakfast offerings
- 5/5
Loved this place, can’t way to get back.
- 5/5
Close to the city center and just steps away from the entrance to Chinatown. The staff was friendly, and our stay was pleasant and comfortable. Highly recommended for travelers who want to be close to the city’s main attractions.
- 3/5
The hotel is clean and no frills. But the reviews I’d read had touted it as a boutique hotel with great linens. The hotel was a bit run-down, and the towels were those scratchy white towels you get at the gym. The elevators have brass panels that are covered in fingerprints. Just little things that could be improved to make the overall feel nicer.
- 3/5
Too old than expected
- 5/5
Room was spacious and we ate at the 2 french restaurants across the street - they were great.
- 5/5
The hotel is very clean and the staff are friendly.
- 5/5
Great location.
- 4/5
This is a sweet hotel. Clean, environmentally friendly, and the rooftop terrace was lovely. Our only complaints were that the breakfast was overpriced so we didn't use it, and our room had no view at all (our room literally looked out on a wall--but maybe that was why the price was so reasonable?).
- 5/5
It's centrally located, quiet, and clean. The trifecta of hotel scores.
- 4/5
I loved the stay! If theres anything that couldve made it better it would be comfier pillows (more plushy) and having bottled water already next to the coffee maker.
- 5/5
Hotel was very clean and quiet. Would stay there agaim
- 5/5
The room was in perfect condition and was very quiet. Plenty of amenities are provided, including a refrigerator and a Keurig coffee maker with pods. The staff is very helpful but not super friendly. Just an efficient operation and perfect for staying in San Francisco.
- 5/5
A great hotel with suoerb service.
- 5/5
Nice, clean conveniently located hotel.
- 5/5
Room is clean. Water is strong and hot right away. Short walk to union square and chinatown. Bed and pillows cozy. Great rest night sleep. Coffee and tea. Youll be returning and keep returning
- 5/5
Clean, quiet, and comfortable room (air temperature, comfortable bed and pillows). The room and bathroom were spacious for the two of us. Also, great location and only steps away from Chinatown.
- 5/5
Great one night stay! Excellent service and good location.
- 5/5
We loved the location and the friendly staff!
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and attentive The location was perfect close to transportation and attractions
- 5/5
The staff was so friendly and I would definitely go back if I ever hit San Francisco again! The hotel was nice and clean and the rooftop was so beautiful having some champagne with the hubby!
- 5/5
This hotel is a gem! The check-in was so fast and convenient. It was the easiest and fastest check-in I think I have ever had. I booked the incorrect room (a king stead of double bed), and they were able to upgrade the second room free of charge. They have a Keurig in the room with creamer and sugar. They have a carafe for water and they have a filtered water system on the first floor and the seventh floor. There are also glasses provided. The water is delicious, and it’s so nice to have that feature and to not constantly have to buy water from stores or vendors. There is a refrigerator in every room. The beds are incredibly comfortable. Spacious bathrooms. We went to North Beach and got some wine and they uncorked it for us and we were able to have a few drinks on the rooftop garden. It’s beautiful! It’s steps away from Chinatown! It’s incredibly close to Union Square and some of the downtown shopping. It’s not far from Fisherman’s Wharf or the Embarcadero. And the hotel and staff are lovely! Book this hotel!

Walkable to all shops and restaurant.Cable car staion is nearby. No onsite parking , the public parking garage about 5 mins walk from the hotel

The space is good and the location is just walks away from Chinatown. My only cons during my stay was the AC is blowing slow. It took time for the room to be cool. Also, there's no parking space on the premises.

Lovely two night stay. Great location. Rooms are spacious, bright, clean, and nicely decorated. Staff is pleasant and helpful. I would not hesitate staying here in the future.

Solid experience. Nothing too fancy but the room was clean and comfy. Love the spacious bathroom. It was quiet the whole 3 days I stayed. Quite walkable and right next to Chinatown. Has plenty of food options and interesting spots. Didn’t feel unsafe from being close to tenderloin. Will stay again!

All was good with no complaints. It is an old hotel but well maintained. We did not eat there so I cannot comment on the restaurant.
- 3/5
It was an OK and cheap enough hotel to stay as we had a flight at 1145 pm out of SFO and just wanted to have a room until it was time to go. If I was coming back on vacation, I would stay clear away from this place. It’s dated and just very so so. Three star property (but barely). Unless you are trying to save money, there are plenty of much nicer properties very close by.

A great hotel in the perfect location for the family gathering we were attending. Walking distance to the Ferry Building and so much more. The staff was incredibly helpful with late checkout and holding luggage.
- 4/5
The room is clean and comfortable. The only problem is that there’s no parking lot in the hotel.

Very clean, quiet and well located. Easy check in. Convenient parking across the street at Stockton-Sutter garage. Easily walkable to Union Square, Chinatown, Financial District, Ferry Building. Perfect for our needs

Overall worth the money

Great, responsive staff. Terrific location at Chinatown and Union Square, yet very quiet

Hotel should have some type of a deal with garages for their guests.

Nice staff. Clean.

Great staff, clean and quiet.

Needs a tech upgrade in the rooms for business travelers.

Another great visit to our go to hotel in San Francisco.
- 3/5
The hotel itself is not bad, actually it’s really nice. I just thought the experience should have been better for the price. Paid like $500 a night and they don’t even give you water to the room. Everything there is an extra charge, like they are nickel and diming at every turn, and no onsite parking. Had to go park in a parking garage down the street. I usually stay down the street at the Marriott which is better for a similar or lower price, was booked up.

We enjoyed our stay - bed was comfortable, room was spacious. Good location and easy check in.

Great place to stay. Friendly and great location

Like the place, next to China town. The staff are very friendly and thoughtful.

We were disappointed in the views from the room (looked onto another room’s window and a building opposite with builders): privacy wasn’t great. We also expected self-laundry facilities but there was only a (very expensive) hotel service. We also requested that our sheets were changed, and they were not. Staff could generally have been more welcoming and helpful with bags when we arrived in the pouring rain. We had a problem with our passports 1.5 weeks prior to arrival and our online query was never responded to. The area is also not very safe: there is a big drug problem in downtown San Francisco that is not just restricted to the notorious Tenderloin area. I would therefore not recommend going out at night or staying here as a solo traveller.
