Got fantastic advice about parking around town at check in. Lot's of great places to eat in walking distance. Room is very comfortable.

First time visiting San Francisco and we loved the hotel, it was clean, it has parking and it was an in a good area.

Easy to walk to Pier 39 and other waterfront attractions. Good restaurants closeby on Polk. Uphill walk to Lombard Street. The room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. Great to have parking included as it's expensive to park and difficult to find. A couple of smaller stores for groceries.

I like how close it was to restaurants and convenience stores, it was very easy to get around and I like how clean the property was.

Clean room with mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and free parking! Loved it!! We walked everywhere, but we are walkers. We did have our car just in case. The shower works, first night took about 15 minutes to get hot but be patient, it works! Next 2 days it was hot immediately, no problems.

I liked the new decor large room biggest in SFO. It’s a motor hotel but very convenient for our needs. The free coffee in the lobby is great Not much to dislike it’s what it is.

Stay was very pleasant. The motel is well located and quiet. Rooms were spacious and clean. My only comment is in regards to the parking stalls. They were very narrow and the lot could be difficult to maneuver for larger vehicles. Would stay here again.

My second stay there. They are really nice and the free parking is fantastic! There were some cars taking up two spots and the front desk was able to create more parking spaces. Great customer service.

I selected this hotel for its free parking and close proximity to a couple of key places, gym and foreign embassy. I was pleasantly surprised that the neighborhood is very walkable with lots of cafes, restaurants and fitness studios nearby. I requested and got a room towards the back away from the street so it was pretty quiet. Room was renovated and had good organization. Our room was on 2nd floor and you could hear movement/footsteps from the unit upstairs on 3rd floor. The ground floor is parking so we didn’t have anyone below us fortunately.

Interior was clean and very spacious for 2 people. Staff was great as well.

Not well cleaned. Lots of hairs in the bathroom and debris on the floor. Didn’t seem swept much less mopped. I had to clean the bathroom myself and the shower was without hot water for a time. Water pressure in the shower was not great. If you’re only there to sleep and spend minimal time in your room, it’s cheap and good location.

No door stopper on the wall or the door itself. No where to put shampoo or soap in the shower, very inconvenient and honestly, stupidly designed. Was at noisy street, blinds cannot be shut properly. Very poor quality.

The location is excellent. Our room was clean and well appointed. Check in was easy and we will definitely be back now that our daughter lives 15 minutes away from the hotel!

Dust everywhere. Even the desk the the lobby wasall dusty and leaving dust in my shirt. Parking at night is challenging.

Absolutely Everything about my stay at this place was great!!

Clean room and nice staff. Only downside is small parking spaces. Sedans and hatchbacks will fit fine but youd have to be careful for trucks and SUVs.

Room was clean (but with a "sterile" feel), great location. Good bedding. I just could not get warm, I dont think there is central heat, there is a wall unit but I couldnt really get it to stay on. It was fine for an overnight, just did not have a comfy feel.

Clean and in a great neighborhood. Safe to walk to coffee shops and restaurants. Parking inclusion was a big plus. But parking spaces are tight.

My partner and I enjoyed our stay! We tried to extend our stay by a few hours but wasn't able to as we were told it was fully booked. Nevertheless, I would come back here to stay again in SF! Only issue I had was the shower head's water pressure. It was too low for me.

I was never even able to check-in to the Nob Hill Motor Inn. The front desk clerk was very rude to me and did not allow me to check in and would not give me a reason as to why.

Everything seem pretty safe and clean. Only problem we had is the guy taking a dump out in the parking lot.

One thing needs to add a wardrobe to hang clothes.

The walls were very thin and I could hear next door's music. It was a motel style so the door leads straight to outside. Although the hotel isn't in tenderloin it still felt a bit unsafe outside at night alone. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

We choose this location for the price and recommendations of the area being safer than others. The room was clean and basic. Seems as if they had done some remodeling on it and didn’t finish. Some walls were half painted. We had paid for 2 nights as we had tickets for Alcatraz and didn’t want any of our belongings in the car but were not planning on staying the second night. Well Alcatraz got cancelled and we checked out at 10:30am with nothing offered to us at all. It’s a fairly inexpensive place to stay but not fancy at all and the bed was rather firm.

The only reason I’m giving this 3 stars is because I paid via Expedia. I was told there would be a $200 deposit on my card (which is fine). That $200 posted on my account and then they’re currently holding another $200 pending charge. All together for 3 nights. 2 - $200 holds plus $561 Expedia charge. Kinda wild for a motel.

Not so good. Water drain was so slow in shower room, so I have to stop shower during draining every 2 minutes not to flood.

Good rooms. Tiny parking spots though. The staff wasnt there to check me in. But i called the number. And they instructed me to take theh room key from this secret compartment. So everything worked out fine.

Room was nice a big. Need more towel racks no place to hang towels to dry. Need more fur chairs in the room only one for such a big room

The motor inn was great for a quick one night stay in San Francisco. It had everything I needed.

1st time and this was a great motel spot. Pillows are small and there is 3 on a queen bed. 1st car is free and additional cars are $20. Room was clean, updated, smelled fresh. Neighborhood was good, no homeless or sketchy looking areas or people. Great price and will def stay here again in the future.

10 out of 58 channels worked. Tv casting is garbage. Location is fine though. Overall the bedroom and bathroom are very clean. I thank the cleaning ladies for such their hardwork.

This hotel was easy to find, had off street parking without charge, and had nicely set up, clean rooms that seemed recently renovated. It was very close to restaurants and there was a Walgreens nearby. Also there was a cheese shop on one corner and an upscale steakhouse on the other corner (each steps away from the entrance). We just needed to be here 1 night for an event and it fit our needs. There was 1 desk chair, a desk area with 2 outlets and 2 USB ports a refrigerator and microwave, single cup coffee maker, nice bedside lighting for reading, 2 open outlets and usb ports on each side of the bed, and open shelving for unpacking which decreases the chance of leaving things behind.

We enjoyed our stay - the staff are nice and the place is super convenient. The room is basic, but clean and spacious. It comes with a parking although we didn't use it.

The bed was comfortable enough. It was very basic so don't look for an extra blanket, etc. the cleaning chemicals lingered.

Very pleased with our stay. Had a over night stay for a Doctor appt. the following morning. Room was large, clean, comfortable and affordable! Even had Free Parking! Wished it had better selection of restaurants within a couple of blocks was the only negative. Would definitely stay here again!

The room had a terrible chemical smell. The bathroom floor was wet, the shower was too disgusting to use. I was charged a $150 deposit and 24 hours after check-out it still hasn’t been refunded.

Nicest place for a short stay with short walk to good restuarents

We were impressed that there was a lift. Carpark was rather tight and Americans with oversize cars seem to think it's acceptable to park across 2 spaces. The room was pleasant enough but the AC unit was very loud overnight.

The hotel was perfectly located in a very safe area. (Nob Hill). Restaurants were abundant and within walking distance. The rooms had been renovated, and the Free Parking was a Homerun. We took buses and cable cars within a block of the hotel.If I’m ever back in SF, I’ll be staying there again.

It would have been more comfortable with a runner along the sides of the bed so you don't have to touch a cold floor. Thank you.

Room smelled and their was hair all over the place

Room was big, bed was comfortable. Asthetic upgrades and location was good. Very noisy earlt in the morning though and not enough covers on bed. I had to turn the heat on every night to stay warm. Overall not a bad option on a budget but not sure ill.be back myself.

The room was big and very clean. The lighting was good. The beds were comfortable. Also, it was quiet. There was no water pressure in the bathroom sink. We could not regulate the heat, so when it got chilly, we had to turn the fan on, which was noisy. The location is great, very centric, but has a neighborhood feel to it. We found excellent restaurants within a ten-minute walk.

It took a very long time to get hot water for both the sink and the shower - I felt bad wasting all that water. Not a fan of the pillows - they’re small so I bring my own.

Yes it’s a two star motel but a nice one. Rooms are newly refinished and it’s all clean. No bed bugs. Safe area. Free parking. For the price and location it’s a great deal. I would stay again.

Would stay here again.

Only complaints are it would have nice if I was told we were being placed in ADA room. The room was clean, but you could still see spots on floor that needed cleaning from whatever dirty stains left behind. Also, biggest annoyance were two blinds were broken, so no privacy. See photo.

Dislike- very weak sink water almost non existent. I had to brush my teeth in the tub. AC weak and dirty, thin walls.

Rooms were clean. This isnt a high end hotel, and isnt pretending to be. Great motel to stay in downtown San Francisco when you have a vehicle to deal with. The neighborhood could not be more perfect. Walking distance to most things, and so many good food options

Not to ignore, location location location... it really is in a safe and super cool neighborhood. Detail for those afraid of bed bugs, the mattress is protected, I checked.... =)

Easy parking in a great neighborhood.

I stay at this hotel everytime. It has parking underneath and very modern clean rooms. You are within walking distance to the city and the buses can take you anywhere further. Check in is easy and I feel very safe traveling solo or with friends. Highly recommend

The floors are so thin we could hear every step that was taken upstairs even the vacuum in the early morning hours. It was incredibly loud throughout our entire stay. The room itself was nice, updated and spacious. However, when we asked for another blanket it was never provided to us.
