Reviews
The hotel is generally praised for its ambiance, amenities, cleanliness, and friendly, helpful staff. However, a common complaint is the lack of air conditioning and the presence of homelessness and noise in the surrounding area, which often disturbs sleep. The 'free breakfast' is also a point of contention, with many guests feeling it is not as advertised.
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Clean and comfortable rooms
- Lack of air conditioning
- Noise and homelessness in the surrounding area

The staff was very friendly and I was very impressed with the overall cleanliness of the property during my stay. I would def stay here again.
- 3/5
There’s no one side parking, but there was some about a block away for paid. The rooms were nicer than I thought. The bed was pretty stiff for my personal liking. The shower had great temperature but really low pressure. Just be aware you’re in the city, so there’s a lot of City noises when you sleep at night, but they do provide earplugs. We were supposed to get a glass of wine per the reception, but it was unclear if we were to just stand there near the front desk to drink it or take it to our room, since the restaurant that’s attached to the hotel wouldn’t bring it over and did not offer it. The restaurant itself was fantastic, which was really nice to have that right there. It’s an older hotel but it has a lot of charm. Would probably come back.

We had a two night reservation for two people. Things I had to request from the front desk upon arrival: a working room key, towel/washcloth/hand towel for the second quest, bathmat, toilet paper, water glasses...and the mini-fridge (which they had to bring up from the basement for some reason). The guy who I talked to had them sent up...but not before making me feel fussy for asking for them. Overall experience: meh.

No A/C. Poop on the outside of the hotel. Looks like a nice hotel from the photos. Easily one of the worst I've ever stayed in. 0/10. Do not recommend.
- 2/5
Door was locked upon arrival. I had to enter as someone was coming out just to check in. Staff was amazing and accommodated as much as possible. Keycard DID NOT work. Had to get a code to enter the building and the room. The room was very stuffy. There is no AC. We opened the windows but we were on the second floor and it was so so loud outside we could not get any rest at all. People screaming, sirens going off every few minutes, loud cars passing by with their music all day long. The fan was missing so they provided us with a portable fan after a few hours of being tired of being stuffy. I did ask for maybe a different room that wasn’t so close to the street but they were sold out. Staff was very friendly otherwise and tried to help as much as possible. But overall the point was to check in and get sleep before my night out and that was not possible at all.

extra charge fir deposit
- 3/5
The window glass is thin. the outside noise at 3am on 2 of the 3 nights was absolutely absurd. the loudest music I've ever heard someone playing. seriously, i couldn't hear my daughter in the same room, on the 4th floor..the last night, she called the police. she couldn't hear them on the phone. the first night, we were told about the windows being able to open, only because we called to complain about the VERY obnoxiously loud music. and the room was stiffling hot and stuffy. There is no "deal" with any parking garage. Though, the one on the next block did give us a discount.. becasue we chatted the guys up a lot. they are after all, people too. this is not of the edge of the tenderloin. it's in the heart of it. Big Apple Pizza was a welcome surprise our first night at midnight to grab a quick salad and cheesteak. (no, it's not as good as a Philly, but still tasty).

The hotel might look into this. Very nice hotel, but if you want to sleep, don't bet on it. I noticed they did leave earplugs on the stand--that might be included in their profile!
- 4/5
Nice room, sadly in a sketchy area at night. Staff were super friendly and we did not have any issues. If you need a place to stay, I'd say it's good enough for the night.
- 5/5
Great place to stay. The bed was fantastic!

Not AC
- 0.5/5
No A/C. Could not keep window open do to street noise.
- 3/5
We stayed for three nights and never got another set of towels. The property is clean but there’s no safe, refrigerator and tv did not work. The area surrounding the hotel is not the safest.
- 3/5
No water pressure in the shower. Sink too small to brush teeth easily.
- 4.5/5
It was really hot - no cool air came from the vents.
- 5/5
Always great stay!
- 4/5
A nice, clean, inexpensive, small hotel near Union Square. This is an ideal hotel for someone who wants a centrally located spot without the fancy perks of higher end, boutique hotels. It is clean. It has a nice staff. And the price is right. But it is located on the edge of the Tenderloin which remains derelict. I liked it and will stay there again.
- 5/5
Amazing staff and love the vibes
- 4/5
smaller then i thought but very clean hotel , on a busy street and homeless around the streets yelling but other then that very nice hotel
- 1/5
this hotel charged my card 7 times for two rooms. it made no sense. i enquired about the charges on four separate phone calls with their front desk staff. i was promised a call back from the manager Micheal which i never received. they ended up keeping the security deposits for no reason. do not stay here
- 2/5
Rooms were dusty and dirty still, shower water would leak through the entire bathroom floor, only a short rubber piece taped to the floor to prevent water from leaking out, but the water still leaked through it regardless and made the entire bathroom floor filled with puddles of water.
- 5/5
Good hotel
- 1/5
this hotel kept the security deposit for the two rooms i booked. the hotel manager was unresponsive after several attempts to enquire about it. don’t stay here
- 3/5
The location was good and most of the staff were very friendly and accommodating The hotel is much older than the pictures show with many of the amenities being very old. Bookings.com rated this a 4 star but based on the facilities it’s 3 star at best.
- 5/5
Everything was great!
- 1.5/5
Everything. No AC or heat, no fan in bathroom, staff did not fix or attend to low water pressure issue with shower, no mini fridge in room, room was extremely small, staff did not bring the two washcloths requested (told they couldn't find two).
- 2/5
The walls/windows in this hotel are the thinnest I've ever experienced. Old building that they did their best to renovate to make it look more modern and updated, but this is a really busy area and every time I car drove by blasting their music (which was often) it sounded like the music from the car was actually in my room. The hotel clearly knows this so they have ear plugs in the room on the bedside hotel, but even wearing ear plugs at night to sleep it still wasn't enough for how loud the cars we're. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows, but definitely an older building that is right on the border of the tenderloin and union square so if you exit the hotel and go the wrong way you are in a very sketchy area. If wasn't for the noise it would have been ok but I even lived on a busy street in Los Angeles for 13 years and I've never experienced such paper thin walls/windows where the sound gets into the room THAT bad, and I slept horribly during my stay as a result of it.
- 4/5
Good stuff.
- 4/5
Staff was pleasant. Had issues with room access. Had to go to front desk multiple time to be let into room at different occasions. Also noise from people outside was excessive.
- 3/5
Absolutely not recommended for anyone with a short budget! Parking isn’t available on the site so you have to walk 2-4 blocks from the public parking to the hotel and $43 all day/night plus in/out!
- 0.5/5
Stains everywhere, sheets were not replaced after i requested they be replaced due to stains. they took my blankets and put the same ones back on. same stains found. i had nowhere clean to sit there were stains everywhere. literally had to take my towels and lay them over most all surfaces.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff, beautiful aesthetic, conveniently located, lots of late night food options for delivery, beautiful bar and restaurant The location is ideal, but it is for sure an interesting neighborhood
- 2/5
Location is unacceptably unsafe for unknowing clients who are not accustomed to or unable to handle unruly street
- 5/5
The staff is amazing, the rooms are awesome, and the vibe is great!
- 5/5
Convenient location, clean, staff are friendly. I didn’t hear noise.

The WiFi and tv were not working. The Expedia website said that they offered bathrobes but they did not have them. The restaurant turned into a night club and was very loud, past 1:30am.

The gentleman that checked me in gave me a glass of wine on the house. It was exactly what I needed.
- 4/5
Clean, comfortable and great service!
- 5/5
Very nice hotel
- 3/5
Room size was great. Not a fan of a shower in a claw tub with plastic curtains around me. Not that I ever felt like I was in danger, but it was disturbing to see so many homeless people clearly in an altered state.
- 5/5
Room was very clean and quiet. Staff very pleasant and helpful.
- 3/5
Staff was friendly offer to come up and help with TV connection. Wifi didn't work. Room was noisy from city life which is normal. The hotel did offer ear plugs. Room was hot. No AC in this hotel. They did offer a fan but still hot. Restaurant at the hotel had good food.
- 3/5
Room did not have lighting, just desk lamp. No air conditioner, a moveable fan was provided. Maintenance for the room was bad. Was there for a week and on our last day Thursday they finally cleaned it. Even after we told the staff we needed a
- 1/5
This Area is NOT safe at all, we presence a Shotgun Situation in the middle of the Night, many homeless and drugs sales...was terrorific
- 4/5
Convenient for my needs. Restaurant very good.
- 2.5/5
The evening staff was creepy. The morning staff was rude. The room was saturated in chlorine and made me sick. No refrigerator. The carpet in the hallway was too thick for suitcase wheels.
- 5/5
The bed was so comfy
- 5/5
This is a beautiful hotel in a central location. We loved the decor and furniture pieces in our room. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The adjoining restaurant is unique and a must-try while visiting.
- 5/5
Very wonderful location. And transportation
- 5/5
Loved the atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very comfortable
- 4/5
Property was nice and friendly staff but the location has much to be desired as it's located in a very rough neighborhood. Shout out to Emilia at the restaurant who went the extra mile to help me out, it was appreciated!
- 5/5
Reclaiming the city after ten years away! I’ll be back!
- 5/5
Hotel Bijou is clean, elegant, convenient and less than nearby chain hotels.
- 3/5
First of all, it's nice enough. It's clean, the beds are clean, the rooms are nice, that's a major positive about it. That aside, I had a couple problems. 1) As described in the listing, there is no A/C. While A/C is generally not needed due to SF's temperate climate, hotels are large buildings and they're not always well-ventilated. I expected no A/C and anticipated a fan and windows that open. The fan, unexpectedly, wasn't a ceiling fan - it was a tower fan, on the floor, and didn't do much to cool the bed overnight. I tried opening the window but couldn't get it to stay open; because my stay was only for one night, I didn't call the front desk, so the window problems could easily have been user error on my part. :) 2) I don't love the area around the hotel. The vast majority of the Union Square area is safe, despite all of the rantings in the news these days, but this hotel was just a little bit too close to a couple blocks seemingly managed by absentee landlords so, unlike the rest of the Union Square area, there was more of a permanent & unusually aggressive homeless presence within a block or so of the hotel. SF is far safer than the news implies but I was quite surprised at how aggressive some of them were on a Saturday afternoon immediately after Labor Day weekend.
- 4/5
Quaint, historic. No airconditioning.
- 3/5
- Hotel decor is cute, particularly in the lobby. - Staff are friendly and helpful. - very close to the Powell cable car turnaround and the Powell BART station. Cons: - There were so many homless people outside that my kids felt unsafe to walk in the evening. - no air conditioning in the rooms! The fan they provided is not enough. If you open the window, it’s noisy because of tge homeless people outside. - There’s this certain smell along the corridor that I cannot describe. I seems musty due to lack of proper ventilation
- 4/5
Didn't like that this property does not have air conditioner. this was a last minute reservation and I didn't know this. They have a fan in thee room but I also need to open the windows. For the rest it was a beautifull hotel and very clean. Confortable bed and pillows.
- 3/5
Homeless people are outside the front door on the sidewalk.

This is a very nice hotel considering the price. The hotel is very clean, and the restaurant/bar is great. The staff are warm and friendly. But there was a lot of noise and yelling at all hours of the night, and our room was very warm without the heater on so we had to leave the window open. Overall, a good experience. I would stay here again, I’d just bring some noise-canceling headphones.
- 3/5
I thought reviews would be exaggerating the sketchiness of the area but it is unfortunetly one of the lesser parts of San Francisco. What was most upsetting is when I see "parking available" I expect it to be on property. However, I had to park in a third part lot on the over side of the street for $50. They should not advertise parking if it is not their or reliable. Additionally "breakfast" was some yogurt, muffins, and coffee. The room did look nice and was clean. Could have used a mini fridge or microwave. And I am not sure how I felt that the door was a passcode instead of a usual hotel door key. Not the worse stay but lot to take into account to determine if this is the place for you/worth it.
- 2/5
The front desk staff were nice (all of them). The room was a little dark. The area is close to public transport and easy to travel but a lot of homeless in that area and near the hotel. You will walk pass them when you go back and forth to the hotel. I am a solo male traveller. Of course, they wont do anything to you, but you still feel something. I know its nothing to do with the hotel. But it is something that San Francisco needs to look at.
- 3/5
The hotel looks to be remodeled from an older SF style building with the cool fire escapes! The shower situation wasn’t great as the tub wasn’t working and the shower water pressure was so light I felt it was taking forever to do finish. Inside is cute (and tiny) but when you step outside, you’d met with a street of homeless crazy people. It seems to be in the worst part with the homeless as we drove many other places without seeing the same thing on any other street. They were available for booking and allowed dogs. Would not stay again entirely bc of location. Front desk girl was sweet
- 5/5
Very clean room and staff from front desk to restaurant were very courteous and made stay enjoyable
- 1/5
Not a good neighborhood. Homeless people everywhere. Hotel room very small.Bathroom very small. Room service very poor. Breakfast Muffin, yogurt and coffee that’s all. I am not happy.
- 4/5
Small room. Dated but expected. Friendly guy on counter. Close to Cable tram (go early to avoid the queue). Big bus stop close by. Powell BART station very close. Nice place to stop over night.
- 5/5
Mr. Punya was so nice, friendly and provided an amazing customer service. He gave us information about places to visit, transportación and services we needed. Thanks
- 5/5
Great Location with friendly staff.
- 4/5
The street outside is very noisy - some of those living there were playing loud music late at night/early in the morning. Not much the hotel can do about that but it might be off putting to some. Likewise, the homelessness in the area would be concerning to some but we did not feel unsafe - we walked with purpose and were reassured by the police/security presence in the area. It’s a shame the SF authorities have allowed the area to decline as it has and are not actively seeking to compassionately address the homelessness problem in the blocks around the Bijou.
- 3/5
The sheet was a bit stained but overall clean. The hairdryer had some type of sticky residue on it so i had to use the bag to hold it. The area is noisy and sketxhy
- 5/5
Great hotel! Will absolutely stay here again!!
- 2/5
The TV was stuck in auto scan and never worked for our stay. The light word turn off and on. The pipes rattled while taking a shower.
- 2/5
TV not working, door not working, drain pipe outside window dripping all night loud in unit even w window closed (not raining), hairs on shower wall.
- 1/5
Called during check-in about directions for off-site parking, front desk didnt even know the address to it. After finding the place, we were told it was full - parking is not guaranteed. Wifi was not working and front desk said “I could switch your rooms, but it probably won’t work anyways”. TV does not work without wifi, sheets were stained yellow and room smelled bad. Deceiving listing, when I approached front desk about these issues during checkout, they proceeded to blame expedia for the listing, I’m still waiting for their manager to contact me.
- 1/5
It’s not necessarily the hotel’s fault, but I wouldn’t have chosen it if I’d known the area was this unsafe. Definitely not recommended for families.
- 4/5
Need more water in the shower, blackout curtains too
- 1/5
The place is a disaster, smells awful. Nothing like the pictures. On top of that if this is your first time in San Francisco this is the worst place to stay, is unsafe, full of homeless and dangerous people.
- 4/5
Close to everything
- 4/5
The place is ok, but kinda run down. In need of an overhaul.
- 4/5
Overall, everything was great. The area was definitely very sketchy.
- 4/5
I checked in late due to a delayed flight. Upon arriving at the hotel, I discovered that my room was not clean or repaired as promised. It took me an hour to receive my room key and finally get to my room. To make matters worse, the night shift girls in charge of the front desk were unfriendly and unfriendly when I arrived.
- 1/5
Reception was so rude
- 3/5
Noisy, dirty neighborhood. All night homeless making noise and fighting in the street. Racing cars and loud music from cars. Not good for kids. Hotel itself inside was great. No good parking options. Nearby parking for $50 a night.

- 5/5
This unassuming hotel on the edge of the Tenderloin was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and a very good value for a no frills budget hotel. Easy check in, a friendly staff, and a good location close to public transit means that I will stay there again.
- 2/5
The lobby looks nice but the rest was a disaster.
- 5/5
The room was perfect. Bed extremely comfortable. Having the staff man the front door added to sense of security plus the keypad to the front door.
- 5/5
Hotel was clean, convenient and undervalued. The hotel was easy to check in and check out. Tolietries were top of the line.
- 4/5
Was a delightful stay! They were all so lovely at the property and the room was cozy and perfect for my weekend stay! It’s centrally located to the Powell station. Some of the plugs in my room didn’t work but it was alright. A great hotel!
- 5/5
Mr. Punya was very accommodating! Really nice guy, I would definitely recommend.
- 4/5
-lovely hotel staff -greeted at check in with a glass of wine -truly beautiful decor and renovations; art nouveau inspired and 1920s looks throughout -clean!! -good water pressure in shower -walkable neighborhood with lots of great restaurants and cafes nearby -walking distance to Chinatown (20 min walk) -low deposit cost!! ($100) -secure bag storage on site! Skip using a sketchy bag storage location nearby and simply lock them in a provided locker for free! We kept 4 bags in the hotel until our late flight and it was a lifesaver -close to a great cannabis smoking lounge (Barbary Coast) Cons: -NOISE!! My guess is that the windows are older so they are not sound proof. Even on the 6th floor, we could hear the street noise to a point that it would wake us up sometimes. I know that the hotel is aware of this, as they did provide earplugs. I hope they can install better windows in the future. - Older hotels in San Fran have smaller rooms, keep that in mind and be ready for quirky bathroom layouts etc to accommodate the small footprint of each room Important: YES this hotel is on the edge of the Tenderloin district. Be smart and use common sense for larger cities. We didn’t feel unsafe as we didn’t walk through the Tenderloin/Little Saigon. YES, there are lots of folks living on the streets. This is San Fran, it carries a long history of housing issues. Be kind, be courteous, be respectful, see people with love, not fear.
- 5/5
It's in a very convenient area with lots of transit nearby and it's very walkable. The staff were incredibly nice - the restaurant looked nice in theory though it was never open when I was there. People are complaining about the breakfast but I don't understand that - you get enough to get you going for the day and even that's big for such an expensive city. I would stay here again if I return!
- 3/5
We did a weekends stay at the Hotel Bijou. The interior of the hotel fine and the rooms were quite nice. The photos made it look like the bar and dining room were functional and open for business but they were not. I loved the toiletries. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash were quite nice. There are no key cards for your room or the main entrance, but rather a 6 digit number that needed to be punched int a key pad. We did have some struggles with that. The only other check mark in the "poor" catagory was the urine smell outside the hotel. It was overwhelming at times
- 5/5
The keypads on the rooms didn’t work very good at all. It was a struggle to get in the rooms. Had to pay $40 for overnight parking at a local park garage. There is a lot of homeless people but hey it’s San Francisco you expect that. Other than those issues it was a nice hotel.
- 1/5
So loud. We did not sleep at all even with earplugs. Cars and screaming unhoused people day and night. No parking on site (which was advertised). No free drink as advertised (not a big deal but added to it). When we called they said they could not hold our luggage for us while we ran a race locally. Breakfast was coffee and yogurt. Group of unhoused sleep by the front door of the building
- 4/5
Cute boutique hotel with great employees. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Its not luxury but does have a lot of character that gives you a taste of art deco for a reasonable price. Chris was the best and really does change your perspective once inside. The only downfall is the homless problem right outside and around the corner. There is also no AC, but that wasn't a issue with the weather being cool and the window being operable. Lastly, the hotel is close to public transportation making the location very accessible.
- 2/5
Surrounding property was very loud and house people too close to my room too much noise coming off the street
- 5/5

- 1/5
the hotel was surrounded by homeless people and trash. there was a group of homeless people sitting outside the hotel. the hotel locked from the inside out to keep the rif raff out. there was trash everywhere. I didn't feel safe. It was very noisy, there were ear plugs left next to the bed to drown it out. I asked for a blanket and they didn't have any. it was a bad experience.
- 5/5
Hella cozy
- 5/5
Asked for one bed, got two beds. Cramped space. No wash cloths for bathing.
- 5/5
Hotel experience was excellent in terms of the cleansiness of the room and comfort and the service received from staff. Paid $35 for parking next block there is public parking on same street Mason. If you tell them you're staying at the hotel you could possibly get a discout because parking fee could be up to $50 per day.
- 4/5
Rooms are small. Hot water was an issue (that wasn't fixed), and our room didn't have internet access (and the staff said they couldn't do anything). Housekeeping was only offered every other day. The room had earplugs and a noise machine in the nightstand, a bad sign. We could hear people yelling in the street and loud cars going by at night. On the plus side, the staff was very friendly, they offered coffee and muffins in the morning, and the beds were super comfortable.
- 5/5
Cool beans
- 4/5
very nice especially for the price
- 5/5
It was only one day, but it was amazing.
- 5/5
Staff was super friendly and hotel was super clean.
- 1/5
When I arrived the people around the entry way and in the streets were tweekers so we decided not to stay there at all. The room was non-refundable and staff would not provide a credit so I had to pay for two nights and also for another hotel that was actually safe. I couldn’t more strongly recommend that you avoid this hotel.
- 5/5
Area is in the tenderloin if you’re familiar with the area, you know what to expect but super close to dining and concert venues. Super convenient for parking as well.
- 5/5
Location was great
- 4/5
We had a great stay. The service of bijou was everything. So friendly , so kind.
- 4/5
In an okay area, pretty easy to get around on foot. Staff and serb
- 5/5
The staff was nice and friendly. The housekeepers were so friendly. We even had a stuffed animal that we left on a bed. They came in and tucked in our stuffed animal. It was the sweetest thing in the whole world, and we appreciate it immensely. nearby is a bus/cable car route to almost anywhere in the city.
- 5/5
Very friendly and good hotel.
- 4/5
Good location for Moscone Center. Sensible pricing and good continental breakfast
- 4/5
A little TLC on detailed room cleanliness goes a long way. Found what looked like blood stain and other stains on bathroom curtains. Also bathroom sink needed a stopper, had something dropped in it possibly by prior customer.
- 4/5
Great for solo travellers
- 5/5
The front desk clerk was very helpful and polite. He became my buddy
- 5/5
Warning: Breakfast = a muffin and coffee tho, which is good if you don't mind a light breakfast. Very ideal for GDC stays
- 3/5
The hotel is clean and staff is super friendly. The only thing we didn’t like was the noise around the area. We could hear the noise from the street all night.
- 4/5
Decent room, nice clawfoot tub, but don't stay on the top floor, Wi-Fi doesn't extend there
- 3/5
Trash in room was not emptied daily. Breakfast was inadequate.
- 5/5
The inside and the staff are amazing. Just the area around is a little dirty but it is located a block away from everything. Overall it is an amazing hotel
- 5/5
The inside of this hotel is gorgeous. Very cozy and well maintained! Punya was especially helpful, he made sure we had everything we needed and he was fun to talk to! The room itself was clean and cute, the window opened up over a busy street of course, so we just had that closed to keep noise down. The beds are so soft and the bathroom was spacious and well stocked!
- 3/5
Beautiful hotel, very friendly staff. Not a so good location. Lots of street noise bot to mention homeless people everywhere. Does offer parking, nor parking garage vouchers. Hard to find where to park
- 5/5
The property and staff were great! The only thing was just to be aware in the area you’re in, but that’s not the hotels fault. The only thing we wished for was a mini fridge and a safe in the hotel room.
- 3/5
2. The street next to it is very unsafe due to so many homeless 3. We booked rooms with 2 queens bed but it was in real extremely small 4. There is no AC and it was damn hot in our room. Called the front desk to get a response please find fan in the closet 5. Parking is across the street but very expensive it's $60 even when outside it was written $30
- 4/5
Like most of downtown SF derelicts all around but this block seemed particularly vibrant. I know homeless people are harmless so it didn't bother me but I could see others feeling unsafe wanting an uber to pull right up to the door of this hotel after dark. A very quaint, totally lovely hotel otherwise. Both one of my favorites due to how quality the hotel itself is, mixed with a bit of a concern because the neighborhood seems to affect this place more than others (particularly with the noise -- a full-on street party going on outside my window kind of thing).
- 4/5
So even though this was not a great location, the hotel's cuteness and friendly staff were enough to still leave a high rating.
- 5/5
Excellent experience
- 3/5
The hotel is clean and the staff were nice. The doors were barely wide enough for my wheelchair. The room needed more trash cans

The rooms were very nice! But there was no breakfast included only coffee, water, muffins, yogurt and oranges. It shows a bar but was never opened. And hotel has no parking. And yes it’s a very loud area do to homeless the rooms have ear plugs.

This property was definitely advertised to be a bit more upscale than it was... the first room I was in had a toilet that did not work. The staff were nice enough to move me to a better room. It is very very loud in this hotel. They luckily provided earplugs which were super helpful. Great place if you are super on a budget- very sketchy on the street adjacent to the hotel but otherwise very walkable to a lot of things in the neighborhood.

You get what you pay for however, the bed and pillow had stains on them of make up I want to believe. The bed had hairs on it and the bathroom tub had a hair on it. The towel smell of bleach but the staff was helpful and friendly. Noises at night but overall did the job.

Great for the price

Location is a little close to the Loin, but i felt like it was the very last street of it, or the first one outside of it. I attended two events that i could walk to and never once did i feel unsafe. Homeless people in downtown areas come with the territory. I was only disappointed they didn't have a functioning bar/restaurant, as my plans were to not really go anywhere. The staff were top notch and Chris really knows how to lay the hospitality on thick. As a hotelier myself, customer service goes above and beyond anything else a property can offer.

The place was very dirty and their staff were rude! Not a good place to stay ever again

Very unsafe and super noisy

The location is perfect but there is a LOT going on on the streets below, the room provided ear plugs, a nice sound machine and wonderful furnishings inside. I would stay here again as the price was great and the parking was affordable and close.Only suggestion is to update the listing on expedia to state that there is nothing but coffee in the morning and a very clean room with great staff and exquisite interiors.

The staff was great and very accommodating. The hotel was perfectly situated for my conference and it was very convenient. Only down side was the lack of AC in the rooms so you had to open up your windows at night, which gets very loud for sleep. But they supply you with ear plugs, so it did the trick.
