Great staff and free parking make this a worthwhile choice.

Room looked clean but smelled horrible. Motel is on an extremely busy corner & you can hear cars, sirens, people walking by until 2am & it starts back up at 5am. Extremely noisy area.

This place is in an awesome location. Tons of restaurants, bars and shopping all within a 10 min walk. Walk to the Presidio is great. Great neighborhood. The room was spacious but needed a fresh coat of paint. That’s what made it look dirty. Staff was extremely friendly and gave us great suggestions on taking bus and keeping you car parked in your spot. Thank you Nema.

The staff was friendly enough. Parking is first come first serve as they have fewer parking spaces than rooms, so check in early and don’t leave. This is by far the noisiest motel we have ever stayed at. We heard every word, every step, each burst of laugher from the group partying in the parking lot, in the stairwell and in the room above us. We finally gave up trying to sleep and left the hotel at 3:30 a.m. Also, we found a dead cockroach in the bathroom.

Suggestion is to get contact less check in with keypads in the doors. But then we wouldn't of meet the owner which is what made the stay all that much better!

I had to book a room last minute to attend an awards ceremony for my work and The Greenwich Inn had a couple good rooms left at a great price. My room was upstairs but near the front part of the eastern portion of the hotel. My room was clean, quiet and perfect for my stay. I had a good view of the street and sky which let in some natural light which is always welcome. The manager on duty was quite nice and forthcoming with information about the hotel and options during my stay. The hotel is near 3 major bus routes and near the Marina and Cow Hollow which offer a varied selection of independent and chain stores and restaurants and bars. The hotel also has parking for the rooms, you just need to let them know that you have a car. It is first come first serve and there aren't enough spots for everyone but there are nearby parking garages that you pay by phone. I highly recommend this hotel if you are in the city.

Yes, parking was available and much appreciated. The Greenwich Inn is a perfect location for shops, restaurants and easy access to everything on the list. AND very reasonably priced.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Room was clean and spacious. At times the outside noise/sounds may leak into the room however it wasn't too bad. Overall a great stay. The staff was very accommodating. Will be staying again.

Room was very clean. Area feels very safe. The lady at the front desk greeted me with the warmest smile and friendliest energy that you could ask for. Lots of restaurants and shops in close proximity with the Warf within a mile away. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was huge. Water pressure could use improvement and there were a few things that had little nicks and things that didn't bother us at all but some looking for perfection might be bothered by. The one thing that was concerning was that the outlets in the room seem to go out after a certain amount of time. I use oxygen and my machine was plugged in but ran out of power because the outlet stopped working at some point. I did notice this with two of the outlets in the room. You can hear everything outside the room, including the person getting dressed in the unit overhead until they walked right out to the car down the stairs and hit their alarm. My cousin slept right through it. Overall, if I could figure out the electricity, I would definitely stay again.

The rooms were outdated. The floors are peeling and warped. The shower stall had mold. The mattress was too stiff for my liking. Woke up in the middle of the night with a sever back ache. Very small room for the price. To me this was a 50 or 60 dollar night hotel.

Great value motel in a convenient location close to restuarants and laundromat. Lady on reception was very helpful. Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. No breakfast but pastries and juices freely available. Parking could be a bit tight if busy.

The breakfast could be improved a bit, perhaps by varying the pastry so it doesn’t feel repetitive.

The hotel was nice and clean, the beds are very comfortable. Everything you could need is a very close walk away! The only negative was you can hear everything outside, fire station is around the corner and rowdy party goers saturday night at the bars down the street so bring ear plugs if you are light sleeper. Oh and fridge does not have a freezer. Would recommend and would stay again.

Motels can be dicey but this one is great. Comfortable rooms and beds and extremely an friendly and helpful office staff.

Location in Marina District off Lombard Street near Golden Gate Bridge. Economical. Safe ckean neighborhood.Convenience store across street. Staff very friendly and helpful, even called me to alert to move my car from street red zone. Free parking, subject to availability, otherwise on street. Home Plate popular breakfast spot walking distance away. Can't go wrong.. All was great! Highly recommend for basic comfort.

The room was on the smaller side but ideal for two! Perfect for a couple that just needs a place to stay while being out and about. There was fairly a good amount of parking as well, we lifted to our destination so we had a parking spot saved. The hotel was also walkable distance to plenty of stores too! We were able to walk to Walgreens and a ramen restaurant. The staff was nice when we checked in, gave us destinations, emphasized the parking and hotel room, etc. Everything else was good! We utilized the fridge and microwave, shower was interesting as well but worked great, bed was comfy, etc. I couldn’t make any complaints! The only thing is the area was a busy spot! Outside was quite loud in the morning but we knew what we were signing up for! Nothing about the hotel/ room was bad though!

It's not that I didn't like it, but parking is limited so on full nights it can become an issue...but it wasn't when we were there.

Thought location was decent. It’s basically a motel. Bfast is bad coffee and mass produced packaged cinnamon buns/danishes, package iatlmeal and water. Our room had crack in floor, broken light panel in bathroom and worst was every guest when using the outside stair area to Carry Loud conversations at full volume at 1 am. Carry earplugs, but that doesn’t fully drown out loud people…

Location is great. The Wi-Fi in the room was horrible. I recommend walking one block to either Starbucks or Pete's Coffee. The room was massive, which was a plus. But the overall area is pretty dilapidated and old and not the cleanest. But it's definitely not a luxurious place to stay. Just a heads up.

The room was ok, no artwork on the walls and the “desk” was more like a ledge. Had a queen bed with 3 pillows and when we asked for an extra pillow they said they didn’t have any. Our room was clean and well stocked. The room didnt have carpet, which I like because I can tell that the floor is clean. Also, the staff at this place is amazing. This was our second time staying there, and both times the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. I really appreciate them.

The front desk clerk was great super nice ans helpful with information of the city and our surroundings.very sweet and gave us a good room .out tv was not working at first they were quick to fix the issue.

Rooms are clean, housekeepers are friendly and location is pretty quiet (only could hear the occasional car speeding by). But the most memorable part of our stay was the front desk girl (I wish I got her name!!) She was SUPER friendly and really helpful with tips and must see places .... She made a lasting impression on us and are grateful to have had her as part of first trip to SF. I'll be sure to stay here for all future trips and recommend it to all my family and friends!

This is a wonderful, budget friendly place to stay for the night! It’s walking distance from so many things and the staff was incredible! We’re traveling with a u haul and trailer and they were kind enough to help us out with parking and accommodated everything we needed. 10/10 experience!!

We travelled all across the US on this trip and we had very poor reception at most hotels but Greenwich Inn was excellent. The lady at reception was amazing and it was lovely to talk to her. She gave us tips and was very kind. We also had a nice room with enough towels for 3 of us which didn’t happen in any other hotel. I would stay again!

We got a room with a window facing the back alley, not the street side, which made it much quieter at night and felt more private - if you can ask for a back facing room in advance. The room itself was spacious and clean, with nice bed linen and towels, lots of soap, shampoo, lotion etc. The shower was nice and clean, with instantly hot water and good water pressure. The person at the front office was very nice and genuine, explaining at length how to keep ourselves and our belongings safe. If that bothers you, it could easily be resolved by bringing earplugs. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Room did not have a working smoke alarm. This is the same condition as my last stay last year. No table lamp on the bed stand. Light in sink nook not working. Light in shower room very weak. Mattress broken down.

Great price (booked 2 months in advance for a work trip.) and convenient location. Noisy in the evenings but to be expected with a motel-style location in a busy neighborhood. Shower water pressure was lacking - but that's an issue in most hotels. Nice owner. Safe location. Would stay again.

Came in with no one at front desk and door locked, rang the bell a couple of times,as could not tell if it was actually working. The front desk manager came out telling me off and saying "once is enough". Might want to consider putting a sign outside door "ring only once".

Very disappointed the property would not hold our bags after checkout Sunday while we had lunch since our flights were at 4 pm. Have done so numerous times before at this property, and then denied with no warning and no other option other than to drag bag around. Will now have to find more accommodating accommodations in this neighborhood.

We where in San Francisco because wife was having surgery on her knee. The staff did not want to give me extra towels. Manager came by asking why i need so many towels. I dont understand what the problem was regardless. But wife had to shower night before surgery and day of surgery and needed towels on the floor so she could stay clean. Bed was very uncomfortable.

We had a pleasant stay with a very accommodating and friendly management staff named Neehma and Manny. They spent time to direct us where to go to find places to eat close to the hotel and where and what bus to take. The room was clean with a good smell when we walked in and they gave us fresh towels the next day without asking them coz we were out and emptied the trash cans. The location was clean and felt safe and quite walking around at night heading to the hotel which is the important to us traveling as family.

Staff excellent and helpful! Rooms small but updated Shower was great I didn’t like the fact that the bathroom floor was not mopped and foot mat was not changed after our second night ( the floor was damped and had dirt on it from my tennis shoes and after returning from sightseeing you could tell the floor had not been mopped and the Matt was folded on the shower step) The walls are very thin and could here ppl in there rooms but otherwise it was a nice stay and would recommend!

The bed has a huge red stain on the comforter that seeped through to the sheet underneath it that made me think it wasn't even washed. The room was loud even though I was on the second floor. I could hear my neighbors talking and slamming their door. The street was noisy and you could hear the horns from the ships. The soap dish has pieces of hair on it.

The staff was very friendly. We had an issue with our room (cable didn't work) and we were able to switch rooms immediately with no fuss at all. Parking was good. Individually wrapped pastries for breakfast and coffee/juice was nice as well. Bed was comfy. The AC unit was very loud in the 2nd room but it wasn't a deal breaker.

Totally our fault for not checking ahead of time to confirm, but this hotel will not let you drop bags ahead of check in. We arrived at 10:30 in the morning, check in wasn't until 3. We had to haul our bags around town all day in the rain. Also, this hotel is next to many bars and restaurants, and there are people walking by at all hours of the night, screaming to the top of their drunken lungs. Just FYI. Room was very small, carpet could use a shampoo, but bedding was clean and the room was otherwise clean and comfortable. There was no extra locking device on the door like at other hotels, so that was a little concerning since our room was ground level, steps from the main sidewalk.

And shout out to the lovely receptionist! I casually asked her for food recommendations, and she walked out of the office and started pointing out restaurants based on our group's dietary needs.

It was a good stay! We were in walking distance to a lot of cute shops, restaurants, etc. easy to jump on the buses or walk to fisherman’s wharf. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The only bad thing was that on our second night someone walked into our room. I was in the middle of changing and they walked right in with a room key that was given to them by the front desk. This is a HUGE invasion of privacy and left me completely shocked and uncomfortable the rest of the stay. The front desk said it was a system error and just brushed it off without even an apology. It was a bummer because we loved the staff and felt comfortable at the hotel but that was unacceptable

First time here and I loved it. It is a very safe are to walk at night. About 17 minutes from pier 39. The room was more than what I expected as soon as I walked in it smelled clean and everything looked very modern. Room is small but perfect if you are staying for a night of two. Service was polite and welcoming. If you are choosing this place because of the breakfast I suggest you take your own goodies because they only provide coffee and a small bread. Luckily their is a Market literally a minute away, walking distance (in the corner). They have a small fridge and a microwave. Definitely coming back to this place when I visit San Francisco

Customer service was excellent. We also checked in late at the hotel and the Lady was excellent. She also give us some tips of nearby restaurants and the near by tourist locations.

Great place to stay, such a good deal tho! Pretty close to everything, a lot of restaurants close by, they have free parking, they included breakfast (juice, coffee and cakes). The room was excellent, very nice, comfortable and clean. The lady in the front seat was pretty friendly, check in/check out was easy. I would recommend this hotel!!

Hotel was in a great location within walking distance to several attractions including the golden gate and the palace of fine arts. There were many dining options in the area, and the staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again.

One of the reasons we decided on Greenwich Inn was that breakfast was included in the price. We wanted to save a little money, by being able to have a decent breakfast. I was well aware that it would not be a 5 star meal. However, it left much to be desired. When we book the room, the details indicated breakfast for two. The hotel should be more specific & state they offer a continental breakfast. The reviews we viewed prior to booking, stated the breakfast offered was cereal, danishes etc. Which we were fine with. Well, it turns out breakfast here is an assortment of danishes - coffee creamer & sugar. That’s it. You need to purchase your own water in order to make coffee in your room. I get it - we are in Covid. However, breakfast bars, instant oatmeal, yogurt or something along those lines would have been sufficient & nice. The stay was ok. I don’t foresee staying here again.

This hotel is located in a great area full of wonderful places to eat, and within walking distance of most of San Francisco’s tourist attractions, with easy access to public transportation. The staff in the office were very friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean and quiet.

They do not allow early check-in but they did allow us to park in the lot early and walk around town. The room was very clean, although somewhat aged. We had a fridge and microwave. The coffee maker was broken. The shower was a walk-in and very large. The bed was comfy and the TV worked well and was large. The people outside were noisy but it got quiet around 11. Overall a good value.

The hotel is close to several restaurants, it has a convenience store across the block, also is close to several tourist attractions.

The property was clean, had a mini fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. The location was within walking distance to several restaurants. I liked that parking was included in the price of the room, however, parking is limited so we had to park early in the afternoon or lose a spot, but walking was not an issue since the neighborhood seemed safe. I would definitely stay here again.

It's a great place for the money and location. Beds were above average and that's maybe the best thing about this place. Linens were dirty when we arrived, and the management would not give us fresh linens--we had to wait until the following morning for fresh linens when the help arrived. TV and phone didn't work but the management was awesome about sending someone over fast to fix this. Great restaurants close by. Russian Hill not too far away and there are good restaurants there as well. It's close to bus stops. Free pastries in the morning were tasty. It was quiet. I would whole heartedly recommend this to families on a budget. It's much, much better than a Motel 6-type of room. If it were not for the refusal to provide us fresh linens, I would have rated it excellent instead of pleasing.
