Location is perfect! Most everything you want to see is a few minutes walk or train ride away. Not many amenities are available if you plan to spend extended periods of time in the hotel, and it can get a bit noisy at night, but a great home base for all your city adventures. The food selection in the area is the true prize!
- 4/5
No iron/ironing board, but great location and decent room/shower for the money!
- 3/5
Liked that it was in Chinatown. Property is ok, but a little dingy. Not like the pictures at all.

Lobby seems to be the only clean place. Easy check in. The rooms are not the best, there were stains on the floors, on the bed sheets, and on the walls. Not sure of what. Windows do not lock completely. Very loud. Beds are really hard.
- 5/5
No fridge or microwave. Also no AC. There is a fan so I wasn't too hot. Very nice though. Clean and updated. Elevator was small and out dated though.
- 5/5
Perfect for our 1 night stay during a layover in San Francisco. The location in the heart of Chinatown was great. Room is quite small but had good wifi, a nice shower and everything we needed. The receptionist at check out was really nice. Good value by San Francisco standards. Most importantly, we arrived quite late at night for our one night stay so it was very nice that the hotel let us check out later so we had more of a chance to explore the city! Definitely recommended! All was good
- 5/5
Perfect for anyone wanting to visit Chinatown. Well maintained older building. Staff is great with helpful information about local eats and more modest local eateries. Had to check out earlier than expected but cancelation of my reservation was no problem and refunded the balance with no problems. Can't say enough about how good my stay was.
- 5/5
Very friendly and helpful front office staff. Very neat and well maintained property. Small room yet very hygienic and comfortable. Located very near to all beautiful places and feeling very grateful for this.

Very fair room with good conditions for an extremely reasonable price

It’s an old hotel. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable but small. They offer free coffee in the morning.
- 4.5/5
Staff and location coffee Small fridge and microwave would've been great
- 5/5
Súper lindo
- 5/5
Basically no street parking, but many parking garages nearby with open spaces at reasonable prices. As far as the rooms, I paid a bit extra for the deluxe rooms and was not disappointed. There do exist more barebones rooms for a cheaper rate, but I'm always under the impression that you get what you pay for. All in all, if you're just looking for a place to store your things and lay your head in your travels, the Grant Plaza Hotel gets it done!
- 5/5
Safe, convenient and fun location with good rooms
- 4/5
Very good
- 3/5
Hotel was clean and staff was kind and helpful. The beds are very firm. Maybe too firm for most people. No AC in the rooms means you will need to open the windows if you run hot and the street noise can be very loud at night but what else can you expect for being in the middle of chinatown. Location was great being close to a lot of great food.
- 4/5
If you just need an affordable, clean place to sleep at night then this place fits the bill. The rooms are very small and there are virtually no amenities, just a TV (with a relatively small amount of channels) and liquid soap and shampoo in the shower. No mini-fridge or microwave, but it DOES have its own bathroom, which most other similarly priced hotels in SF do not have. No breakfast, snacks, or drinks of any kind. Definitely not a place to while away the hours, but a good, affordable place to bed down after a full day of activities.
- 3/5
The hotel is located in a pretty nice location, lots of places near by and restaurants. The hotel needs to be cleaned really well, it’s pretty dusty and not kept well. The hotel is also pretty worn down and there aren’t very many amenities to speak of, there’s an ice machine, vending machine, and the tv has a handful of working channel, no smart tv option. The bed is rock hard, at least for me and the shower is tiny but it’s a good price for what it is.

Location great - Right in the heart of Chinatown. Staff extremely cordial and helpful!

Location was good, but rooms were not to spacious.
- 3/5
Elevator is very old Although it was paid in full before we arrived to the property, we have to give an extra deposit of 50 dollars . There is not restaurant or any thing that justifies to give extra money

Yes. It is at the entrance of Chinatown.

- 3/5
Convenient area for access to restaurants and public transit. Staff were kind and helpful. Hotel was clean and felt safe. Rooms were very small with no air conditioning, noisy radiator for heat, and no screens in windows. Walls were thin and could easily hear neighbors moving around and talking. Bed was quite firm. It was sufficient for my purposes (4 night stay for a conference) and very affordable, but it is quite basic.
- 2/5
Extremely Hard Bed, Difficult to unload suitcases at front entrance due to city traffic and available parking; difficult to “Lug” luggage from a nearby parking garage due to extreme steep hills/roads, if your young and strong the location is probably great, it is at the edge of Chinatown, No Fridge, Microwave or AC, Extremely loud traffic noise through the night due to old windows, Hotel Staff was trying their best to be helpful especially Ricky
- 3/5
Hotel centrally located, good price, responsive staff, house keeping okay and free wifi. Double beds were too small. Queen size would be better.

Loud as hell, stuffy with windows closed, and scary with windows open. Gross smell in lobby and rooms. Curtains stained with mystery white stuff and layered in dirt. Tiny fuzzy tv with mostly news channels. The bathroom was pretty clean and WiFi worked well and close walk to financial district
- 4/5
A fantastic place, warm, cozy, close to shops, food, drink, public transportation. Slept like a baby. Woke right in the center of Chinatown, and 20 minutes from their pier using public transportation. Oh and it's moderately priced. I was actually booked at another hotel that turned out to be horrible. So when a roach ran across the floor at 1:30am i knew it was time to scram!! Grand Plaza accommodated and welcomed me at 2am! Nice bathroom, good water pressure, more than adequate lighting in the room. A really nice place! I'll stay there again. Oh and they offered me a discount for my next stay there.

My experience with the Grant Plaza Hotel was great the helpful and nice Thank you a a wonderful experience
- 4/5
Great place.
- 5/5
Every time I go to SF I stay here. The rooms are a little bit smaller. The staff has always been extremely nice and helpful. It's close to everything. Ive never had a bad thing to say about this hotel.
- 5/5
fantastic location.

Coffee place next door is worth a stop too!

There was loud construction in the morning and wasn’t allowed to sleep in because of the loudness of construction. No one warned us about the loud construction

It was a nice little hotel. The room was a little small. The front staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
Small clean room in a fun area of town. The only thing I didn’t like is that the sink would drain slowly.
- 3/5
The rooms are worn and unfortunately we experienced cockroaches in the restroom and another smaller but more numerous bug in the restroom as well.
- 3.5/5
Location was great. Value was great. Room was small
- 5/5
The hotel was a great pick for the price, especially since it is at the location by the financial district. The front desk asked whether we prefer a quiet room and we did get one. The stay was very pleasant overall.

- 3/5
Good location. Terrible, hard beds, rough towels. Thin walls.

This is a comfortable and affordable option in the heart of Chinatown that is close to Union Square and the Financial District and not a very far walk from North Beach. It served us quite well for a 4-day visit.

- 2/5
Bed was extremely uncomfortable. Room was much smaller than pictured. I’ve slept on airport floors that were smelled better and were more comfortable. Moved to another hotel after first night. It’s a shame as the location is great and the issues could be fixed with a decent mattress and some carpet fresh.
- 4/5
We stayed here while in town for a conference. The room was small (just big enough for a bed, shelf and nightstand), but very functional. The bathroom was good - great water pressure and plenty of hot water. If we had spent time in the room beyond showering and sleeping, it wouldn't have been ideal, but especially for the price it was a good home base while in the city.
- 2/5
Good place but could use some upgrades
- 2.5/5
Musty odor in the rooms. No central air conditioning. I had to borrow an air freshener from the front desk and keep all the room windows open. The room was clean, but it was small, carpets & wall paint were old and worn out. The bathroom & shower stall were tiny. This is an old hotel that has not been updated in a while. The location is great and for what hotels cost in San Francisco during the week of RSA conference, it was fine, but I'd not stay there again. Everything :)
- 5/5
Perfect location near everything
- 3.5/5
Location, cleanliness, price Room was smaller than the one I had last year, elevator was out of service several times during my stay
- 3.5/5
Good location and kind staff. Everything was clean. The bed was like a rock and the room was very small.
- 5/5
We were happy with this hotel, and I would stay again. It's a perfect location, good value for SF. The only thing I didn't like was the room type I was assigned; I booked a room with a city view, but we were given and inside room with only a ventilation shaft window. We arrived late for a two night stay, so it wasn't worth arguing about.
- 2.5/5
Staff was incredibly gracious, friendly, and accommodating. Rooms were very clean. Tv malfunctioned and would randomly scan channels. Limited tv channels available. Bed was incredibly stiff and felt like sleeping on plywood. Bathroom shower extremely cramped. No air conditioning in my room as it’s controlled by the building with only ability to cool room down is opening the window to extremely loud street noises.
- 2/5
Tiny room no in room fans or Air conditioning. Thin walls and almost no in room amenities
- 3/5
Served its purpose for a low rate and good location. The elevator was broken and we were on the 6th floor.
- 2/5
The sink would not drain. No AC so very hot. Curtain was not hanging properly. The baseboards were chipped. The sheets had stains. I stayed 5 nights. It was to have housekeeping every other day. Never happened. Staff said I have to tell them. According to signage was automatic. Should have received a discount.
- 4/5
Clean, nice staff, good location. Elevator was small and no amenities.
- 3.5/5
The kind service from the staff at check in, great location in a safe neighborhood Older building meant it could be loud with regards to creaking floors and water running.
- 5/5
My third time of staying at the hotel. Great location and friendly staff. I highly recommended!
- 4/5
I wouldn’t stay here for a romantic getaway. But for a solid clean one night stay on a business trip, it was absolutely fine. Would stay again.
- 4/5
Convenient to wharf and Chinatown No complaints it was what I expected
- 3/5
Great
- 4/5
Yes on plentiful shops. Parking hard to find on the street but parking buildings near by.
- 4/5
Thin windows, we vould hear cars and people on the street, we stayed on the 2nd floor.2
- 5/5
Staff is amazing and attentive to your needs. Room is clean. The location of the hotel is perfect there are shops surrounding the area, and its safe.
- 3/5
It was also smaller than i thought it would be.
- 5/5
Everything was great!
- 3/5
No AC too. It got pretty warm in the room when it was 76F outside
- 5/5
We had a great stay for a reasonable price. The location is
- 3/5
a building next door was my view, microwave provided was 6 floors down
- 2/5
Great location, extra small rooms, uncomfortable beds.
- 4/5
great budget stay, close to lots of food places and markets!
- 5/5
Very clean, centrally located in Chinatown, microwave and fridge downstairs to store leftovers when you go down for tea or coffee. Second time there. Rather spartan, great value for the money.
- 5/5
Great staff and a fair price!!
- 2/5
Pictures online dont match real room. Bed too hard. No thermostat no ac misleading ad on site regarding room quality and feature. Location and staff were both great but you get what you pay for in an untenovated 10
- 4/5
Clean room, location, and price.
- 1/5
I had cockroaches in my room two nights.
- 5/5
Staff was very nice and in a great location
- 5/5
Yes the room we very clean i was very happy with one of the front desk staff her name is Winnie she was very helpful she got me in fast and she was very friendly. In a good way i will be back over there soon
- 4/5
Clean and good location. We parked at a parking garage on Jackson Street. About 11 minutes walking distance, not bad. Other cars were damaged, broken glass. Scary situation and not safe! Make sure to check with the hotel about their parking options before booking. They might have a better option.
- 4.5/5
The location was 10+ A little difficult getting to passenger unloading
- 4/5
Room was clean as were the bed & towels... Really good location in the heart of chinatown... good deal with nearby parking garage arranged by hotel.
- 5/5
Friendly staff nice interior and great location
- 3/5
Wasn’t expecting the room to be so tiny uncomfortable beds no air or heat unit paying to park after paying the room is crazy should’ve been less of a cost but cool I guess
- 5/5
Amazing staff spotless room but honestly the best was how kind and understanding they are
- 5/5
Great value walking distance to most things downtown. Clean and nice staff.
- 4/5
Beds were not soft, no air conditioning. Cleaning was great, but did notice some stains on carpet. The weather was great so No air conditioner needed. Staff was professional and heldul. I came on Superbowl weekend so it was a great trip close to all events, & shopping, subways. Trolly
- 3/5
Room wasn't in good condition. There were dust everywhere, the sink was clogged. Fix it!!! The temperature in room also was cool for shower.
- 3/5
Great location! Staff were great, rooms were outdated but the staff definitely do their best in keeping it clean.
- 3/5
The room was good, I thought the parking was included but had to pay for the stay
- 3/5
The hotel is built in a very old building, its facilities are old, they don’t even provide coffee machine for making coffee or hot water, the bath towel looks bad and old. But this hotel is located at the center of San Francisco area, and very convenient, it close by the finance district, China Town and shopping area
- 5/5
Great deal for Downtown/Chinatown area of SF
- 2/5
Great staff, just old and dusty smell inside the room. Thin walls so everything can be heard, also expired elevator certificate.
- 5/5
Very clean , very comfortable. Staff very friendly
- 5/5
Nice to check out on 12:00
- 5/5
Business friendly
- 0.5/5
what to like ? i did not like it one bit the room was hot , humid no ac no windows to open se we could get air
- 4/5
Location, price, staff Beds
- 2.5/5
Very clunky and old. Towels were so old, they looked grey instead of white. Everything in the room could use an upgrade, including the mattress, shower, walls, curtains (stain all over them). Minor changes could make the room more welcoming and comfortable. Also the room was not cleaned everyday. The value to price was low. I would not recommend this hotel to a friend.
- 4/5
Good location for Chinatown. Pleasant staff. Basic accommodations but very good for the value!
- 5/5
Location
- 4/5
Walking distance to so many great stores and restaurants... I can't name them all. Bonus there is a cute Coffee shop right next door. The Catholic elementary school is just a block or so away so the area is pretty darn safe.
- 5/5
Good city
- 5/5
The room was everything I needed it to be! Front desk service was helpful and nice! Location was impeccable!
- 5/5
Awesome location near everything
- 4/5
The room was cozy. I enjoyed the area of the hotel - Chinatown. The staff was nice and helpful. I would stay here again.
- 4/5
Good central location to get almost everywhere. Bring ear plugs as the walls are a little thin. Frendly accomidating staff.
- 4/5
Good for the price & location esp on NYE. The little tv on the wall had no sound but weren’t there to watch tv anyway.
- 4/5
The bed was to hard and I couldn't sleep and woke up with a budy ache.
- 5/5
Location
- 5/5
Had a great time.
- 3.5/5
Location That parking was far away and very expensive.
- 1/5
The beds were extremely uncomfortable. One of the beds had a noticeable dip in the middle, making it very difficult to sleep. On top of that, we could not properly control the air conditioning, which added to the discomfort throughout the night. Check-in was also frustrating. The front desk attendant seemed very flustered while checking us in and juggling phone calls, and she came across as having an attitude when speaking on the phone. We booked our stay from Friday to Sunday, but after one night of barely sleeping, we ended up booking a different hotel for the remainder of our trip and accepted losing the final night we had already paid for. Overall, this was an uncomfortable and disappointing experience.
- 5/5
Everything was very good
- 5/5
The rooms were pretty clean!
- 2/5
Single beds were quite noisy with any turn in bed . Room was cold with no extra blankets.
- 3/5
Uncomfortable beds, mystery stains on floor and sheets, no heat, elevator down
- 5/5
Grant Plaza is a gem for a night or more offering the upmost simple comfort and entryway to SF. Local merchants are personal and the locals are friendly. Catholic Cathedrals are so very central and if not for the Faith, do so visit for the history and architecture and the culture that built such a beautiful history of CA. It's all still alive!
- 2/5
So, just a heads up to people who are sensitive to cold like me.
- 4/5
Very clean room and helpful staff. Location is awesome in right next to China Town walking street, very convenient with restaurants all around and walkable to many things (cable car view point, cable car museum, ferry building, pier 39, pier 33, etc). The only down side is the blasting car noise from the street at night problematic for people with sleep issue.
- 3/5
Nice central location in Chinatown! However, the walls were so thin that I could hear my neighbor snoring all throughout the nights I was there. The room itself is small and basic, but it’s expected for the price. All in all a good budget option, but don’t expect too much
- 3/5
Tiny room, no temperature control, uncomfortable bed.
- 5/5
Clean room, great view, and incredibly kind staff! I accidentally left a belonging behind, and they were quick and happy to arrange sending it back to me. They even gave us options for our preferred room layout. Amazing team and a wonderful overall experience!
- 3/5
This hotel is basic but suited our needs for a night before travelling to Yosemite. Friendly staff and a great location.
- 5/5
Comfortable and convenient rooms, repeat visitor.
- 4/5
Nice place to be local. And doing things around.
- 5/5
I didn’t say I had a great stay. I had a great check-in. Overall I can assure you I will never stay here. Pictures on the website are nothing to what’s I actually got. This room is a square with no emergency exit path
- 5/5
The guy at the front desk was really nice. The room is clean. This isn’t a high-end hotel, but the price to value seems appropriate.
- 5/5
The room and location was great
- 4/5
Great hospitality from front desk and convenient location also
- 3/5
This is a perfectly serviceable budget hotel. The staff was kind and the hotel was clean but it does not look like the pictures. If you come in expecting a cheap place to rest your head in the center of the city you will not be disappointed
- 3/5
It is so small. I thought parking included, but it is not included. Have very thin wall and you can hear neigbors talk. But cheap so…
- 3/5
Good on budget
- 3/5
Staff on check on was not that friendly and i got transfered from a two bed to a 1 bed. Room was clean.
- 5/5
Great place for the price and location.
- 4/5
This is our third stay at Grant Plaza in the same room each time. It's a convenient budget hotel just inside Chinatown, and we stayed because it's an easy walk to the Masonic for concerts. The desk staff are always friendly and polite. However, it's an older building with little sound-proofing from street noises, and both Friday night and Saturday night during our stay, it sounded like there were drag races right beneath our (closed) windows, and we were on the sixth floor. Also, the beds in our room were beyond firm. Perhaps some rooms have more comfortable beds. We may look at other options next time.
- 3/5
The beds are very hard and small. The bathroom could have used more cleaning but looks newly remodeled.. maybe. The front desk service was very friendly and got us what we needed for the stay. We didn't have a view and the window didn't close tight so the road noise was a lot.
- 5/5
Nice staff. Everything is in walking distance.
- 4/5
Great location downtown convenient to financial district, Embarcadero, Chinatown, and Union Square. Room was clean, tiny, & pretty basic. Front desk staff were wonderful. Good value. I would stay again.
- 2/5
The rooms are very old and small, and do not match the photos on the website, uncomfortable beds. The view from the window is unpleasant, the windows are dirty, the furniture is old, with rust and dirt in some places. There was a terrible smell in the room. The coffee was instant, served in a thermos only in the morning. Parking is difficult and inconvenient. The only good thing was the polite front desk staff. I definitely wouldn’t stay here again.
- 5/5
Nice. Convenient. Thanks.
- 5/5
I had a cozy but comfortable room for three nights in early October 2025. Check in was a breeze. Nice, updated bathroom with great shower, super comfy bed, and steady WiFi. Quiet at night, despite the downtown location. Super close to Chinatown and heaps of public transportation options. Including only one block from the California cable car line. I doubt I could find better value for money in that location. Professional, efficient front desk staff and friendly housekeeping. I would gladly stay again.
- 3/5
Hard to find parking. No air conditioning in room only a portable fan. Bed was really hard
- 4/5
It was a clean room in a central location of SF.
- 5/5
Plenty to do within walking distance. Very close to all the transit lines. Will be staying here again.
- 3/5
Pictures of rooms available on hotels.com do not reflect what you get. They have pictures of superior double rooms on the standard double. This is confusing and hotels.com should check the property is listing the correct pictures. Hotel is conveniently located in the financial district, busy road (noisy) but with ease of access to cable cars, transport and much more.
- 1/5
No ac dirty and old
- 4/5
Awesome place to stay at
- 5/5
Thank you for the hospitality.
- 4/5
Good
- 3/5
The tour busses are at the corner of the street. They have water in the lobby to sell to customers.
- 5/5
the hotel was in a good location, very convenient to go to different locations around the city, metro is just 10 kin walk, coffee shops, super close, the shipping area was great. I walked in the morning and night, it was safe for me , I didn't have any problem. The room was clean.
- 4/5
Good value for the price.
- 2/5
No mini fridge or microwave in the room, no air conditioning, and was not clear on the site that there was no parking, you will have to pay $35 to park in a parking garage 3 blocks away and then walk your bags and luggage all the way there.
- 5/5
Good location, cozy rooms, the noise outside can be a nuisance, but the location makes up for it. the rooms are clean and the property is well kept and safe.
- 5/5
I explore the city Chinatown everywhere
- 1/5
No heating
- 3/5
Great location, very clean room. But very noisy during the night and without a refrigerator to keep some water.
- 5/5
All is good. For a night
- 5/5
Clean room
- 4/5
Rooms are small - great location
- 2/5
Room they provided was not the same ine showed during booking. We were 3 including baby but they provided a queen bed, there was no heater in the room, not much cleaned, it was conjusted, no parkig facilities.
- 5/5
If you're a diva it may not be your spot but if you want to be in the center of things for a reasonable price this is the place.
- 5/5
Very nice staff, clean and nice rooms for reasonable rate
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
Definitely enjoyed the free coffee in the morning because I definitely needed it for sure.
- 2/5
It is very small and you can hear everything. The bed was super uncomfortable.
- 5/5
Very convenient
- 5/5
Overall good experience
- 5/5
I had a fantastic experience. The staff were warm, professional, and available 24/7, which made me feel safe and well cared for. Located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood, the hotel offers a restful atmosphere while still being close to restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores. It's also just a short walk to major metro and bus lines, making city travel easy.
- 5/5
Been staying here since 2005.
- 4/5
Good hotel with a nice lobby; rooms are very old but good for the price. In excellent area in Chinatown.
- 4/5
Just in the heart of Chinatown walkable to Pier 39, fisherman’s wharf. Even though breakfast is mot included you can get closeby breakfast.
- 5/5
all good

The location of the hotel was great and within close proximity of a lot of food places.
- 4/5
Hard bed, but after adding padding it was OK
- 3/5
Property needs major updating but befs are comfortable, front dedk staff was great and location us ideal.
- 3/5
Crazy good for the price.
- 3/5
Cheap but small, old rooms. Noise travels quite well, particularly creaking of floor
- 5/5
Nice :-)

Cheap and cheerful in a very central location. If you’re looking for a good, legitimately budget option, this will do the trick. If you’re looking for a bathtub or queen sized or bigger bed, this probably isn’t for you.

A clean budget property in a good location

Worst place I’ve ever stayed at it felt like I was in a jail cell would never ever ever stay there again and don’t let the pictures fool you it looks nothing nothing like what you see in the pictures that’s how they got me I’m telling you they have to be the smallest and tiniest room I’ve ever stayed in and paid over 200 US for it hellz no man don’t do it

Quite good respective of the price
- 3/5
It was ok for its price considering how expensive is San Francisco, in the end you will be there only to sleep since you are going to be walking around. The location is very good, near everything. Sometimes it can be a little bit noisy

It’s was cool alright .. clean and quiet.. no problems
- 3/5
The room had no a/c. The elevator seemed it was on its last leg. The rooms were small.
- 4/5
Excellent place to stay

The front desk at check in was very nice and informative.

We got a way smaller room than what we had payed for and got told that they just didn’t have rooms like the pictures we bought. Elevators sounds like it’s gonna get stuck. Extremely noisy and bad insulated. We’re very disappointed.

Room are so noisy

Had a good experience with the Grant Hotel. the rooms were quite charming. However the twin mattresses could be replaced as I believe they may be due for a swap. Other than that we really liked the location and services that the hotel provided.

It's my home-away-from-home in San Francisco!

The furniture in the room was too old, there was dust and hair in the bathroom... the TV had no sound and there was a smell like cigarettes.

The staff was absolutely fantastic! They were super friendly and helpful. Check-in was a breeze, and they happily answered all my questions especially about nearby discount parking. One of my favorite things about this hotel is its location! It’s surrounded by tons of great dining options and just a short walk to many unique shops and restaurants in Chinatown. Whether you're visiting for work or just for fun, this hotel is a perfect home base. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, updated place to stay with wonderful service!

Great

Lovely place and staff. Nothing fancy, but it accommodated me very well for a conference in town.
- 5/5
The property is nice. The only thing I would say is the TV needs updating as well as the channel selections is very limited.
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Check in at any time, parking around the corner.
- 3/5
very small room, no climate control (radiator would heat the room only in the evening), shower head very low (I had to duck to wash).Room generally clean but the hotel was very dated.

Not went in hotel
- 4/5
Property had a very strong odor and it didn't have heat. If you go at the beginning of the spring the room will be very cold.

In the centre of Chinatown is a great location for getting around San Francisco. The hotel is excellent price for what you get. However the bed is abit too firm for my liking. But I enjoyed staying here as I was out exploring most of the time.
- 3/5
The picture of hotel room is not really correct or at least our room was nothing like this. The hotel is fairly dated and our room was very small and fairly dated. The location is fairly convenient in terms of walking distance to Wharf and downtown which is one of the main reasons I chose it but as hotel is located in china town it was noisy at night. Its good option as two days bolt hole to explore San Fran but its fairly basic option.

The beds were also very very hard - almost as if we were sleeping on the base of the bed not an actual mattress.
- 4/5
Friendly helpful staff. Room basic but had everything we needed. Bed very comfortable. Well located for visiting attractions and restaurants. 30 mins walk to Fisherman’s Wharf. Would use again if in the area.

Within walking distance for what we wanted to do.

You get what you pay for. Great staff with 24/7 concierge, but we came in with a stain on our bed sheets. Staff was willing to have it changed but ended up changing it with another sheet that had stains in other areas. No AC or way for air to circulate in our room as we had only one window located in an alley. Chinatown nights can definitely be loud. Parking is remote but very secured if you plan on leaving things in your car.

Clean room. Fun Street near China town. I would have no trouble staying there again. Terence

Lets just say, you get what you pay for. Its cheap for a reason. Good luck.

The workers were very nice, however the street traffic noise at night was beyond believable! Felt like we were sleeping next to a racetrack or runaway. Shower had dirty shower curtain with mold on it.

Had a nice time. Staff was friendly

Hopefully, they are going to at least provide the basic needs of a hotel accommodation in the future. Thank you.
- 5/5
The best local hotel you will find in SF reasonably priced. Bring you toiletries they only provide soap which keeps prices low. It is in Chinatown one block from the dragon gate. Walkable minutes from Market street. The beds are hard but the room has hot water and heat.

It's a nice, simple place to lay your head.

It was good and the location it great
- 4/5
Very nice just thought elevator was gonna get stuck . Other than that had no issues at all .

It’s an older building but clean and comfortable! Love the staff! Great coffee shop right next door!
- 3/5
Very noisy hotel! Floors creaked whenever someone walked down the hall. Could hear muffled conversations all night one night.

Friendly, helpful staff. Great position to see China Town and surrounding sites.

Dirty, no A/C, no refrigerator, nothing at all. Very terrible hotel. I would not stay this place again. Room very tiny and smell.

No heater or temperature controller

Right in chinatown. Beautiful view and courteous staff. Decent room but bed size was downgraded. Overall good experience.
