Reviews
The hotel is generally well-liked for its historical atmosphere, beautiful views, and friendly staff. However, guests frequently mention long wait times for check-in and a lack of updates to the rooms and amenities, which they feel do not meet the expectations for a 5-star hotel.

Worth every penny to stay in this classic SF hotel that happened to be a stone’s throw from a concert we attended at The Masonic. The staff are particularly attentive and helpful. Even the eye-watering cost for valet parking didn’t really sting in this neighborhood.

Beautiful Hotel, they were kind enough to give is an upgraded room with an amazing view when we checked in for no reason. The area is verry nice as well. Much cleaner and safer feeling than other parts of the city. Their car service was excellent as well. The had black car service available which made traveling in the city much easier.

Emmanuel from the front desk was extremely helpful when we couldn’t get our car out of a nearby garage super early this morning! Him and the staff went above and beyond to find a solution so we could make our flight on time! He walked us down to the garage, helping us with our suitcase and didn’t leave until we had resolved the issue. Aside from the property and hotel having beautiful views, I would recommend solely based on Emmanuel!

Gorgeous! Regal! From the moment we pulled up, my door was being opened and bags taken from the trunk. Excellent service at front desk. This hotel is stunning!! First time there and pics online do not do justice! It's walking distance to so much too! The room was large, elegant and super comfortable . The bartenders were excellent!

Location! Love the fact that it’s next to china town. Location, on top of extremely steep hill. I guess that just SF The room we got could use a freshen up! It was a handicap accessible room, the bath room door may have been hit one time too many. It would not close and could use new paint. The closet door was not level. House keeping may be operating on short staff, bed sheet was not properly tuck, but was covered with blanket?

Our three nights at the SF Fairmont were superb, front desk was immensely helpful, the location is amazing, and amenities were perfect. It was far more reasonable in terms of cost when compared to other hotels in the immediate area. Bravo, Fairmont! thank you for the wonderful hospitality! JM

What’s not to like? It’s the Fairmont after-all. Historic, beautiful, and unlike any other property in The City. $300 incidental fee in an already expensive city may not fit everyone’s budget. Yes, of course it’s not a Motel 6 and $300 is literally nothing to most of the people who stay there. As a regular working-class person, however, it’s got me checking my bank account hoping to see that money back asap.

This hotel is dated and not worth the price that they charge. Had to have them fix the toilet twice and have them fix the sink because it wasn’t draining. The sink shouldn’t have drainage issues at this price and management should check these things. Wallpaper peeling. I get that it’s a historic hotel but I would stay somewhere else. Old school charm is fine but not at their rates. Time has passed this hotel by.

The historic building is amazing. However the staff didn’t know anything about the history of the building. The prices are all insane and the quality doesn’t match the price. A Caesar salad is just some chopped lettuce and croutons for $27. There was zero design or flavor or anything. For that high of a price for food, the quality needs to be there. Other food items are seriously lacking as well. The 5 star rating needs to match all aspects. Not just be used as a mask to overcharge people. The room service sucked and they kept getting requests wrong, it was just a lot of hassle. Then in the morning the staff that refills the mini bar knocks on the door at 8am. And if you don’t answer, they open the door. Even though checkout is at 11. It was more about a hotel that doesn’t communicate with their staff and the hospitality of the hotel itself is seriously lacking.

The Fairmont Hotel San Francisco is a gem. We were welcomed to this gorgeous hotel with Katherine at the front desk, who upgraded us to the most incredible room suite in the tower. This room had a separate bedroom with a pull out couch in the living room for my son. The windows had 180 degree views of the city. The views started at the Golden Gate Bridge to Coit tower just in the bedroom!! In the living room there was a corner view of the ENTIRE city. The curtains were electric so when they opened every morning it was an epic show of the city. We were thrilled to have such an awesome upgrade for my mom's 88th birthday. Special memories were made with my 14year old son and birthday mom. We had a lovely welcoming staff. William was the most knowledgeable doorman. He knows everything about San Francisco. Charlotte is the concierge that gave us excellent suggestions for restaurants. She even walked over to a restaurant to make sure my mom's birthday dinner was reserved. The superstar of this whole experience was Katherine. She was kind, gracious and even teary when we were raving about how her chosen room made our trip. Mom cried to her expressing how grateful she was for her upgrade. We cannot say enough good things about the Fairmont San Francisco. Go now and enjoy San Francisco from the best location in the city.

Standard room did not have any view but was otherwise fine. Very classic historic looking building. Tonga Room bar is a fun "cruise ship" vibe. - 1.5/5
Location and staff were wonderful The room was falling a part and old in so many ways. I have stayed at many Fairmont properties and in luxury hotels around the world. This was so disappointing. Our ceiling had multiple areas of water damage and cracked, chipping paint. The bathroom had dark mold in multiple grout locations and I questioned how long it had been since it was properly cleaned and inspected. The desk chair material was literally shredding off. There were no bathrobes provided. Despite being a guest and paying a lot per night to stay, the gym was not included in the cost.

We had a good stay at the Fairmont. Room was very clean and they provided nice amenities, ie. iron, steam machine, robes, umbrella (didn’t use). There is a beautiful lobby and all staff were very friendly. The only downside is that the room walls are paper thin. We could clearly hear our neighbors having a normal conversation. Fortunately they weren’t being loud at late night or too early in the morning.

Stayed here for two nights over Christmas. Nice hotel, but nothing special for a 5star hotel. Clean but not super clean. Water leaks in the basement , trash in the corridor stayed longer than it should have. Most importantly - what’s up about the gym? Showed up one day - it was closed… couldn’t do my workout. Showed up the next day to learn that I should become a member and pay 20 per person just to go to the gym. Not an experience that I would expect from an expensive 5star hotel. Gym should be free, no hassle, and open at all times.

cons - the whole hotel needs renovation. the desk chair was falling apart. linens on bed felt kinda meh. towels were nice though. i used the sauna and the light in it was fall off the wall and super rusty. we got room service and they messed up our order - no cheese and mike was pretty explicit about it and there was cheese. also the TV was broken, like it functioned but the bottom 1/4 flickered black the entire time. the coffee shop you get a $10 credit at but the coffee shop itself has a 2.7 on yelp. i think they jack up the price on everything so your $10 credit goes nowhere basically. a plain croissant was $10. i got an orange juice for $8 purely just so we didn’t waste the credit. i got there ~1 hour earlier than mike and the menu said light bites at the bar from 12-3 so i sat at the bar after confirming this with the host stand. then the bartender said “oh the menu is outdated and the front staff was not right” so i left bc i was hungry. no food service in the restaurant from 2-5 at all. restaurant itself is gorgeous though. tonga room which is clearly the highlight and i’ve been before was closed sun - tues which is kinda a bummer but whatever, we went to another bar down the block.

My partner and I checked in the night before our wedding with high hopes of having a memorable stay at the Fairmont. After waiting in a long line to check-in, we received no acknowledgement of this occasion or were not asked if we were celebrating something special, despite our note at booking. There were a stack of dirty plates left outside the room when we checked in and were not picked up until 10pm that night. We also called shortly after arriving in our room to receive an ETA on when our bags would be brought up, and received a very ambiguous and unprofessional response. The shower was also backing up with water. Overall, we are very disappointed in our stay. We have had better stays at 2 and 3 star hotels.

After spending over $500 a night—the lower end for this hotel, there is no coffee in the room. The cafe had a 45 min wait to grab a cup of brew. Service was extremely slow. The public should have selective viewing hours for holiday decor-I could hardly get to the front desk when checking in. And the curtains in our room did not close.

From the main valet (who has been there 40 years) who greeted us at the door, to the check in desk to the waiters at the restaurant and bar - ALL were delightful! The main valet made us feel so welcome with his enthusiasm and Holiday cheer!
- 2/5
Hotel lobby was packed with people. Line to check in was long. We were early and room wasn’t ready but we were told housekeeping was aware and we would receive a text when it was available. 4pm came and went with no text. Although we had already been checked in and just needed the key we had to wait in line for another 20 minutes at reception. Finally got into room at 4.50pm and had to rush to get ready for dinner across town at 6pm.
- 5/5
Enjoyed our stay, the room, and the holiday decorations. The welcome from the staff was what one would hope for, but seldom get. Truly nice and caring people from valet, luggage handlers, bartender, and waiter. These people made our stay wonderful and memorable.

The $60 dollar breakfast buffet was cold and it was just eggs and bacon and bread Service was slow it all over the place The wallet took over an hour to get my car
- 1/5
They won’t let me check in. I’m sitting in the lobby because they won’t take Apple Pay as an incidental payment and they won’t type in my credit card and they said that the chip is stripped.
- 4/5
Also - Fairmont used to provide guests with slippers in the rooms; why has this stopped? And bar service at the Laurel Court was not up to bar on two of the three nights I was there - the bartenders were both frantic and claimed not to know how to make some basic cocktails when it was clear they just thought it would take too long to make them. Not the Fairmont standard of professionalism to which I have become accustomed.

- 3/5
We felt like this property needs more upkeeping. Needs maintenance all around. One example are the buttons on our room phone that connect you to valet, lobby and room service didn't work. Eventually figured out there was a tablet you need to navigate for these services. Best to change these dated phones out. Staff at check-in, lobby restaurant & gym seemed somewhat unprofessional & unmotivated. The valet was severely understaffed. Took 30 minutes, instead of the 10 minutes estimated in our text notification. December is always a busy time. Best to hire more staff to make the experience much more pleasant or at least palatable for both sides.
- 5/5
Front desk was supper nice during the check in

The staff was great - pleasant and efficient. We walked quite a bit to and from the hotel but that is not for everyone due to the steep hills.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this beautiful hotel. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Every staff member went above and beyond to make our stay feel special. But what absolutely stole my heart was the Christmas décor. It was truly magical—like stepping straight into a holiday movie. Sparkling lights, stunning trees, festive details in every corner… it felt whimsical and full of joy. The atmosphere alone made our stay unforgettable. If you’re looking for a place that delivers both luxury and heartwarming holiday charm, this hotel is a dream. I will absolutely be returning and recommending it to everyone one i know thank you for a wonderful stay. everyone I know

I have not stayed in this hotel for probably 16 years. Back then for business, and I do not recall the stay at all. However, this was a family trip over the holidays. The hotel is iconic. Very busy as it is a destination for people over the holidays to see the holiday decor and particularly the real gingerbread house in the lobby. The rooms were very clean and functional. Staff and service were outstanding, even in such a busy holiday environment. The hotel is relatively close to about everything, and right on the cable car routes. Would definitely stay here again.

This place is coasting on its laurels and history. The service was terrible. $25 charge to heat up my left overs. Requested room service and it took more than an hour to arrive. Paid extra for a nice harbor view and got placed lowest possible floor with more rooftop views than harbor.

We were so disappointed in our 3-night stay here. The Fairmont used to be THE hotel in San Francisco, known for impeccable service, old world charm and elegance. What we found was a rundown understaffed hotel with a cheap Las Vegas hotel ambiance. Despite paying top dollar rates, we were given a room next to the elevators so the sound of them going up and down went on all night. At one point, a yapping dog in a nearby room went on for hours. The room amenities were sparse - robes were provided but not slippers; bathroom fixtures were low quality - the shower water pressure was so strong that it almost hurt, and lowering it meant getting cold water, the toilet seat was unsteady and cheap, toilet paper was wafer thin. Our coffee cups and pods were not replaced on the second night and nobody answered the housekeeping line and the front desk after a 10-minute wait on the room phone. We only managed to reach the front desk by calling from an outside line. Dinner at the restaurant was a joke - overpriced and very average for plain-looking salmon entrees that came with sparse roasted vegetables and no starch. We waited in line for 15 minutes to check out and we were not even asked if we’d enjoyed our stay. The wait for our car outside was even worse - at least 20 minutes. Never again! We’ll definitely be staying elsewhere on our next visit.

Beautiful Christmas decorations and beautiful rooms. Beds were very comfortable.
- 4/5
$ 112.50 per night for overnight parking was unexpected, even for San Francisco.
- 5/5
Everybody was awesome starting with checking in. Housekeeping, Room Service, breakfast was fantastic. Can’t wait to come back and stay there again. Also the Belman and valet people were awesome.
- 5/5
We would come back for just the hotel stay and location very nice .
- 5/5
Always a great place to stay!

Fairmont San Francisco was amazing! Excellent customer service and accomodations!😍
- 5/5
very pleasant stay. clean rooms, excellent service as it was expected.

The staff couldn't have been more accomodating, professional and kind. Five stars for the staff! I would come back but request a higher floor with a sweeping view of the wharf -- it's spectacular.
- 3/5
the rooms are big, but dates. it needs remodeling. staff professional and friendly
- 5/5
Clean room and the staff were amazing especially Michael in the front desk!
- 3/5
Overall the stay was ok but the hotel is in need of a refurbishment and is not what I would consider 5 start .
- 5/5
A lovely hotel.
- 4/5
Nice room. Great location. Breakfast should include beverages at $45 pp
- 5/5
Great stay - historic property - large rooms for family. I would stay here again!

This was a memory of a previous stay here 25 years ago. Still one of the best hotels in San Francisco. We Waymo'd and used the Cable Cars to get everywhere.

This was my second stay at the Fairmont. My first stay was 5 stars all the way. The second time my room was tiny, the toilet ran, the bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, I called twice to the front desk for help or even acknowledgement of my situation. No return call or outreach. For the price I paid, it was not great customer service. Don’t know if I’ll return. I do believe the primary problem was they were booked up and understaffed. Disappointing.
- 5/5
Five star service timeless decor just lovely the view was like no other from Treasure Island to Marin unreal breathtaking when the lights were on and twinkled it was amazing
- 2/5
I was never given nor told about the refillable water bottles. I wasn’t informed of any hotel credits either. Overall, Checking in did not give 5 star hotel at all. Housekeeping and Christian at checkout did their best to make up for the poor treatment over the course of my stay.
- 5/5
Beautiful, historic hotel. Interesting clientele. Well-maintained, sanitary. Have stayed here many times.

Staff is exceptional!

Fantastic stay made even better by the amazing customer service by Kelsey. Upon check in we were warmly welcomed, and she resolved our slightly complicated reservation with efficiency and a smile. Kelsey epitomizes the grace and elegance of the Fairmont!
- 5/5
Amazing!!!
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean room, quick check in, and easy valet parking. What else can we ask for ? Great hotel
- 3/5
The bathrooms were completely unstocked, we had to call 4-5 times to get them to come 45 minutes later. Despite it being a 2 queens, only one bathrobe. Overall, it was giving airport hotel not fairmont and the whole point of our stay was to have a fairmont experience and this was comically lackluster
- 5/5
Overnight in-out valet parking at $112.50 way overpriced compared to all 5-star SF hotels and NYC Times Square!!
- 5/5
Top of hill and magnificent views
- 5/5
The only minor issue was the exorbitant cost of valeting a car overnight.
- 5/5
World Class Experience. Beautiful building!
- 4/5
Historic beauty. Classy, clean, and close to everything.
- 4/5
But the rooms were musty and a lot of leakage in the lobby area.
- 5/5
Limited food options within walking distance
- 1/5
This hotel is old, tired and dirty, with dates unappealing food options and rude staff. It is overpriced - $75 for a hamburger from room service, $60 resort fee that doesn't include parking, internet or even bottled water. Just completely disappointing in every respect. Even the windows were so dirty you couldn't see out of them properly or even take a photo of the view. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.
- 5/5
Phenomenal property atop Nob Hill. Palatial setting, professional star 5-star service all around. Be sure to visit Mario at the bar, and don’t miss The Tonga Room and Hurricane Bar. Our room was spotless, well appointed (they include a steamer) and had an amazing 180+ view of the city and skyline. Highly recommended.
- 5/5
we stayed in one of the suites with an incredible view of the bay. It was spectacular.. what an incredible historic hotel
- 3/5
The rooms and overall condition of the Fairmont San Francisco fall short of luxury standards. The furniture is worn, with visible damage, and the rooms clearly need better upkeep and upgrades. Even though we stayed in a suite, it felt as if maintaining quality and attention to detail were not a priority. With proper remodeling and repair of the visible issues, the hotel could live up to its reputation, but in its current state, it does not.
- 5/5
Great stay, Tonga Room was fun for dinner, hills were good for the heart!
- 4/5
We always enjoy staying at the Fairmont. The hotel is beautiful. The staff is wonderful. Using the house vehicle for dinner was wonderful and the refillable water bottles are a wonderful gift. The reason I gave it 4 stars is that the sheets had a small stain. We were too tired to ask to have them changed and just adjusted the blankets to sleep. The magnets on the shower curtain are not very strong so the shower curtain hits you when you shower. Other than those two things, it was terrific.
- 5/5
Beautiful property at the top of Nob Hill, lots of transportation options and a beautiful view. We loved the property and amenities. The concierge was also very helpful and we ended up biking all around the city from his recommendation.
- 5/5
The hotel is in need of a bit of remodeling but it is well kept.
- 5/5
Very nice place to stay. Staff was great and friendly
- 4/5
Comfy, large rooms. Solid gym. Decent staff/hospitality. Cafe on site is overpriced (even for Fairmont / SF standards) and underwhelming, but otherwise a solid hotel.
- 5/5
Pretty hotel with friendly staff

Beautiful building and room in a fantastic area. Friendly and attentive staff, live music on Friday night. Would recommend- highly!

I had a wonderful day and was so excited to be there. My room had a weird smell, but I was able to air out with the real windows. Outside of the hallway were what I thought to be cheesy chandelier lights, and with rhinestones. Outside my room the lamp was missing some rhinestones and it really tarnish from how I grew up remembering the Fairmont brand in San Francisco Francisco. The property is Iconic and in general what we expected, an amazing brand and great property that is getting a little dated. Overall the staff was amazing and helpful..all the rooms need is a little love.

We really enjoyed the Conga Room downstairs, and even though we only stayed one night, our group said the hotel’s breakfast and lunch were excellent. Also loved the history of the place and the Tony Bennett statue out front—such a nice touch. Overall, a great experience and I’d definitely stay here again.

Always wanted to stay in this hotel and it did not disappoint. Very courteous staff and felt like they appreciated me staying there.

It's a nice historic hotel but it is run down. The good part was the size of the room and bathroom but the reality is that it is very old and run down.
- 1/5
Everything in all Fairmonts is going to pits , service food quality not worth it even with the gold Accor membership
- 5/5
On the Cable car line Coffee in Restaurant was MEH! Loved our stay
- 5/5
Amazing property, very historic with beautiful architecture. The staff was super friendly, helpful and made my stay very special. I hope I can stay there again in the future.
- 1/5
The staff wasn't pleasant and the building itself is very old. Parking is expensive. You have to pay extra for everything like internet and gym. The Tonga room is old and over priced. The food is medicore. Overall im disappointed staying here and it's suppose to be 5 star. I would not recommend.
- 5/5
I went with my 21-year-old daughter to celebrate my birthday and we had a great three nights stay. We had fun in the Tonga room, we loved our Bayview hotel room, all the staff was very nice and the area around there is beautiful - we will definitely be coming back.
- 5/5
Classic hotel with great amenities.

Loved everything!!! dining options, room and bed comfort, views, amazing staff

Love love love this hotel! It lives up to everything that is said about it. Beautiful and clean with a historic feel. Rooms are well decorated and spacious. Lobby is amazing. Restaurant and bar have delicious cocktails and ambiance.

Great hotel. Impeccable everything
- 3/5
No one picked up the service phone.
- 5/5
I have stayed in other Fairmont properties and San Francisco did not disappoint. Staff was lovely and the room was fantastic - wish we could have stayed longer!
- 1/5
Obligatory $100 valet parking with another $50 in occupancy fees. The neighborhood is lovely but this hotel is overpriced. No
- 3/5
A hotel that is living off its past - not in a good way. We had a day with no hot water. The room was tired. We had a room with a view - sadly the windows had clearly not been cleaned in ages, extremely grimy. Gym had limited opening. Dining options limited - we ate out every meal. Disappointing for such a landmark hotel. I found the application of an amenity fee an insult.
- 5/5
Gorgeous view of bay. Walk to great food. Easy transport to golden gate bridge, chinatown, parks. Excellent staff met all of our needs.
- 4/5
I have always wanted to stay at the Fairmont and enjoyed my stay. I booked a Bayview room and it had a great view. On the pricey side for food and drinks but a comfortable place to hang out with friends.
- 4/5
Remodeling is much needed, my shower water kept cooling and warming on its own and a normal shower was almost impossible.
- 3/5
I’ve had the privilege to stay at 4 other Fairmonts. This one has been the worst. The in room mini bar was missing multiple items and the coffee maker had a half full coffee cup from a previous guest that had started to rot and the stench was nasty. I’ve just come to expect a word class experience from Fairmont and I left this hotel disappointed.
- 5/5
Everyone on staff was helpful, kind and provided above-and-beyond service.
- 4/5
In a week this is the second time we stayed because we loved the location and the hotel. This second time we got one of the renovated rooms. The only issue as I had mentioned before in my previous reviews was the host from the hotel restaurant. They have a terrible attitude !!! In a hotel like this they could do better even if the times are busy. As of for the front desk, bell boys and housekeeping they all are friendly and amazing.
- 5/5
Beautiful well known hotel.
- 5/5
Staff was amazing and extremely helpful. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
We had an amazing time at this iconic hotel. We had a Bayview room that had an amazing view. The room was immaculate and the service exceptional. My only suggestion is that there should be space in the refrigerator for the guest’s items. It is so stocked with mini bar items for which you are automatically charged when you remove them there was no space for a bottle of seltzer or a can of soda.
- 5/5
The hotel is beautiful and very well preserved
- 5/5
Wonderful people working there!
- 5/5
Nice hotel that gave a great old San Francisco experience. Nice and helpful staff. Hotel was pretty quiet. Rooms were big and comfortable. Sheets were scratchy and one of the hotel rooms was pretty warm. Would stay here again.

• Even after receiving new keys, the elevator sensor failed to function, preventing us from returning to our room until a doorman kindly assisted us. • On the third morning, the hot water system was down for several hours, which meant we were unable to shower after the gym or before heading out. • That afternoon, I received an urgent call from the front desk notifying me of a leak issue and that staff would need to enter our room and relocate our luggage. However, most of our belongings were not packed — many items were left out — which made the situation quite stressful and disruptive. I had to return to the hotel to properly pack and oversee the move, which led me to cancel and reschedule my meetings and dinner plans. • After returning, although our room seemed unaffected, the smell was noticeably different. I requested a room change. The front desk kindly offered a slight upgrade, which I appreciated, but by then, it was already the final few hours of our stay.

What an absolutely beautiful hotel! Staff and service were impeccable. Would highly recommend.

Because I’d booked through Expedia and not the hotel directly, they treated me like a 2nd class citizen at check in. As a solo diner in the restaurant I was rushed by the waiter to order my food, and pay the bill - when I was only there because my room was not yet ready. Overall I was not made to feel like a welcome or valued guest.
- 1/5
I was so excited to stay at the historic Fairmont San Francisco but was shocked and disappointed by the poor condition of the room I was put in. Multiple large areas of water damage on the ceiling, a large portion of the wallpaper missing in the bathroom, stain on the head board, peeling paint in multiple places, and an old creaky couch that didn’t look clean enough to sit on. Also strong cold draft coming from the windows. I would not recommend booking here if you are expecting a luxurious experience. I spent one night in the hotel and notified the concierge about the poor condition of the room. The concierge said that they would not put anymore guests in the room until it was repaired and that there was nothing he could do to rectify my situation because I booked the room through Hotels.com. No guest should have such an subpar experience in a “4 star” hotel… the room was clearly not maintained and literally in worse condition than your average a 1 or 2 star hotel/motel. I spent so much money on the room and did not receive the quality of room as advertised online. Spend your money elsewhere.
- 5/5
Loved the view and history of the Fairmont.
- 5/5
Wanted to stay at the Fairmont since I was in Law School 35 years ago. Finally made it back. The Family loved it. Steeped in History. Spend some time in the hallway looking at the photos and letters from past presidents and the world leaders. Super cool place and gorgeous. Divine bed. . . slept like a baby.
- 5/5
Cameron checked us in and was incredibly friendly. He helped us with tips to get into the Tonga Room and was just all around super. We have stayed at this property a few times and have always had an exceptional experience. Thank you for making our stay fabulous! As a bonus, we had exceptional views of the 4th of July fireworks!

I would never stay at this hotel again. It was expensive and very meh. The building is historic and beautiful and the size of our suite was wonderful, but the bathroom was very small, dated, paint was peeling from ceiling of bathroom and room outside bathroom, and the windows facing the street didn’t close completely. They charge a $42/night fee which doesn’t even include WiFi, and when we checked in, we got no notice of the F&B credit that is supposed to be included or the reusable water bottles. I travel to SF all the time and stay at other properties that deliver much greater value.
- 4/5
Lovely property. Will stay again.
- 3/5
Everyone was very congenial Just don’t expect a high degree of quality in the room if you end up staying here All of the knob Hill hotels have perfectly nice rooms and I’ve stayed in all of them at some point or another.

Excellent Experience

I travel a lot and I can confirm this is a great and excellent Hotel!

Unfortunately had the worst sleep due to the walls being paper thin and the neighbours having zero respect for others. We could hear them having sex at 12:30am and then were up blasting their tv, talking loudly by 6am. The room was comfortable and the bed was very comfortable so it’s a shame that the noisy neighbours ruined our experience for

Beautiful property!!

It is art of architecture and good old stile environment that is not ease find out this days. One thing is getting overall impression is absent of bar and small refrigerator in room, that would have number of beverages and specifically mineral water. Sorry to say, I found the single layer and cheapest paper in bathroom that is now seems available on the market. The other issue is a limited choice of food in restrains and bar.
