Hideous, druggies hang in parking area. Toilet when flush just ran all over floor. Bed wasn't my worst experience. But this was 1970-1980's hotel lacking any decent or actual permitted renovation at all. The toilet took 1/2 day to respond and that bathroom had poop water all over obviously. Nobody clean or sanitized it, I could go on and on. The smell was also smoked in forever and still reeks of funk, age and smoke. I already plan on staying 1 hr away from Pomona because of hotel quality. Kids running around like they owned the place, I assume long term rental family and their kid's acted like hoodlums... Stay away or have all you recent shots up to date. It truly wasn't worth the savings, in example I had a Hilton over in Valencia by Magic Mountain.

Staff was helpful, but the room smelled and wasn’t very clean. There was a cockroach on the tv we had to kill.

I will report this unacceptable place for its false advertising and its filthy condition. Stay away!!!!

- 1.5/5
Not much. Broken beds Smelled funky Loud Burn marks in kitchenette
- 2/5
I liked the location because it was close to stores and places to eat. Unfortunately, the room was not well-maintained. There was no remote control when I first got there. I had to walk back to front desk to sort that out twice. The shower head sprayed water out of the tub which created a hazard when you stepped out because the floor was very wet all the way to the kitchenette floor. After finally getting out of the shower, it was evident this was an ongoing problem because there was patch up job on the ceiling and walls to camouflage the water damage. It was obvious the management knows about problem but chooses not to fix it.
- 4/5
Clean, affordable
- 2/5
I don't usually write reviews but people need to know this place is scary. The walls and doors look like public housing or a cheap motel from a nightmare. The toilet and the AC were so loud it kept us up all night. Didn't take a shower. Too scary and dirty. Weird jimmy rigged fixtures. The lady at the front desk is very argumentative. If you dont mind filth and noise, by all means.

The ice maker never produced ice. The pool is supposed to close at 10, I went at 9:15 and could not gain entry. There is a lack of front desk staff as well as subpar customer staff. Only stay here if it’s your last resort.
- 3/5
Vanity sink is not working and as soon as we start using it the water is not draining. Reported few times and one night before the check out day thats the time they fixed it. Shower does not have a shampoo and power outlets are loose.
- 2/5
The staff were very kind and helpful, we had no issue with them. The courtyard had charm. Our issues were with the rooms themselves. The door to our rooms had a sizable gap that allowed any and all smells and sounds from outdoor activities fill the space. It made it impossible to stay out second night. The staff made it very easy to accommodate our change though
- 2/5
Unfortunately, my room wasn't very clean.

Just the homeless people around but it's every where .
- 2/5
Well the very frist thing was the smell when entering the rooms. second was lack of towels and soap in dispencers. also there are alot of areas in rooms that are degrading, bathroom clulking for one. also one to work on is windows that have plywood on them. we felt unsecure seeing these rooms boarded up. When we asked for towels, we were treated poorly about them. we had two rooms one with king and two guest. they had one towel. When went to desk they gave us a hard time saying we needed to trade in the towels to get new ones? the other room we had a queen bed and a king bed four guest. we had two towels. when I asked room service for two towels. we got push back, I had to explain we had only two towels for four people.

There was dog pee smell right next to my bed (by nightstand) so I could smell it all the time. I had to put a towel and an air freshener on top of it so I couldn't smell it. I told them when we checked out and they they gave us 28 dollar credit, which we did NOT receive that. Also the exhaust fans in the bathrooms need new! Every time we are there they never work worth even turning on, or AT ALL. And there is a lot of random people just walking around, digging in trash for recycling, and its obvious that they are NOT paid guests. We like staying here, but the whole place needs simple updating. Thank you

Staff was very friendly. Room was larger than expected. Felt more like an apartment. All in all a good place to stay.
- 3/5
Everything was great until Icouldn't take a shower. The mechanism on tub spout that changes from tub to shower was frozen solid stuck. So, I had to leave without a shower. I can't imagine other guests or housekeeping haven't noticed it.

Lots if homeless people. Didn’t feel safe

Too many kids to know
- 3/5
The rooms could've been a lot cleaner

Big room and quiet.

- 5/5
Great place to stay
- 4/5
The place and room where clean room I like that a lot. I just missed the smart tv to watch the streaming apps.
- 3/5
Staff was friendly, and landscaped grounds are nice, but the room was not maintained well, in need of a deep cleaning and some new drywall in places and a coat of paint throughout.
- 2/5
Bad bathroom lighting. Bathroom electrical outlet did not work. Shower curtain rod very loose and sagging allowed curtain to gather up in tub. Very dangerous to trip on.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly
- 2/5
Lots of dogs, barking etc -did not feel safe on property- rental car was damaged in parking lot
- 4/5
Descent room. A little bit if a musty smell, but it did go away after a while. Would i stay here again: Yes but without kids.
- 1/5
The parking lot, surrounding area looks like skid row and homeless encampment. The front desk staff was nice and immediately let me cancel upon arrival to my room. Animals living in rooms, people with stuff piled up the entire front window. I guess you get what you pay for.
- 3/5
Took whole 30-35 min just to get checked in. There was no other person at the front desk that could check me in. Arrived at 3:55 and was helped until 4:35pm.
- 5/5
The room was very clean
- 1/5
Every room smells like animal urine. The carpets are disgusting do not walk on the carpets soaked in animal urine as well as the air conditioning units.
- 1/5
Every single room smells like animal urine. It's in the carpets, air conditioning units, and walls. Cleanliness is very poor. It's not safe area especially for families with young children. There is a lot of drug addicts and prostitutes that hang around there as well as theft and robbery. The do not give refunds.
- 1/5
I was given a room in a far corner of the hotel, where every door was left open whilst drug and prostitution activities occurred in plain sight. I was verbally accosted every time I walked up and down the stairs as they were full of crackheads hanging out. Not all of whom I believe were officially staying in there. The carpet stained. Cabinets broken. Worst were the sounds of visitors coming and going out all night in various rooms near and next to me. I don’t understand how Expedia can recommend this dump. On the plus side clean sheets, towels and hot water. Every other thing was a negative
- 2/5
We had no water called the front desk no answer walked to the front desk and told them the urgency nobody came to check on it eventually the water started running again

Amazing Staff! Room felt very home like! Only complaint was our lights flickering in the bathroom other than that amazing room! would stay again
- 1/5
We opened the room and the smell was beyond bad we left
- 1/5
overcharged $28
- 4/5
All of the staff are nice and helpful. The room is very large with mini kitchen. Unfortunately the plaster is falling off the walls.
- 5/5
The room was awful! Smelled so bad of cat spraying couldn't even stay in it for 5 minutes. Brian at front desk was incredible. Gave us a different room and sent someone to try getting smell out. He is the only reason we stayed and didn't go somewhere else
- 1/5
There was no soaps, shampoos or conditioner provided. The smell of the room was almost sickening...it smelled like cat/dog urine. The walls in the bathroom was absolutely disgusting(water rotted and more), the ceilings and cobwebs, large cracks across the top...if it was possible i would not of given them even 1 star. Absolutely worst stay i gave ever encountered.
- 2/5
Very friendly staff! Let's get that out of the way first. However, when I walk into the room the floors are disgusting they need remodeling just the whole place needs remodeling I mean just nothing is really new everything's worn out got cabinet peace falling apart you got rust on the hand around in the shower you got the floor peeling against the wall in front of the toilet and just needs a lot of work if they remodel that place it be great other than that no complaints
- 2/5
The room felt old and dingy. It had a horrible smell
- 5/5
The room was clean I love that the room have a fridge and stove and was very spacious will definitely be staying again !
- 4/5

- 2/5
The over all room is showing its age, needs rehab badly. Parking area needed up keep daily sweeping hotel grounds not well kept. doesn't show pride of ownership. staff not to friendly or helpful Will not be my first choice for hotel stay the next time in town
- 1/5
Hotel room was gross, smelled, sus bedding didn't want to touch anything
- 4/5
Very nice location.
- 2/5
Cannot open window. Room was clean but smells bad. Bed were ok. Rooms need refurbished. Property not clean. Garbage near bin was full and rubbish lying on the ground. Should have spend more and stay at a better hotel.
- 3/5
Grounds were very pretty.
- 5/5
Comfy stay
- 3/5
Missing a washcloth, no plug for the tub to soaked in,curtain not wide enough to cover the tub, coffee maker not working, a/c had a straw stucked in the fan blade making a funny noise. Live and dead ants on one bed and nightstand. Need light above on the ceiling where there's a table for eating

- 2/5
Smelled like pee everywhere, staff was unhelpful. Partner and I got into the shower, got soaking wet and realized the soap dispensers were empty, called front desk hoping someone would bring us some soap, but they told us to come get it ourselves. We decided to dig our own out of our vehicle, 35 minutes later someone finally showed up with soap, after we were out of the shower
- 5/5
Front desk staff was really nice… Very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and newly remodeled. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. My only complaint is the tray that holds the coffee in the coffee maker doesn’t fit so there’s no in room coffee.
- 2/5
People were loudly smoking & drinking outside my room at 3AM. Pool area is nice, but very unfriendly as far as white guests go. I will not be staying at this location again. I am still waiting for the refund of my deposit for over 48hrs, the same deposit they wouldnt give us an exception to pay a couple hours after check-in. Typically, other hotels refund my boss within 2hrs of check out.
- 5/5
I was surprised with my experience at the red roof, the person helping me was super friendly, beyond my expectations. I believe his name was John. That helped me. My overall stay was comfortable and very enjoyable. Definitely coming back again soon :)
- 5/5
Nice and quiet motel in a nice area. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Clean rooms and comfortable beds.
- 5/5
Great pool but people that hang around the Inn are questionable. There was a couple having sex right next to the trash cans in the parking loy

There were a lot of homeless people sitting in the hallways or blocking the staircases. But other then that thw
- 5/5
Great space for a great price. Truly convenient area.
- 2/5
Parking lot dirty. Se real people outside on the decking areas smoking and waking up early and making noise. I felt sticky when I laid down and had some bumps on my skin. I looked for animals but they were unseen. This place needs upgrades and more attention
- 4/5
Good place to stay. Worth the money.
- 1/5
This place was a rundown dump. Homeless people camped out in the parking lot along with several broken down cars. Do not let the pictures for you. This is a dump.
- 3/5
Bed was comfortable. Although room needed to be upgraded to view as room views on website.
- 2/5
Wouldn't suggest a stay. Felt unsafe.
- 4/5
Overall I had a very pleasant time there. There was a miss on my part on arriving early to check in. One of the morning staff was not very understanding. Once my other family members arrived I did ask what was the earliest I could check in I was told 3pm ish. The other morning staff member was more understanding and receptive.
- 5/5
Feels very cozy.
- 1/5
The property is located on the back of a shopping center where homeless and crack heads roamed around the parking lot. The property is old and dirty with a broken A/C unit in the room. The floor in the room and bathroom was full of crumbs all over. The Asian employee who worked that night shift was ridiculously rude, refused to give me two extra towels and on top of that I was charged extra on my final bill. I had booked for two nights and ended up staying one only. This isn’t a safe place at all. Expedia don’t advertise that this place is rented as a weekly/ monthly motel.
- 4/5
Although a bit shabby and run down on the exterior, it has a great location, friendly & efficient staff, a large clean room and bathroom, and a comfortable, clean bed. A decent value for the price. I will definitely stay here again.
- 1/5
The property was awful. Said they had trailer parking and they did not. Property was not clean. There were bums hanging around and was afraid to stay there. I was not comfortable staying there so I cancelled. Not a nice neighborhood or property.
- 5/5
was nice! i enjoyed

It was nice and comfortable

Good care and attention
- 3/5
Dirty and outdated
- 2/5
Overall it was easy to check in to this hotel. However, once in the room there was a strong smell of urine. The smell was throughout the entire room. The overall state of the bed, bathroom and other surfaces were well kept and looked great. Thanks!
- 3/5
although the room non-smoking lots of smoking on grounds Day one used jacuzzi with people smoking around me Next day, Jacuzzi not working
- 3/5
Good thing was late check in. I don’t like the I requested a room with no smoke and outside a man was smoking. I saw cockroaches and not enough towels.
- 2/5
The room smelled of past smoke. The bed was so old, I could feel the springs in the mattress. The furnishings were in disrepair with the faux wood panels peeling and drawers broken. I purchased Lysol spray & wipes.
- 1/5
Refrigerator not working and jacuzzi not heating up. Called prior as usual and staff said Pool and jacuzzi was open and available but it did not get hot at all. Very unhappy and many transients in the parking area hanging around
- 5/5
shower water presure
- 5/5
Really nice stay and not too pricey. The pool is so nice!
- 4/5
What I didn’t like was the TVs were out..Didn’t work they said the cable company was doing repairs.
- 4/5
Overall good
- 1/5
The room was dirty old smelly. Checked in at 4:30 pm and checked out at 11:30 pm.
- 1/5
OMG! Couldn’t get past the way the area and motel looked. Homeless everywhere and overturned by meth addicts. That was just the start. The staff behind the desk was extremely rude. This Hotel charged my card and the transaction showed according to my bank. They continued to state that I used a different card and the transaction did not go through. I cancelled my stay as I was overwhelmed and now $ down with no place to stay. I am still awaiting a refund. Don’t even bother with this place. They need to rebuild and start over in my honest opinion. I wouldn’t even let someone I don’t like stay here.
- 4/5
Very noisy with late pool hours. It's an old property with definite signs of its age. However rooms are clean and updated.
- 5/5
Excellent stay we will definitely be back I hope we get the same room we stayed in room 256 and it was very good and comfy
- 1/5
Homeless walk all over the property including around the 1st and 2nd floor, always an excuse of no security during the day. Not all the parking lot lights work with broken glass from a vehicle parking space near one of the non working lights.Maids do what they can. The floor in my room 133 is sticky like they used cleaner but didn't rinse it, so don't walk barefoot. A number of people living here with dogs and cats and very few pick up the dog poop. Homeless come from railroad tracks and the broken fence that should be maintained by Cal-trans (57fwy). Surprisingly I haven't seen any roaches. They over water everything maybe to wash away the dog poop.
- 4/5
Great stay for the price. The bathtub could have been a tad cleaner.
- 5/5
Great
- 3/5
Room was dirty. Staff was nice
- 5/5
Easy check in. Accommodating. Comfortable bed.
- 5/5
Hotel accommodates pets, so I saw many beautiful cats.
- 4/5
it was nice !
- 1/5
I was given the worst room! It smelled like cigarettes. My asthma got worst because of the room. The pipes in the bathroom smelled liked mold. The room was dirty, not all the lights worked. People in the surronding were screaming and fighthing. I would never recommend this location. I knew it was a bad hotel when i check in and there was a glass between office.
- 5/5
I like that it's very convenient for shopping, it's right in the middle of anything you would need while your vacationing
- 3/5
Bed had a sunken hole
- 2/5
Didn’t know people were also residence there also
- 5/5
Check in with staff was great really nice. The stay and room were good and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again when in the area. Close to alot of the stores and restaurants.
- 2/5
ROOM SMALL BAD, MATTRESSES NOT IN GOOD CONDITION FOR RESTING, SPRINGS SOUND AND FEEL
- 4/5
Stay was pleasant and good. Bathroom in our room could use an exhaust fan, it was not operating. Ice machines were kind of far from our room and many choices of places to eat were close by.There is a one hundred dollar deposit when checking in but is returned to you when checking out. Could be a deal breaker for some people. All in all it was a great place to land after a day at the drag races.
- 1/5
Cockroaches in the rooms.
- 4/5
Floors have pet Oder and makes I uncomfortable due to the pet Oder in rooms I have rented in the previous last few weekends . Floors in rooms need a deep clean to get the pet and urine Oder out of the rooms previous guest stay in
- 2/5
The online photo appeared twice the size I was in. The room needed to be painted, tile was faded and unmatched. There was no hand-held shower head. The "bench" in the shower wouldn't have been able to hold a small child let alone an adult. This is supposed to be a smoke-free hotel and there were plenty of cigarette butts outside. Another issue was someone was smoking "Pot" on the upper level and blowing it down to the parking lot. Very rude and inconsiderate guest for which I do not blame management. Ultimately, I will not be back.
- 2/5
The one plus is that it’s easy access to the freeway and there are restaurants and shopping nearby. I used to live in this area before moving out of state and it’s a nice area, therefore I figured this hotel would be a bit more decent.
- 5/5
Got cash deposit back quickly
- 2/5
Very deceptive called fairground hotel and it is miles from fairground. Close to freeway and noisy.
- 5/5
I love how spacious it was and quite it was. We were in our own little world there. I would definitely come back
- 4/5
Room was clean and comfortable. Grounds were maintained. Pool and hot tub were NOT maintained very well. Staff were excellent. The only drawback was no first floor rooms available. Next time I must remember to specify when making the reservation.
- 5/5
Was convenient to get to my scheduled event.
- 1/5
These jerks, cancelled my reservation because I didn't answer my phone while I was driving to the hotel. I arrived in their parking lot at 8:10 pm, they have some ridiculous policy that they call you at 8 pm and if you don't answer they cancel. Keep in mind d that I called them at 4 pm that day and confirmed my stay there and got directions. They also bill your stay before you've even arrived. It was a very busy weekend with the Grand National Roadster Show in town rooms were at a premium, i was told by two other guys they had pulled the same stunt, what theyre doing is cancelling a reserved room at a lowr rate and selling it for a higher price to someone who is deserate for a room. They're on Expedia and I'm going to let Expedia know what they're doing they shouldn't even be on Expedia with their corrupt business practices. The woman on the front desk couldn't have been more rude, or un- caring that I was left at 8 pm without a place to stay. I luckily got a room at motel 6 and the desk clerk told me that Red Roof Inn is notorious for stranding people so that can sell the rooms at a higher rate. I'm not sure why Expedia even would list such a horrible company on their site. Boycott these jerks.
- 4/5
They did have a security guard walking the premises all night. We would stay there again though. Good deal for the price.
- 5/5
The lady Sabrina at the front office was really nice and helpful. I would definitely stay there again
- 3/5
Bathroom floor was dirty
- 1/5
Septic problem in room, only one computer working, took days before deposit was released, people smoking in entry way and literally in front of our room though requested Non-smoking, no bath towels available when requested was handed two small hand towels…list goes on don’t plan on returning 🙃
- 1/5
Dirty
- 1/5
Very dirty rooms, bathrooms stains on walls, bed was very used and out dated. Will never stay again. For a low budget hotel you can find better.. Motel 6 is much better choice.
- 1/5
Nothing
- 1/5
The property is full of homeless. We drove up and did not even get out of the car. We absorb the cost and went to another hotel. This prperty is very unsafe.
- 1/5
Seems more like a homeless place than a hotel
- 5/5
Very happy with our room
- 3/5
The shower bar is one of those curved rods and it sags, I kept bumping my head on it when I was in the bathroom going to the toilet. The plugs on the wall are the bed are all used, so you have to unplug something to charge your phone. Outside the hotel is worn and a mishmash of attempted maintenance but only so much can be done with worn out paint, dirty carpet on the walkways and a parking lot in need of a new asphalt . I removed all valuables from my vehicle and put them in my room each night I stayed (2 nights). Thought it might be a bit better than motel 6 that's just down the road for$20 more a night but no, it's not. Corporate Red roof hasn't obviously doesn't an audit on this building in a while.
- 2/5
Room was dirty
- 3/5
The staff was very helpful & friendly. I liked the outside of the hotel. It has an old cracked paint look to it…like rustic. I rented a nonsmoking room with a King bed in which I felt okay sitting on the bed because it had clean sheets. We were not able to use the WiFi because it was down. The walls had drink stains by the trash can, grease/food stains on backsplash area of the stove, just unclean walls overall, lamp base had black dirt/dust on the base where you turn it on, dust particles on a red chair, and it looked like they did not vacuum behind the red chair because there was a spider web. The outside walkways could you some cleaning & gardening services.
- 2/5
Additionally a $100 deposit was charged in case of towel theft, first time I have ever had this happen. There are other hotels close by, if I had to stay in this area again I would not stay here.
- 2/5
Bed was two different kind. But it was easy access for just couple of night..
- 5/5
Great rate, quiet, many TV channels were blocked though.
- 1/5
The room smelled when walked in, we stayed 20min, then checked out. Told front desk, "not staying", she wasn't suprised. Should have known, price was too cheap. Looked like several rooms have people living fulltime in them. Some shady people hanging around
- 5/5
It was a nice place
- 4/5
for the rest of my visit, incase it happened again. But overall, It was still a delightful stay & I would definitely visit again. Thank you.
- 4/5
The only problem is the ice machine was broken. Other than that a nice big fridge and comfortable room.
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful would recommend to other and would definitely stay again
- 5/5
Very clean
- 4/5
I brought my own but there wasn't a washcloth among the room linens. Moderately recommended.
- 5/5

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in out of thousands of hotels. Drug addicts passed out on the stairs, used needles on the ground, every room and whole hotel smelled like feces, 1 outlet worked, no shampoo, bed bugs, etc. We left after the first night as it just wasnt tolerable.

Never been to a hotel like this the cops came three times in two hours. The nickname for this hotel is now cellblock five.

Red Roof Inn was very accommodating for my same day reservation needs. The property is nicely kempt and considerably quiet, although they are conveniently located close to the freeway. At check-in Brian at the front desk was very welcoming, knowledgeable, professional while making sure my check-in was stress-free and pleasant. Brian's great customer service skills really stood out. Thank you.

There was only one outlet to use for the whole room as long as she had extension cords. Everything else in the room is all right. They do require a $100 cash deposit which is refundable when you leave. But it takes them 3 to 5 days to get it back to you.

There was alot of drug addictits in and around the property, not suitable for a family with young kids. Rooms were dirty and the staff were very rude.

Need more security. Inspect room well my room had a lot of bugs crawling out from under bed

The biggest problem was the constant violation of the non-smoking policy. People were smoking in hallways and other non-smoking areas, and the smell even permeated my non-smoking room. Staff seemed indifferent when I reported these issues. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel due to its poor maintenance and failure to enforce smoking policies. Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1 out of 5 stars)

Was a very nice 2 days. Only problem was people next door were loud

One of the mattress was old, springs were broke in it, and mold on the ceilings. Tweakers all around the place, and it smells of urine once you walk out the door.
