When I went to check-in, my pool view room wasn’t and sled to come back after 4pm. I came back and my room was changed to a much noisier room by the highway.

The Staff was super friendly, and the complex was clean and comfortable. Our room was great with a nice Kitchenette which help us make the most of our vacation in place of having to hunt down restaurants that meet our dietary requirements. Your breakfast was fantastic and I am glad to be a Marriott member.

Location is convenient to where we need to stay. Hotel was in older condition than other Resident Inns. The beds were creaky, sinking, and uncomfortable. Couldn't sleep very well.

This property works out great for us when we visit Del Mar. It offers easy access to the freeway and is a reasonable distance from Torrey Pines State Park and the Pacific Ocean beach. The generous full breakfast offered as part of the booking is a real plus. The staff at this hotel are exceptionally friendly and eager for your stay to be enjoyable. Parking in the underground garage costs extra, but is worthwhile as on-street parking is limited.

Everything was great except the pillows, they were terrible and super soft, I thought all hotels have changed to memory foam ones.

The manager and staff telling me the neighbors could not sleep cuz of the barking of my dog. When the truth is we were with him all night and he never barked. He barked a few when we leave but is quiet after that. Loved this stay! Room was super clean. Loved the mini suite aspect. Spacious! Continental breakfast was good too, the workers were very on top of making sure it was stocked and clean.

I reserved a one bedroom suite but was given a handicap room when checking in . I went downstairs and they told me none was available, I checked in online one day before .Seniors we had to step over a bathtub not safe . Not good . They wanted to change rooms the next day after we settled in .

We have stayed here before and it was better. The food quality was not great. They have conference rooms downstairs and sometimes decide to enforce if you can eat in there and sometimes they don't. They also have let us reserve them for free many times for work and suddenly informed us they would charge $30/hour for a room that had no sign indicating that and no one ever using it. The pull out is very uncomfortable so I wouldn't rely on that for another adult to comfortably sleep on. The bathroom did not ventilate very well. The staff are nice and it's a good enough hotel - we were just there for over a week.

Great location, great room and amenities. Staff was great. The sofa bed was truly awful. We had to go out and buy and twin blow up mattress for our daughter. She was very sore having slept on the sofa bed.

The Residence Inn was a very nice and clean place to stay. The front desk person that checked me in was very helpful and made a great recommendation to get a tee time for Torrey Pines and it worked! I highly recommend stay at this property if your in town..

Was very convenient going to and from different locations. Easy access to many fun things. The staff was amazing specially the breakfast service staff. They took care of any amd all requests and helped out as much as they could with smile on their faces.

Everything you needed to cook and wash dishes was available in the room. It’s a great pet friendly hotel with a designated area for potty breaks for your dogs. They supply waste bags. The area around the hotel was great for walking my dog. I felt save and took my dog on pleasant walks up and down the hills. I would definitely be staying here again in the future.

Stayed here for business for almost a week. The shining star of this hotel are the lovely staff. Sweet, welcoming, attentive - I looked forward to seeing them. The breakfast was good, iced coffee a plus! The room was exactly what I needed for my time there and was conveniently located.

Hotel was nice except for dated bathroom. My biggest complaint is with hotels.com for not listing a additional $18 a day parking fee that was not listed on booking. I chose this hotel because it did not have a parking fee listed and felt it was worth a little extra driving to save the $72. It’s disappointing!

The only weird thing was the bathroom vent fan was inside of the shower (above) and it didn't work which was expected considering its getting direct exposure to steam and is within splash zone if you're washing your hair.

Parking cost per night in a locked garage under the building and yet my sons car was broken into our last night there. There are no cameras in the garage to see who did it or what time. I was very disappointed.

we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. everyone was nice except the day we arrived that the woman at the desk was rude and didn't seem to care for our needs! We stayed there for 3 weeks to visit my daughter who just had a baby.

This was a solid hotel. The trash in the common areas could be cleared more often and the room could have been cleaned a bit better. We found crumbs in the kitchen area and the mirror on the bathroom door had finger and lip marks still visible. On the whole, I was happy with the accommodations. They just need to step it up a little better on the cleaning.

Too far away from public transportation. We ended up spending a lot of $$ on Uber and Lyft to get where we wanted to be. The sink faucet didn't work correctly, the microwave didn't work correctly and the GFI for the coffee maker kept throwing. A hot tub instead of the very tiny pool would be welcome.

The room was comfortable and clean. Despite having noisy neighbors that I could hear from the hallway, the room was quiet. The morning breakfast was generous and diverse. The staff were all friendly and accommodating with information about the area. The only disappointing amenity was the swimming pool. It was very small and limited for families with children.

Very comfortable beds, very upgraded bathrooms and kitchenette. Less than 10 min. walk to the grocery store and about 40 min. walk to the Torrey pines beach if you do not want to drive some days. Thank you very much for the perfect housekeeping. Our unit was very clean and ready in time when we arrived. Housekeepers never made any noise during their work. Check-in was quick and easy. Front desk personnel are friendly and knows how to make our stay comfortable. Thank you very much for your great service and super comfortable time at the property!

The lobby was always alone no workers around. In my room the Curtains did not close. No hot water at night. They take 2 hours to take you towels.

Really easy check in and checkout friendly staff enjoyed my stay.

We enjoyed the pool and the availability of a barbecue, the staff were all nice and professionals, the room was clean and well pressented, nice neighborhood, hotel is close to the beach and shoping centers. Highly recommemd.

I couldn't sleep well because of outside noise and air condition. Bad smell at the bathroom.

Booked for three adults o e had to sleep on sofa bed that was not very comfortable and was a tight fit in room when open. Making navigation to egress from one bed and bathroom area.

Location to Torrey Pines Reserve! It was nice to be able to be near and ocean and to take the beach, and beauty of the Torrey Pines, cliffs, and coastline. Truly a gift!

The hotel was comfortable, easy to go everywhere, the main kitchen appliances were available in my room. I'm very satisfied.

Excellent service & staff, not one but two associates who went out of their way to help me both front desk & housekeeping. The lady and gentlemen who both work the night shift very welcoming & helpful. Housekeeping does an excellent job keeping rooms cleaned & if you need towels , they deliver to the room in a bag rather than just hand them to you bare, which for the ultra picky is an extra. This hotel is our new favorite after staying at many properties in the area. Friendly, helpful service is so appreciated , and is not common these days. Hats off to the management, I can see now why rooms are not often available. ( we are in a King Studio which was only room category available, but is working out perfectly) They should update pictures on Trip Advisor as the room was far nicer than pictured. The sofa is new and the room looks better in person.

The property was great, even during the pandemic. It was within about a mile of a really nice shopping center that was easy to walk to (and during the holidays had really great lights and decorations. I felt completely comfortable walking in the area by myself. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

Major construction inside with no disclosure exposure to heavy dust causing major asthma flare up! hvac blowing construction dust all night. coughing incessantly called front desk who came and shut hvac could not sleep too stuff in room and all the construction dust snd debris is uninhabitable should have been disclosed!!!! staff was great but building was not up to par elevators masked with dusty old construction tarps corridor to elevators strew with small piles of dust and debris and had to dodge construction workers and the equipment just to find elevator had mask on but it didn’t help keep dust out of airway. call in advance of booking regarding state of construction

Premises well maintained, but i didn't like i had to pay for parking.

I’m very pleased with my stay here. Its very clean and the staff are very nice. It is walking distance to a lot of restaurants and a major grocery store.
