We stayed for 3 days. It was "meh". The bathtub was clogged, elevator was run down. It isn't like what is shown on the website. In reality, it needs to be renovated. No daily house keeping. Breakfast was not as good as its hotel peers like Best Western. Hotel parking is tight and you HAVE to pay for daily parking. The rooms are also very small.

The blinds were broken and pieced together also, the blinds were not room darkening, The bathtub had mold and an attempt to caulk over it. I was charged a $64.00 fee on my room that no one could explain, even the manager. She stated my card would be credited. To date I have not been credited.

Parking is additional cost. Room condition is dismal at best. Didn't try the breakfast, bolted early to beat traffic. Bring your own pillow case! You get what you pay for. If you don't run the a/c you hear the pool and people walking and talking. The repairs are quick and sloppy. Homeless RVs on the street.

The room was very clean. The hotel was near freeway access, Denny's Restaurant and the mall. The young lady who checked me into my room, was okay. She was pretty nice. The young lady whom I had given my key to, upon checkout, wasn't too accommodating. She only spoke to me whenever I said something first. She just sat in her chair......and looked around, that's it. Mediocre customer service.

Parking is $14 a night. The room was okay, but the room could use updating. The couch in our King Suite was uncomfortable and a terrible choice of furniture and the rooms are very echoey. There was a small refrigerator but no microwave in the room. The pool area was the best part of the property, with plenty of nice seating. The pool lift worked, which I appreciated, but the footrest catches on the pool edge and causes the chair to jerk. The hot tub was hot, but the jets were broken and dont look like they will be working anytime soon. During my stay, I twisted my knee and became unable to walk. I was surprised the hotel did not have a wheelchair available on-site for guest use. Staff did bring me an office chair, which helped, but it couldn't fit into the bathroom. I asked about moving to an accessible room. The night employee said rooms should be available in the morning but the morning lady didnt bother checking. The housekeeping and maintenance staff were friendly and responded quickly when needed. Breakfast was disappointing. The waffles weren't very good, the only protein was frozen hard-boiled eggs, and there were no drinks besides milk. No juice. On the positive side, I felt safe here, and that counts for a lot.

The rooms did not even have enough room to walk around the bed. If someone was standing by the end of the bed you could not walk by to the bathroom. Only one chair in the room and 3 people. No hot water or water pressure in the rooms.

Staff was pretty good. Rooms were relatively clean but rundown. Towel Hook fell off when I went to hang my towel. Breakfast is pretty much just bread: toast, bagels, waffles. A little bit of fruit, cereal, hard-boiled eggs. Coffee, but no cold drinks, no cooked eggs, no protein. There was some yogurt and cream cheese.

The beds and pillows were sooo comfortable. I slept better than I do at home. The website lists free parking as one of their benefits. When I checked in, I was asked if I wanted to park at the hotel. When I said yes, she said that it's $14 a night. I mentioned the website said free parking and I was invited to park on the street for free. There is no place on the street near the hotel to park. I would have to park down the street a ways. And haul 4 peoples stuff past 2 hotels. It set a deceptive tone.

The rooms were at least clean and the bed was comfortable, but it’s definitely in need of a major remodel and the pool was absolutely disgusting. The hot tub was broken. Jets didn’t work and there was hairballs and mold, growing all throughout the hot tub and the main pool was as equally filthy.

Strange to me. I dont know why it got shut off but it probably could've waited til middle of the night.

The night staff was rude and unprofessional. The early morning not as rude but clueless! Cafeteria staff very rude, your breakfast all carbs and a lot of sugar, boiled eggs, whole milk, bagels, regular cream cheese, cereal, yogurt, no scrambled eggs, no bacon, very poor choices! Outside of elevators got dirty, drunk people in the hot tub! Never saw the night security! Asked for help with my luggage had back surgery and weight limit is 15 pounds was told can’t ! Booking said parking and breakfast but you charge 17 showed me how booking had the v wrong no information! Only person I recommend is your BBB supervisor who was professional, courteous, the Hilton puts a 50 hold, so overall bad experience, I liked the room! Security for the side doors on the west side do not work, the bottom 1dt floor is open all the time! The room nice layout and clean the supervisor so checked me in went out n off her way to help me,my card didn’t work 3 tines and kept issuing for me until they worked.

Room was spacious and clean however you could tell it was old by the peeling and bubbling paint in the bathroom. You had to flick the bathroom light on and off for it to finally turn on. I didn't like that the "suite/sitting" area was in the middie of the room and the bed by the door. There was no microwave in the room which i thought was odd because there was a mini fridge hidden under the TV console. The swimming pool and jacuzzi closed at 8pm, really early if you ask me considering it's summer time. Self parking was $14 a day. Elevators were malfunctioning the whole stay. You never knew what floor it was dropping you off at or if the door was gonna close fully. Breakfast was a small upgrade of continental breakfast with a waffle maker. Bare minimum for what they did have.

Overall room looked like it was not cleaned thoroughly, from the floors to the counter top surfaces looked like they were wiped with a dry towel not any cleaning solution. Bathroom needed major drywall esthetic maintenance, vent did not work properly had to open bathroom window after showering to ventilate and clear up the room, steamy mirrors and walls. Window did not have a screen and could be opened about 12 to 14 inches wide. We were on the third floor and I immediately thought this was a safe hazard especially because we had small children with us. Room 2 had no water available from the moment we walked in. The maintenance person was working on the room next door and had to shut the water off which affected our room as well. I asked the front staff why she checked us in to a room that had no water she said she wasn’t aware. Towels weren’t available in the pool area and pool bath room doors were locked so we had to go back up to our rooms to use it. On my way to my room I approached a hotel cleaning staff member to ask for a few extra towels, she sent me to the laundry room on the same floor and the lady seemed bothered and reluctantly gave me the towels. Found a hair in the bed linens so we decided to sleep on top of the blankets for 3 nights.

The jacuzzi was broken. They charge a parking fee yet no security so why am I paying parking? The treadmills didn’t work. The bathroom doors don’t lock and are very hard to open and close. I was so disappointed when I arrived because the hotel looks nothing like the pictures online. On top of that, there were so many hidden fees. The price shown on Booking was not the real total, and they never clearly mentioned the parking fee either. They also charged multiple different taxes every single night instead of for the whole stay — occupancy tax, tourism tax, and California tourism tax. It honestly felt excessive and misleading. Breakfast was nice but it would’ve been nice to have bacon or sausage also available. I know that’s a bit expensive but would have been nice to have with the waffles. Cleaning staff was ok. The first one wasn’t very thorough but the second one went out of her way to clean and hang/leave towels and washcloths nicely fold and hung up. The interior of the room definitely needs a little TLC. Areas of the wall in the bathroom were roughly fixed, not sanded down then repainted. The wall by the the second bed was also in need of a little repair. The front staff was very courteous and helpful. I also liked the vending machines. They had a nice selection of drinks and snacks.

The hotel was good for what we needed it for and was pretty accessible for the most part but could use a little more detail as far as accessibility. My boyfriend is paralyzed and we had an ADA room. However these were the flaws I found; the doors into the lobby could use an automated opening, we asked for the underneath of our bed frame to be removed because my boyfriend couldn’t get in and out of bed because it was too high for him and they didn’t remove it or try to, the shower wouldn’t have been accessible for him if I wasn’t there to move the shower head for him so a detachable shower head would be beneficial for wheelchair users with limited mobility.

We couldn’t use our tub and the bathroom smelled terrible every time you used the water or shower. I've never come across front desk employees that were less helpful or more rude than the ones working at this Ramada Inn. They had the WORST attitudes, I was appalled. They did nothing to help or resolve our issues. Shame on them. I asked to speak to the manager and the gal wouldn't give me her name. She finally pointed to the wall where the managers name was although I've called twice, it seems as though she is never there. At night, we didn't feel safe due to the homeless digging through the trash bins in the parking lot. The hotel offers complementary breakfast, it was minimal. The coffee maker was "out of service". We were so disappointed with this hotel and their choice of staff members. We will never stay here again.

The location was nice. Rachel was amazing. The rooms were always cleaned and stocked. Hot tub not working. The suite jet tub took forever to fill, stopper was not correct and didnt work, and when the water was running, the room and bathroom was stinking like rotten water or mold. It was very loud as well. The pool and hot tub open and closed at 8. 8am-8pm. Breakfast was not a hot breakfast. It was a cold breakfast, more like a continental breakfast. The vending machines kept on going off line, and was not accepting Google pay, credit cards, cash app, nor cash.

The staff was amazing don’t get me wrong but, there were ants in my bathroom, before I even walked into the hotel, someone had broken into someone’s car. So when I left me car I had to park it at a different hotel because I didn’t trust my car to be in the parking lot after that. They gave me a new room after the ants so I guess that was okay but the first experience wasn’t the best. However the hotel was peaceful overall.

I was pleased to find that the rooms were fresh, spacious, and offered the option of no carpets or drapes. The hotel provided complimentary Wi-Fi, cable, and breakfast, which was a nice touch. Although the sheets and surfaces were clean, I did notice some areas that required more attention. Upon further inspection, I found that the mattress needed to be vacuumed between guests. It would also be beneficial to offer alternative breakfast beverages, such as orange juice or bottled water. While the staff was friendly, there was a language barrier that made communication somewhat challenging. Some minor issues that can be easily addressed include replacing the bathroom exhaust fan, as the bathroom and bedroom tend to accumulate moisture quickly. Additionally, the floors need to be swept, not just vacuumed, to remove fine dust and dirt. Unfortunately, the towels were stained and had hairs from previous guests, indicating that they need to be replaced. I opted to bring my own towels. Despite these issues, I would consider staying here again, as I had a relaxing stay overall.

The location was good. The indifferent clerk at the front desk was not very informative. I requested a bottom floor room where I could park in front. What she didn't tell me is that they don't have units facing the parking lot. I parked behind the unit (that had a small, frosted window that made it difficult to keep an eye on my car) and had to go way around to the front to enter. The clerk didn't tell me this and it was a huge inconvenience/frustration carrying my luggage and belongings trying to find a way to get in. Had to go back to receptionist to find out how I get in to my room on the first floor. The hotel was also noisy at night. I will not return.

The breakfast although ample in variety dosen’t come with any meat or any juices. Worst of all, pool noise from rowdy kids went unchecked until 11:00 pm. The side of the building is kind of falling apart. The parking lot is a bit sketchy not to mention the hidden fees that they don’t tell you about until you hand them your credit card for deposit and they charge $14 for parking overnight —and that isn’t mentioned anywhere when booking. also my hotel room had weird, sticky brown stuff on the bed head, dried snot on a wall in the bathroom, the bathroom had a strange, damp, nasty smell. The curtains are placed in such a way over the air-conditioning that you can’t get the room dark when you’re sleeping and I had to place my bags, shoes, and a water bottle up against the curtain to get some darkness. the pool is in the middle of the concrete monstrosity that is this hotel and is not cozy and is not a vibe. I went to target and spent money on cleaning supplies to clean this hotel and I couldn’t wait to check out immediately. I have pictures of the weird liquid and dried snot.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! The one star I gave this hotel was purely just for the staff. This was by far my biggest disappointment of any hotel I’ve ever booked on Expedia in my life and I’ve been traveling for over 40 years. I consider myself a reasonable person, but this hotel is bait and switch. I booked a room that had a partition and a door so that my daughter‘s area could be separated from my husband and mine. What we got was a blank, white boring box sharp screws, hanging down from the armoire. Horrible furniture and this was not what I booked. It’s obvious this hotel is owned by slum lords. This so-called breakfast is disgusting. It’s the same thing every day and it’s the bare minimum that they could do this entire hotel is the bare minimum that these owners could do. When I booked a hotel I wasn’t told that we’d have to pay for parking. I was told that it was free NOPE $14 a day for a broken parking lot no security and if you stay out later than 9pm good luck finding a parking space.

Tried calling numerous times before checkin to get information no one ever answered the phone. After 20 minutes in my room, I found bedbugs on my bed. Staff offered another room, I declined and I was told the reservation would be canceled and refunded and I went to another hotel. I called hotels.com for the refund, they also couldn't get ahold of anyone at the front desk when they called to confirm and the Ramada Inn didnt cancel my reservation as they said they would. I still have no resolve from both the Ramada Inn and hotels.com

Sketchy elevators that opened and closed three times before moving. Key cards glitched and wouldn’t open outside gates or room, needing to walk all the way around the complex and ask for an updated key card. Fridge in room that didn’t work very well (kept things “cool”). Worst part was the $14 nightly parking fee that was unexpected.

The room was cleaned last minute and wasn’t cleaned well, smelled like someone peed all over the floor. Me thinking it was a nice area, there were drug addicts staying there and doing the zombie stand outside the room. Would not recommend to book here. Rooms are outdated. They have over 5 connections on one outlet next to the beds, which is a fire hazard. The only good thing was the staff. Who ever runs this place is cheap, I’m sure they wouldn’t even stay there.

Both expedia and wyndhams sites said there were microwaves in the rooms. There are not. Had i known this i would have chosen a different hotel. Breakfast was just waffles and bagels, one day there wasnt even coffee. The doors to the outside of the property are not keycard locked creating a security issue. My room was ground level and the curtains didnt shut all the way so people could look right in. The window was screwed shut so no one could get in, but it isnt a viable fire exit either.

The provided breakfast was satisfactory, offering staples like fruit, waffles, and bagels. To improve the experience further, we suggest ensuring consistency with hot items like eggs each morning and perhaps adding some cold juices or water alongside the hot coffee and tea options. The hotel has great potential, and implementing these minor adjustments would surely help tourists have a more seamless and enjoyable stay while visiting the wonderful San Diego area.

I went out to relax for my birthday, with that said i wanted to chill in the jacuzzi and that's why i booked with Ramada, but jacuzzi wasn't working. The bathroom had hairs all over the tub. The internet kept going out so i couldn't watch movies on streaming. I asked the front desk for a GNC store and the lady told me the wrong mall.I spent money on an Lyft ride over to find out she sent me to the wrong mall. Since there was no hallways, the catwalk was so loud since kids were running up and down. This is the first and last time I stay there and I will not be referring anyone.

Clean hotel. Needs some maintenance. Elevator very rickety. Hot tub was warm, but the jets didn’t work at all and the controls are outside the fenced pool area on the opposite side of the gate, which means you had to go out and all the way around to control the jets, which ended up not working at all. Breakfast was non-existent. It was bad for even a continental breakfast. Really only cold cereal and bagels. Some fruit. Nothing. Else. Only thing to drink was coffee, no other options. Hallways were noisy, door didn’t block much noise. Charging $14 per night for parking in a tiny lot that really had no room to park in is exorbitant. It was clean and in a good location though.

The traffic noise was constant throughout the day, making it difficult to relax or sleep through the night. There was a strong smell of marijuana throughout the property — in the elevators, hallways, and even inside the rooms. We had to change rooms because the odor was overwhelming. It genuinely felt as though we and our children were exposed to smoke the entire time. Breakfast was very disappointing. The options were extremely limited — only bagels and cereal. The waffle machine was out of order, and there were no hot items such as eggs or other standard breakfast options. This was the first time I’ve stayed at a hotel with such a minimal breakfast offering. The areas around the property were cluttered with furniture and appeared messy and disorganized. It’s possible the hotel is in the process of renovating, and unfortunately, we may have stayed during the wrong time. Overall, the experience did not meet our expectations, and it was not the enjoyable stay we had hoped for.

Needed a hotel close to the Hillcrest hospital areas while in town visiting my father. The sleeping part of the room was small and bed only a short (less than a foot) distance from the door and window, which made falling asleep a little tricky since you could hear people walking by the room feel like they were walking right by my head (which i guess they were, technically). The bathroom area was spacious as was the “sitting” area. Other than that, I’ll likely stay here again if i need to but there are cozier feeling options at a similar price point in the same area.

The hotel is going through a major renovation and the room we had showed signs of being in progress. And it needed it. Our first night's sleep was interrupted by the constantly running shower that even a closed door couldn't fully muffle. We informed workers who, we thought, repaired it. But the 2nd night was awful. The shower resumed its stream after a quick rinse. We discovered a steady stream of ants going up and down one wall, the TV didn't work and the upstairs neighbor's children made it sound like we were under a herd of elephants. As the only rooms available were single King beds, we had to quickly locate another (less expensive and nicer) hotel. Thankfully, the staff approved our reimbursement request....though Hotels.com's relocation team was disappointing with their response...apparently, even though we provided pictures of the issues...ants are not considered a big enough problem to warrant a move. The whole experience was disappointing. If you choose to stay here, I do hope they are done with the reno and you have a better experience.

We were assured it would be there. It wasn't . We had to wait a half hour before we were given a broken one. Needless to say, the night wasn't fun. We were told there would be free parking on the hotel.com website. There wasn't . We were charged $14 a night each for 2 cars. We had to leave one car there on our initial stay on the 21st and were charged a $14 parking fee for 2 days. The rooms looked tired. The breakfast was not as advertised. They put the WiFi password on the key envelope, but not the network name. There was one called Ramada Guest, but it didn't ask for a password and didn't have internet access. I never figured out which one was the right network.

Check in was easy, property is under renovation. Seeing all the beds and furniture in the parking lot, I felt promise but unfortunately, the bed was terrible. My back was hurting for the nights that we stayed from friday night all the way to monday.I went to the front desk and asked them if they could give me some sort of bed, topper or something.Because the bed was hurting my back. But they did nothing. The continental breakfast was not even that great. There was two types of breads, two types of muffins, two types of cereals and 2 waffle makers they don't even carry juice. They also had yogurt, probably one of the worst setups for continental breakfast.I've encountered in all my time, staying at hotels i would definitely give him a second chance way later. In the future to give him time to correct this stuff. But I will definitely not stay anytime.Soon

Then in the morning went to get ready for the day and there were ants all over the bathroom. Where do I begin. This place reminded me of a homeless shelter. Weird pee smell in the lobby. Skip the breakfast as the breakfast room was dirty. If you must take your plastic bowl of cereal outside. Strange splatters of liquids on the walls and doors all down the hallways. Curtains in the room didn’t block out any of the hall lights that stayed on all night including the one that shined thru the bathroom window, no curtain in there. 10$ a night to park? Humm we stayed two nights and were charged for three nights of parking , this was refunded after asking to take it off. And we didn’t even arrive with a car?? Just avoid this place. Sketchy cars on blocks out front with people sleeping inside the vehicles. Didn’t use the pool so don’t have anything to say about that.

The hotel was below average - not bad but you can spend the night here if you need somewhere to sleep. The bedroom was nice but the bathroom was a bit dated. The elevators were a bit slow; I could’ve taken the stairs which was probably faster! The hotel doors close but they don’t close that tightly and rattle. You can hear people upstairs or walking outside your room. The breakfast was not that great either. I’d rather skip it and sleep in. To be fair, you get what you pay.

The stay was adequate for my husband and I. The room clean. The bed very cozy and comfortable. Good shower. They didnt tell us they were in renovations, so many oddities. But Staff always made it right if they could. No microwave in room. Had to go to dining room. Frig didnt work, so maintenance brought another one. Swimming pool clean and heated. Jacuzzi heated, but no bubbles. 2nd day no internet all day and night, so we left 3rd day. The breakfast adequate to good. I made a waffle, they ran out of breakfast sandwiches. We had to ask them to get more. Breakfast had usual bagels, cereal, yoghurt, fruit, coffee. Other guest told us their TV didnt work and the shower handle fell off. Internet photos were misleading. They were from when open earlier. We paid $125/nite when comparable hotels were less without the problems. If you're just looking for a clean room, comfortable bed, quick breakfast, then it's OK.

At one point we had to unplug the tv to charge our devices. No night stand to put anything on so if you have glasses like I do there’s no where to put them. The tile in the bathroom is in bad need of repair. Also the WiFi connection was absolutely terrible. The doors to the outside don’t shut tight so you can see daylight when they’re shut so there for you can hear every little thing that goes on outside. Definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The carpets where really dirty, they need a good clean. As I write before, you have bed, desk, microwave and everything you need, but the smell doesnt let you enjoy your staying.

Booked my reservation in July for 8/30-9/5/23 and was not told that the hotel was closing for renovations on 9/10/23. Then on 9/3/2023 hotel placed a sign that said last day of operations would be 9/4/2023. A day before my last night of stay. Staff said quite time 10pm-5 am and it was all noise of construction, no housekeeping services for my 5 day stay. Checked out early due to the noise, lack of housekeeping and overall frustration. Not offered any reimbursement for the hotel closing early. Overall would not have recommended this hotel. Lack of communication of closing I would have stayed at another hotel.

When we checked in, we were told our level of room we booked was overbooked, so they were going to upgrade our room. When we went to the room, it was less than our original booking. They had no other rooms, so we had no choice but to stay here. The room smells wet. The walls are dirty. We are on the ground floor and the curtains have to be wedged together so they aren’t open for people to stay in. Now we find out the hotel’s last day of operation is tomorrow. They are closing for renovations. It’s a day too soon!

Ramada, apparently recently took over this property and put vinyl Ramada signs over the old quality inn signs and put bandaids over some things that desperately need attention/repair and opened for business as usual. This property is far from three star! I would give it a one star.

I found this place to be disgusting and the owners should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. The carpet looks like it has not been cleaned for decades. I was not even comfortable walking on the carpet in my socks, let alone my bare feet. The wifi would not work anywhere in the room other than right next to the door. I complained multiple times but when I asked for a refund, guess what...they claimed to have no record of me complaining! Well, if the person I complained to at front desk does not care about my concerns then of course he would not have made a record of it!! Honestly, don't even begin to waste your money at this cesspool of filth.

I chose this property for the morning continental breakfast. The images of the grounds look really upscale. And the lobby was. The rest of the grounds and the room where another story. The beds and pillows were so aged. The plumbing would not stop running. The wallpaper was stapled to the wall. And there were holes in the wall. Now for breakfast, it’s fair. Eggs, a waffle maker, and toast and bagels. The problem, is that it’s open for breakfast until 930. The staff starts taking items away at 9. So you better show up early. This property does not live up to the Ramada name.

Room's AC was gross smelling and made the room very humid. Once I turned that off and opened the window, the rooms smelled less and the issue was resolved. Also, there was human poop outside in the stairwell back corner the entire time during the stay, never cleaned up. Gross. Would definitely never stay here again. Please needs a full refurb.

Soiled and stinky room, breakfast below average and basics like butter or Marmelade were not available on several days. At check out, the staff member was not able to explain several bookings Taken from my credit card, became emotional and escalated the situation by calling security to have me and my two daughters removed from the premises! As a frequent traveler in many countries all over the world, this was by far the most unprofessional service I have ever witnessed … I would not wish anyone this nightmare.

Don’t let the photos shown fool you like they did to me. Our room was run down, old and dirty! Tiles were missing in the shower and water dripping all day and all night long. The couch in the room was dingy and sagged once you sat down on it - even when my 10 year sat down (he weighs 70 lbs).

It was just run down, bugs in the room, holes in the wall, a pen** drawn on the wall by our toilet that I had to explain to my kids which was annoying “mommy, what is that?”, the staff was kind after getting changed to a different room because my first room had next to no air flow/conditioning at all. Probably fine if you are like a single guy, and don’t really care, but I had my kids and my husband and it was for a family trip so not really ideal, we even extended our stay at a different hotel up the road for only about $60 more for two more nights. So make sure you shop around, my family always used to come to the Ramada when we were younger, but this one just doesn’t hold its own. Again, staff super kind, but hotel is just in need of some serious care.

The other lady, I believe her name is Amy, seemed annoyed that we asked her for some clean sheets after seeing dirty sheets in our room . I even offered to get them downstairs and put them on myself and she gave me wrong ones. She quickly said I can check out and get a refund when all I wanted was sheets. She said “ she’ll see if she can find any” I wouldn’t stay here ever again .. Only good thing about this hotel was Devin.. oh and breakfast was pretty good .

When we checked in the room smelled musty. The refrigerator wasn't working properly and there old, stale, uneaten food in the fridge. Then we found out that both hotel ice makers were inoperative. That's when I returned to the main lobby desk and asked to cancel my reservation and booked a competitors hotel room. Terrible experience.

Let me start by saying the staff was very accommodating and tried to be helpful. But DO NOT let the pictures fool you. It's a very outdated, dirty hotel. We originally had the room with bunk beds - but it's so small there is no way we could all fit and it smelled TERRIBLE - straight up moldy. Then we turned on the fan for the room and it sounded like it was going to blow up. The staff was good and let us change rooms - In the second room- The tile in the bathrooms was cracked and moved as we walked. The sink and tub facet had so much water build up that it was disgusting. The elevator - good luck. You never know if it's going to actually get there by the way it shakes and creeks. And the locks to get into the hotel were all under construction and didn't even work so anyone could really enter if they wanted. 10/10 dont recommend.
