Amazingly quiet considering the close fwy. Nice remodeled room and comfortable.

First of all, the staff was great. Very helpful. This is an old hotel desperately in need of a complete remodel. Everything is old and scuffed. The bathroom fixtures were very loose. The bed moved too much. Walls are paper thin. Very noisy all night. Think Motel 6 at a Wyndham price. I’ll try somewhere else next time.

Breakfast area was very dirty and nobody takes out the trash in the cafeteria. Also after several comments to staff, nobody did nothing.

The desk clerk was rude and disengaged, really jittery like he was high on something. The entire facility smelled like cigarette smoke, I ended up leaving the night I checked in and didn't stay.

Our stay was okay overall. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and quick to assist whenever we needed anything, which we really appreciated. The room could have been cleaner, though. There were some areas that needed attention, such as the walls near the toilet, the floors needing to be swept and mopped, and the sink was clogged. With a little more focus on cleanliness and maintenance, this would have been a much better experience. The staff’s kindness was definitely the highlight of our stay.

Room was clean, staff is helpful, and price was reasonable. We stayed there with a few different families for a tournament and it was convenient and comfortable for everyone. It’s also right off the freeway and there are a couple restaurants within walking distance.

the people working at the check were all very nice and helpful with directions and giving us information on freeways and timing of breakfast,etc. I was walking barefoot and the wood floor was very dirty. My feet were black when I sat down to get into bed. The bed was nice and clean and so was the bathroom - the only complaint was the flooring in the sleeping area.

Arrival (Monday): My assigned room was not ready. I waited 30 minutes for a reassignment, only to receive a dated, gloomy room with grease stains on the bathroom walls, rusted sprinkler heads, and stained floor tiles.Hygiene Issues: The shower stall contained a long hair from a previous guest. When I moved the bath mat, the floor underneath was visibly filthy. Housekeeping Failures: My room was completely skipped on Tuesday. Manager Meeting (Wednesday): I met with the property manager and showed him photo evidence. He agreed the room condition was unacceptable and explicitly promised to "make it right" if I agreed to stay the remainder of the week. The room was finally cleaned that afternoon. Continued Neglect (Thursday): The room was skipped again. The front desk dismissively stated cleaning only happens every two days. Checkout (Friday): The property manager was unavailable. The front desk clerk brushed off photos of the dirty sink, shower, floor, and mirror as "normal," refusing to assist with the manager's promised adjustment. I honored my end of the agreement by staying the entire week based on the manager's word. I attached the photos of the room's condition as proof and emailed the manager as he requested. .I request a MINIMUM 50% refund to settle this matter. Anything less would be an insult.

It had good breakfast and was able to accommodate and check in earlier after a long trip. The bathroom floor was a bit dirty. The bed was super squeaky any movement we made you could hear which was annoying.

The room looked to be recently remodeled which was nice. The bed slept well however the pillows where terrible much like small bean bags. There was a police chase that ended in the parking lot with a gun stand off. No fault of the property just maybe being located right off the freeway or maybe it's a common California thing.

the kids enjoyed the pool. bring your own towels. the pool towels are very small. the kids enjoyed the breakfast. the parking was free. it was just ok. we stayed for a soccer tournament.

The staff were friendly. But the room was not clean. The floors were very dirty and dirty/used towels had been left in the bathroom from whomever stayed there previously. I had asked the staff to have someone clean the floors, they apologized and said they would send someone up to clean them, but they were never cleaned.

The building itself looks old, the shower leaked the whole night and we couldn't sleep well from the dripping sound, there was alot of noise from the walkway. The room was clean. Found the rate to be expensive.

Due to these issues, we actually decided to leave early yesterday rather than stay the final night. Unfortunately, it was not a great experience for us.

Sufficient parking. I called the concierge about some kids playing soccer in the hallways and annoyingly screaming in front of my door at 9:30pm. He did what he said and told the kids' parents to keep their kids from playing soccer and yelling in the hallways. Room was fairly clean.

Car wash gas station is next to it. Pretty good Mexican Food and McDonald are there. Breakfast is continental but I wish full breakfast. The rate of stay is pretty low.

The businesses (restaurants) closer to the street made the approach a bit confusing. It's definitely easier to approach the property from the I-15 side. But, it's simple once you've gotten to it the first time. Good access to the local wineries, industrial, and residential areas.

My first time here. The place is okay but definitely noisy if you are closer to the lifts. Morning breakfast choices very limited & no variation over the days. Biggest advantage is that the parking lot is huge & is free to park.

while most La Quinta Inn are getting better, this one still old and not in the best shape. Breakfast, absolutly no go.

The bathroom sink was not draining. No hand soap provided. We were told the maintenance team would not be around until the next day. I needed to check out the room by 11 a.m. I requested a functioning and clean room, it was around 11:30 p.m. when my room was switched. It was a hassle and very inconvenient.

Hotel was nice. From the reviews I read I thought breakfast was going to be better. Cold boiled eggs, oatmeal packets, toaster for the eggo type waffles, french toast, muffins. Had a good yogurt machine with some toppings. Room was supposedly smoke free. Maybe smoke was coming in from the parking lot. Who knows. Location is nice. Lots of food options around. Staff was nice.

These hotels are not my preference but I figure to give it a try since it was in a decent area and reviews werent too shabby..Also on trips its not like your in the room 24/7.. Parking was also free so thats a good thing. Check it was smooth and I thought nothing of it. When I got to my room (facing parking lot) I was scretched out by the person next door.. some old lady who looked tweaked out with a group of men who also looked questionable with her.. they were all smoking outside there room. Didnt really care since after check in I was leaving for dinner.. Boom, I get back from dinner and theyre still outside! Didnt care that much again, bc Im going out again to a bar. Boom I get back at 12am at this point theyre being loud and yelling. I call the front desk to let them know Im uncomfortable and at this point feeling unsafe.. All the front desk said “Ill go check” and hung up. I just ended up falling asleep. Come the morning, Our room is so stuffy and barley breathable *didnt really notice the night/day before since I was not in the room that much.. Smh I went down to see if I can change rooms, after letting them know my experience..So glad that they were able to accommodate! the rooms on the pool facing side are clean and what you expect from what you see online.. I assume they judge you based off race. Everyone on the other are what you would guess.. Never staying here again, and wouldn’t recommend it if you were stranded

Though the property is quite maintained (exterior condition of the property, paint, renovated rooms, etc.), I feel that the property could use some cleaning. Example: Pressure washing the outside hallways and mopping the tiled floors inside the rooms.

The parking was easy. The room was clean. The staff was very helpful. We were visiting friends in the area and so this was the closest hotel. It is right off the highway so there is highway noise but once you close the door, it’s fine. The air conditioner worked well. The TV remote control was ana very cheap universal remote, and ineffective. You can go up and down with the channels and the volume, but there is no ability to get to a guide or know what channel you’re on. we didn’t use the TV that much so we just dealt with it but if you use the TV a lot, it is annoying.

Dog owners beware: you may be booked and paid for but the front desk will charge you $35 per dog so your inexpensive stay can suddenly get pricey. The room was updated and nice but when my wet shower towel went to the floor I picked it up w nice brown dirt prints lol 😂 Anyway, this was not our usual La Quinta experience

As for the amenities again basic.(tv, WiFi, pool. fruit and frozen waffles for breakfast coffee) just simple.

Location is great and very accessible to major roads; the room is spacious; wide range of TV selection; lounge is cozy; dining area is neat and quiet.

We were out of shampoo and conditioner in our room. It was hard to get a hold of somone to let them know. Then they didn't bring it to us we had to go to the front desk and get it. Our towels had black hairs on several of them. At breakfast there were bugs on the floor, the food was very lacking, and the dining area is so small its hard to share the space with so many guests. Customer Service was really terrible.

minus -- free continental breakfast wasn't much to get excited about plus -- one of the best hotel showers ever minus -- screwy TV/remote setup (no channel guide, poorly designed remote, weird Spectrum channel numbers) plus -- Starbucks next door, easy access to freeway, good area minus -- ground floor room right next to parking lot made the stay feel kind of cheap, and was a bi t more noisy than I would have liked

When I booked I don’t realize this was a motel. I wish the listing would have mentioned that. The room was average, the breakfast was average. We attempted to use the pool but as it’s not heated, it was too chilly for us in the beginning of March.

I’ve stayed at La Quinta before, and I’ve always had a nice comfortable stay. This time, our room was bare minimum… vinyl flooring coming up. I don’t know what the housekeepers are doing at 11pm- midnight or 2am in the morning, but you can hear their rolling carts going up and down outside your room, the freeway was noisy. I’ve stayed at better Motel 6 is back in the day. The continental breakfast they usually serves typically has a protein and a few options to pick from. Not this one… very limited options. Aside from that… The staff were awesome. They were able to answer questions and if I needed something extra, they would deliver quickly.

I was a bit skeptical on staying here because I haven’t had good experiences with other Quinta’s in different states, however this one has been by far the best. Clean room, linen, towels.. breakfast was great too no complaints here, not expecting a 5 start breakfast when I also know I’m not paying 5 start hotel prices.. let’s be real. It worked out for my 3 nights great and shower water pressure was the best! Thank you! Also the gentleman in the front desk he was very nice and accommodated me fast.

When I booked here the pictures sold me. That was a mistake. While it does look like the rooms may have been remodeled recently, the quality of that remodel is very bad. The shower barely drained, gaps everywhere where mold will eventually grow and the floor through and through is absolutely disgusting - does not look like it’s been mopped, ever. The beds were supposed to be queen but they were definitely not a standard queen size, felt more like a full size. The one positive thing here was the continental breakfast, that was at least included and decent. All in all, I would never come back.

The cleanliness of the room was good, including the bed. The only real thing to complain about was the water pressure of the shower head, which was a little lower than normal. The noise from the outside can be a bit annoying because of the proximity to the freeway, but if you stay towards the end of the building furthest away from the freeway, it shouldn’t be so bad. The TV is a smart TV, which is nice so you don’t have to screenshare/Air Play to stream shows. The complimentary breakfast is nothing to rave about, nothing more than a waffle maker and some cereal and yogurt, but there are restaurants nearby that you could eat at instead.

Breakfast was awful, worse than ever. There were too many guests and few tables and one single little oven. Also, please, offer something hot for breakfast not only cold and processed stuff (refrigerated hard eggs, yogurt, etc). We were four guests and had to ask for extra coffee, towels and soap every single day. The room and service was acceptable, a bit noisy facing Hwy 15, but fine.

Updated, Bright rooms with colorful art. Nicolas at the front desk did a great job, even though he was the only person working on a busy New Year’s Eve.

Staff was nice and helpful, the room was not very clean. The floors were pretty dirty and had a strange smell in there. Stayed two nights and the second night we tried to get into the room, our keys weren’t working. So we had to go to the office and they magnetized them again. I feel like that shouldn’t have happened. Overall it was an alright stay.

Easy parking, clean room. Convenient. However, they need to install a towel rack next to the sink and there was no blow dryer in the unit.

The room was large, the bed comfortable and the linens clean. The guy who checked us in was nice and efficient. My only comment would be about the shower… It was just awkward. You have to get into the shower to turn it on which means you’re standing in the cold water while it gets warm, and you had to turn a handle all the way around in a full circle even to get to the warm water, it was just strange. Don’t know what can be done about that but we both found it a little challenging. It wouldn’t keep us from staying again, just something worth noting.

There was a dog barking all night! The breakfast didn’t have much of a selection and coffee was cold with tap water. Waffles were frozen waffles.

Parking is kind of far feo. The front desk was inconvenient. During my check in, the person was friendly but I then went to the front desk and new person did have good customer service. They offer continental breakfast but I couldn’t get coffee because it doesn’t start until 7am. And have to leave at 6:30am. They was was a coffee maker and free coffee packets in the room but they didn’t provide water. I would think twice before staying here again.

The room itself was not clean at all. I found dirt and trash all over. The bed had hair and dog hair all over it. The room is near a freeway and you can hear all the cars. The pillows feel like they are stuffed with cotton balls.

We had a nice 2 night stay for our recent strip to Poway. The room was spacious and freshly painted. The shower had great water pressure. The breakfast was enjoyable and had most of the usual options. The staff was friendly and the hotel was very clean. This was a good location for our business in this area located very close to the freeway.

Although the room was nice and we thought clean, we had a cockroach problem. I truly did not want to blast them but am so shocked that no one reached out. Very disappointing. They were German Roaches which are very difficult to eradicate. Beware

The room was unfortunately dirty but even worse was the fact that I could clearly hear the people in the room next to me because there was a very flimsy door between my room and theirs *inside* my room. I could literally hear them talking during the day and snoring when they were asleep. If you value your privacy I recommend staying elsewhere. I was so uncomfortable because of this and regretted choosing to spend a bit less for this room vs others that were slightly more expensive.

Not the typical La Quinta Im used to, seems more like a Motel than a Hotel. Staff was fine and helpful, just the condition and the amenities itself desperately needs an upgrade. Breakfast was subpar as well. Washer was also broken. Thankfully there’s some restaurants and Starbucks within the vicinity along with a laundromat close by that we could use but again, this “hotel” desperately needs an upgrade on resources.

The staff was amazing. The room had black long hair all over it, all over the bathroom in the shower on the countertop in the sinks on the toilet. There is his hair everywhere like there is an animal shedding,. Plus, there were dead bugs on the floor. whoever cleaned it didn’t clean very well.

I’m always a little nervous when staying at places but this was a pleasant stay. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was big and comfy. The decor was modern and there was a mini fridge and microwave in my room. The water pressure in my room was perfect. I was facing the pool so I felt safer and it was quieter on that side. The parking was easy and I was always able to find a spot. I would stay here again.

I stayed here because I enjoy La Quinta over any other hotels. I stayed on the 4th floor which was a bummer but thankfully there was an elevator. There is only one side to park and limited handicap spots to park. Beds were comfortable but NOT the pillows. Be sure to bring your own pillows. Shower pressure was amazing. I would definitely stay again. Don’t forget to try Don Rios right by hotel. SUPER delicious!

Tv is not usable as it will not get stations and no instructions how to use the TV and remote. Should not advertise TV if the process of getting the channel you want is unavailable. Lots of "parties" and juveniles wandering on a saturday night. Seems to be a family party site on saturday night. No hotel supervision observed. Given the problems I would call the accomodations "over priced." $170 for a motel 6 accomodation is over priced.

I was given a room on the second floor overlooking the pool. When I opened the door, I discovered a man sleeping in the bed. I had to return to the lobby with all my belongings to get another room. I'm sure the man in the bed was not too happy either.

Booked this hotel on the way to San Diego and LAX. Good value, and Don Rios next door served good value, tasty Mexican food. The room was clean and comfortable, easy parking. Rooms have a fridge and microwave and the AC worked fine. Close to gas stations and local shops.

Room I was assigned to was not properly cleaned I could see things left by previous guests in the bathroom.

There was ample parking when I checked in. I was able to park right in front of my room. Conveniently, a delicious taco shop is right in front of the motel. The amenities were on point although I noticed none of the white towels matched except for being white.

Floors in our room were filthy,towel rack in the bathroom was hanging out of the wall, microwave was all in Spanish. WiFi was constantly going out. We wont be back

Reserved for 3 people and only 2 sets of towels. Asked for another set received only one bath towel. Bed springs were loud.

Could have better "hot" and other options for breakfast, like hashbrowns/ potatoes, croissants, hot cinnabons, wheat bread, etc. Not enough surface/ counter space to place belongings. No rods in bath to place clothes. Otherwise great! Thanks!

Very good hotel

Unfortunately, I had a bad experience. My room smelled of smoke, I would hear all the noise from outside, and noted poor room circulation.

Check in guy was pretty bad. Rude and explained nothing about location of room or location of elevator or breakfast hours. He just mumbled. The room was really large and very nice and comfortable. Plenty of parking and close to freeway on ramps. Could walk to Starbucks and McDonald’s. Outside was dirty. Overflowing trash and spiderwebs in corners inside hall. Large window in our room (corner room) went almost to the floor and was openable. No guardrail or anything to keep you or a child from falling from 3rd floor. Elevator floor filthy. The plus was nice big room, good parking and good bed and bath.

Breakfast was not great

Great location right off freeway and staff was very kind. Breakfast and parking is included which is rare to find now days! Only cons were the windows don’t have good insulation so you could hear the freeway all night and the beds were not the best. Room is renovated and surface level clean but could use a deep clean. Great for a quick stay, when traveling you are just there to sleep anyways. Would book again!

The pictures did not match the property at all. The description indicated it had a pool and we couldn't find any pool. I have stayed in several hotels and never had a hotel where the towels did not look clean and the sheets came off the bed. There was something sticky on the bed when we arrived and my husband is the one that cleaned it off. The next day our trash was not emptied but they left a trash bag for us to do. I have Never had to so that! The smoke detector also randomly went off in the middle of the night. There is more but I wouldn't be able to fit it all. I would never stay here again nor recommend it to anyone!!

CONS: Terrible pillows, blankets, and bedding. Very minimal breakfast which others have commented on. This is a clean and updated no frills hotel. Great location and quiet room. Not sure I will stay again due to the lack of amenities in the room and no gym access.

Not the cleanest. Hair on the ceiling of the shower, linens were stained on the bed. In addition, I booked a king bed and upon arrival they told me they didn’t have any left, so I had to settle for 2 queens. Not having the room I booked and overall uncleanliness wasn’t ideal.

Paid parking is the only draw-back

This hotel is a perfect example of you get what you pay for. The food area was filthy, the halls were filthy, they advertise daily housekeeping but my room was cleaned just once in a week- even though I asked for it to be done every night. If you don’t expect much from a hotel- this is the one for you. Otherwise it’s a do not recommend.

Nice breakfast selection

This hotel is very close to the 15 Freeway and they do a poor job of blocking the sound of the freeway. The place was almost empty but they gave us a room overlooking the freeway. The person at the desk said very little and did not share about the time for the free breakfast or check out time etc. We originally planned to be here two nights but only stayed one due to the inability to sleep through the freeway noise. Also the room was not clean with hair and dust swept under the table and bed but still evident. I would not come back to this hotel.

The place is kind of a dump. The noise from the highway is intense. The maid service was a no show. 4 nights housekeeping came once the first day and never came again. The front desk said they would take care of it 3 times. Never did. The room next to us also got shorted. Would not stay there again.

I liked that the property is conveniently located to freeway entrances and near restaurants. However I disliked the bathroom in our room, the drain kept getting clogged and many of the towels had stains. The room itself was in okay conditions.

Just the worst

The property is older but has been renovated. More attention needs to be given when cleaning the rooms and the outside needs to be cleaned. Lots of trash in the parking lot.

We did not get daily service for the room. Towels were dropped off but beds weren’t made or sheets changed after a week stay.

Very difficult to sleep at this property, the freeway noise and just noise in general was horrible. Doors were not soundproof. We could hear everything outside. Will not stay here again.

Staff walked out for a long time and would not answer the phone. I had a problem and he would not even attempt to help at all. He said if I rebooked he would charge me a higher rate. He simply did not care.

Clean and convenient to the freeway. The breakfast area was small and got crowded as a result of poor design. Very basic hotel and not worth the $250+ per night cost. Stayed there with niece’s soccer team.

Nice stay

The room was large and clean, housekeeping was A+ and on too of everything. They even have a laundry area for guests. Overall, it was a great experience.

I didn't like all the traffic noise and screaming teenagers from the walkway outside my room. I did like the extra large bathroom and cleanliness of the room and bathroom. I did like that they had breakfast available in the morning with fruit and hard-boiled eggs.

The room was dirty the bathroom and floors had to be cleaned. Hair all over the bathroom floor. Had to buy cleaning supplies to clean myself. Asked housekeeping for towels only was provided 2 when I had a reservation for 4. Had to buy toilet paper because I asked for some and never got any not a property I would stay at again

The breakfast in the morning could have been better. The coffee was good but the choices for breakfast (pre-wrapped waffles and french toast) were limited especially for the price.

Expected more of breakfast options

While the staff was very friendly, I am afraid the positives end there. We were disappointed to get into our room and see that it was dirty. We were tired from our trip and didn't want to have to go back to ask for another room. Upon laying down, the beds made a loud metal grinding/creaking noise that was sleep disruptive whenever we shifted at night. In the morning, we went to get breakfast and were met with a very limited spread. There weren't enough options to even call it breakfast. Again, thankful for the staff but I will not be returning nor recommending this hotel to anyone.

Hotel was nice and clean only issue I had was they ran out of towels and had to go back to front desk the following day to ask for some. Was told house keeping wasn’t in till 10 so had to wait till the evening to get clean towels

If you have other options, don’t stay here. The customer service was not great and the rooms were filthy. The floors probably haven’t been cleaned in months. We used a towel to dry the floor that was wet after coming back from the pool, and the towel was completely black when we were done. They only gave you two shower towels, even when you had 4 people in the room. There were never any towels at the pool so you had to go ask at the front desk and that was always a 20-30 minute wait for those. The continental breakfast was a joke. It was soggy frozen eggos that got left out and a couple other pastries. If you can, stay somewhere else.

The rooms are pretty nice. The walls could use a good cleaning, but I didn’t have any problems with the rooms themselves. The hotel grounds, though, were pretty disappointing. The hallways were dirty and had a bad smell. The trash cans near my room weren’t emptied and smelled awful. There was trash in the parking lot, which really made the property look bad. A thorough cleanup of the grounds would make this hotel a pretty good place to stay for the price.

We got to the hotel check in was easy but when we got to the room i checked the beds to make sure the sheets where changed the bed had alot of little hairs and the bottom sheets had alot of little stains that looked like bed bug droppings the bathroom was nice but there was no hot water and there was a dead bug on the towels i give this stay a 5 the pool is not well taken care of we made the best of our trip the pool needs maintenance my kid cut themselves on the steps when getting out of the pool

Beautiful renovated building. Very clean and modern room walkable to Mac Donald’s tacos Del rio it’s a Birria place literally on the corner open 24/7. Also there’s a Starbucks. Definitely recommend to go back there close to many places like shops and restaurants. Very nice workers and great continental breakfast

The worst part was waking up with BUG BITES and the dried BLOOD in the shower. Upon speaking with the front desk, the clerk was avoidant and refused to help.

No luggage rack provided. No desk or flat space to work or put things down. Location is convenient. Next to interstate highway. Area is generally a good area.

Stay was decent. We got a room that facing the pool so it was a bit loud at times. The first night we arrived there was a stain on the top layer of the bedding. It was 11ish and I was too tired to wait so I just threw it off the bed and dealt with it the next day. Staff was nice overall so I did appreciate that. Don't know if I would stay here again though.

Stayed for two nights, great location next to gas and Starbucks. The place was not the prettiest but it was decent.

Stayed 1 night. Room was really comfortable, except TV remote didn’t work. Free breakfast had cereal, waffles (eggos), English muffins, small yogurt. TV in breakfast room showing NewsMaxx station (would have preferred real news ). Was awakened at 5am to construction truck loading heavy material (construction workers staying at hotel). Close to freeway and could walk to a couple restaurants if desired. Outside of hotel had some garbage.

Unfortunately, I did experience a few issues during the remainder of my stay. Housekeeping never came by to clean the room or provide fresh towels throughout my visit. When I called to request additional towels, it took over 30 minutes for them to arrive. More concerning, on my final day, I saw a small roach crawling from the mini fridge when I opened the door. I ended up discarding my food because I wasn’t sure if it had been contaminated. Later that morning, after showering, I saw another roach, this one much larger inside the bathroom. I was able to capture photos of the second sighting and recorded a short video. Upon checking out, I informed the front desk clerk of what I had seen. He provided me with the managers contact details and I follow up via email. It's been 2 days and I haven't received a response.

Not sure of the staffing issue. We stayed there for 3 nights, but never see staff coming in to make the bed, take out the trash, or resupply room with towels. Had to get the towel and toilet papers from front desks. Otherwise the property was clean and near by freeway which is convenient

My room was clean, roomy, and comfortable - except for the pillows. I don't understand why they are square-shaped. I'm a side-sleeper mostly. Any time I turn, I have to shift my body over so my head can rest center on the pillow. After a long day under hot sun, I couldn't wait to get a good sleep. Good sleep never came.
