Front desk staff customer service was so quick and professional, Room was so clean and nice . We loved as it had Microwave Fridge and utensils and cups and plates , it was like home . We loved the amenities.. we loved the Breakfast. It was delicious. Thank you

Have stayed here a number of times over the years and they never disappoint, cept for the addition of parking charges which has been escalating. I did have connection issues in connecting to the TV for Netflix etc. so that could use some updating. Also, I notice that my room did not have a toaster or blender in the kitchen but all in all clean and comfortable.

They offered an extra bed and then say they don’t have one.

Since checking in the staff were amazing. Very welcoming and friendly. The property is very clean and up to date. The breakfast was a great experience. Typically you get basic breakfast such as pancakes, waffles and cereal. This property gives you a buffet. We will definitely be going back even if our theme parks are an hour away. The room was 10/10 the pictures usually aren’t the rooms you get but the room we got was identical to the pictures. Very highly satisfied

Great kitchen, friendly staff overall, and quiet neighborhood. But rooms are pretty basic and noise from upper units can be intrusive.

All good staff was helpful and neighbor had yapping dog and we moved though would've been more convenient if they had to move as lost the tub that I wanted outside of that all was great!

We transferred to another room due to tye bad smell in the 1st room. The smell of the second room is ok but it seems tue room wasn’t cleaned enough. There were markings on the table and the floor are dirty.

We had the nicest employee check us in. So grateful as it was late and we were exhausted! I was super impressed! Would love to stay here again!

We had a great experience staying at the Hyatt House, we were in town for our daughter’s prom and we were able to check in early at no extra charge. We felt right at home as soon as we walked in the room, the staff was very helpful. I texted the front desk to ask for more pillows and they knocked on the door in no less than 5 minutes, overall the premises felt very safe and comfortable. Thank you for a great experience.

The room I was assigned had a dirty bathroom. The shower and toilet seat area had hair. I repacked my things and went downstairs to ask for another room. The second room was better for my short wknd stay. The fire pit area was a nice place to enjoy my drink and conversations with others staying. The walk in the morning to Starbucks is short and easy and the free breakfast and coffee in the morning was convenient. It was great staying here, would stay again.

This is one of our go to locations when vacationing with a family in SD. It has all the amenities needed for a family, and at a very good reasonable price. In addition, the property is close to everything in the city, both north and south. Highly recommended.

Breakfast was good and the fire outside on during the day and evening was wonderful. Pool was clean and warm. The staff was courteous. One thing that would’ve been nice is if coffee had been available in the lobby outside of the breakfast time which it wasn’t. They told me to go up in my room and use the coffee maker there. I really enjoy being able to get coffee in the lobby and sometimes sit down there as well working on my computer. That and the cups they have for water are paper cones, which are very inconvenient and can’t be set down. Nice hotel otherwise in the room was good size in our king suite.

Our room was NON smoking yet we found cigarettes buds all over the balcony and behind the couch, along with food wrappers. The room smelled like cigarette. The front desk wanted to charge a fee for a 1 hour extended check out while the other was offering it to everyone for free! Clearly was a racial issue. Poll doesn't open until 10am yet there was kids running yelling and jumping in the pool since 7 am

The room wasn’t 100% clean but I also wasn’t looking specifically for the dust on the glass ceiling lamp or in the corners of the bathroom. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous. The bedding and towels were clean. Pet friendly is underrated, they are pet lovers!! Every time we came down to potty they remembered my dog’s name.

Hyatt House is definitely awesome I definitely didn't appreciate that I was given a room not only was that it was on the 1st floor (Suite) shoved in the corner (#176) but right next to the pet area (Poop) ? it broke my heart as I paid decent $$$ for mediocre service ?‍♂️

Everything felt like home

• Cons: Housekeeping ~ We check in on Sunday. Spent the next day in Las Vegas for Lunar New Years. We returned to our room Tuesday 4:00 pm and no one had been in our room, trash still full, beds not made and bath towels still on the floor. • Most definitely will be staying here again.

Room was incredibly spacious - my room had a full kitchen, living room, in addition to the bedroom. Room was clean for the most part. Complimentary breakfast is nothing to brag about but it's decent for being included. I like soft scrambled eggs and they do it well. The location does have some restaurants in walking distance - I walked to Karl Strauss during my stay which is about 1 mile away. The hotel is situated in a techy area of San Diego so pretty clean and seemed safe to walk at night. The only miss in this whole experience was the shower floor. The shower floor is tiled and the color of a dark brown. Some of the corners of the shower floor were dark and dingy. I'm grateful they also provide a rubber mat in the shower to step on because I would not want to step onto the shower floor with bare feet. It seemed gross. The room itself - everything was clean and seemed well done - big swing and miss was the shower and especially the shower floor.

Really amazing staff. The gentleman at the Monday breakfast is truly one of a kind!!! So polite and sweet! He really knows how to treat ladies with respect and kindness. The two receptionists- outstanding! What a great experience! The room was also beautiful!!!

I don't think they had any business charging $22 for parking. I could see a dozen cars parked on the street by the hotel to avoid paying for parking. This isn't a downtown hotel where you would expect this.

Location to shopping, dining and entertainment. Well maintained and helpful staff. Easy access to the building from parking lot. Good breakfast and lobby bar with ample seating and easy access to pool and the outside seating area. Room was clean and perfect size for a couple. Had the most interaction with the evening bartender in the lobby, was in town for the holidays and stayedin the hotel on Christmas eve and Christmas night. The young lady tending bar was fantastic and made for good company and a pleasant experience.

The place is loud, and I was placed in a quiet part of the property. You can hear others taking a shower (I guess the beauty of common walls!) people walking and traffic. I paid extra for the suite and housekeeping none existing! I mean you will expect for them to clean your place daily, not the case. I have stayed at other Hyatts and parking are private, gated and secured, this one they charged you and arm and a leg and no security, no private parking facility.

Great place to stay. The kitchen is awesome. We walked in to a nice note and candy canes. The room and lobby were very clean. The breakfast was very nice, although the waffles were toaster waffles and not my taste. But everything else was great and convenient. My children enjoyed the breakfast very much. The entire family enjoyed the room and convenience. Every employee was kind.

The House Cleaning was very slow and we never had our room cleaned the entire time. They came, but it was late in the afternoon and by then it was too much of an inconvenience.

I really liked this hotel! It's in a great location in SD because it's close to the freeways so if you wanted to drive to La Jolla, Convoy, Downtown SD, North Park, etc it wouldn't take too long! And if you just wanted to stay local to the area, it's just down the road from all the yummy food on Mira Mesa Blvd which is extra convenient. I also loved the free breakfast buffet in the mornings, which was super yummy and such a nice way to start the day! The rooms were clean and come with a microwave and mini fridge, perfect for if you have leftovers from eating out. The only real inconvenience is that the walls are pretty thin so you can hear everyone in the adjacent rooms, as well as the footsteps of those in the room above, so it wasn't always super quiet especially if you wanted to enjoy a morning sleeping in. We did stay during a holiday weekend, however, so the noise was understandable and not a complete deal breaker. Overall I'd definitely stay here again as I find the check in/check out times and the location very convenient. Highly recommend!

Had issues with the TV signal on level 1. Moved to level 3 and it was fine. Parking $22/night, a lil pricey for not being gated. We saw a lot of ppl street parking.

Bishop room 368 6 nights. Very much enjoyed front desk staff and bartenders. Very friendly and personable. My ONLY recommendation is please get the smokers off the front walk way and create an area across from the front door on the knoll. Very nice hedge there. Add a couple outdoor benches and ashtrays. It is well lit at night and out of the way for us smokers. We are considered outcasts and having us stand on the walkway makes it worse. Ugly comments are not necessary so put us out of view comfortably. Thank you for a great business trip. See you again in April. This was my second time spending a week here. Loved it. Thank you. Comfy environment

This was a difficult trip because I was there to watch my grand baby while my daughter was in the hospital. The staff was aware of the situations and found ways to accommodate our needs without us having to ask. I am forever grateful for the staff that helped us through this difficult time.

Great hotel for families. Comes with fully loaded kitchen. Suites are perfect size for 4 people. Breakfast was surprisingly really good. Only downside is parking is very tight and pullout bed is very uncomfortable.

I like the different breakfast variety every morning and staff coming around being very helpful and they made sure the breakfast area was always clean and plenty to eat. Since Hyatt House is located in a business area It would have been nice if the hotel had brochures of nearby activities. Overall it was an excellent 3 nights stay and would definately stay there again.

This was one of the best properties we have stayed.

Shower was not clean. Base boards were dirty. When you shower water floods entire bathroom. Air conditioning was the worst.... ten minutes youre hot the next 10 minutes you'd be frozen. Air conditioning could not keep up to regulate temperature in the room.

Room is very clean, spacious with a balcony. Breakfast was amazing! I didnt like the paid parking and the guy that checked my family in wasn’t welcoming and never acknowledged us the whole time during our stay.

My second stay at this hotel, for two nights, was problematic. The first night's broken and noisy AC, despite a repair attempt and a loud fan provided as a substitute, led to a poor sleep. While the AC was fixed for the second night, improving my comfort, the check-out experience was unacceptable. A dog at the reception desk, handled by staff during service, caused me severe allergic discomfort and appeared unprofessional. For the significant cost, I truly hope to see improvements in both facilities and service.

I enjoyed my stay! I was in town to visit nearby relatives. The experience at Hyatt House was pleasant all-around. I will definitely stay here again.

My son, Max, and I enjoyed our stay. We were there for the Body Rock. Max is with G Train. This place was convenient. Loved our room and the breakfast! I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and families. Oh! The kitchenette was a pleasant surprise!

When we arrived, all the hosts were very welcoming and we were well informed of the amenities available. Once we got to our hotel, the king-bed suite felt like a small 1-bedroom apartment. It had a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, 2-burner electric stove and a dishwasher. This suite had a full-sized sofa bed as well. We were on the first floor, so our room offered a small patio area facing the pool. Our stay came with traditional continental breakfast, which was better than I expected. There was a variety of options to help us get our day started without having to worry about going somewhere for breakfast. You will need a vehicle to get around, so if that’s not an issue and you are traveling with kids, this is a great choice.

Our room smelled awful when we walked in. We realized it was the garbage disposal upon further inspection. The bathroom sliding door was broken and did not lock.

We also love the dining option as it has its own restaurant and complimentary breakfast .it was so convenient and everything was there what we needed and We didn’t have to go find and eat out . We looking forward to come stay here in future too

Nice location. Was a little road construction going on by main entrance off of Mira mesa but detour was an easy fix. Check on smooth and cleaning staff very courteous and came back after we left for the afternoon. Breakfast staff was more than willing to accommodate me taking food back to the room as the area was very busy and my child gets overwhelmed by large crowds.

Staff especially at breakfast was excellent. They have a nice system there. Though one eventually gets use to it, you do need a map to find a room especially if it’s further away from the main lobby.

The room was in need of updating. The shower ceiling leaked water when the room upstairs used their shower, and the room needed repainting and updating. The bedroom was tight, but the main living room was more spacious. It was nice having a kitchen, and their breakfast was delicious with lots of options.

It was a very nice and relaxing stay. We were on a family trip for the weekend with our kids. The place was clean and everything looked new. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

Hotel staff were nice and check in was easy. Some issues with cleanliness I.e. fingerprints on mirrors, hairs on pillows etc. Nice breakfast options if you have kids, and pool is heated which is great. If you’re on a budget, this is a good option. Not the best, not the worst.

The king size bed was so uncomfortable. My husband and I kept rolling into each other all night because the bed sagged in the middle.

My family stayed here, with two kids and our little corgi. The room was clean and spacious. Bathroom was equipped with toiletries. The property was close to a good restaurant, in addition to the hotel restaurant. The included breakfast was top notch.
