Reviews
The hotel is praised for its excellent location, particularly for its proximity to Petco Park. However, many guests express dissatisfaction with the service, citing long wait times, unhelpful staff, and hidden fees. The cleanliness of the rooms and hotel amenities are also points of contention.

They also give their guests free water if asked "Solar Rain PH water". Make sure you ask for some... I love it,

Bar , breakfast

The roof bar was a great feature of this place. We were traveling with a group, so the roof was a nice place to meet up. As for “amenities”, I feel like the resort fee was way too high for a place with no pool. Ditch the fee, stop handing out free waters - the plastic is bad for the planet anyway!
- 5/5
Amazing stay for the weekend. Upon arrival check-in was definitely the set and stone for the type of weekend my wife and I had. Thank you to the staff at check-in for being so helpful and welcoming. Shout out to Felix from Borrego Rooftop Lounge, he was amazing to both my wife and myself. Orange Line drink was fire 100/10
- 5/5
Great location, walking distance to Gaslamp district and to many restaurants . We have a great view of the Petco park from are room and rooftop bar
- 3/5
Bad service/ Rooftop manager was rude and not helpful. Front counter check in staff not helpful. We waited for an hour while others were helped after us.
- 5/5
Great room, great service and location next to the ballpark. Just a side note, valet parking was $70.00 which was shocking.
- 5/5
Property was walking distance to everything and ballpark.
- 5/5
We have stayed a few times and have enjoyed it every time. Checking in is easy, parking is easy and the location is prime.
- 5/5
Helpful staff… comfy rooms.
- 5/5
My room was quite clean. I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, and the staff was extremely kind and helpful.

Staff was amazing and made our stay extra special!
- 3/5
The hotel is very nice, location is good but very loud when trying to sleep a lot of outside noise
- 4/5
They do however need to up their food service game. Lobby restaurant breakfast was subpar, and rooftop Mexican place had amazing views and ambience but poor service. Manager comped our dinner, but the experience was spoiled by that point.
- 4/5
Great place to stay if you are spending the weekend in the Gaslamp district or seeing a concert or a game at Petco. Lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Rooms are very nice, they have everything the average person needs for a stay and it was all clean.
- 5/5
Nice hotel near Petco Park. Clean spacious room, comfortable bed, helpful staff. Location is great!
- 5/5
The property welcomed our cat (which was awesome), was so close to Petco we could see if from our room and had THE BEST rooftop restaurant. We could see right down into Petco and watch the game. THE BEST.
- 4/5
Location was perfect. It was central to everything that we wanted to do.
- 5/5
Did not eat breakfast
- 5/5
Room was very nice. We were able to upgrade to a room with downtown, sunset and stadium view. Perfect location to walk around and explore.
- 5/5
Great location, we had the petco view! Would definitely stay again.

Great stay!

The customer service and hospitality at this hotel was impeccable! Everyone was so helpful and courteous. I would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Room was spacious and quiet. Great location. One block from Petco Park. Nice rooftop bar overlooking the ballpark.
- 3/5
The hotel was also very busy, but still felt well managed. The room was clean overall, which I definitely appreciated, though it did not feel quite as fresh as I personally prefer. Still, it was clean and comfortable enough for our stay. My main drawback was the television setup. I did not like the limited channel options, and I really wish the TVs offered streaming access, which would have made the room experience much better. Overall, a nice hotel with a great location, modern feel, helpful staff, and a good rooftop.

A great spot in the gas lamp area. Just slightly off the beaten path of fifth Street. The rooftop bar/restaurant, Bordego, was very good. Looks right down on Petco Right Field.
- 5/5
Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. Would recommend.
- 5/5
Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. Would recommend.
- 3/5
There's a $34 a day amenities fee charged after you check out They "give" you $15 dining credit too use in their restaurants daily. The food on the rooftop left something to be desired. We wasted $120 on a dinner that none of us ate. On a brighter note, the hotel staff was very kind and attentive. The hotel is in a great location to walk around and explore.
- 1/5
Absolutely repulsive unsanitary rooms covered in filth. No customer service from managers. They do not care about their guests or their pets. I have documentation of what they deemed clean enough to expose us too.
- 5/5
Great location and cool rooftop bar.
- 5/5
Loved our stay at Hotel Indigo! The room was super clean, the staff was friendly, and the rooftop bar had such a great vibe with good music. The location was also perfect, which made everything easy to get to. The price point was great, too. Would definitely stay here again!

Good hotel
- 4/5
Great location and staff. Beware there is a $34/day “amenity fee” added to your bill at the end of your stay. I was unaware of this when booking through Expedia. I feel this should be included in the daily rate and it will negatively affect my opinion of IHG hotels for future stays.
- 5/5
Everything was great!
- 3/5
Pluses: great view and location. Servers during breakfast and valet staff were very nice and helpful.
- 0.5/5
The lifts were very quick and also the location is ok if you are going to the convention center It's been 9 days since my stay and I still haven't got my 400 dollars deposit back! that's right, a 400 USD DEPOSIT that I was told I would be released in maximum a couple of days. They wouldn't even charge you that much in a top Las Vegas resort, hopefully I'll get my money back soon, but I can't in good conscience recommend a hotel that charges that much, asks so much for a deposit that takes ages to give back (that's if they even do so) and does not include breakfast. Completely unacceptable

The room was very nice and big. I was glad they have windows that actually open to get fresh air. Very quiet and good soundproofing noise from other guests. The food in the lobby restaurant was just ok. Nothing special. I did fall in the shower and got hurt bc of their negligence.

Great places to stay. Clean friendly staff will stay there again.

The staff was very professional.
- 1/5
My room was dirty very dusty I was sneezing because of the amount of dust .Hair was everywhere shower , beds , and floor. I explain to them the importance of how the room should be clean but nothing was done .
- 1/5
My room smelled like cologne and there was hair in my bed. I was able to at least change rooms but was a big pain .
- 1/5
Not to mention we had to ask for a new room because our first was dirty. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Staff was nice but useless.
- 5/5
The stay was great! Staff was great, the rooftop bar was closed even after I made a reservation and got confirmation text which was a disappointment but the girl at the desk made a recommendation to the Nobel rooftop which was fantastic. Breakfast was also GREAT, we ate there twice.
- 5/5
Clean room, convenient location

Cleanliness of the hotel and room was amazing, service wise and internet was a little slow but i will definitely visit again.

Room was cute and clean. Everyone was friendly and the rooftop restaurant bar was nice as well.

Clean and spacious room, good amenities and service, did not appreciate the hidden 450$ deposit fee that I found out about only after arrival and check-in.

- 5/5
Comfortable stay for the night. Plenty to do in the surrounding area. Speedy, and amazing customer service.
- 5/5
I had the most spectacular view
- 5/5
The location was perfect, clean restrooms and rooms. The Bed was comfortable and only 15-20 minutes waslk to Gaslamp, Seaport Village and 30 to Little Italy. Also, Table 509 for Breakfast was 🔥. Sergio, was great. Recommend The Cali Omelette and Breakfast Burrito with Cafe con leche. The Borrego Rooftop kitchen had great views and a great drinks with wonderful service from the Head Bartender. There is a $39 amenities stay per day that I do wish we knew about, but its all good coming from Vegas we are familiar with resort fees. Finally, an awesome market/deli around the corner that had everything. The location is dope. Had a great Valentine's Weekend with the lovely.
- 5/5
This place is top-notch. I highly recommend Hotel Indigo. From housekeeping, valet and front desk they all offered 5 star service.

Clean room
- 4/5
Hotel was clean had a rooftop bar rooms where nice staff was nice valet was quick but when it was time to leave no one answered to help me bring down my bags
- 3/5
The staff was wonderful and very sweet to my dog. The room was a bit smaller than I expected and the views were not like I saw in photos of Petco Park. The only TV channel options were news and sports, which was a real challenge since I had my pup and wasn't going out. I hoped to watch a movie or two. Overall, and this is not a knock on the hotel at all, but the location was sketchy. Esp needing to walk a little dog, there were homeless people everywhere, the streets were filthy, and there wasn't a blade of grass anywhere to be found. It's quite disappointing b/c the gaslamp area used to be so much nicer but it did not feel safe and in fact I was basically told to only stay 3 blocks in each direction.
- 3/5
We had ants in room, they moved us and had issues with hot water.staffbever answered phone had to get dressed to go downstairs for assistance. Severely understaffed
- 5/5
Great location to go to the stadium. Friendly. Staff. Excellent vallet service super quite also

- 4/5
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent. The location was a litle away from the more active section.
- 5/5
Breakfast wa great. Staff helpful, no supraises at checkout. Excellent 3 night stay.
- 3/5
On the good side, the rooms are quite spacious and it is in a good location.
- 2/5
Staff was friendly but the experience was underwhelming. Got there at 4:00 to check in, the room I requested wasn't available so I settled for a lesser room. The Lesser room was situated facing the interior which I was okay with since they were having a concert downtown. When I got to the room I noticed the bathroom had ants. Notified the front desk via the text message that they send out. Took over an hour for them to respond. They didn't move me and inform me that I would have a similar room or at least the one I paid for on the interior. Got to the room it was on the exterior facing the concert which allowed me not to get much sleep. Just wasn't a good experience. the
- 3/5
Tvs can be improved. Its a 55inch tv in 720p and its not smart. Supposed to be a 4 star hotel. Additionally I paid for a premium room with a city view but my view was just looking directly into some apartments or another hotel. No parking on site was also a big issue for me. Either you walk 2 blocks or pay $65 a night for valet. Supposed to be a 4 star hotel but has 3 star amenities.
- 3/5
Tried checking in at 3:50pm. Room wasn’t ready they said it would be an hour. Found out the rooftop bar and restaurant and their other bar is closed during the week. Only open for breakfast. What a disappointment! Then a guest came back and said they gave them a dirty room. Our room ended up being ready in 20 min. Found dirty sock in room and 2nd day we got no new towels. They were promptly brought to us. Changed a lot since we stayed here 8 yrs ago. Won’t be back. It’s just ok. The closed bar/restaurant being the main reason. I guess some places just didn’t recover from the pandemic
- 3/5
The room wasn’t ready and had to wait until 6:30 pm to get in the room
- 4/5
The first night the room did not get cleaned. We requested towels other nights. There is only one post for towels in the bathroom. Hence the towels were on the floor. The hotel charged a resort fee. Pretty standard but the promised coffee bar downstairs was empty and there was on one tea bag on the stand. We got a credit at restaurants but the bar was only open 1 day we were there. The restaurant was only open for breakfast until 9 am. I had to set my alarm to get my $15 free coffee and Tea.
- 2/5
Very understaffed and check in was brutal, rooms were also not ready
- 3/5
When I asked additional questions, he seemed irritated and stated they were dealing with a situation. While I understand emergencies happen, it does not excuse the lack of basic customer service during check-in. This interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional. It may be that this employee needs additional training in guest relations. I’m not being petty, but the greeting was undeniably rude and set a poor tone for an otherwise great stay.
- 1/5
I’m not one to leave negative reviews however, I feel like a should. The room itself was fine but the service is not good. We arrived at the hotel and our was not ready, along with may other people experiencing this issue. They were unsure when it would be ready. Check in is at 4pm and our room was not ready until 8:30pm
- 5/5
Yes
- 2/5
We arrived early and then, Unfortunately, we waited several hours past check in to get a room because none were clean. The front desk was understandably overwhelmed, but i had to ask and then justify the next morning to be compensated. We missed part of a concert we came for.
- 1/5
Took 2 hours to check in - rooms were not ready at 4pm. Finally checked in around 6pm
- 5/5
Room was clean and well-appointed. Proximity to Petco Park and downtown area was perfect
- 5/5
Never given an apology for paying twice. I was eventually (2 days) after much stress able to find someone on hotel accounting to help me. Hotel room cleaning was marginal at best. Over priced for value
- 5/5
Very nice rooms.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Awesome
- 5/5
Large, comfy room, good service, good location
- 2/5
I stayed at this hotel 6 nights while I was attending a conference and 1) my room was not cleaned at all one day, 2) cleaned poorly on a second day, and 3) cleaned only after I came down to request the service on a third day. I literally had to come down 3 times to alert staff of cleaning issues. According to the manager, Ashley, this was an issue “request, specifically concerning the linen change.” I requested the refund and am still waiting. And, as stated in my email, am not referring to the amenities fees, which are absurd as they are forcing guests to eat inside the hotel and drink “unlimited” coffee/tea. Understand that people who travel for business may be the whole day outside. I paid 32 dollars for 2 bootlegs of water, unbelievable.
- 5/5
great location, clean room, great staff
- 5/5
The hotel as a whole was fantastic! We loved and enjoyed the atmosphere, it was high-quality, luxurious. The property inside and out was well-kept and clean. The rooms were spacious and cozy. The staff were friendly and very helpful when requesting service.
- 5/5
Great staff
- 2/5
Towels were dirty, never received a voucher for drinks or food. Room was not very clean.
- 3/5
I personally won’t stay here again. Bad interaction for me with the front desk, lady. Definitely overpriced. And for me, I’d rather just go stay somewhere else.
- 4/5
Room was nice, but the room was missing the complimentary slippers, pen for writing, laundry bag and enough towels for 2 guests. Luckily, there was an employee cleaning another room and she gave us the towels which we really needed.
- 2/5
Don’t expect to get their own advertised rooftop credit — it wasn’t applied at checkout, and customer service just keeps delaying the refund. Total waste of time.
- 2/5
Nickel and dime type hotel with rude front staff.
- 5/5
Clean
- 5/5
Only issue i had while the stay was my neighbors on the left side of our room was up until 4 am talking loud going in and out of the .while the door slam every time . Ugh . like it was a party i did mention it to the front desk they did get quite by that time it was time for me to getting up to check out .

Great place, great location, friendly
- 5/5
Good location. Great view from the rooftop bar. Service was a little uneven.
- 1/5
We contacted the property to let them know that we will be checking in after mid-night. The valet service person was asleep behind the counter. The AC in our room did not work, it was at 78 degrees and they wanted us to use a fan instead of finding a room with an AC that worked. The front desk reception and manager had absolutely no customer services skills and kept reciting the terms 'that is our policy' - ridiculous! Just work with your guests to make things right!
- 3/5
This is NOT a 4 star hotel. It is dated, room was run down and poorly maintained. Lots of damage and wear and tear. No pool, did not live to expectation or price.
- 5/5
Close to Petco Park, clean, and very friendly and helpful staff.
- 5/5
Not sure about daily fee with no pool With stay again
- 4/5
Close to petco park that is a plus…just one thing they don’t have is a pool.
- 5/5
Great hotel fun rooftop bar bartender Josh was good very friendly staff especially Skylar Food in restaurants were delicious.
- 3/5
Visit was a let down. Last time I was there the visit was close to perfect. This time, we were right underneath the rooftop restaurant. Very noisy, particularly last evening. Cleanliness lacking in that room was not correctly made . Another day inundated with Clorox. Slippery bathroom. Felt that resort fee was a rip off . Breakfast was excellent. Front desk staff very nice
- 5/5
Beautiful boutique hotel just a block from Petco Park. Very walkable and close to so many restaurants and Seaport Village. We were lucky to get a free parking space in front of the hotel. Easy walking area and safe. Hotel was very updated and had so many amenities such as water and snacks in the room. Free coffee and tea also. The rooftop bar is also spectacular! We absolutely loved this hotel and will definitely book here again!
- 5/5
Great location if you’re staying in the gaslight District close to Petco Park and there’s several restaurants and bars in walking distance. The valley parking was extremely expensive ( $60 per night) however there is several parking garages and street parking available if you’re able to grab it. We really enjoyed our stay! definitely would stay again!
- 5/5
Ballpark adjacent! Great night life around it.

Hotel location was central to Petco Park and a lot of downtown eateries/bars. Quality of hotel was top notch, one of the best in the area. Parking is valet only ($65), huge bummer. Food at hotel restaurants very expensive, quality just ok. Service was excellent as our room was available for early check-in. Sign up for their rewards or else you'll pay for early check-in. Room quality was also fantastic. Only issue was the noise coming out of the mini-fridge, and also a water dripping noise coming from the floor above. Surprisingly the walls were very thick and I barely heard anyone coming in/out of the elevator nearby or through the hallway. Also, the surrounding area is extremely dog friendly so dog smells (mostly urine) are abundant and expected. Hotel is also dog friendly but I barely saw any dogs inside. Only once you step outside.
- 5/5
Great place for a night around the gas lamp district. We went to a concert at Petco Park and it was perfect! Walkable to everything you need, friendly staff, clean rooms and in the heart of everything!
- 5/5
Awesome place within walking distance from Petco Park, restaurants and gaslamp. Clean with cool bar upstairs.
- 4/5
CONS: Shower heads could do with a clean as the holes were clogged and didn't let that much water out. Room servicing was very good, however they always seemed to arrive in the late afternoon when we were using the room so we had to leave and come back which was frustrating. Our main negative was how expensive the hotel is. The daily charges of £25 dollars added to your bill at the end for amenities was a bit much - so really the free WiFi and free water was not actually free! I'd stay again but would have to think about all the additional charges first.
- 5/5
Great location and super nice staff. The rooftop bar was great! The bedding was dirty when we arrived but house keeping quickly resolved the issue. Will stay again!
- 4/5
Ask for a room thay doesn’t face Petco park. While the view is nice, the noise is inescapable. There’s also a very loud bar that blasts music till 10pm.
- 5/5
I loved how close it was to the petco park and just walking distance to so many things in the gaslamp quarter
- 3/5
No pool but amenity fee, hotel was a great location, bedding was comfortable however room was not the cleanest

Visited SD to celebrate wedding anniversary. Hotel is in great location near Petco park and even has a nice view of Petco field from Rooftop. Upon check in, the room we were provided was dirty, there was pubic hair on and around toilet. I provided pictures to front desk and we were moved to 722. The front desk attendant made it a point to state that housekeeping had just checked this new room and it was clean. Issues; went to take a shower and shower soap was empty, housekeeping had to bring a new bottle, the hard vinyl floors were sticky and dirty. Tried to secure our valuables in safe and it is not bolted to top of closet shelf and almost fell on my head. The safe is just sitting, protruding from closet shelf. Very heavy, a bad accident waiting to happen. My husband rolled over in bed next morning found an empty vodka bottle left from prior guest on shelf under night stand. As we were checking out, we looked under bed and discovered underwear from previous guest along with trash and a hair tie. The hotel hallways were dirty with crumbs and debris. There was a half eaten cookie sat on the table outside of 7th floor elevator for over a day. The rooftop bar, service from Felix was the best thing about this hotel. Michael front desk attendant was also really nice. We explained a glass had accidentally slipped off counter in bathroom in our room and broken. He was gracious and thanked us for letting him know. Side note, drinking glasses provided in bathroom near toilet is gross.

The hotel was a decent stay, pretty quiet for being next to the ballpark and gaslamp district. Make sure you use your dining credit early, they are very specific when to use it, we arrived at the restaurant 15 mins before close but they already closed the kitchen.

The roof top bar was cool. The room was very nice and clean. Great stay for a padres game. It was a good room. The street entrance by Valet was kinda dirty for some reason but the hotel was very clean and nice on the inside. Parking is over priced.

We loved the location and closeness to Petco Park and all of our favorite gaslap spots. We would love to stay again sometime.
- 5/5

My room was cozy and inviting. I was allowed to check in at 11 am without any additional fees. Breakfast was also amazing.

The hotel is beautiful and the room was comfy. Perfect one night stay.

If you have your own car make sure to find a good parking spot.
- 5/5
The hotel was nice other than the elevator smelling like dog urine that was the only down side.
- 2/5
They have an advertisement on their 12 that says 24 hour room service and it's not true. Their rooftop restaurant closes earlier their advertised. We were give a $15 credit to use that we were not able to because the restaurant closed early.

Modern, comfortable hotel in Gaslamp quarter. Room was nice size and clean. Restaurant was closed so can’t comment on food or drink

My room for a disabled person was great. My only suggestions to the manager was the need for the phone to be moved to bedside table, and a different bedside lamp because it was very hard to turn on/off without getting out of bed. Again, I cannot praise the staff and service highly enough, particularly a server named Sergio.

Nice proximity to the Gas Lamp Quarter or the Baseball park. Friendly staff.
- 5/5
Friendly staff at check in. The only downside i experienced is that the roof top bar was closed due to some renovation. Did not experience my stay too much. Plenty of restaurants and bars close by.

let me check in early and check out late (very accommodating for my business trip) Helpful and kind staff. I have stayed here before on a personal trip, now my business trip. Will definitely return.

Staff were excellent, especially Harmony!

Close to bars, restaurants and Petco field.

Great location, and nice hotel.

Beautiful

Accommodating front desk who helped me with storage of large items and early check in.

the hotel was just very very basic. both the indoor bar and the roodtop bar or restaurant seemed to have incredibly limited hours, the decor was extremely plain, the overall look and feel of the hotel was fairly cheap. we paid $650/night for a room and experience that was more like a $250/night hotel. really dissapointed

The room we were put in had an old room service tray outside of the door from the moment we got there, to the first morning. The wall and baseboard around the corner from our room was water damaged and smelled very musty. The staff was kind but I got the voicemail (that was full) for in room dining 5 times. The food was delivered lukewarm and alls we ate were the fries from our two meals. This food was placed outside our door on the 2nd night around 5 and not picked up until the following morning around 9am, by that time it was a very unpleasant smell. The location was amazing, we went to a padres game and had a blast, literally a 3 minute walk from the hotel. When I checked out, I was given a $630 bill with ALL of these random add ons, they ended up taking all these off for a correct amount of $280 owed for the valet and room service. I’m worried if I didn’t catch that mistake I would have been charged that full amount and they would have looked the other way.

I was very pleased with every aspect of the hotel and would recommend it to anyone staying in San Diego.

This hotel was fine. The staff were friendly, and the daily room service was nice (I forgot how much I miss this post-covid). I was there during a time when the gym was shut down and then the water was shut off...which was not a big deal because it was overnight only for one night-- but whatever they were fixing resulted in a hammer drill and a lot of clanging ALL night. I couldn't sleep at all and I was a mess for my meeting the next day. They didn't even reduce the rate for the night. Every other night was good, but it took me days to recover after zero sleep and then no gym to work out the stress.

Great location really nice staff.walkto everything

Great location, a block from Petco stadium. Traffic in the area was not as busy as other surrounding hotels. Our room had a great view of Petco park. Room could use some maintenance and new/fresh towels.

Walkable

This east village gem has the best Petco Park views and if you have a pup with you, they are treated just like a guest as I had a dog bed and bowl sent up immediately upon arrival. Great staff attention at check in, room was pristine, could not have bad a better stay. The view was chef's kiss!

Excellent customer service by staff, a great view of Petco park from my corner suite.

Location and cleanliness

The area around the hotel is not overly busy so pulling up to the small valet area was easy. The check in was very easy as well. The front lobby area is nice and tranquil. All of the staff I have come across are very friendly.

Harmony was so nice. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Had a wonderful stay! Loved the rooftop and view. Our room was clean and comfortable.

Such an awesome hotel steps away from Petco Park. The room was clean and comfortable, front desk staff AMAZING, and surrounding area is packed full of awesome bars, restaurants and shopping. Definitely planning on staying again!

Front desk was amazing.

Rooftop bar was really nice & super close to petco and other bars.

Overall the property was clean and the hotel staff was on point. We never encountered any rudeness or attitudes. They are the stars of the property. Unfortunately the first morning of our stay I was awakened at 6:45 am by what sounded like a large jackhammer being used just outside of my room. And to my surprise, it WAS a large jackhammer being used just outside my room! It was LOUD! It lasted for about 2-1/2 hours! Almost a deal breaker. We considered walking out. But we weathered the storm and gave it a chance. I’m glad we did. Overall our stay was a pleasant and memorable one.

Our room was ready when we arrived and they wanted to charge us $50 to get in 3 hours early. Unbelievable and never had that happen before. Manager finally agreed to let us in with no charge. Shame on IHG for that policy. A missed opportunity to make us happy that turned into a negative experience.

We love staying here! Always the kindest staff and such a perfect stay. Walking distance all the best gas lamp spots - PERFECT for walking to and from Padres games. Safe, reliable, relaxing every time.

We enjoyed the bar on 9th floor overlooking an area of Prtco Park.

Lovely trip! We had a blast! Very well located!

While the hotel itself was nice and the front desk staff were pleasant and very helpful, the same can’t be said about valet parking. We chose to use valet, only to find a large dent on the back bumper when they returned our car at the end of our stay. After filling out their paperwork, the parking staff said they would forward everything to their manager, and he would be calling within a couple days. We continually had to reach out to make sure they were investigating the case. Three weeks later, we got an email telling us the claim had been denied.

We had a five star experience at the Hotel Indigo. Everything met or exceeded our expectations. Location was perfect for baseball at Petco Park. Room, lobby, rooftop bar all were top notch. Shout out to Sergio who served us delicious breakfast during our stay. We will return!

Loved our stay! Hotel is in a fantastic area and is within walking distance of many restaurants. Got to see all of the night life in the area while here.
- 5/5
Nice overall property!
- 5/5
This hotel was amazing! The parking situation was a little confusing as there is no actual parking lot. You kind of have to just park on the street until valet helps you out. Our room and view were incredible and the staff was super friendly and accommodating! I would stay here again!
- 4/5
we stayed for just one night - but it was an easy and comfortable stay. kudos to the valet who found us a street parking spot just across the street. and everyone at the front desk were very friendly and personable. the only downside was walking around gaslamp district at night - saw some homeless people with mental illnesses screaming and throwing things. so sad, that is something as a country we need to fix.
- 5/5
The hotel is very clean, with absolutely comfortable beds & pillows. The location is convenient to many places-including restaurants and nightlife bars, so music does travel up but nothing that kept me or my friend from sleeping. The best part of my stay was the customer service, specifically Imani at the front desk. She was able to accommodate early check-in and late check out, had restaurant recommendations, and explained the all amenities. I can't speak on the parking as I didn't have a vehicle on this trip. Would recommend this hotel and would stay here again, just be aware of the amenity fee that seems to be a standard for this area in San Diego.

The roof top bar staff were amazing

Everyone on staff was delightful and friendly. Jenny was a superstar at the front desk and made our anniversary weekend an absolute delight.

Love this hotel

Great açaí bowl at the 509 restaurant. The neighborhood was very walkable and close to the action. The only thing I did not like was the resort fee. As we already had a breakfast package, we spent most of the fee at the roof top bar/restaurant. Would have preferred more healthy take away snack food options .

good little hotel with great rooftop bar

Late the same afternoon i went to check out the 9th floor restaurant and asked the bar tender if i could look at the menu, she couldn’t be bothered (i was only person there) she said i had to see the wait staff for a menu. When he went to get it it was behind the bar. Needless to say we wont be back.

Excellent hotel and location. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean and comfortable, and the food was excellent. Will stay here every time we visit San Diego
- 3/5
On the plus side, the hotel is centrally located. The rooms are small but nice. They provide two free bottles of water. Very nice rooftop bar. My main issue is with the staff I dealt with. Front desk staff was below par. We didn't get our two free water bottles on check-in. We decided to add on a third night to our stay and I spoke with the front desk beforehand to make sure that the extra night got added on without issue. Instead, we got locked out of our room when we got back and the room wasn't cleaned on the last night. The employees always seemed to be eating simultaneously while talking to me. A few other minor things Absolutely zero view other than looking into other people's windows. For $400 a night I would expect a little better than a view of a dumpster and other people's bedrooms. Ice machine didn't work. Elevator access was fairly frustrating because the card reader only worked intermittently. The shower floor is literally the most slippery I have ever used out of probably thousands of hotels I've used. I'm surprised more people haven't slipped. $65 a night for valet seems a bit high. It also seems understaffed as there seemed to be only one person at any time to pick up or drop off vehicles. So overall, a below average experience. I'll stick to the Hard Rock next time I come back to that part of town.
