Great spot! However, needs much better windows/sliding glass doors. I could hear everything going on outside at night. Beds are extremely soft and I don’t sleep well on those, but that’s a me thing. Otherwise, great location, clean and all working there were great!

There was a lot of street noise (which I expected for the area), but a white noise app helped drown in out. I didn’t hear noise from other guests. It was very clean, and customer service was great too. The pool was warm, and the breakfast at the restaurant was great too. I would stay again.

Room was very clean and the shower was great with plenty of room and the floor was not slippery like so many are for me with balance issues. I would never want a room over looking K street due to the noise from the clubs.

Property location was close to the convention center where we were attending an event. It was also close to many bars & restaurants. Valet parking was unavailable when we arrived. We had to park 0.5miles away & walk w our children & luggage at 9pm. Room cleaning did not take place until very late in the day after 3pm.

Where my husband had stayed for 2 times (Oct 2023 and June 2024). We used his Hilton rewards and stayed in room T 451… beautiful… Im thankful to him, I get to experience staying there at that suite. I stayed there last night and had the top view of the place where we specifically stayed at and the view of buildings. Im keeping his memories alive. It is painful to do this, as Im sad missing him, but at the same time Im happy to feel his presence… Thanks Hilton Gaslamp Quarter for being part of my good memories of him

The staff was great. Everything else wasn’t great. The bed was super uncomfortable, parking was $65, a basic breakfast was $67, motion sensing lights in the room went on all night whenever either one of us moved in bed. It definitely was not worth what we spent.

My friend and I loved the size of the room, it was very spacious. We went to a concert at the Rady Shell Center and this hotel was perfect because it was within walking distance. Great bar options and night life in general in the Gaslamp. The gym is a bit small, but it was OK!

They charge unexpected additional fees and taxes not mentioned in total price. We stayed there for 5 days and the room was only cleaned once on the last night. They have a silly “credit” of $15/night where you can buy anything in an overpriced tiny store.

I recently stayed at the Hilton San Diego Gaslamp. While the room and location were, respectively, excellent and good, I was truly annoyed by a simple receipt issue. I specifically requested the receipt to be emailed to me. I'm surprised that such a basic issue would require webpage messages (which I completely ignored), multiple phone calls (with long wait times), and lengthy emails. It is unacceptable for Hilton to be unable to handle such a basic billing issue, which I had already experienced at another Hilton property overseas. It seems Hilton has lowered its customer service standards.

The ductwork in this hotel is horrendously filthy. After a day or so into our stay I began to notice dust building up on not only every surface in our room, but our personal items. I checked the vent in the bathroom and it was FULL of dusty build up!!!

The location was great. Some of the staff were phenomenal and others were "bothered" while on their phones It said premium view and we were facing a brick building. Also it took hours for them to fix the broken air conditioning.

CONS: very loud train nearby became frustrating in the morning when you’re trying to get some rest, many homeless folks around the area (some even exposing themselves), television was hard to figure out and super limited on channels, nightlife noises start once it gets dark so if you’re looking for peace and quiet I would stay elsewhere but I personally didn’t mind it

Amazing. We had a lovely family trip. The hotel was clean, staff were helpful and it was in a great location. The children (and adults) loved the outdoor alley with games and twinkly lights to end the night.

This hotel is great. Close to petco park, a very walkable distance. Check in staff was great. There’s a flemings across the street. I would definitely stay here again. Valet parking on site is great too. 24hrs in and out privileges.

The location of the hotel was in walking distance to Petco Park, the Gas Lamp District and the Seaport Village. There were plenty of food options to choose from all within walking distance. I liked that the valet service provided a QR code for you to use when you wanted your car from the valet. The $15 credit per day was a nice bonus to use at the bar before the event. The room was clean and very spacious. There were quite a few extra fees added onto the bill for the Gas Lamp District.

We arrived at the hotel at 3:45 pm and our room was not ready! The room that we were given was by the elevator so we heard the elevator noise to late at night.

The location was PERFECT. One street away from the hustle and bustle of Gaslamp Quarter, it was easy to "hop over" the Convention Center stairs to the boardwalk, parks, the symphony or head up 5th street to the MANY restaurant and bar options.

Really liked this hotel and would stay there again. Very convenient, especially if you’re going to see a concert at the Rady Shell. My one minor comment, is that the trash cans in the rooms didn’t have a plastic liner bag in them and throwing away food related items felt messy for the staff to have to clean up. Otherwise room was nice.

The property was nice, but be cautious about the homelessness in the area, as there were individuals sleeping right outside. The VIP parking is the only option available, and it’s a bit pricey with no self-parking available.

Unfortunately, despite multiple attempts to follow up, I have received no response from the valet manager, the front desk, or room service. This lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. I expected better service and prompt resolution of the issue, but instead, I am left with a damaged car and no assistance from the Hotel. I strongly advise future guests to be cautious when using the valet service at this hotel

Overall was a nice stay, the valet only option for 65 dollars is kinda a bummer but that’s the only negative thing. Everything else was very nice with our stay.

My family’s overall experience was good, but there were some issues with our stay that just seemed to be the result of lack of attention to detail and poor training. Our room was comfortable, but some of the furniture had scuffs and signs of wear. There was painters tape left on the bathroom wall from obvious repairs. There was a dirty sock left behind by the previous guest, and scotch tape stuck to the walls and ceiling which appeared to from hanging party decorations. We attempted to get new towels and sheets on two different occasions each time requiring multiple reminder calls to the front desk and housekeeping. The staff was very friendly, but again maybe not the most attentive the cleanliness of the rooms or to following through on guest requests.

Being in gaslamp quarter is great if you’re taking in a baseball game or you’re really into the bar scene - but it also makes for a noisy night if you happen to have a room with street facing windows. My room faced lofts or something and some guys car alarm went off all weekend long. All.weekend.long. The hotel though is gorgeous they are very very responsive (via text that they send you as soon as you check in) and everyone from front desk to restaurant waiters and bar tenders are top notch. Parking and the valets is what moved this from a 5 to a 4. Being we were at a convention we all had very very full trunks and such and I received zero assistance either taking anything out of my car (maybe this is a CA thing it is a litigious state) or bringing it into the hotel. It also took me forever to track down someone to check my car in as well as when I wanted my car retrieved despite the scan / qr they give you for “quick service” so the hotel is good the valet - meh

Great stay! Took our kids and they loved it. Food was also great!
