    Location was great because it overlooked the bay and was close to the airport and seaport village. Also, was close to a decent Laundromat on. Midway Bld. Since the hotel didn't have a washer and dryer available to it customers to use the Laundromat was a great option and probably cost less than it there was one at the hotel. There was no complimentary breakfast included. Since the hotel was attached to a restaurant/bar it made it's customers pay for meals at the restaurant. It would have been more convenient if the hotel offered a laundry room for its customers to use for laundry services.

    Loved the location & convenience to the airport. The AC in the room was extremely loud. It kept shutting off & on throughout the night. We would have to shut it off completely each night because it kept waking us all up.

    Hotel is far from all restaurants and entertainment. You need to have your own transportation or uber in order to get anywhere. The hotel itself is nice and quite peaceful by the water.

    TV guide didn’t work, maintenance guy tried reconnecting some wires, but was then “oh, well.” and then just left. We were too tired to do anything but watch TV that night so it was a little annoying. Other than that the staff was very solicitous. Bellhops in particular were outstanding. Also a little surprised there were no pasta items on the room service menu.

    Snack amenities was negligible, peanut M&Ms candy, Skittles, Chocolate milk. No protein or smoothie drinks, no protein bars or healthy snacks. Apparent the hotel wanted you to spend money at the restaurant or coffee bar at their times (hours). Good news Hiltons always have great pillows.

    One thing to know is there is a large construction project going on right beside the hotel, so if you were looking forward to relaxing by the pool, expect a lot of noise from next door.

    The room was very clean. I had a nice view of the harbor. I thought the hotel in general was a little outdated. Room service and bar and grill menu was very limited. I had a hard time finding a menu online. I would have liked a written hotel instruction manual with menus in the room. I didn’t use the pool but it looked quite small.

    The most overpriced stay for what it is. The shower head was missing, with a handheld one shoved in the wall, that wasn’t adjustable to take a normal shower. The toilet handle was held on by plastic wrap. The refrigerator and cabinet it was in were filthy. The whole hotel was very dated and not worth $450/night in any way or form. The staff was incredible and the views of the marina were great, but overall I wouldn’t recommend or stay here again

    Lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff. We had a good lunch at the bar. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was comfortable, too. What made this hotel so special and memorable for us, though, was the night manager, who we encountered when we checked out at 4 am. She was terrific and saved us a lot of time and anxiety about getting to the airport on time. We had a 6:15 am flight to catch. The first hotel shuttle did not leave until 4:30 am, and we did not know how quickly we could get to the airport's Terminal 2 with the shuttle or how long it would take us to get through security. We thought about calling a taxi, but the night manager told us that the wait could take up to 20-25 minutes because there aren't a lot of taxis running so early in the morning. We are somewhat older people and had never used Uber before, but we did manage to download the app on our cell phone the night before. Still, we were not confident about actually using the app while the clock was ticking. The manager took our phone and used the app to order Uber for us. Thanks to the help of this wonderful lady, we got to the airport in plenty of time to get through security and make our flight home. The next time we're in San Diego, we will definitely stay at the Hilton San Diego Airport/Harbor Island again.

    We were very disappointed. We were there for less than 8 hours and only wanted a good nights sleep and a shower before catching our flight. We only got half of that. They shut the water off overnight to do some repairs and didn't offer any compensation.

    My experience was not good. The place is extremely dated and worn. Furniture is dirty and tattered. VERY, Very, very disappointed for the Hilton. They have slipped and fallen very far.. I will not return to this location and will consider other locations elsewhere. To be honest? They're living on the label now, because the standards are definitely well below par. The family should be rolling over in their grave.

    Room had hair in the shower, toliet flushed on and off all night. Most frustrating was we needed early check to get ready in for a 3 pm wedding. They told me on the phone if our room wasn’t ready they would give us another one at 2 pm. They didn’t, and after waiting 1.5 hours had us change in a conference room, and a pool restroom with no power outlets for hairstyling, hotel supervisor was unsympathetic.

    Got there early. One room ready so checked in. No one greeted us, no one asked if we were honors members. We came from a cruise and they would not pick us up at the Pier. They said they only drop off. What? They have two shuttles but refused. When staying that night they would not use the shuttles to take us anywhere. Only use is drop off at airport or Pier. Very unfriendly staff. Refused to look up my honors number. I had to produce it for them to put it on the rooms so I got the points. Will never stay at Hilton again!

    This hotel seriously lacks adequate food and beverage services. The "coffee shop" closes at 10.30am. The "restaurant" is a room full of empty, unlaid wooden tables with loud music and one waiter. A lunchtime burger and fries cost $27! The snack shop is stuffed with the least healthy options imaginable. This is NOT what I expected at a Hilton!

    The harbor view was the best thing about this hotel. There was no hand soap in bathroom when we entered room. We had to ask for more towels, coffee, cups, creamer and sugar. The Wifi was not working during the stay. These little things were just annoying. When we ask for the items, the staff brought them quickly but not having enough items in the room just gave a bad vibe

    I like this property because of the location and parking lot. It was a bit dirty, I had to clean the bathroom when we arrived and I had to call several times for sheets/towels I requested. Breakfast was not free. Other than those things I do like this hotel, it is nothing luxurious but it is safe and quiet and comfortable.

    Check in was not ideal. Key card was not activated so could not get on the secured lot to park the car. Had to wait for 15 minutes for someone to help with luggage cart. The AC unit in the room is so noisy we can’t use it. Room was not as clean as it should have been. Overall a bit dated. Positives are nice cozy bed & gorgeous view.

    The text option and the quick response from the staff. I was able to check out with them, they even checked in during our stay to see how we were doing and most amazingly of all, were able to confirm that my grub hub had been left on the table of the lobby when my delivery came earlier than expected and I hadn’t responded right away. They kept an eye on my order until I came to get it. A lot through text!

    The room felt old and in disrepair, it was the worst Hilton I ever stayed at. The restaurant there was very expensive and the food was awful. Then to top it off it was $35 a night to park there. It wasn't in a busy area so that's just crazy. Hands down will never stay at that Hilton again.

    Then after waiting until 3:15 or so to check back with them was greeted with the same rude disposition. When they finally did check us in she handed me the room keys and that was it. No have a great stay or directions to the elevator. Nothing. I even commented that’s it? She said yes. I normally don’t give a review but two of the 3 front desk personnel could really use some help with their customer service. We weren’t the only ones that noticed this behavior.

    Excellent hotel, excellent food. We booked a top floor suite with an amazing view of the harbor. Staff was friendly, professional and helpful. Gym was fine and pool area pretty nice. Great experience overall

    The property was beautiful very relaxing, very clean and the pool was excellent, the bar was perfect had great time there drinks and watching sports, Now we did not like the fact that we had to wait an extra hour and a half for our room to be ready and staff did not even notify us the room was ready we had to keep asking if the room was ready which made us let to our reservation for our anniversary dinner reservation

    Bathroom was not very clean. Mold in shower. Property seemed old. If the cost was lower this might be overlooked but at $300 or so a night? And $35 a night for parking? Please. To their credit the staff was very friendly and helpful, so Hilton has at least that working in their favor. We travel to San Diego often, will look elsewhere next time.

    Mi estancia fue de solo una noche y, lamentablemente, tuve una muy mala experiencia. Nos asignaron la habitación equivocada y, justo cuando estábamos listos para disfrutar del atardecer, nos llamaron a recepción. Nos hicieron esperar bastante tiempo para informarnos que la habitación no era la correcta. Entre el traslado de maletas y el cambio de cuarto, perdimos por completo el espectáculo del atardecer.     The bed and pillows were terrible, and we had no hot water both days we stayed. I messaged the front desk, and they didn't respond until right before we left and said they got it fixed. The room was not as modern as it looked in the pictures and for the price was not worth it. But the view was amazing!

    2. Suppose have 2 free water but the room only have two will been charged the water bottle. I was very thirsty and I have no choice and opened them . So I have been charged $6 dollars for this . Bc your stuff didn’t prepare the free water for the customers.

    I ❤️ Hilton brand because there is consistency across the nation with their facilities and services. However, the staff in this Hilton were exceptionally friendly and made sure to walk by in the hallways with a smile and a nod, wishing me a good day! That customer service isn’t everywhere.     My plane was delayed so I arrived approx 2:30 am. No airport shuttle, had to take a cab. Just a short ride so the cab driver was rude because he missed a large fare. Night manager was working the front desk. She was rude. Refused to offer a late checkout. At this point it was approx 3am and she told me I could set my alarm for 7am and call down for a late check out (Yes, really 4 hours later!!!)

    The hotel is very nice, and staff are very nice, including in the restaurant. The only thing I didn't care for is the layout of the hotel is confusing and signage isn't so good. Also, there's a $35 parking fee.

    Staff in the reception named “ Queen “ is a terrible employee of the Hotel. She didn’t even greeted us and not smiling with us. She even discouraged us, she makes us feel belittled by saying “ your booked room is only standard, there’s no view” we love Hilton hotels but no plan of staying again the one by San Diego Harbor Drive because of that staff. Sad experience totally ruined day!

    Excellent location. Walking path along the harbor, very scenic. We didn't request a room with a harbor view, but I'm sure it would have been very picturesque. We only stayed 1 night before an early morning flight out. Shuttle was on time. Only issue, was that the parking by the lobby was limited to 15min. Fee to park a car overnight was $18. My daughter came to pick us up for dinner and parked her car in their gated parking lot for under an hour and we got charged $6. Not much, obviously, but didn't make any sense to charge us, especially since they told us it was okay to park in the gated area without charge as long as it wasn't overnight.

    Check in & out was very quick and easy, great customer service. Room service was good too, 20 min wait. There were a few flies in the room but nothing bad. I would say to place the do not disturb sign to not be woken at early time for cleaning. Overall, it was a good stay.

    It was a decent stay. I was there for a short time arriving in the late evening and leaving in the early morning so I didn’t experience the amenities. There was some construction in the lobby area that took from the ambience. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The shuttle driver was especially courteous and pleasant. I really appreciate the convenient reliable shuttle to the airport.

    The only thing that we didn't like was the large dog allowed in the dining room at breakfast that was not a service dog. It was licking the table and put a damper on an otherwise very positive experience. Another guest actually asked to be moved into a different area of the dining room.
