This hotel is amazing! My room was nice and clean with a spectacular view from the 10th Floor. The decor was modern and contemporary. I also had an outdoor balcony. I had dinner one night at Nobu. Fabulous restaurant!

Everything was good until we received our car back from the valet with multiple dents and scratches on the side door. I placed a claim and we’ll see what happens. The valet staff was very nice and apologetic about it, even at a busy time. Still super big bummer of inconvenience and potential expense

Room and bed were great. The shower leaks so much, and the TV didnt work. Front desk blamed it on the internet being down.

We have stayed at Hard Rock a few time but this time was by far the worst. No water pressure, ac barely worked, poor quality blackout curtains, sink didn't drain, pool hours close at 9pm and do not start until 7pm on Saturday. The restaurant food at Mary Janes was very low quality, the patty melt burger was a slider size patty on a patty size bun. Staff was not very friendly or helpful. I hope they make some improvements. It is outdated and needs an update if they want to continue to charge high end prices. There are many hotels in the area that are far better quality for the price. We stayed there because we were attending a show at Petco and it is close to walk but I recommend stayinh at the Hilton or the Marriot instead for the price.

Clean room. Great view. Couldn’t even get to the hotel without walking forever . Padre game night so streets were blocked off. $70 to park valet . No other overnight parking within walking distance

Great Location!

The room was clean, but it needs to be updated. The only problem was that for some reason the tv service was not working properly and didn’t had any tv connection. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is perfect.

Location Noise from the pool party that ran late into the night which impacted our sleep. We understood the pool party was 1pm to 6pm. We weren’t told in advance or at check it that a private party was happening the next day which meant we couldn’t use the pool or outdoor space. Music was so loud you couldn’t hear music on headphones or tv. Windows are not sound proof. We were told to use another hotel if we wanted to use a pool. We were told management would reach out - they haven’t. Overall a very disappointing experience.

Location is great Valet parking is way to expensive, I recommend using a nearby parking garage that charges 15$ per day. Get there early on game nights though.

Location is GREAT! Downtown atmosphere is awesome and being close to the ballpak (PETCO) is great.Staff is very kind and service is excellent. Hotel needs to provide parking as complimentary. When there are ballgames and you have a rental car and go out to do stuff when you comeback you don't have anywhere to park. Near streets and avenues are closed to traffic until the game ends.

Wonderful staff - everyone helpful and when an issue was encountered, it was resolved quickly. Great location for San Diego stay. Actual hours of terrace was not same as posted online when planning. It was closed due to "pool parties" over weekend and this was one of the features we really liked about the property. Just felt like nonguests were more valued than hotel guests in this case.

Nice location if you want to be by the ballpark and go to the gas lamp district. The hotel seems like rock stars partied in it and it’s showing its age. I wish I chose the Omni.

The suite was amazing! The view was great, the bar was amazing, and the food was delicious.

Great staff and fun place to stay. Room was clean and had a great time in the jacuzzi and lounging by the bar. Bar tendors were 💯! This may be the only hotel I stay at in SD from now on.

We did a sister’s weekend at the hard rock and it made our vacation. We did end up getting a suite which we love the extra room in the balcony that came with it. We love the free bikes in the pool parties that came along with our hotel, an amazing experience, top-of-the-line location was amazing for everything in San Diego.

The Hard Rock Hotel SD is in the heart of the Gaslamp neighborhood, making it an ideal location for exploring the area. It’s very walkable, and the hotel itself has a Nobu restaurant, as well as several other restaurants and bars. I highly recommend it! They have fantastic pool parties on the roof and there’s something to do for everyone. We stayed in a suite and it was spacious and clean. The view of the city was beautiful.

The staff was outstanding and our overall stay exceeded our expectations. We’d be more than happy to recommend, and we will have the hard rock as our destination for any of our trips to San Diego.

Location will always be prime if you are looking to stay in gas lamp. However the room felt awfully rundown , especially after being used to their basic studio.. the upgrade to their suite felt like a downgrade. The tv in the living room had dead pixels which I didn’t discover until trying to have a nightcap. The door to the balcony felt ready to break at any moment. Shower had paint peeling and what appeared to be mold. Mirrors in the living room were crusty. I’ve stayed at the hard rock a few times and never had any complaints until now so this was quite disappointing. Bars / restaurants / staff all still great.

The room was nice and clean, expect not to have a fridge. They have is stacked with there stuff. Didnt know breakfast was included if it was. Pool had a party so we didnt go, there is a 70 dollar fee for Valet.

Perfect location for NTI nurse conference at the convention center. 1 block away from Petco Park. Right at the entrance to the Gaslamp District.

Very clean and comfortable room. Bed is very comfortable. Balcony has street view.. its located in the heart of downtown so its close to everything, walking distance from bars, stadium, metro

This motel is very well kept up. Nice to downtown areas, awesome walk to baseball field.

Tv was not working all day. The bathtub was broken and did not work. Took hours before problem was solved. Had to move rooms due to AC leaking all over the floor and got our kids socks wet .

Parking at $70 per day is too much

Clean rooms, wonderful staff

The facility is clean and the staff is friendly and professional. I got a "Float" room, which is a room that opens onto the 4th floor bar area (the bar is named "Float"). I only wish that my patio had not been taken over at 6 am the next morning by crews setting up for some event! The coffee in the room: poor. The coffee in MaryJane's (the on-site restaurant): worse. The food at MaryJane's was so-so. That could be dialed in.

The hotel is located in the heart of gaslamp. Everything is walkable to restaurants, bars, baseball stadium. Parking is pricey $70 per night. They give you perks staying at the hotel like food credit and drink credit which is nice. They had pool party for memorial weekend. We got free entry. The only thing I had never heard from a hotel before was “NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED IN THE HOTEL”. I’m spending over $500 a night and I have restrictions?. Not even Vegas does that. The the staff checking you in can be more welcoming. They had Zero charisma. The room was regular looking. It was clean that’s always a positive. I wish I had room to unpack. It didn’t have dressers. Oh and my Advise to the hotel, start putting in the big shampoos and body wash bottles in the showers instead of the little bottles. I ran out the first day and they come clean every other day. Over all it was good. I enjoyed the convenience.

We could not sleep through the night we stayed on the 12th floor and there is a large machine, a water filter of some sort that creates a very loud buzz or humming through the night. We complained several times and they shut it off for a little while, but then it would come back on and wake us up through the night. He ruined the next day for us as we were extremely tired due to the lack of sleep. The pool is just a pool. There’s really nothing special about it. The chairs around the pool are very old.

We waited two and a half hours for our room after check in, they said they would text when ready. I went back to wait in line again to check and saw everyone else being given rooms immediately. The room was ready when I asked but we never got a text and waisted our time waiting. Paid for a room with a balcony and view, but the room was right on top of all the ac units and was the worst possible view. We never even went outside. Room was worn down and carpet was gross. Stains on the ceiling.

Very convenient location and staff was extremely helpful especially the front security this Memorial Day weekend. The room was very clean and spacious, I would most definitely stay here again but it is quite pricey to stay here.

I don’t really write reviews but I was disappointed in my experience. I tried to check in early and they mentioned that room was not ready yet but is almost. No problem I get it. They took down my phone number and email address to reach out when room was ready. They offered us some passes to the pool area for free since we were staying there so me and the wifey go up there have some drinks, enjoy the vibe, really nice view and atmosphere. By this time it is almost 4pm and tried to check in again and they mentioned it still not ready but will call us. At this point we had reservations for dinner so we walked to our destination for dinner and wondered why the room would not be ready since we did pre-check in at 1pm. By the time we finished dinner we realized we still did not get a call or email that our room was ready. We walked back and by that time it was past 7pm when we asked if the room was ready. The response I got was not great. They mentioned that our room has been ready and had reached out to me. When I verified what number they were calling, that was not my phone number and not sure who it was. The receptionist was not bothered that I called them out on that and was just business as usual. Here is your room keys. I was really looking forward to enjoy the beautiful rooms in your hotel and rent a guitar and record player but it was late already and would not enjoy it. I wish I could have enjoyed this experience as I love hard rock brand but had a bad experience.

Hotel manager refused to speak to us still and they sent us a tray with some fruit and chips for our “inconvenience” they called it. One of the girls had to fly home after because of the panic attack she had. I nor anyone with me will be staying there or at any hard rock hotel ever again.

The furniture in the room was a bit weathered but other than that the stay was great.

We had a great one night stay at the Hard Rock in San Diego. Very convenient to all the Gaslamp Quarter has to offer and close to the train. The room was great.

Room furnishings are a bit beat up… staff is super nice but seem to be a bit short handed on the holiday weekend . Love the location and would certainly go back and book again

It’s a great location if you’re going to a ball game, but you probably won’t get a good nights sleep. It stays loud till 2 AM one night and 4 AM the next . Also, the hot water is hit and miss.

Room was good. Close to everything. Nice people. Bathroom shower made a puddle of water. Liked sitting on the balcony, watching the city. Loud at night but it's located in a city. Overall it was a good stay.

It was just what we expected. It was a nice room. It was clean and comfortable.

The roll-a-way bed was very hard and they do not offer mattress toppers. When the kind front desk clerk offered an extra blanket and comforter, the staff person only brought one blanket then looked at us as if we were off our rockers when we asked about the comforter. He said "OK" and then never came back. Fortunately the very nice desk clerk sent another blanket. Other than that, the room was clean and the front desk staff were super nice and helpful.

The front desk clerk neglected to inform us about the $150 per night incidental charges. It was a shock after we saw the charge getting to our room. There was an adult massager for sale with the mini bar that created an awkward situation with our young children! The room was very nice and the location to Petco Park is phenomenal.

I love this hotel. The staff is great. The location is absolutely perfect for any tradeshow. The gaslamp is a lot of fun and the rooms are super cool and comfortable. I always pay a little extra so that I have the patio and the living room section and for an extra 60 bucks, it’s completely worth it. You should go trust me. It’s worth a little bit more than the Hilton.

Location has it's pros and cons. $70 a night parking fee was a bit ridiculous. I feel like the room prices were decent, but they gouge you with parking so it's an expensive total stay. Location is right next to the stadium so arriving on a game day had major challenges. Street was shut down in front of hotel check in, so I had to drive around for hours to wait for street to open back up. The bathroom was way too dark. As a woman, I need a ton of light for prep.

Great hotel always love staying here for work of vacation.

So don’t expect an easy parking arrangements. That is my biggest complaint and I will not be returning due to the parking arrangement or lack of.

I arrived on a Friday night, tired, the band was very very loud from 10 pm when I went to bed until 2pm. Saturday night was quiet. Maybe ask for a room away from the 4th floor where I was. Staff was great. Conference facilities were great.

It was ok room service closed at 10 and didn’t offer a good menu. And I think for what you pay that you shouldn’t have to wait to check in til 4 and I never received my complainty drinks

The room was very clean. The bed was soft and comfortable. Breakfast was great. Ate at the Mary Jane’s restaurant. Fantastic service and delicious food.

Nice place and area. Unfortunately the sink and shower backed up on the first day. Although it was fixed promptly, we were told they were completely full and no other room to move to. Then all the wife wanted to do was go into the hot tub and that was out of order. It would be a tough sell for wife to go back.

Booked a suite and hotel was very convenient to downtown. Bed was very comfy but room had a strange sewer smell. Lingered the whole stay so probably wouldn’t hurry back here. Also breakfast at Maryjane’s was disappointing.

I did not get a breakfast menu nor did I get a text about ordering extra towels like the front guest service told me. But overall all was good

We stayed while going to the Padres game. It was a very convenient location. Bar closes at 10. We didn’t get a chance to eat breakfast or use the free drink voucher. Room was clean and had lots of drinks/food available to purchase . Bathrooms had glass doors for the toilet and shower which was a bit awkward for two friends sharing a room.

First is the king size bed that was not a king size bed second was the sink and the shower backed up and would not drain. Nothing is open for drinks until 4 PM staff was friendly, but the room was below par Maybe my expectations were too high.

The location can’t be. The hotels looking a bit worn. Most of the bars and restaurants weren’t open during a portion of my stay. The rooftop pool was OK, but the rest of the area looked very dated. My room was clean by the sink had significant water damage, and the wood was warped. It’s just looking at its age and needs a major overhaul.

The manager, Zoe, when out of her way to make our stay amazing. Excellent customer service across the board… and a great location too!

Front desk staff was nice. Walking to our room the hallway smelled like sewage we let the staff know and nothing was done about it. The bathroom sink didn’t drain properly by the time I was done brushing my teeth it was full. The toilet didn’t flush properly. One time it clogged and overflowed. We called and they said they would send someone up. An hour later we were still waiting wasting our vacation and called back and the guy said I’m on my lunch break I’ll be up when I’m done. Half our later he showed up to plunge the toilet. The website advertised this fun pool bar. We were at the pool and really wanted a margarita and we were waiting for the bar to open it was 1:00. I checked the website and it said open closes at 6. Needless to say the bar never opened. The only good thing about our stay was the location. Also $70 a night for parking.

Great location across from the convention center/Petco Field/Gaslamp, nice shower set up with a rain shower. The rooms are in desperate need of an update with the furniture scratched and falling apart, holes in the carpet, the carpet so stretched/warped I couldn’t roll my suitcase over it. The tv’s are basically useless with a couple channels and no ability to stream or connect - the panel you see is either not connected or broken or maybe if you had a hdmi something would work. Staffing is so limited they had very little open in stark contrast to the resort fee - the bar opens at 4. There was nothing available before then. There is a lovely pool and bar… but the bar was never open. I left at 5:45 am and there wasn’t even anyone at the front desk. There was a kiosk to drop your key. So odd for a hotel of this size. The Holiday Inn in the middle of no where has more staffing and amenities. For three of the four days of my stay the 6th floor button was gone in one of the two elevators… it was annoying to figure that out.

Air conditioner was not working properly. Got into the room and it was stuffy. The staff didn’t direct us to the rooms, so we were walking around until we asked. Staff wasn’t very helpful. The only staff that said a word was the parking attendants.

Pool area was small and a little run down. Rooms were good beds comfortable and the staff was great! My family had a great time even though the Jacuzzi was out of commission! Location was perfect valet parking was $70 per day, which is excessive for a guest to pay!!

While the hotel is super clean and the food was good, my only issue is the stay fee being returned. I stayed over 2 weeks ago and have been calling for a release of my funds but apparently there is an issue with MY money being returned to my accoun f in a timely manner. Over 2 weeks is outrageous.

My friend and I stayed on a Saturday night. Propery was clean. Staff were really nice. Overall great experience.

The room needed repairs (worn frames/edges, couch, and bathroom), cleanliness was subpar (I found a toenail on the leather couch, there was feces on the outside of the toilet, and the bathroom smelled terrible), and there were stains on the sink’s counter. I was sick and decided to spray and wipe everything down myself with disinfectant. This was my first and last Hard Rock Hotel I will stay at. $2,000 for 4 nights was uncalled for with the low level of cleanliness and quality of the room.

We stayed at the Woodstock suite and we loved the view. The room is well thought out in terms of the use of space. The shower was lovely and the bed was comfortable. I loved the wrap around balcony.

Great location for a Padres game and any other Gaslamp District adventures. Tons of great restaurant and bars located near the hotel, including a Trolley stop just across the street!

No type of food or drink service by the pool

We were in town for a concert with our teen daughter and her teenage friends. They loved the experience at the Hard Rock Hotel. The decor made them feel like it was a rock & roll weekend. The only small issue was the parking but we got it worked out. We would stay again.

The hotel was very nice. The only negative, is that the hotel is starting to show it's age.

Spring Break with my son was great! Very impressed how clean the entire Hotel and the pleasant scent at each entrance. Great location most staff was great except the older gentleman in valet parking wasn’t very nice.

The staff was exceptional and worked fast to help us feel comfortable. We look forward to returning to the Hard Rock for our 4th trip next year in San Diego.

Was all good other than being disappointed for not really feeling welcomed or get the perks as a VIP member of Orbitz. I showed them my VIP membership and asked for a complementary late checkout and got an extra hour. No mention of other complementary service or drinks, nothing. I had to comeback to ask and that was for drinks.. no mention on room upgrades.. in my previous experience with other hotels they were considerate enough to go through the details and telling us about each and every complementary services that you get as an Orbitz VIP member

Hotel in general was great, definitely had a Vegas vibe. I was worried it was going to come acroas cheap/cheesey, but not at all. Would definitely recommend.

Room needed some tidying up and the pool bar not being open was definitely a bummer having to run up n down the elevator for drink not to mention me calling a ahead for a late check inn to make she my upgrade was available only to be told my upgrade was not available staff was friendly bar tender was great vibes always great just the quality was not there for me but will give another try

Room was clean but the view, the view was amazing. I so appreciate the concierge accommodating my request to be moved up to the 10th floor. It was an absolute game changer.

I got a room upgrade so my room was super cool. The location is perfect. Everything here is expensive but once you get over the $70 parking youll have a great time

Room was clean, location was great for the night scene. Wish shower had more pressure but otherwise not a bad stay.

The windows in the rooms are too thin. We could everything outside until 3am.

Hotel overall was old and mickey moused in the suites. Shower is horrible, carpets and the amount of money spent for 2 nights is not worth it at all . Considering i do hotel reviews for a living i wouldnt ever consider or suggest this one . Only good part and nice people were the valet parking. (70 dollars for the day, when you are staying at the hotel if not you have to park around the corner.)

Housekeeping did an excellent job, and the lobby staff was friendly and very helpful throughout my stay. I also appreciated the visible security presence both during the day and at night—it made me feel safe and at ease. king suite was spacious for the two of us, great location in gaslamp, bed was super comfy, pool/sun was great on 4th floor, staff was great. ONLY thing was the restaraunt was not great and charging $7 for a water bottle is absurd. but yeah other than that amazing.

The room and the atmosphere and the employees were all good. The only thing I feel is the room that I was putting in the TV was kind of outdated and the AC took a while to get cold but other than that, everything else was pretty good

The staff was friendly and accomdating during my stay. The location is great, but the room left much to be desired. The night stands are not bolted to the wall and almost fell over many times. The outlets are mostly in the sitting space more near the bed would be better. The location and lighting around the vanity was not great. There seem to be a setup for alternative tv means, as there were few viewing options, however it did not work properly either. We carry a travel firestick it would've been great if the hdmi in living space actually worked for it. The fridge is completely full with all types of beverages for purchase you have make space to utilize it. No microwave. The room is definitely built for party not comfort.

Very bad, I slept one night there and woke up with many bug bites in my back. They claimed that it wasn’t their fault when I slept with windows closed. They didn’t even reimbursed or nothing, I have video proof and email too. Don’t stay here, it’s also overpriced as if it’s a luxury hotel but it’s more like a hotel from the earlys 2000s or late 1990s.

Got the Woodstock room with balcony , bed was not comfortable, but worst thing was The shower was not draining was not draining properly , told hotel this is at almost 10pm they offer to have engineer come and fix it like who wants to deal with this issue on there stay and at this time , wasn’t compensate for this issue like how disgusting if it’s not draining and we are getting stuff from the pipes , wouldn’t go back was the first and last time I will be there .

We ate breakfast at the restaurant Mary Jane's. The food was good, and the service was good. The front desk staff were nice and responsive. Housecleaning did a great job and changed their schedule when we were not ready for the room to be cleaned.

The room was a great deal!! It was really spacious. We loved that the toilet and the shower was on two seperate sides of the bathroom.. however the bed was like sleeping on a floor, the sliding doors took extreme manpower to open so paying extra for a balcony wasnt worth it and the toilet made the most weird and annoying sound for about 3 to 5 minutes after every flush. Little things... so not a huge deal.. would go back. Especially with the free bike rental perk, we used them for an entire day and it was the best time!!!

I love the Hardrovk and managers were nice as usual but a clogged toilet meant that we had to move to a Smaller room in the middle of the night so this stay wasn't convenient.

The hard Rock hotel San Diego was a fun stay rock and roll memorabilia which is great because I am a metalhead and then just an overall clean environment bartenders were skilled and the food options were pretty good. Huge shout out to the valet parking team and the bellhops. A tight working team

The room, did not have netflix, the windows were super dirty could not see ANYTHING clearly outside of the room, asked to have room cleaned everyday (3 night stay) and it was only cleaned once (only bed sheets changed and new towels towels added the trash was not even changed, AND the cherry on top, our hot water never worked!!! We called twice the same night to let maintenance know, the first time they told us to leave it on for 5 minutes and then check…. an insult honestly to suggest we had not tried that several times… and then the second time we got put on hold for like 10 minutes so we hung up, the second night we called and they told us they could send someone up, they did, the guy did NOTHING only “checked” the top of the shower and then magically hot water cane out, we asked if we had to do something differently and he said no, right after he left the water stayed for for 3 minutes (we timed it) and proceeded to not be able to shower, it was such a bad experience honestly because we stayed here because we wanted the comfort of proximity, to not go all the way home because we were attending a 2 day festival at Petco Park, which I guess we should have just gone home honestly to not have these type of problems, and then the fridge was full so we had to take out all of the mini bar items to store drinks we actually needed like gatorades and juice not just alcoholic beverages, such a disappointing stay its sad to see that we have such a low hospitality attitude in SD

Check into the room and there was no hot water! And received dirty towels. After hours of complaining to the staff we were finally upgraded. Worst experience ever!!

Staff was ok, I didn't feel welcomed unfortunately. When i got there i was ignored by the check in woman. She was too busy talking to her associate to even greet me, even though she saw me right away. I waited while they just talked, i wasn't helped until someone else got in line. So i was disappointed, the room was very nice with a great view. TV only had about 10 channels which was weird. Besides that, the beds were very comfortable. Even though the room was beautiful im not sure if I'd stay here again since i didn't feel welcomed to begin with. The diner there okay..My husband and daughter liked their meal. Mine was ok....i was disappointed because the food was room temp. I was expecting a hot breakfast.

Their were a few things that we had to call in for like the tv not working and we had to request for a fridge. I don't understand why I have to call for a fridge when all the hotels I have stayed at had a fridge in the room to put water or any medicine that I need to put away. You also don't have laundry services, we asked at the desk and they said no we had to go somewhere else to get our clothes washed.

Required an accumulated deposit for all the nights there, in advance of the stay. For example, if the deposit for each night was $100 and the stay was 5 nights, $500 was secured. This, on a prepayed hotel room. I had booked this room for an adult child (over 30 years old) as a gift and found this to be a very strange requirement.

Hotel is so dated. Stayed there 13 years ago and it was nice, haven’t done a thing with it since. Clear that there had been lamps in Rooms but not anymore. Basically the room was dark at night. Toilet paper holder falling off wall, toilet seat almost off. Lots of people wanted to use the hot tub at the pool but the jets didn’t work. Worth no more than $100 a night.

We did not experience breakfast but everything else about the hotel was fantastic. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. You can walk to all the restaurants and lounges.

Biggest thing I think is the valet parking is super steep. You shouldn’t have to park on an another block. Wasn’t a big deal just a lil something that would’ve made the stay that much better

Minibar was packed with alcohol beverages which was not appropriate in our case given we had a young child and would have preferred an empty fridge that would have better meet our needs. Although a fridge was provided, there was no space to accommodate so unfortunately we declined. Overall it was our view that the hotel was not accommodating. I found the bell persons and cleaners were awesome!!

I absolutely loved our stay at the Hard Rock Hotel! The staff was outstanding! Jasmine checked us in, and gave us a very comprehensive overview of all of the amenities and things to do. I let her know that we were celebrating my son‘s graduation, so we received extra special treatment! The entire staff was outstanding! The hotel grounds and our room were just as advertised and were indeed fantastic. And, the location could not be beat! The only opportunity for improvement would beI more live music, especially because that is the theme of the hotel. We were there six days through the weekend and never encountered that. Other than that, we really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend the hotel to others, as well as return!

I was charge a fee for guest that were stuck in the elevator which I reported. Those were not my guest they never step food inside my room nor did they use my key card to get inside the elevator. It was extremely unsafe, for people to get stuck in the elevator and when reported i ask the client get charged a fee for “damage” that I didn’t cause. Super unfair and fraudulent.

The room was great, however the staff were not too friendly. I get it, it was a busy Saturday with the Deftones concert at Petco and Halloween party inside of hard rock. At check in, I opted for valet service which was the only real customer service I received. The counter person appeared to be overwhelmed however I was the only person in line at the time. When we got back from the concert I tried to claim my free drink at the bar and when I gave him the voucher the bar tender made a face as if it bothered him I was redeeming it. Overall, as my first time going to the hard rock, which I was looking forward to, not sure I’ll be back again.

We had ants in our room an we requested an extra blanket that we never received. I’ve stayed her a couple times before and had a great experience. This time around was just ok.

Unfortunately the hotel was booked for a large Halloween Party, but the elevators were having issues when we arrived. One elevator was completely un-operable and the other would not allow you to stop on level 2, 3 or 4 and level 3 was our floor. Spending time looking for fire exits to use the stairs in such a nice hotel seemed ridicoulus.

Everything was a great experience but there was a halloween party on November 1st and the music was loud and had a hard time getting into the hotel due to security for the party

There was trash under the raised sofa and a few hairpins on the floor. Neither TV remote worked. The toilet is in an awkward place with no privacy. The beds were very uncomfortable. Other than that it was fine!

Accommodations were good, access to areas advirtised when we booked were unavailable. Example - ‘Twitchcom’ event at convention center barred us from using rooftop bar / float or pool. Would. It have booked my daughters birthday at this hotel had we known in advance we would be unable to access parts of reset (but were still charged ‘resort fee’).

Staff was great. My only two complaint is. The main lobby is over powering with some type of air freshener. And also our balcony door did not lock. It is very noisy at night but you are in down town where all the night life is. It’s a nice stay for sure.

The hotel is convenient to walk to the restaurants and bars in the Gaslamp district. It’s also close to Petco park and the convention center. It’s perfect for a couples getaway or to celebrate a special occasion. I would highly recommend this Hotel.

I booked Hard Rock as a an alternative bec my first choice was fully booked. I liked how the check in was fast and easy and they have a fitness center on the 3rd floor, albeit small. The room was okay. It was dingy although it looked “nice”. The AC worked great and I liked how you get the view overlooking the city. Everything was unsanitary in a sense that there are fingerprints on the closet handles, the fridge and the bathroom sink. The carpet was yucky but the place was “good enough” to stay for the night since nothing else was available close to the event I was attending. Parking is horrible. It’s valet only for $65/day and people were cologne so I decided to park next door at 6th & K Parkade. Walking around the area was scary. Lots of homeless all round the property. I couldn’t take it anymore that I checked out a day before and considered it a loss and drove back home. I won’t be back at this place.

The property itself is nice, but there are a lot of homeless people around. We were supposed to receive two complimentary drinks, but the hotel said they never heard of that through Expedia.

First of all the front desk staff upon checking in we’re not welcoming or inviting Brady was very stale. We went to the hotel for our honeymoon and it was a disaster. My husband was overcharged twice and the hotel says they don’t know how it was done we have had to escalate the situation to corporate. We were made some accommodations That were appreciated. However, overall the trip put a complete damper on our honeymoon due to the overcharging and unexplained charges way past what the deposit was supposed to be. Had to change rooms a few times when offered an upgraded room. The first upgrade was horrible. The second upgrade was very nice however there was no hot water and the toilet stopped.
