Friendly staff and good service. My only comment is I had asked for the cleaning team to come by while I was away and they didn’t come. The front desk had said the cleaning staff comes every other day. Which was a surprise considering that hotels do a room cleaning every day

If you stay here, do not arrive at night. The late night staffer that checked us in needs to be retrained on how to speak to guests. He is the sole reason we will never return.

The bathtub was taken long to drain out while taking a shower and you had to maneuver the drain to drain properly

Toilet ran constantly had to call the front desk to get it repaired. The sink would not drain sometimes and they had to come in and deal with that too. Had no Kleenex and only half a roll of toilet paper, so we needed to get one more roll of toilet paper and a box of Kleenex. My guess was when they were cleaning the room before we arrived they got interrupted, however the towels and sheets on the bed and the rest of the room was immaculate.

Renovation are deeply required, room was clean but had a deep ordor. Bathroom needed attention with plumbing fixtures broken, iron didn’t work, microwave door keeped jamming. Bed was comfy and breakfast was delicious. Motel vibes.

Tv doesn’t work well

Good as a basic lodging. Quiet and comfortable. They did not honor the promotions on Hotel.com when you book your room (such as the parking promotion) so don’t select those. They won’t honor it and won’t refund you.

Beautiful hotel and played Altitude Disc Golf too its very creative and technical course.

Had a little bit of confusion during check-in since I booked through a third-party Travel app, but the manager, I believe his name was Ahmed, took care of us and made sure that everything was necessarily corrected. Excellent customer service.

Breakfast was good, and the staff at the bar was super friendly. My room was nice and quiet, but there were things that annoyed me, like how the door lock was hard to trigger open. The ceiling light with motion detection kept flicking on and off. Lastly, the air in my room smells like vinegar or something that I had to run the A/C unit to the coolest in order to bring it down. I was not sure if it was from the humidity of that hot day or something else.

This is definitely a dated hotel. The lobby has been redone, but the hallways and atriums leading to rooms could be updated or jazzed up with plants or furniture. The rooms were nice and comfortable.

Front desk staff need to be trained in customer service and at least fake being caring and concerned. They need training in billing. I was billed twice and I paid through Expedia. They also need to learn how to set-up wake up calls or say your hotel provide that service. Lastly, if the hotel had a garage, it would be a different story, but they charge when we're all parking outside. I will never set foot in that hotel again.. total disappointment.

Worst service ever. Not helpful staff at all and interrupted our stay with waking my family up early on vacation because of the intolerable noise in the the fitness area on 2nd for. What kind of hotel puts a fitness room on the second floor when customers are asleep under the fitness center and slamming the lights all over at 6am in the morning. Booked a deluxe room and really didn’t know the difference between a regular king room and deluxe room because there are no photos on Expedia or any websites. The building is outdated, it looks like a twilight zone. You can tell insulation needs work as you can hear any noises outside or next door or the hallway. Price per night is decent but I can understand why. Property needs work.

Room was dated which is fine,but it wasn't clean. There was a blue chair in the corner that had years of stains on it and dust between the cushions. I always check rooms for bed bugs and when I do thats when you can really see how clean things are. There was hair from previous guests under the mattress and stains on the bed skirt. No bed bugs which is great. The bathroom had someones red sock fuzz and hair on the ground still. Shower pressure was insane. You might lose an eye with how powerful it is. Staff was fine. Paying for parking was not cool because there is no where else to park and there is PLENTY of parking.

Somethings were in disrepair. Fixtures hanging out, wall with holes showing. There were also too few outlets for charging devices, and the existing ones were loose, so plugs kept falling out. Older construction with wear and tear, surprised it was kept up as well as it was. That with the location, I'm sure this property serves a purpose, just not mine in the future.

The staff is always very outgoing and courteous. The room was as clean as routine cleaning can accomplish. I believe that the carpeting could use a deep cleaning. Dirt from the carpet was dragged in by shoes to the bathroom and produced dirt spots all over the tile floor.

I loved the amenities, I thought it easily could be a 4-5 star hotel based off of the size and amenities. I think there could updated tile or cleaner carpet. I felt it was so big and I never saw staff. Just seems like such a small place with so many opportunities for growth

I had the do not disturb on the door at the time also. And I wouldn’t normally even mention it but since I’m listing the other stuff- 3 pots of coffee and 2 creamers? That’s just mean.

There’s a bed to sleep in. Smelled like cigarettes. The staff knows zero English (but we’re still nice). Rooms are very outdated. Not Very clean; the little chair the provide in the room was covered in hair. Shower head is way outdated and rusted.

Friendly and helpful at the desk. Building looks aged on the inside hallways, bathroom could use upgrade and have basic amenities like shower cap and ete make up remover pads, etc.

It rained in the roof was leaking and they had buckets everywhere. This is not the first time I was there for New Year’s Eve party this year and last year and it rained both years and they hadn’t fixed the roof and it leaks everywhere. Plus I checked out a day earlier and I couldn’t get my refund for the extra day. I left early.

The hotel appeared to not be full but we were given a room overlooking a disc golf tournament complete w/music the next night. Not very conducive to a good nights sleep.

At 7am, a leaf-blower started working, waking me up. There was a strange noise of non-identified origin, something hitting the roof or a pipe on the third floor all night and morning.

Main reason we booked this hotel was for the hot tub and it was not working. The ac in the room would not stay on.

I will absolutely stay here again! The staff was excellent from check in to check out!!! The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable!!! Short Lyft ride to Mission Valley and the Airport. 5 stars for sure!

Clean room, though they gave us a double instead of the king we booked. Bed and pillows were super plush (not firm enough for us), but everything was clean and thermostat worked well to keep us cool. Netflix on tv was a plus, though we requested a quiet room and were woken up by a huge party of frisbee golfers congregating for some event directly under our window. Wish we had warning or they had put the golfers farther away from guest rooms. Only one night and the rest of the evening was quiet enough for sleep.

I had a problem with bugs on the end room in C block on the first floor. XL cockroach in bathroom, flea in the bed, spiders on the ceiling. When i called to complain they sais that room gets a little buggy sometimes. Then why put me in it? The hotel was not full. They came and got the cockroach and gave me a different room, but they didn't offer to move my belongings. I had to move my stuff at almost midnight by myself. They did comp my parking at checkout. The second room was better but still had spiders. The pool wa nice, quiet and clean.

It was tricky because a large motorcycle club was staying there and played music extremely loud in the drive up area right above our room.

Massive property that seemed totally empty. We stayed two nights and no one ever came to clean the room and bring fresh towels.

We booked one of the bigger event rooms, but we had to dust/clean the provided black chairs and the room was hot/stuffy and had a strong odor. Breakfast was adequate and the room was clean and comfortable, but the body wash was totally empty, so we had to call to get them replenished. Hoping that the service will improve in the future with the new ownership. Thanks!

Seriously, perfect! Huge, beautiful property. If you have any issues, they are taking care of so quickly! No fault of their own. Would return here for next vacation! Highly recommend! PS the food is great!

I really appreciated the warm welcome I was greeted with after a frustrating and anxious drive from LA to SD. All the staff were friendly and great about greeting us as guests. The room was very comfortable, and the couple of bottles of cold water waiting at the room was also a life saver. The air conditioner worked very well and operated efficiently. The only thing that seemed lacking was the overly dry landscaping that looked like it was suffering from a drought and water shortage.

Very odd and uncomfortable layout for the hotel itself, with old, dated and poorly maintained areas everywhere. Room smelled "off" and we had very loud neighbors multiple nights, including 2am, 3am, etc. loud parties. Would never recommend to anyone.

Here to move our kiddo into school and thought this would be a good mid range hotel choice. The room was fine. Spacious enough and clean. Bed was fairly comfortable. The lack of transparency and communication is terrible though. At check in we received no information about check out time, breakfast, or amenities of the property. Located checkout info on back of hotel door though. We were also not notified of a huge MMA fight happening outdoor on the property that evening. This meant that much of the hotel’s parking was being used for the event parking for a fee. We could hear the announcements and music from the fight in our room above the TV and white noise machine until about 11 pm. After this time it was all drunk MMA fans shouting in the hallway and hanging around outside waiting for traffic to clear. The front desk offered to move us to a higher floor (umm… all rooms are attached to outside 🙄). Two calls to the front desk regarding MMA bros reliving every moment in the hall, “dude.. dude.. and then like he f’in kicked him in the face. It was sic bro, no cap).. No info on their website, no info at check in about the event. We only knew because we saw the paid event parking and then a sign on the street corner. 100% would not stay here again unless I was attending whatever event was being hosted here. There are tons of other options in the area.

Overall a nice and safe stay. To nitpick the a/c worked well but it was very loud. Also, the low flow toilets are annoying. Even urinating you need 3-4 flushes.

Outdated, but nice. The swimming pool needs resurfaced, very rusty and dingy sides. Hot tub, only half the jets worked. I dont understand the layout. Can some one explain why so much wasted space in the atriums?

The hotel is just as lovely when you arrive as the pictures show online. Every single member of the staff was friendly and helpful. The food especially the short ribs was SPECTACULAR!!! We would highly recommend. The pool was large enough to be enjoyed by many guests and using the fitness center was a pleasant experience. We opted for the full breakfast and it was worth it. We were graciously greeted by the breakfast staff every morning and were happy to find lots of food options from hot meals, cereal waffles. The coffee cake was AMAZING and so worth it. We actually wanted tp find the original vendor so we can order the coffee cake on our own. Overall we had a pleasant stay with delicious food and kind people.

The bathroom was dirty. Drains were clogged. Dental floss picks on window sill in room. On the carpet was a wet spill with unpleasant odor (Vomit?). We left a message at the front desk and were told a manager would call us. So far, no call.

Upscale hotel without the upscale price. Reminded me of the Embassy Suites in La Jolla but better in every way for half the price. It is ridiculously close to convoy where all the good food is, but hidden on an empty side street so it's quiet and away from the traffic. Freeway is just a right turn away but, again, the hotel is isolated so no freeway noise. Perfect location. Plenty of parking, rooms are clean, staff is nice, and TV has Netflix. I will always stay here when I'm in San Diego.

This was a pleasant experience from check in to check out

I left a dress hanging in the closet of room 3088. I have called housekeeping/lost and found twice but have not received a promised callback. I fear someone in housekeeping may have stolen my dress.

The cleanness was okay housekeeping EVERY other day! The room has a quiet smell but overall it was great!

Four Seasons is a great family hotel. They have a breakfast buffet for purchase. However, facilities may need an upgrade but it is clean.

Great service from desk staff; sooo friendly and helpful. Breakfast was yummy and beds very comfortable.

Hotel looks old and is poorly decorated. The plain interior looks more like a college dorm than a hotel. The breakfast buffet has relatively few selections and is too expensive for what is offered. The neighborhood is unattractive. Still, the location is convenient to many locations in the city.

This place is big and has okay amenities. We stay here because it’s down the street from family. Not too many places around it but it is our home away from home.

Staying again!

They overcharge for families seeing off loved ones as they are about to ship out for military service. $400 a night is egregious for what you are getting.

overall good, except not sure why cleaning lady skipped cleaning my room.

Room 1092 is very musty and moist, the AC is old and filters are stuck hanging out. We asked for a new room and were moved to 3086 and this room was fresh smelling and updated.

I am pregnant and was allowed to check in early after an exhausting 4hour drive to sleep. Respectful and quick service. 10/10

Checked in and had to cjeck out 15 minutes later. About 200 people on motorcycle blocking the lobby entrance and drinking in parking lot. Ruined our trip by allowing this to happen on the property.

Very easy to park near the door with having three wings. Staff at the front desk were very helpful going above and beyond helping me print out documents during my stay. Beautiful room overlooking the golf course and airport. Lovely grounds, like in its own world away from the busyness around it!

Front desk person not helpful with problems and does not answer the phone! Or picks up the phone and puts it on hold without saying a word! Big attitude!!!

Still waiting for credit for the second day as we left after the first night. they had promised an emailed receipt which i have yet to receive. The room smelled really bad. The on-site restaurant is closed as well.

The hotel has probably see better days. Our room was nice, it is clean, but rundown. There are small signs that showed. As you walk onto hotel section B, there were people in the community area drinking and were a bit loud.The hotel and the room smelled of mildew. The decorative pictures on the wall were coming out of there fames. The shower curtain had stains on them. Somehow the drain latch in the tub was stuck and the tub was filling up. My husband had to try to push down the drain latch to open it. After multiple times wiggling and pushing it went down and we did not have a flood. I am guess the people before us set the alarm click to go off around the 2 am hour, which in return woke us up. We stayed there because it was close to a family memebers home and it was a quick overnight trip. We will probably look elsewhere next time.

Staff was very friendly.

The property was outdated and had a strange smell however it wasn’t bothersome. The room was clean and had what was needed as we only stayed one night. Construction was going on across the street on a weekend but the noise wasn’t heard from inside the room. An event was going on that night and no parking was available however staff waived the parking fee and was extremely helpful in resolving this issue and finding us a parking spot.The staff was friendly and helpful. Close to freeway and short drive to beach and restaurants.

Large and bright. Sports bar downstairs. Checkin was easy. Parking price is steep, but what can you do?

It was convenient for work meetings. Even though it was an older style building, it was well maintained and the staff were very helpful.

One night stay; check-in was easy and desk agent was very nice and helpful; property is definitely older, but not dirty; room was comfortable; we did have a fire alarm evacuation but when we got downstairs were told it was a false alarm. overall a good stay; area felt safe as well

Quiet, kind and friendly staff. Very clean and comfortable.

When you first walk in, it feels like a fancy hotel until you walk to your room. The rooms are disbursed in a confusing way and there is a balcony infront of every room except the first floor. That seems dangerous to me and it’s a little creepy. The rooms are great and the bathroom feels modern.

Noisy and loud and not clean

The hotel is not quiet. The layout is very confusing and the open concept amplifies the noises. Our room had pipes in the wall that clanked all night. I probably wouldn’t stay at this property again just due to the age and how I am a light sleeper.

Friendly staff and clean room!

Our room was spacious,offered complimentary coffee pot, & microwave & mini fridge. The bed was comfy and the room was cleaned well. The staff was neither friendly or rude, just indifferent. We were not asked about our stay nor did we know that breakfast was available, as we would have loved to grab a snack before heading to the hospital. Not a fan of how they set up their parking and payment for said parking.

I always like staying at four Four Points Sheraton It’s always clean and great service. However, the cleaning staff early in the morning were very loud by our door, nonstop, chattering and banging in the next room where they were cleaning other than that everything else was great.

Could offer a better options for breakfast and not make it so exclusive to military.

The stay overall was good. It is a dated hotel but the rooms are nice. When we first arrived we were placed in a room with a horribly strong mildew/mold smell. The wooden floors in the entry way had a large black spot/rot and visibly you can tell it was water damage. The smell was very strong and my son got a headache. The front desk staff were awesome and moved us right away into a room that was much better. The floors were not damaged and there was no smell. The new room was very clean.

Quite, clean, friendly staff. I can't believe they charge to park now. Huge lot that was half emoty. These add on charges are nonsense.

Was in great shape for what seemed like an older hotel. My room had a ceiling issue at one time and the popcorn "repair" was quite evident.

Accommodating

How does this property maintain the Sheraton flag? It’s like an abandoned 90s mall. Horrible. Dirty. Old damaged furniture. Smells musty. Out of date.

Large hotel and convention center. Convenient for our family. No complimentary breakfast which I find unusual in today’s market, most hotels offer some kind of complimentary breakfast. I find it insanely ridiculous that they charge to park my car. Really what are people supposed to do with their cars. Total junk fee, a ripoff!

You don't have a place asking "What didn't you like?", so I would like to mention two.things.1. Having to pay for parking. I believe that when you rent a room, free parking is a given. There should be no additional charges. 2. Breakfast. I was very surprised when I been to eat breakfast it was not included with the room. Places that I have stayed at the past few years have always had a free Continental Breakfast available for their guests.

Clean hotel. Hospitality was poor. Not the friendliest staff. During check in, there were 3 employees at front desk. Had me wait so they can finish their conversation together. While checking in, the man barely said anything to me, other than he needed my ID and card. No greeting/nothing. In the morning, tried to ask about breakfast. My reservation included 2 breakfast. Only gave me voucher for 1. Worst service, but hotel is clean.

However, the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was really quiet and clean for the most part.

Really nice place we were just in town for the night we went to a concert great choice

We were in town for an event at the Snapdragon stadium and this hotel was a great option in terms of distance to the venue (8 min drive), and value for the price. It is close to an executive airport, so I was nervous about the noise but it’s just small private planes and noise really wasn’t an issue at all. The area is pretty quiet. Overall, considering how big the place is, it didn’t feel crowded or noisy at all. Clean and comfortable. The beds were nice and rooms (2 queen beds) pretty spacious. It was great to have microwave in the room too. Would definitely stay again!

I was very disappointed to find that the sink was cracked, the dresser had a drawer that kept coming out if there were clothes in it & they charged $15 per day for parking.
