Reviews

- Convenient airport shuttle service
- Outdated facilities and furnishings
- Inconsistent service quality and maintenance issues

Great stay!!! Recommend. So kind and our room was incredible!
- 4/5
The curtains had issues with getting stuck. The door cracked and stuck with caked paint.
- 5/5
Plumbing im shower not working properly water goes down drain to slow it starts filling tu.
- 4/5
Location on marina was excellent- parking for $25 a day was a bit steep considering room price. Our room was perfect- except the bathroom needed maintenance. The toilet was extremely low to the ground which made it inconvenient. Staff was amazing.
- 1/5
I booked this property through Expedia based on the good reviews. However, the room I was in was definitely not as excepted. It was in the oldest, low rise wing of the building, while the reviews may have been from a newer section. Our room was old and tired and the air conditioning would not keep the temperature below 74 degrees and there were several flying bugs in the room. As well, when we arrived we discovered that the restaurant was closed for renovations. As I was only there for a short overnight before a morning flight and I didn’t realize the air issue prior to getting in bed, I was unable to request a room change. Overall, a very disappointing experience and I would not stay there in the future. Of course because I booked through Expedia they would not offer any compensation.
- 5/5
We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was convenient, with several restaurants nearby and a grocery store just a short distance away. This was our first time staying in this part of San Diego, and it may become a regular stop in our hotel rotation. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. One of our favorite features was the balcony overlooking the pool—it made the transition back home after our Hawaii vacation a little less sad. Overall, a great stay, and we would definitely consider staying here again.
- 3/5
Grungy elevator in building #4. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Bacon so thin sliced as to be almost transparent, coffee not hot, and microwaved scrambled egg product from a bag.
- 5/5
It was a great experience staying at this hotel!
- 5/5
The rooms could use updating- but we really enjoyed our stay despite!
- 3/5
The room smelled weirdly (cleaners?mold?) so we opened the windows to the very noisy street. If the room hadn’t smelled bad our experience would have been much better.
- 1.5/5
Free cookies at check in, distance to SeaWorld Felt like a motel/inn
- 5/5
We got to the hotel almost 4 hours early and asked if we could have an early check-in — Jay was super helpful and accommodated us within 5 minutes (I know that's not always the case, but he let us know it may not be possible since they were sold out the previous night and was very nice about it). Our entire stay was perfect. The property is very well maintained, the staff was helpful and friendly, and the pool area is really cute with a ton of lounge areas, and we basically had it to ourselves anytime we went out there, which wasn't too often, but it was nice and quiet. We spent our first few nights in San Diego at the Marriott Marquis Marina, which was gorgeous and in a prime location, but honestly I enjoyed our stay here more due to the quiet atmosphere and staff. 10/10 would stay here again and we're already talking about coming back with our kids. Thanks Jay and everyone else that helped us — I'm sorry I didn't catch everyone's name but you were all fantastic and you made our last 3 nights in San Diego wonderful!

On a failli manquer notre vol
- 4/5
Comfortable clean room. Great to have shuttle for airport and cruise port (complementary!).
- 4/5
On the downside, there was an unpleasant smell coming from the water in the bathroom sink. It was noticeable and took away from the overall comfort. Overall, it’s a solid option thanks to the service and location. In the future I will be back!
- 4/5
Please note that the suites do not have elevators, so you’ll need to walk upstairs with your luggage. It took a few trips, but it wasn’t a big deal.
- 5/5
Convinent accommodations, helpful when i needed to rearrange my check out.
- 5/5
Everything it was very clean and comfortable Only thing I have to say that is negative is that the fridge didn’t work well
- 4/5
good

Worst hotel we’ve ever stayed at. Our toddler twins feet were black after being in the hotel room for less than an hour. We found a 1-inch screw on the floor that they could have put in their mouth. It had fallen off the curtains (we think). In the suite, when you open the bedroom door it hits the wall and locks so our toddler ended up locking himself in that room. I called the front desk in a panic who brought a hotel key card to enter the suite rather than something for the locked door. Thankfully we got it open ourselves by using a random card but if we hadn’t we would have had to call the fire department. The staff was extremely clueless on the door situation. They said there is NO KEY TO OPEN IT! How many more toddlers could get locked in there? This hotel is a huge liability. They need to get it together. Very disappointed.
- 5/5
Love how quiet it was.. clean and comfortable.
- 3/5
Clean Staff very responsive Close to restaurants and grocery Pool maintained Cons No ethernet as stated, only wifi. Needs screen on sliding door Toilet loose and makes noise of tank lid moving around Sparatic loud high pitched noise (I believe from pipes when other people using water) No microwave. Air vent very dirty, needs cleaning for cleaner air circulation.
- 5/5
The location was amazing and had a beautiful scenery. The room was so spacious and beautiful. I need to know the brand of the mattress and pillows because they had me out like a baby.
- 5/5
Great restaurants
- 4.5/5
Location, quiet and clean. I parked by my room and easily transferred baggage Breakfast vouchers for a very nice meal Our room door stuck, loud noise when opened.
- 4/5
Clean room, staff was friendly
- 5/5
Location The parking pass wouldn’t work, even though they told us a way around it.
- 4/5
Room smelled a bit musty and not in top condition but the area was nice, airport and cruise ship shuttles were excellent.
- 4/5
Staff was great. Place was a little outdated. Water pressure was terrible.
- 0.5/5
Broken AC
- 5/5
Centrally located. Friendly staff.
- 5/5
Clean room. Excellent staff.
- 4/5
Loved the shuttle to the cruise terminal! And as always, Doubletree has excellent beds and cookies.
- 5/5
The room was clean. The property was clean. Check in and check out process was quick and easy
- 3/5
Good
- 2.5/5
Location was pretty nice. Close to the airport and surrounding stores. Cleanliness was subpar. You can tell it’s an older hotel for sure. AC did not keep room cool and walls are pretty thin.
- 5/5
The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The bed was especially cozy, which made it easy to relax after a long day. I also appreciated the little details like fresh towels, good lighting, and a quiet atmosphere. The staff were friendly and professional, always willing to help with any questions or requests. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
- 2/5
Smelled terrible! There was an air filter above the sink that hadn’t been changed in over a year. The water smelled like throw up! The only thing I’d go back for was the cookies.
- 4/5
Clean and updated
- 3.5/5
Proximity to the harbor and Liberty Station area. Easy parking. Comfortable beds and great pillows. Refrigerator in the room. Warm cookies. Pool Area looked nice. Mix of different buildings- an odd layout for a hotel. Some Elevators in building 4 were broken which was inconvenient. Carpets in elevators were dirty and clearly not vacuumed over the course of the stay. Food dishes left in the hallways.
- 4/5
No bathtub in bathroom.

- 5/5
Excellent
- 3/5
Outdated, too expensive, good location
- 3/5
It just wasn’t what we expected with different buildings no parking. Called for blankets and water three times never brought it.
- 4/5
Location is good, across from the Fisherman’s Harbor where you can take a nice walk. There are a number of good restaurants along the harbor walk. It’s in a location near the water away from the busy downtown.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, super friendly staff!
- 4/5
Great location near eateries and airport. Airport shuttle drivers were terrific giving us information about the area and scheduling.
- 3/5
There was an order that came from the sink that got increasingly worse. Also our bathroom didn't look like the one on the website.
- 5/5
The suite was great! Everything we needed was in it, and it was so spacious. One of the elevators in building 4 was out of order, so we had to walk pretty far from our room to get there, but it was fine.
- 4/5
Clean room, comfy bed, free airport, shuttle, and lots of amenities
- 4/5
The gym was mid. Water was hard to get. Room was okay.
- 5/5
Clean room and friendly staff
- 1/5
Very noisy next to highway
- 5/5
Staff was great and the warm cookies upon check in are always a nice touch. Pool and hot tub were great for a little family downtime.
- 3/5
Horrible.
- 5/5
Nice was very close to airport and had a shuttle
- 5/5
Great room, awesome service, we lost a ring and they were able to find it.
- 5/5
Clean room! Great comfortable bed and perfect linens. Front desk people very nice
- 5/5
Yes
- 4/5
Dirty bathroom floor, broken elevator (still - it was broken during our stay 6 months ago), trash on ground, staff overwhelmed the only working elevator, without apology, so we had to take stairs 99% of our time to avoid long waits with or without luggage.
- 5/5
Our room was clean and perfect. We loved our stay and our cookies!
- 5/5
All staff very nice !!
- 5/5
Really nice place. Beautiful landscaping, easy walk to the harbor, where a variety of good restaurants are. Comfortable bed.
- 4/5
shuttle was available and easy to use--great ppol and everything was clean
- 5/5
The restaurant was very good. The property was beautiful and well maintained
- 3/5
The area, property were great but to get into our door my 6’3 250lb man had to push it open with his shoulders, the bathroom sink smelled horrible when it’s running & brushing my teeth was worrisome when you smell it & you’re using that water in our mouth, got the balcony top floor thinking I’d have Marina views like the picture, it was the parking lot & street & the AC made a loud stretch every time… the location did save the lower rating because it’s quiet and beautiful, just needs a few fixings
- 4/5
A little noisy but convienient to the airport. Nice staff
- 4/5
The ned was comfortable and the nachos were delicious!
- 5/5
Staff are professional, courteous and very helpful
- 5/5
We didn't use the GYM at hotel. The hotel is good, but the rooms by the street are impacted by the traffic noise.
- 5/5
Right when I walked in to check in the staff were super friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
The location is perfect. The service was great. The rims were clean. I love the hot tub.
- 5/5
Clean beautifull excellent service
- 4/5
I was put in a room several buildings away. When I arrived it was the oldest bldg and no elevator. Im an elderly woman with a large suitcase. No one told me about the situation. No one to help me. Instead I just kept being offered cookies, which had nuts.
- 5/5
Good bed
- 5/5
The room was very comfortable and the grounds were beautiful. I never like paying for parking but you’ve no choice. The spa and pool were super, we swam in the rain. Perfectly heated.
- 2/5
The room wasnt the cleanest. When I was a single woman that they put on the first floor.
- 5/5
Amazing service, clean and plenty to do
- 5/5
Aside from the strong and (to me) off-putting aroma in the lobby, which was perhaps a combination of pumped-in fragrance and baked cookies, we enjoyed our brief stay. Our room was clean and quiet with a great view of the marina on the third floor of the main building. The HVAC system was the quietest I've ever experienced in a hotel!
- 3/5
Here is a honest review nobody asked for. For $214 a night on a Sunday I was expecting the room and building to be renovated and pleasant like the pictures implied. I stayed in building 5 in which I had to drive to a specific parking lot to be next to that building that seemed like it was once an office building that got converted into a hotel. You can tell the building has been there for years but it was modernly decorated and had a very pleasant clean smell. I stayed on the top floor and had a balcony the size of 1 chair super tiny. Great view of the bayside houses no ocean view(like it showed in the picture). You can hear everything going on in the hall way and random noises from the pipes of the building. Room was very clean and perfect space for max 2 people. Water pressure for the shower was very weak but the complimentary soaps smelled really good. Layout of the room seemed odd but it was fine for only staying. 1 night. I would have to say the best thing about this hotel is the chocolate chip cookie they give you at check in best cookie I ever had in my like. Also staff was very nice.
- 3/5
Overpriced for what it is.
- 4.5/5
Very comfortable
- 2/5
The main lobby and possibly the rooms in the main building were sooo much nicer and up to date design. Also there was a huge gap at the bottom of the door OR the sealing was ripped off and never replaced so you heard EVERYTHING outside and the amount of light it let it made it so the room was never fully dark. So if you’re a sensitive sleeper this is not a place you will be happy with.
- 2/5
Room was clean but it was incredibly loud and there was no sleep possible. The tile floor was not forgiving to sound and i could hear everyone that walked by.
- 4/5
Very clean, showing its age
- 1/5
Probably the dirtiest Hilton I’ve been to, leaky ceiling, broken elevator, unclean toilet.
- 5/5
Nice, clean hotel. Airport and cruise port shuttle a huge plus!
- 3/5
Room not up to Hilton standards from my perspective.
- 5/5
Great location and the staff are so friendly and nice! The rooms are clean, very nice and spacious. And you get warm chocolate chip cookies!😊
- 4/5
Clean, convenient to airport. Bldg 3 was quiet. Staff was helpful. Airport shuttle in demand. Would astray here again.
- 5/5
Clean room, very convenient to the San Diego
- 3/5
I liked the location and free cookies. Did not like the toilet that makes a noise when you sit on it, didn’t like the lack of certain amenities (conditioner, towels, ice being far).
- 3/5
The room was pretty basic, but clean. I found the property very loud because it is located next to two busy streets. There was a lot of noise between rooms as well. I tried the restaurant for dinner, but the calamari was awful and I sent it back.
- 5/5
Cookies
- 5/5
Staff were great. Room in the front building was great.
- 5/5
staff,hottub, cleanlinee
- 3/5
Airport shuttle was not available. Shuttle times are bot clearly represented on the listing. Stuck at the airport while i had to arrange other transportation was very frustrating.
- 5/5
The agent at the desk was amazing moved me closer i was exhausted after 20 hours of flying I could barely walk to my room. Very friendly and helpful very kind.
- 4/5
I was upset that the house keeper knocked on our door at 8 in the morning and woke us up and checkout wasn’t until 12 morning was just off the of my stay
- 5/5
The free breakfast was in the form of a voucher to be redeemed after dining in the hotel restaurant. The food was serviceable. We had several different breakfasts and the best was pancakes and the monte cristo sandwich with peach Melba sauce.
- 5/5
Room was decent, but the best part of my short stay was the front desk staff. They went above and beyond to address my questions and assist me with some last minute needs due to a cancelled flight. I would definitely recommend this hotel based on the customer service alone.
- 5/5
Great staff
- 5/5
We had a great day. The staff was extremely friendly and very attentive.
- 5/5
Comfy bed
- 5/5
it was great service and warm cookies when i arrived what a nice surprise
- 5/5
Good staff
- 4/5
The room was spacious and clean. The check in was easy and friendly service.
- 4/5
The room was quiet and clean, airport shuttle was nice, the reason we chose this motel.
- 4/5
The people at the front desk was not the friendliest when we checked in, but everything else was OK
- 5/5
Customer Service
- 1/5
Bad customer service when the front desk assistant me. Don’t recommend here.
- 5/5
Staff have been very friendly. Comfortable beds.
- 5/5
Place was clean, pool was great, gardens are pretty. We didnt have breakfast.
- 5/5
staff at check-in very friendly and easy going offered warm cookies
- 5/5
Nice place and convenient to the port. Entrance of the parking lots for buildings 4 and 5 is a little bit tricky to find.
- 1/5
Photos should a different building. Where our room was actually located. Had to walk around property to even get to the lobby
- 3/5
The staff is the best thing about this place. The shuttle from the airport was quick and the driver was friendly. It was raining when we got thereand
- 5/5
Room was very clean staff was very courteous and helpful
- 5/5
Clean room and quiet
- 4/5
food by the pool was good and bartender was friendly and fast
- 1/5
Nobody told us we got breakfast, they really need to work on customer service here. We actually had to help an older couple get in and out of the shuttle and to there room with a cart. Absolutely no attempt by staff do do anymore than they had to do. This place is definitely low standard, I would not recommend to anyone. Not a Double tree in my book.
- 5/5
This was for mom mother’s birthday present and she enjoyed her stay.
- 5/5
Nice room. Free shuttle to an
- 2/5
Did not know loaction was under a remodel before getting to site. Used my digital key to go in the side door and up to 2nd floor. The hallways are gutted, no carpet, doors and tools all over. Walked down to 1st floor and drove around to front. Had to walk down the 1st floor hallway to another stairwell to go upstairs to get to room. Once inside the room qas nice. Had to go find my car outside and move it to other side of building. There were no lights in the parking lot areas. Would not have stayed here if pulled up and was booking at the front desk, would have kept drivng.
- 5/5
Staff very accomodating.
- 5/5
Clean room and lobby, friendly staff, great menu in on-site cafe, convenient shuttles.
- 5/5
Clean room and great location. I would stay here again. My only complaint is there was no coffee or hand towels in the room, probably an oversight.
- 3/5
The room was very nice and staff very helpful and nice. There seemed to be lits of car outside
- 4/5
The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom setup was a bit weird and the bathroom fan was really loud. But it was clean and the water temp and pressure were great.
- 1/5
they have a Party all Night. We called the front desk 5 times. They party until 3;30 am, not right, no apology, nothing
- 3/5
My room location was not to my liking but nice hotel.
- 5/5
Yes, we were offered an upgrade and the host was extremely nice and professional. Thank you.
- 5/5
It was a good stay, but the room I checked into smelt like dog.
- 5/5
The hotel was clean and quiet, we loved the hot tub and the breakfast was great. We appreciated the airport shuttle very much.
- 4/5
Staff was not the nicest
- 5/5
We slept so well on your wonderful mattress!
- 4/5
Clean rooms and comfy beds
- 5/5
The Accommodation were nice and the location is good. But the number one thing was the friendliness of the staff.
- 5/5
Grounds were clean and nice. The outside patio that looked out to the mini golf/pool was nice to enjoy your cup of coffee. Nice background music. Was centrally located to Shelter Island Park, Miguel's Cocina, Better Buzz and the San Diego Zoo.
- 5/5
the staff was amazing, specifically the front desk guy with dark hair and glasses, looked like a manager, helped us out a lot and made the experience enjoyable at this hotel resort. really recommend this location.
- 5/5
Great friendly staff, very nice and clean rooms.
- 5/5
We always enjoy staying here, their renovations are lovely and it’s well kept up with. The food at the café was also amazing!
- 5/5
Great clean room and great staff they helpful b on time wiuld stay again
- 1/5
I was not happy by my experience with this hotel.I did not receive what I paid for I was actually in a room where it was old meldy and also had a lot of smell of urine.I would like for something to be done for me.Due to the fact that I am completely unsatisfied with the service
- 4/5
Service desk good and van service excellent
- 5/5
Very friendly staff and very clean.
- 5/5
The room was clean. The shuttle was convenient to get to the pier.
- 5/5
Friendly staff Clean and quiet. Many restaurants choices you can walk to.
- 5/5
Pleasant staff
- 4/5
The airport shuttle started at 4:30 am which was earlier than surrounding hotels which we needed for our early flight. We were not offered the advertised fresh cookies which wasn't a big deal, but would have been nice to be asked. The room was in a separate, older part of the hotel, but had been updated and was clean.
- 5/5
The shuttle was perfect
- 3/5
This room was older, had an odd smell, outdoor entrance, charged for parking. They call this a bayside hotel but you can’t see the water at all from this property. Not at all worth the cost.
- 5/5
Staff Friendliness
- 5/5
Excellent service, location and we were very well received at reception.
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff
- 5/5
Wonderful time, hotel was right on the bay with great resturants!
- 5/5
The staff were excellent.
- 5/5
Pool and garden area lovely
- 4/5
Nice shuttle service. Great staff. Room smelled old.
- 5/5
Nice room, neighbors smoking on patio so couldn’t open door to garden, no menu for restaurants available in room or online, easy professional check in
- 5/5
Awesome experience
- 5/5
My favorite hotel to stay with our family
- 5/5
Great stay no complaints. Very clean and organized.
- 5/5
Great location, clean, very nice rooms and lobby. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would highly recommend this hotel!
- 1/5
We paid for balcony with a view. We got a floor level patio and the view of a putting green. Save your money it’s Hilton motel
- 2/5
The staff was helpful when ever asked. The parking was terrible and there was construction around the area making it noisy
- 5/5
Staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating.
- 1/5
The building is too old and yh
- 3/5
The patio has no screen so bugs come in if left open to try to get fresh air. Some of the towels had stains and one towel had blood stains on it. Very nasty. Great location but i would not stay here again. The lobby looks nice, the gym and pool area are very nice but the rooms need work. The parking lot is small and hard to maneuver through. I would not recommend.
- 4/5
Great location
- 4/5
toilets are pretty small. overall very clean room and comfy bed
- 4/5
clean, updated, restaurant on facility, loved the first floor rooms that open to grassy/pool area
- 5/5
Everyone on property is super helpful and respectful. They also keep you well comfortable and makes you feel right at home.
- 4/5
Beds are super comfortable.
- 4/5
We enjoyed the pool and hot tub area and the cornhole area. Breakfast restaurant was good too
- 3/5
The parking was not great
- 1/5
The first room smelled like a chimney smoke stack, then we moved to a different room and some generator ran all night and I was not able to sleep
- 4/5
great friendly service and location
- 5/5
We loved the whole experience
- 5/5
This was an excellent experience. The beds were very clean and comfortable.
- 3/5
Property seemed dated!
- 1/5
Hotel wasn’t very welcoming at all. As I stood there for a very long time. Thru were helping a guest, then they were having a whole conversation as I just stood there. Other worker just watching. I would never stay here again.
- 5/5
Room and grounds were clean. Harbor restaurants are walkable. We drove to Disneyland one day it took 1.5 hours and left very early and returned quite late and the area felt safe being out at those times.
- 5/5
Easy access to Shelter Island, this hotel has a good location. Room was comfortable and well appointed, and front desk was friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Very inviting and caring welcoming. They offered extra treats and support.
- 5/5
Exclent place to stay. With walking distnace to the bay. Very clean and great customer service.
- 3/5

- 5/5
!
- 4/5
Clean and quiet area’
- 4/5
The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and slept dark. We loved that. We really only needed the hotel for sleep and showering. So it was perfect. We upgraded to the balcony /view room. But I wouldn't suggest that. You cant see the ocean. It was misleading. It was a view of their grass. And the balcony doesn't feel private at all. But the room was comfortable and clean!
- 3/5
3 star over all. For nearly $300 a night you would think that you would at least get breakfast. Everything had to be paid for no amenities. I've stayed it at hotels for less money with much more amenities
- 5/5
Overall a pleasant experience, friendly staff and nice room!
- 4/5
I didn’t get my cookie when I checked in, and our room was a very long way away from the lobby and we didn’t have a car and had to walk dragging three large suitcases since our stay was a stop before an international trip, but the property was clean, people friendly and the restaurant options in walkable distance were excellent.
- 3/5
Broken toilet paper holder No coffee in lobby
- 5/5
Awesome stay
- 4/5
Our suite had a nice view of downtown SD, room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Good dining options nearby and close to many local attractions. Also close to the airport but noise was minimal.
- 3/5
The beds were great, but the old towels, you can tell they are old. That was all.
- 5/5
Great facility. Secure and clean.
- 2/5
The bedroom inside was clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
There needs to be more parking spaces.
- 4/5
Building layout was a bit confusing at first but you figure it out quickly. Rooms were very clean, but could use some work. Nothing major was wrong. Staff was friendly. Pool area is very nice and well kept. Would stay again
- 5/5
It was close to the attractions and beaches. Within walking to restaurants and grocery store. Clean, patios on a grassy garden with a putting green and spacious pool area wth tables chairs and shade. Hot tub was salt water rather then chlorinated water. Parking price should be posted when you book a room on expedia. That was an extra cost that should be on the booking sites but wasn't. Staff was very nice and accommodating. I would stay here again.
- 5/5
It was great. Lots of amenities and helpful staff
- 5/5
Great location within walking distance to many places to eat, stores, etc. Rooms were clean, staff was very nice.
- 5/5
This hotel was very nice, convenient, and clean. The staff allowed us to check in a few hours early without problem. Parking was easy only a $23 additional charge which in these days is pretty good. Nice restaurants and establishments right across the street walking distance. I will stay here again.

Just wrapped up a 3 day/2 night stay. Can’t say enough good things about our experience. Stayed here a few years ago and pretty sure it was a Holiday Inn. It’s now the Doubletree, which was great because we are Hilton honors members. We called the hotel the morning of check-in to see if we could get an early check-in. Not only did they accommodate us, but they gave us a room upgrade as well. We stayed in the main building on the third floor. Fantastic room and the location of the hotel is awesome. Everybody that we interacted with was super nice. This will definitely become our go to spot when coming in to San Diego.

We had an issue with the shower and they moved us immediately. My husband LOVES the cookies.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The room was clean and comfortable. The garden and pool area is very nice and cozy. We loved being so close to the water and being able to walk to restaurants.

Friendly front desk and housekeeping staff were very helpful.

We were here for a family funeral. We had to wait for 1 1/2 hrs to get checked in which made us an hour late to our first family gathering. True, in all fairness our "official" check-in time was 4:00, but we have never had an issue checking in an hour early anywhere else on a non-holiday weekend. On top of that, they at first tried to check us into a lower-grade room, instead of the room we had reserved with a balcony. We also thought we were getting a room in the tall tower. Instead, we were booked into the two-story much older building that did not have an elevator. So just verify that if that is an issue for you. The cafe was under renovation and not open for breakfast. The only other option being a $25pp buffet - another inconvenience. On top of that, there was repaving going on of every major road leading to the hotel which created a huge backup and made travelling to and from the hotel a nightmare. Not the hotel's fault, just be forewarned until that work is completed. Outside of that, the room, bed and balcony were comfortable and clean. The hotel staff were courteous and responsive. Probably won't stay here again though in the future.

The hotel was quiet, clean, and fairly new. The chocolate chip cookies were amazing. And, Nicole at the front desk was Awesome.

Location was good. Pool was very nice however 3 out of 3 days there were no towels. Beds very uncomfortable. Also if you’re not in the first building with the lobby then you have to walk up for any deliveries and it’s not an easy walk you need key cards or you’re walking on the street. Elevators also broke and for some reason when you pay it comes up as holiday inn. Location was convenient for what we wanted to do. Pool was huge for us! Plus the option for larger rooms!

Got a covid 19 after trip !

Definitely not what was pictured. The hotel isn't one building but instead is made up of separate buildings. It was confusing figuring out which building I was in and where the parking entrance was. The room was nice however it wasn't fully stocked. I was missing a wash cloth, the shower gel was empty, and my coffee creamers were not refilled. Not a horrible experience but it could have definitely been better. I was also bummed to see that one of the on site restaurants was closed. It had no mention of that on their website.

Walked in the front door of the room and our feet were sticking to the floor. The room was dingy. We immediately went to the front desk and advised that the property did not meet our expectations and canceled the stay.

No complaints! I would stay there again. Expedia rates were actually more expensive than booking directly with the hotel though.

This is a huge property! If Im not mistaken, I think they have 3 buildings. They have 2 restaurants. One is under construction. Our parking situation was a little messy since the gate wasn't reading our ticket, but they were happy to help us promptly. The staff was incredibly helpful and extremely nice. The area, is quiet. Right across the marina is a plus! There's plenty of restaurants nearby, most open till midnight. Location is close by old town and downtown san Diego. I will stay here again!

Finally did check in, the room had workers in it fixing a light. I paid extra for a room with a view, I got a 1st floor room that faced a wall. My keys didn’t work. Had to go to the front office 3 times before we unpacked the car. Room was pretty gross. I paid for a room with a balcony but since I was on the first floor it was a porch, connected to another room’s porch. I will not be staying there again.

Lots of walking to outter buildings 3-4 and lack of elevator for building 2

Beautiful, comfortable and great location.

This place was horrible & disgusting, it was nothing as the pictures had online. This is not a 3 star hotel. Its worse then Motel 6. The manager would not move our room. This was not worth $325. This creates doubts on ability for hotel.com to be honest in rating a hotel. I doubtful i will use you again.

Not the hotels fault but expedias fault. We reserved a room with a king size bed as we have a 1.5 year old and he sleeps with us. We got to our room and there were 2 queen size beds. Not what we asked for. Will probably not use expedia again.

Nice room.

I really liked this location. The parking is a little tight if you have a bigger vehicle. But the front desk worker was very nice. The location was convenient in the areas we were there to visit. We will be back.

It was not good and the room smells . The carpet was dirty But the bed was nice

Great location. Clean, comfortable beds . Staff was friendly and fast check in. Pool was perfect and they also have a jacuzzi which we used before bedtime. Our view was facing the parking lot but we only stayed 1 night on memorial weekend so that was ok.

We didn’t appreciate that we were getting knocks on our door at 9 am by the cleaning crew, and then again at 10 we felt rushed when checkout is at 11 I had to tell them we were still getting ready to leave

Good position

The only complaints I have is that the air conditioner is leaky and the shower didn’t run properly
- 4/5
After a confusing check in, which they fixed the situation, it was nice, quiet, and convenient for what we needed.

The room smelled of sewage from the shower and sink. I messaged them and received no reply. I asked the front desk for water and they said they don’t give out water. We had to buy $4 water at the vending machine. The pool area was so noisy we could sleep. The staff on the other hand was amazing. Pool bathroom with one sink the water didn’t work , the other bathroom the towel did didn’t work. When we had service to the room they didn’t replace towels !! We won’t be staying there again. Not worth the price

The areo is perfect for hoilday.

It was beautiful inside an out, but the toilets were too low, doors to narrow, beds too high

Was surprised that this hotel became part of the Hilton clan. Two thiings of note Grout in shower was missing I miss the Sheperds Pie ( one of the best I’ve had). Please return it to your menu. Oh and great cookies.

Amazing customer service as always

Hammering started at 7am. Not a noise you want to hear when you're on vacation that early

Nice

issued a room in which the door had an issue with the lock-unable to lock from the inside. Issued a different room in which the bathtub had stains.
- 1/5
Have no idea. After booking on expedia I was told they had no reservation for me and no room available
- 4/5
The room was comfortable with every thing we need. The only issue is the bathroom’s light is on the outside wall, that disturbs others while asleep since the light is bright and the fan is noisy.
- 5/5
The room and service was great. Though during a windy night window glass came off little bit.
- 3/5
Definitely recommend staying in the main building. I was originally in building 5 and the room was so tiny compared to the main building rooms
- 5/5
The service of your reception staff is very good and friendly, also the shuttle to the airport was very good 👍 thanks

Hotel was fine. Attached cafe was not very good. $15 bowl of oatmeal was maybe the worst oatmeal I’ve ever had. Two of the other people who had it agreed.

Everyone was extremely friendly.
