Was a lovely stay and it overlooks the water.

This was an excellent experience, Loved the property, room, and outdoor walking area. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Start to finish it was excellent. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The room and the bathroom were very clean and the staff was very helpful. The only problem I had was the rice paper toilet paper.

Good place to stay. Not fancy but has many conveniences like very small 24 hour market for essentials and snacks including microwave and disposable utensils etc, seating areas, vending machines with drinks. There was much more but didn’t use them like laundry, fire pits, pool etc. would stay again.

The location is great in terms of proximity to the airport (able to walk) and also being in Liberty Station. Housekeeping staff used walkie-talkies at an extremely high volume, making it sound like conversations were happening inside our room. We asked that the volume be lowered, but it wasn't. The noise around 4:00 p.m. was disruptive enough that we left the room. For the price, the room lacked basic amenities such as a microwave and balcony. Having stayed at other nearby hotels, we found this property offered less value for the cost.

Everything was good but the bathroom smelled like urine when we entered. I had colorox wipes with myself and wiped everything and next 2 hours smell went away.

Location Location Location!!! This place can’t be beat. We came for a fishing weekend and it was perfect. Only 5 mins away from the Sportfishing docks. And we even fished late night from the pedestrian bridge right in front of the hotel. There’s also paddleboard rentals on the beach. Walking distance to Liberty Public Market. You don’t even really have to go to downtown or Embarcadero unless you specifically need anything there.

The perfect location for exploring San Diego. Everything is 10-20 mins away. Lovely quiet area and great for kids with the park and playground right there. Love the food market and other places near by. Even enjoyed watching the planes takeoff over the bay. Rooms were good, grounds well kept. But the location can't be understated amazing location.

Used to live in SD and Liberty Station was one of my favorite hangs. This hotel puts you right in the mix of all Liberty Station has to offer - walking distance (5 minutes) to all of it's great food, cafes, shops, and the famous Par 3 course as well. Hotel itself felt brand new and the hot tub was an amazing way to wind down after a long day of enjoying America's Finest City. Will definitely be back.

The staff was helpful and always friendly. There were two computers free to use when I wanted to give my iPhone a rest. The hotel also has a handy “market” room by the front desk with items often needed when traveling. My room was clean and included a Keurig coffee brewer.

Everything was perfect from beginning to end. The best part is that the pool is tempered so it made it enjoyable for the little ones to be in the pool. Every single staff member was nice and helpful. We will definitely be staying here again in the future

Upon arriving we were greeted by a friendly staff that made check in easy and welcoming. The room was clean and properly stocked with all the basics. The shower had nice water pressure and made freshening up enjoyable. The beds were very comfortable and the array of pillows made for a good night's sleep.

Very convenient to have a restaurant in the hotel. We ate there two nights and had breakfast one morning.

Complaints: The sofa bed is horrible...it is not usable. The washers are seriously disgusting and moldy/mildewy, and the dryer did not dry.

I have stayed on this property several time. We love the location. It's in a great area and it's close to so many fun things to do in San Diego. The rooms/hotel is clean, the beds are so comfortable, the AC runs great, and it's quiet.

Check in was maybe the fastest ever. I wish I knew the persons name that checked me in, she was wonderful. Friendly and efficient. The hotel is a tad dated in my opinion but clean and well taken care of. In a super safe feeling residential area. There was plently of parking and $21 a night is a fraction of what they charge at the downtown hotels.

It was a quick one night stay. The staff were very friendly and quick to offer dining and entertainment suggestions. The bar was closed and did not visit the restaurant. But I like the king room with bay view, as it was set up differently than usual making the experience somewhat unique. Very friendly check in staff. Location, but I picked it

I went up to the front desk the day prior to set up shuttle service to the airport. Morning of they said im not signed up and theres no room for me. I had to wait another 15 minutes for a lyft. Having recently had surgery, not a good morning or impression of their hotel.

Complimentary laundry detergent came in handy. Heated pool and Jacuzzi was great. Fitness room was helpful. I didn’t use the bar, but I saw that it was well used. Surrounding area was so scenic and close to everything. Just a great stay over all.

We picked the hotel for the location to Liberty Station and being by the water, It didn't disappoint. We didn't get to experience the hotel or staff much, since we were gone exploring all day and then concerts at night. Airport noise was never an issue.

Our front desk attendant (young woman) was excellent. Friendly, cheerful and helpful. Our shuttle driver was personable and informative. The meal we had in the Lounge was delicious and the bar/lounge attendant was very helpful and attentive.

Room was ok. Bath room was gross and didn’t work properly. We had to call twice to have the toilet unclogged, when just going pee with very little toilet paper. Shower did not drain. When taking a shower you would stand in about 3” of nasty water. I say mast because stuff started coming up from the drain. There was chunks of long black hair coming up as well as long black hair all over the room.

the pancakes were awesome and the service was great. location of hotel was good and convenient to all. parking fee was ridiculous $21.00 per nite, a rip off. Half of the lot was empty. the staff could have been more friendly.

The mattress on the bed in rm 108 was terrible. I stayed in courtyard hotels all up & down the west coast in June of this year & have never encountered a mattress like this in any courtyard hotels in my life, I'm 83 yrs old & know that management should have taken care of this long before now

Beautiful grounds, easy parking. Spacious bathroom. Bed was not as big as a regular King sized, but not a small as a queen. Weird. Room smelled a bit musty, but comfortable. Also the room was not ready at 4:00 for check-in.

We were in room 113, no real complaints, only thing l didnt like was the 21 dollar parking per night, when your already paying over 200.00 for a night stay. Courtyard did allowed us to check in like one hour early, thank you for that.

Overall, it was a quick, but lovely, stay. We enjoyed some delicious nachos and a cocktail by the fire pit before a soak in the hot tub.

Rooms were overpriced, small, loud noises coming from rooms next to ours, it was overall uncomfortable. The only positive thing is the location. Front desk was not very friendly.

The recreational path just outside of the hotel is a nice addition to the area. The hotel is on the water. It has great views!

I had to leave early for a family emergency. When I was speaking to the hotel front desk, he mentioned that they would be willing to credit the day that I’ve missed and to reach out to Expedia to see if they would also credit me for the second day, so I did and to my surprise I got credit back for the day I had to leave early. I was just assuming I was gonna miss out on that refund and it was very nice that the front desk gave that option to me.

For three stars, this hotel had everything: a swimming pool, a jacuzzi, Starbucks, a gym, convenient, many entrances, everything is on a card, parking is convenient, the staff is very polite and not intrusive.

Was great! The only thing is sometimes the elevator didnt work so we had to take the stairs. Was not much of a problem for us because we were only on second floor. Felt bad for those that were on top floor. We stayed there on 4th of July and fireworks were right there over the water. Very nice.

Location and staffs were good. I had 3 no problems. 1.first room air conditioner didn't work. 2. The bathroom smelled like mold the sink stop didn't work.3. I told the bartender that im allergic to red dye. My dessert was bought out to me and had red dye. I can die if i have anything with red dye.

Lighting in the room was awful. Also the bath fixtures had mildew around thd fittings.

I have stayed at the Courtyard Marriott multiple times. It is my "go to" for San Diego. While it is a bit pricey, the rooms and facilities are exceptionally clean and comfortable. The staff is always pleasant. The surrounding area is pretty quiet, minus air traffic and the grounds are nice to walk, bike, etc. I do wish they had on site bicycle rentals. Also, the pool was a little hazy and my grandson kept pulling out hairs.

We love San Diego and the location for this hotel is great! We are so close to everything we wanted to explore. The check in is was quick and easy, the person who helped us at the front desk was excellent. Highly recommend staying here and will definitely will be staying here again.

Excellent hotel. The reservation didn't give a physical address to put in the GPS, so a little tricky to find. Bed was exceptionally comfortable. I requested early check in and got into my room before noon, which was great. Hotel was very quiet. Parking was a challenge even with paid parking. Stay was for a conference, so I wasn't in the hotel enough to enjoy the amenities.

Our toilet got clogged up and when we informed a staff member of this we were informed this is a reoccurring issues they have with the majority of the bathrooms in the hotel and the plumbing isn’t great, they’ve brought this up to management in the past but nothing gets done about it. Would recommend looking for another hotel.

Nice and clean property, good bar with very good food (unfortunately, no vegan options) and excellent service. Staff was very kind. There was a strong damp smell in our room, but we figured it might be from being close to the ocean…maybe. Still, a bit unpleasant. Otherwise, a good stay.

The hotel itself is very nice, clean, and well-maintained. I would definitely stay here again. The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because they don’t offer complimentary breakfast, which would’ve made the experience even better. Still, overall a great place to stay with outstanding staff!

Overall good experience. The room was clean, good gym, nice staff, and excellent location. The pool is pretty small and really would benefit from having showers at the pool. As far as the room goes, the bathroom needs to have a fan and more hooks for hanging towels and wet clothes if you visit the pool. I would still stay again in the future.

This hotel has clean and comfortable accommodations! The staff is kind, and efficient, and I really enjoyed my stay here.

Overall, it wasn’t terrible but the price you pay you should have comfortable beds and available amenities.
