The hotel has a beautiful property with a great location and friendly staff. However, the rooms are outdated, noisy, and have cleanliness issues. Some guests have reported poor service from certain staff members and hidden fees.

It’s a nice & clean hotel. Made you feel as if you are on a tropical island. This is a great place to stay for families as they hv wonderful amenities & other stores/restaurants are found conveniently within a 10min walk. What would make this an outstanding hotel is if they just gave the hotel a make o we & upgrade some of the furnishing in the rooms.

Stayed in the beach front rooms. They are clean and up to date. Can't beat the view. Feels like walking into hawaiian resort. Worth every penny ! Restaurant on site is excellent. Fresh fish selections and good quality drinks. Beach is clean and kid friendly. Resort is walking distance to several restaurants, bars, coffee shops and shopping .Will be back annually with the family .

The room and the facility was dated and a bit delapadated. The overall property was nice they just need to update and clean the rooms
- 2/5
I will never stay here again
- 5/5
Overall, we would stay here again if we return to San Diego. We could walk 2 minutes to Pacific Beach for surfing/dining, and it was close to Sea World and routes to other places we travelled.
- 3/5
Location Rooms are outdated. Carpet is filthy with many stains. Curtains are dirty and ripped. Beds are uncomfortable. Door to bathroom doesn’t close properly. Toilet doesn’t flush properly. Safe in room is locked. The kitchen has no utensils, pots, or any dish wares.
- 4/5
Very good
- 5/5
The amenities were very nice and the property was clean and well kept the rooms were always cleaned by housekeeping with no hassle, valet was very efficient I didn’t like how for the price of the rooms valet is not included for guests. For the price of a luxury hotel that should be included
- 3/5
Long line for registration. Staff very unfriendly they don’t even speak English. Hair on our bed which means sheets were not changed. Had to wait 20 minutes for someone to come by. Once they did this Dr sweet time to change the sheets while my young children were ready for bed at 9:30 PM, not a very good experience.

We absolutely love staying here. We will be back
- 5/5
This was our 3rd stay in the last few years. It’s perfect for our family. Well maintained, clean and safe!
- 5/5
The room I had, for just one night, was very comfortable. I would say the bathtub/shower could use a help for me, with no shower mat inside tub and nothing to grab on to. Clean towels and Lather soaps and lotions a plus. The restaurant staff was exceptional.

The resort was wonderful!!! Felt like you were in Hawaii. They had something for everyone. We loved hanging out with birds.Room was clean and nice. We will be back again!!!

It was very nice and well kept The only thing was valet parking. It could of been shortage of staff but when we arrived there was only 1 car ahead of us and the non busy valet person was just hanging around and never approached the car, I had to get off and go ask if he was valet and if they were in service and he was like yeah after I told him we were waiting there he mention oh yeah that they were busy and short staff and he also looked confused on what to do. And at the end of my stay when checking out Valet was not open yet so I had to go get my car out of the lot with all my luggage. I just didn’t think the daily fee for valet parking was worth it for me.

- 5/5
The cost of parking was kind of a bummer, but it was nice to have guaranteed parking if you're coming and going. We didn't try the on-site restaurants due to $$$ but tons of yummy spots close by.
- 4/5
The cleaning service was terrible. I had to call every day to have it cleaned. If I didn’t it wouldn’t get done. I was never restocked with toiletries or even a hand soap! They didn’t wipe anything down and I had to ask for a vacuum. Not acceptable.
- 5/5
Great location, super nice staff and perfect room
- 3/5
If you’re looking to stay and enjoy just go somewhere else all u can use is the pool and hot tub for a ridiculous price of 400 a night you get a 100 dollar hotel room
- 5/5
The Catamaran was the perfect resort for our family trip (2 adults + 4 year old). The grounds of the resort are beautiful and immersive. The pool area is fantastic. The beach access is perfect. Great stay, we will be back!
- 4/5
Amenities were not great, especially in comparison to the resort fee & never saw any info on the spa or other amenities for that matter. The beds were okay but pillows were too fat. Most of the staff was great. Zach was especially helpful, very pleasant young man
- 5/5
The staff truly makes this place special. Front desk associate Marianna was amazing, warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. In fact, the entire team was outstanding, going above and beyond to ensure every guest felt taken care of. Their hospitality is second to none. If you’re looking for a beautiful, relaxing escape with incredible surroundings and top notch service, the Catamaran Resort delivers on every level. Can’t wait for the tower renovation. The updated lower units were excellent. Highly recommend!

Loved everything about the resort. We are definitely coming back to the same room we stayed in with the bay view.
- 5/5
Best place ever
- 4/5
Fun hotel theme but could use a major renovation in the tower rooms. The property is beautiful and relaxing and so close to the beach. Don’t forget to pick up your beach chairs that are included in your fees. (That wasn’t mentioned on checking in).

This is our favorite resort in San Diego, we return every visit. Staff are very friendly and helpful, property is beautiful with ponds, waterfalls, koi, birds and ducks. We love the location, on the bay and close to the beach. The property is a private oasis in the midst of the busy beach area. We enjoy the pool and arcade as well.
- 5/5
Very tropical feel. Clean. Very friendly, helpful staff!
- 3/5
The property is very old. The staff is very friendly and nice.
- 5/5
The room was clean, the grounds are beautiful and look to be well cared for. The staff were accommodating and supported an early check in with ease. We never had an opportunity to try the restaurant. However, the service and the drinks in the lounge were great! Thank you Catamaran for making our little getaway great!
- 5/5
the pool was heated. the staff were very nice and accommodating. I would definitely recommend and go back to explore more
- 3/5
The property and guest rooms are starting to show their age and could definitely use some updates to justify the premium price point. When compared to more affordable local options like The Dana or the Bahia, the Catamaran didn't feel significantly more upscale. The service was the most inconsistent part of our stay. Specifically, the staff at the bar were not very welcoming or friendly, and our room went uncleaned for the first two days we were there. Additionally, the poolside dining experience was a bit disorganized; staff would drop orders at a communal table and walk away, leaving guests to figure out which meal belonged to whom. While we enjoyed the scenery and the stay was fine, the lack of hospitality and the need for property updates make it hard to choose this over less expensive, comparable hotels in the area. I likely wouldn't return given the other high-value options nearby.
- 5/5
Ate at the Ocean twice and food was great both times and service attentive. We're in the tower and the view of the bay and large suite were awesome. It is an older place with popcorn ceilings and no bellman to help with bags or locating you unit. Check-in was awesome accommodating our early arrival. It's a great beach resort at which I.would.like to spend a week.
- 5/5
Great place!
- 5/5
Resort was in a great place to enjoy ocean and bay
- 4/5
Booking here is a bit anxiety inducing-you never know what the condition of the rooms will be. For the price I feel you should feel confident knowing your room will be clean and in good repair-not always the case. This one had a terrible smell-not necessarily the mold smell that’s common but something else -perhaps carpet at a beachfront isn’t the best idea. Also the bed needs to be replaced and hard surfaces like nightstands, dressers, desks, phones, remotes should be cleaned between guests as standard practice. This room had not been.
- 5/5
We loved our stay. Was so closer to beach, beautiful grounds. So much fun.
- 3/5
Rooms are old. Needed updating and could use better cleaning. Outdoor property is beautiful.
- 5/5
Wonderful hotel for families right near the bay and the beach. Walkable to restaurants, shopping and beach. Pool is great. And warm hot tub. Really pretty, tropical grounds.

Everything was great
- 5/5
We had a short stay of two nights, with two littles (ages 7 and 4). The rooms were nice, however outdated, and accommodated our needs quite well. We got an ocean view, while being in the tower. The staff was very pleasant and they had events over the weekend, which was pretty cool. This place is like a little tropical island tucked between the bay and the beach. The bay is right off from the property and it is very short walk to the beach (100yards maybe). I would defiantly stay here again.
- 3/5
The room felt like it was going through its own midlife crisis—outdated, chipped bathtub, and somehow…no microwave. I had leftover asada tacos just staring at me like, “So this is how it ends?” Tragic. Sleep? Not really part of the package. Every morning at 5am, the balcony door Olympics began—SLAM, SLAM, SLAM—like thunder was personally targeting my room. Add in late-night music, yelling, and what I can only assume were impromptu life crises happening in the hallways, and…yeah. Peace and quiet did not RSVP. Dining was an adventure. I went to Oceana, got seated immediately, and then…entered witness protection because no one acknowledged me for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, people seated after me were already ordering appetizers, entrees, possibly dessert. I eventually left and went to Morays, where the staff swooped in like angels and restored my faith in humanity (and the food was actually amazing). And then the fees. Oh, the fees. Parking fees (double up to 4x what other places charge) Plus resort fees, mystery fees, vibes fees…by the end, 4 nights came with a one night equivalent surprise party I did not agree to attend. To be fair, the general manager Jayne was incredibly kind and helped me check out early and refunded the remaining nights—so major points there for customer service redemption.
- 3/5
Old hotel, no microwave in rooms. Beautiful area on beach. But 1970ish style needs Major upgrading. Walkway cement crumbling, dangerous! 3 days I payed over 1600 dollars.
- 5/5
Beautiful property. Needs a little updating and could use a little cleaning in the buildings. But we love it!
- 5/5
I felt like I was in Hawaii:) I’m a San Diego native so this was a staycation but it was wonderful. My only recommendation would be is that the kayak and paddle board rentals should be complimentary. Oh, and the pool could’ve been a bit warmer. But overall, great little getaway:)
- 5/5
Breathtaking views, family friendly environment, great place to stay with kids, amazing food at the Oceana restaurant, lovely beach. The only downside is old bathrooms. It really needs a good renovation- a walking shower, new tiles and walls would attract more guests there specially younger generations.
- 4/5
The amenities at the hotel were quite nice: pool, hot tub, free arcade for the kids, and three on-site dining options. It is a beautiful property and well situated between the bay and the ocean.
- 5/5
Highly recommend the ocean view in tower pent house. Amazing!
- 5/5
Easy beach and pool access with several nearby restaurants and shops. The tropical feel was a nice escape on a budget. Great for families. Would definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
Great location and amazing property.
- 4/5
The pool and hot tub were pretty awesome and I enjoyed the tropical Hawaiian vibe too
- 3/5
The parking lot was more visible from our room. For $700 per night, I was very disappointed. While you fill your pockets, you empty the working man/woman's. I won't be back. Hot tub was nice, but I have one of those at home. The whole vibe of the hotel has seen better years.
- 5/5
Love it - the spa and the location was the best
- 5/5
Amazing
- 4/5
Not bad
- 2/5
Very lame hotel. Was built in 1970's and hasn't had any upgrades since. Waaaayyyy overpriced for quality of amenities.
- 5/5
Only thing negative to note was don’t use the alarm clocks to charge your phone. It drains them if left overnight.
- 5/5
Amazing place
- 4/5
It is a great location! The rooms are basic, they have a fridge and we asked for a microwave. We backed onto the pool, it was surprisingly quiet. The hotel is great for kids, pool and hot tub, the arcade was free and we had a great time playing air hockey!
- 3/5
Check in was quick. Wish we would have been given instructions on how to operate tv and connect to WiFi. We were given list of restaurants nearby, etc. But would have been helpful to have a map of the area. Also, housekeeping was inconsistent. Some days, no water, some days not enough towels, and other supplies such as kleenex or cups, etc. Staff was very nice though when called to help. Abel and parter in coffee shop were very nice. We enjoyed visiting with them every morning.
- 5/5
The entire resort was absolutely beautiful. The gardens outside were so well kept along with all the animals that live within the resort. I stayed on the very top of the tower. Those rooms are a bit dated but it was very comfortable and the view alone made the room more than worth it. The pool and hot tube were also amazing, the outdoor seating was very comfortable and a great spot to recharge after having a morning hike. I didn’t care for the food at the restaurant as much. I would rather get a bite to eat at a local taco spot. Shout out to the little taco place right next to the resort! But back to the resort. The staff at the front desk were fantastic, always more welcoming for any questions or concerns that I had. That place is ran like a fine machine. Would definitely stay here again!
- 4/5
Great location for PB. Easy to walk to the store, beach, and restaurants. Food and beverages staff at the resort were meh. Pool bar was never open. Front desk staff had the best customer service and were the most friendly.
- 4/5
We had an issue with flooding in our water view room moved to another less comparable room. However this situation was rectified by the hotel management in a successful manner, so happy with our stay.
- 3/5
There is a fee to park: $45/day to self park or $50/day for valet. We chose valet because what’s another $5. The property is beautiful, but what was pictured at booking was not what we got. The pool ran out of towels in our last day, so we had to wait until more towels were brought. We dined at Oceania once. It was nice, but not the best meal of the trip. We also used room service once for dining. It was nice to have this option since the littlest one fell asleep around dinner time. It was $103 for a hamburger, child’s pasta, cocktail, and Hawaiian chocolate cake. I had a massage and facial. The spa facility was nice and relaxing overall, and the staff friendly. The gym is located in the spa area and operates based on their hours. I exercise earlier due to little ones, so despite being thrilled they had Pelotons, I was never able to use the fitness area. My family said they would stay again, but we would ensure we received a room that at least had its own area to sit and enjoy the outside space, and where we didn’t worry people could see us while changing our clothes.
- 5/5
The grounds were beautiful and it had a nice tropical vibe that I really enjoyed! The pool and spa were very nice.
- 4/5
Overall, we had a great stay.
- 2/5
The resort is dated and pool is small. The restaurant areas were dirty and well understaffed. The hotel advertised kids activities and afternoon snack and drinks but there was nothing. The only upside is the small coffee shop.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel with lovely staff. Great location.
- 3/5
The bartender on duty at the pool was lazy, rude and rolled his eyes when we ordered an additonal drink, saying that we hadn't actually ordered two, just one and now he had to make another one. Food took almost an hour to receive it from the time of ordering. The bathroom shampoo, conditioner (amenities) were rusty around the bottle, dirty and said "non-refillable" but 2 of the pumps were out of the bottle. Very unhygienic and false advertising. Poor experience for $400+ a night.
- 5/5
Had a lovely view of the water (though it was across the roof of a low building in front of me). Spa services were great (massage was terrific), but the "amenities" were just water and tea. The sauna and steam room were terrific. Property is charming, but rundown. Think 70's California crossed with tiki bar, but maybe hasn't been updated since then. But room was clean, grounds were very well maintained, and the koi ponds were endlessly entertaining. Food in restaurants was great. Coffee bar food is lame. Location was great, Walk out the back door and you are on the bay; walk two blocks the other direction, you are on Mission beach. Lots of small coffee shops nearby, though restaurants for dinner in walking distance were more limited.
- 3/5
Bath tub had not been cleaned, view was alright (picked the room with the pacific view and ended up with the room with the view of the parking garage), price was $300 more than what hotels.com priced it at so when I got there I had to fork over more and dint expect that. It’s been a week and still haven’t received my refund like I was supposed to. The resort is not what it claimed to be on hotels.com and is also not what I was expecting from the photos.
- 3/5
Rooms were clean but lacked room
- 5/5
Was so nice got there early and they let us in our room such a bonus
- 5/5
The extras in the public areas are exceptional and a great enhancement of the overall experience at the Catamaran: the water features, the landscaping, the lawn and beach areas, birds, turtles, Koi. The staff (all of the staff) were friendly and responsive.
- 5/5
The staff was very helpful and cordial… we will definitely stay here again.

Super kid friendly

Best Location, good amenities and clean. Restaurant is great, but the hotel rooms are dated, needs some Reno’s!!
- 5/5
That said, as someone who tends to be proactive, I found much of the staff to be more reactive. For example, I had to notify the spa twice that the sauna was not working, and that several shower divider rings were missing, leaving the dividers hanging loose. The lobby had a very long check-in line and didn’t add additional staff at the desk until it was brought to their attention. One morning, I sat outside for about 20 minutes waiting for breakfast service. The doors were wide open and music was playing, but when I asked a staff member what time they opened, she responded, “I think 7am,” which didn’t inspire much confidence. At another point, I locked myself out of my room and encountered a language barrier with the housekeeping staff, which made resolving the issue more difficult than it needed to be. There was also a visibly cracked table that housed a firepit in a common area. While caution tape was placed around it, nothing was moved, repaired, or properly addressed during my entire five-day stay. It remained a noticeable and unattended issue the whole time. If the team were more proactive—addressing issues as they notice them and anticipating guest needs—the experience could easily rise to a much higher level. As it stands, I’d rate it a C+. The location made it great; the service made it just okay.
- 5/5
Amazing place with lots of botanical features!
- 5/5
Clean Room. Good AC
- 4/5
Outside from the sticker shock the resort it’s was fantastic - wonderful staff, great location, great pool, waterfront access. Felt more like Hawaii than SD!
- 4/5
Family friendly resort on beautiful Mission Bay. The grounds are beautiful and well-kept. Five minute walk to the Pacific Beach which has lots of restaurants and coffee shacks. There is a walking path along the beach that is right out the back door of the resort along with big grassy area with lounge chairs (these should be replaced, they are NOT comfortable and in disrepair.) Clean rooms and accommodating staff. Downside: restaurants/bar are quite expensive and not family friendly. Bring your water bottle because you will pay $5-6 for a 12oz bottle of water.
- 5/5
Yes
- 4/5
Rooms were a bit outdated, staff were okay but we really liked the amenities and the resort hotel itself. Beautiful landscaping, nice pool and hot tub area, an arcade, restaurant. All of it is very beautifully done and its a great location.
- 4/5
Clean room and very quiet. Facilities close to the beach!
- 5/5
Location was nice and the beach being right there was great!
- 3/5
Great location but cost is not a good value. It's too expensive especially when all of the add on costs (parking. fitness center, etc) are factored in. It's not a good value
- 5/5
Great location to get around to the sites we wanted to see. Good food, good happy hour.
- 4/5
Great location for beach proximity and served us well for a short vacation. We went in February and many amenities such as kids activities were lacking which made it feel like less of a resort experience. But overall kids had a great time in pool, hot tub and arcade.
- 4/5
The staff they have cleaning or hard working. Made our stay very pleasurable and for that we made sure to leave the proper tip
- 5/5
The hotel was so beautiful and the interior was full of trees, water, koi fish, and parrots outside. The room was perfect and clean, the spa is so relaxing and offers just a day pass if wanted. It’s lake front as well. Overall great stay!
- 5/5
The resort is beautiful, staff were friendly and b helpful. Our room right on the beach was perfection.
- 4/5
Very nice location, great view of Mission Bay. Easy walking distance to off site restaurants and pacific ocean beach. Hotel is very dated, room service fine, however, we stayed 10 days and never experienced room cleaning.
- 5/5
Everything was amazing I had a great stay thank you so much!!!
- 2/5
First off when you check in they are going to hit you with a bunch of fees. The rooms are outdated and kind of run down. They seem to spend the money on the koi ponds and landscaping. If you get room 162 just refuse it and get another room. They start moving garbage bins at 5am and they are so loud it sounds like they are moving the cart through your room. How they don’t have pneumatic tires on those carts to quiet them down is beyond me. Spa is way over priced. We went down town and found massages for half price. This place is serviceable but definitely leave a lot to be desired.
- 2/5
Very Dated, not clean, building and room were very worn down. Hair in bathroom, just felt dirty. Not a relaxing stay! Couldn't wait to get out!
- 3/5
Overall - was just average.
- 5/5
Nice staff- great location!
- 4/5
Amenities and location.
- 5/5
The property was gorgeous, felt like stepping into a tropical paradise.
- 5/5
Amenities were great. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Resort was beautiful.
- 3/5
ROOMS NEED UPDATING!!
- 4/5
Location!
- 5/5
Beautiful Clean Rooms. Beautiful View of the garden. Close to the bay. The staff was great friendly & helpful. I had a spa day and treatment it was so nice.
- 5/5
The room was spacious and clean. The koi pond was right outside our door.
- 5/5
Love your resort - but would have liked a wash cloth in the room
- 5/5
Room was clean and spacious. Property grounds were so tranquil.
- 5/5
Hotel is in a great location. Close to the Beach and the Bay. Not far from the Airport, Zoo, La Jolla or even downtown. Room and the grounds were clean and well kept. Pool and Hot tub were nice. We were just there so some amenities are not available in the off season, but still plenty to in San Diego. We had a great stay.
- 1/5
Horrible stay! We called and asked for the quietest room possible. When we arrived at 4 to check in we reiterated our request to a woman (I think her name is Joanne). We explained that my mom was in the hospital and we would appreciate it if we could be in the quietest possible and we didn't need to check in immediately if they were cleaning a quieter room. She was so rude and basically said we get what we get. She didn’t even say she would see if there was anything she could do or even say she was sorry we were in this position. Basically it was a tough sh*t. The room we were given was on the first floor of the tower. Room 152. We had to listen to people screaming by the elevator all night. We were woken up in the middle of the night & at 2 & 3am. If we were even 3 doors away from the elevator it would have helped. Having stayed here several times in the past we know that there are quieter rooms in the same room class. We totally understand that there were no rooms available in the next room class up which we would have happily paid for but to be honest the way she acted during check in made it feel like she deliberately put us in the loudest possible location. Luckily we had to get up very early but other potential customers should know that the leaf blowers start at 7am, the staff talk loudly & car alarms go off occasionally. The hotel should place someone at the entrance of the tower to remind guests & staff to keep their voices at a normal level.
- 3/5
Room dated, especially bathroom
- 5/5
Beautiful resort. The gardens and lobby waterfall make you feel like you’re not even in California anymore. Very tropical.
- 4/5
The room was clean. The staff was very courteous when I checked in however, when I checked out the person at the counter was not that friendly. We had a great dinner at Oceana with a fantastic waiter. My husband and I really enjoyed the grounds and we had a very nice experience getting a couples massage at the spa. I do think that the restaurant should have done a better job of staffing because it was a very busy weekend and they didn’t seem to have very much staff and the service was kind of slow.
- 5/5
The staff was always friendly and smiling which is a tribute to your hotels culture. Well Done!
- 5/5
I absolutely plan on coming back! This place is great for kids as well! Also highly recommend the Mexican food place right next door! Definitely the best I’ve ever had
- 5/5
We had a fantastic experience at the Catamaran Resort. The dated rooms will need a facelift to take them to the top tier, but the people were fantastic, and the location puts you right in the middle of the best parts of Mission and Pacific Beach. My wife and I look forward to our next stay at Catamaran and partying on Pacific Beach.
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 5/5
We have stayed at the Catamaran several times. The Pacific Beach area is great, and the catamaran is at the foot of many excellent restaurants and bars. Right next to the beach, and great staff and lovely grounds. The bar and bartenders are awesome.
- 2/5
Property is rundown. Rooms are in need of a major upgrade. Resort fees and parking in excess of $100/night are exorbitant considering is a two-star propert best.two-star property at best.
- 5/5
Loved it!
- 4/5
Beach had a lot of seaweed and rocks so wasn’t as perfect as shown in pictures—- but still pretty. Definitely no swimming this time of year. Staff was excellent and helpful! Shout out Kevin at the bar he was above and beyond
- 4/5
Great view from room.

Great location! Wonderful staff, clean facilities, lots to do.
- 4/5
But the carpet in the rooms
- 4/5
Location was great. Room is getting outdated and worn and sliding glass door didn’t close all the way so rain got in. Otherwise, arcade was fun for kids.
- 4/5
One block from the ocean, convenient to get to. Food in restaurant was good. Location was good. Pool and hot tub were clean and nice. Rooms were clean. It is just an older hotel that's all. All in all, we were happy with our stay.
- 3/5
The "studio" we rented had no utensils, plates or cups. The pool and hot tub were out of order for weeks but we were not told about it 2 days until our arrival. Housekeeping leaves a lot to be desired. The room was never vacuumed and we constantly had to call the front desk to ask for fresh coffee cups.
- 4/5
The staff was friendly and the amenities were great for both kids and adults. The bird cage was a big hit with our toddler. Overall, it was an enjoyable, stress-free stay, and we would happily return and recommend it.
- 4/5
Our room was spacious, clean & comfortable. Our 2nd floor garden room looked out on a koi pond with lots of tropical foliage. Unfortunately it was right next to housekeeping which started early & finished late (got noisy before sunrise) - coming in we had to go around back of the building along a gate separating the property from a city street, shimmy by a pole to get to the stairs which overlooked housekeeping/maintenance at the top & there was a housekeeping cart & supplies right outside our door - all lowering the ambience level significantly. The pool and whirlpool were closed due to maintenance & while a sign said we could use those amenities at a sister hotel we were not made aware of this when booking & were still charged the resort fee. We were definitely bummed to not be able to easily use the pool.
- 4/5
Good food, friendly service
- 5/5
A wonderful place to stay. Great amenities, location to the beaches, food options on and within walking distance of the resort. Very friendly staff. Our only complaint was the cleaning staff must have forgotten to finish our room after our first night. The beds were made but towels, washcloths, coffee, paper coffee cups, and tissues were not replaced. We didn’t notice until the morning and it was too late to get them to bring replacements. Since we were only there two nights, we don’t know if it was just a mistake or if they only replace them on request.
- 4/5
Clean room, beautiful ambiance and nature. Loved the parrots and ducks and the beach access. The pool and hot tub were out of service which wasn't mentioned during the booking. They charge you 45/day for parking too!
- 5/5
Absolutely beautiful. We will definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Great staff and clean
- 4/5
The grounds were beautiful and we have a beautiful view of the water. The room was a little dated but nothing terrible. The beds were comfortable as well.
- 4/5
Everything was excellent except for the condition of the room. It is in sore need of renovation. It is just very tired.
- 4/5
We had a great stay! The rooms are definitely on the older side and the bathroom small but the grounds were beautiful and the location was great! The sliding door was really loud as well but all around would stay again. Great for the price.
- 2/5
We arrived to find a daily parking cost of $45. Our room overlooked a jack hammering team renovating the pool and hot tub (8+ hrs/day). Needless to say, this was not disclosed when I booked the accommodations. Luckily, we were able to find a room at the Hyatt!
- 5/5
very helpful, courteous staff; excellent housekeeping. Great location!
- 5/5
Wonderful
- 5/5
Clean room and easy check-in. Swimming pool was being re-tiled so unavailable during our stay by front desk waived the resort fee to compensate. Very close to the beach. Not noisy. Friendly staff. Couple restaurants available downstairs but walkable to nearby restaurants on the beach front. Didn't get a chance to use the spa facilities.
- 5/5
Great place to vacation.
- 5/5
Although the hotel is a bit dated, it’s super Hawaii vibes and chill next to a lot of night life.
- 5/5
Loved the big bathroom with 2 sinks and lots of counter and shelf space for all the toiletries that comes with a family of 5. Staff quickly replenished towels and toilet paper when needed. Loved the easy beach access and the free arcade!
- 3/5
Rooms had a bad smell and fixtures looks rusty and old
- 3/5
They could change the beds in our room we stayed in. They were extremely uncomfortable.
- 2/5
Room 117 next to pool and hot tub, very noisy, music playing right outsid the room. Door to room does not close properly, no weather seal, light coming in all around perimeter. Expensive paid parking spaces were too small for most vehicles. After three nights, my car doors were damaged from other vehicles with same issues. Will not return.
- 1/5
Room smelled very musty and was old.
- 4/5
Nice property. DIdn't like the late check-in due to room not being ready. Told twice they were actually cleaning the room. We finally get to the room and it's already occupied.
- 5/5
The rooms are very clean and neat. The towels are clean and fresh, and are changed every day without requests. We enjoyed the service. The waiters are very friendly and professional, foods are great, and the front desk service is wonderful as well. Looking forward to going back!
- 5/5
We had a very nice stay. The koi ponds were so neat around the resort. It is not the absolute newest, but it is clean. If we stay in San Diego again we would definitely return. It is walking distance to shopping, food, drinks and most importantly the beach.
- 5/5
Outstanding Resort. The landscaping around property is beautiful
- 5/5
Amazing room, phenomenal staff, highly recommend! Favorite hotel in San Diego
- 3/5
It's our 2nd time there. Our only complaint is the rooms need renovation and actual deep cleaning.
- 4/5
Also, the ‘two’ restaurants and pretty much the same thing that doesn’t seem to know what it wants to be. Would be wise to have one more ‘upscale’ dining with nice meal options and another more ‘pub’ or cafe style dining.
- 5/5
Our room was just wonderful— right over the koi pond. quiet, clean
- 5/5
Clean and family friendly. Great location.
- 5/5
The staff was very hospitable and the hotel itself adds to the overall wonderful experience San Diego has to offer.
- 5/5
This place was fun. Not the most modern, but a great deal and we'll be going back again for sure?
- 5/5
Staff was very nice and courteous!
- 5/5
Beautiful grounds, views & location near the Bay and Ocean. Staff was friendly and helpful and the room was great!
- 4/5
We checked in early w/out trouble, it was amazing! The grounds are well-maintained & simply beautiful. Perfect tropical feeling, like your own personal oasis. The pool & hot tub were great size & seating was sufficient considering it wasn’t very busy when we visited (Nov20). I could see this being an issue during busier months. Towels were easily accessible & they even let you take them to the beach. Everyone I interacted with were super nice & helpful. The cafe prices are a bit high: a sm bottle of kombucha was $8, & reg drip coffee was $5 - same price as a latte. Also, the room svc/pool menu is limited & didn’t ever seem to suit our needs. We were in the Tower: 11th floor (elevators were perfectly functional). View was impeccable of both the bay & ocean in the distance. The beds/pillows were a bit too firm, bathroom very small and def had a smell to it. All that said, I would definitely return. The ambiance is wonderful & resort feel was exactly what we were looking for.
- 2/5
old windows (which were one complete wall of my room) did not stop drafts or noise. And they wheeled laundry carts on the cobblestones below until 11 pm and began again at 6 am. It was awful.
- 4/5
The exterior is beautiful
- 5/5
We asked for early check in and we’re not give. It. We actually did not get notified our room was ready until after 4pm
- 5/5
Wonderful coffee shop and waterfront restaurant Only gripe was the $45 nightly parking Kind staff and we arrived late for our one night and they allowed us to check out late the following day so we could enjoy the hotel amenities Great location with wonderful walking access along the bay and easy access to the beach and shops (across the street)
- 4/5
But the high point is the location Rooms 3star location 5 star
- 5/5
We were by the Koi pond and enjoyed the serene water sound.
- 3/5
I have stayed at the property two times prior to this visit and I always enjoy the direct access to the beach. This visit was not as pleasing due to the sink being stuffed up and room service not being available. I tried calling multiple times but no one ever picked up the phone so I had to walk down to order.
- 5/5
We’re looking forward to staying here again soon, thank you!
- 5/5
Our room, the property and staff were great. I would suggest a bar and appetizers at the pool
- 5/5
The location was perfect. Restaurants and the beach were within walking distance.
- 5/5
Good resort
- 1/5
Late at night, people walking into our patio and sitting on our lounge chairs,
- 5/5
Everything was clean, staff was friendly and helpful! We wished there were better options for lunch/dinners, our plan was the have dinner at the restraunt with all the kids and family but found out when we went to make a reservation they were completely full due to a wedding party. I just wish we would have known to make plans accordingly. That’s was one reason we booked the first floor bayfront rooms to be able to take kids back to the room if needed during dinner and so we had to leave off property and find a kid friendly spot. That’s a small downside to a really awesome weekend because other than that, it was a great time as usual. We have stayed there many time and it will continue to be our family spot.
- 3/5
Staff did
- 3/5
The staff was excellent! The wedding venue was wonderful. Our room in the Tower, though clean, was small, dated and overlooked a parking garage . Additionally, I I had to spend $5+ per day for a cup of coffee! I think the drinks at the bar were also overpriced.
- 5/5
Return guest, will stay again.
- 5/5
Staff was helpful, rooms were updated and nice. Grounds and pool were great. Location is perfect
- 5/5
Nice stay, we will return again. Family loves it and great location. All the amenities help make for a great stay.
- 4/5
We got a room on the beach and the beach view be beautiful
- 5/5
The property is right on the beach which makes for a beautiful sight, our room was on the first floor with the view of the beach absolutely beautiful, we want the same exact room on our return. Front desk, bellman and bartender were extremely pleasant and helpful. A1 property!!
- 5/5
Staff are amazing , always ready to help . Hotel is beautiful , I will be coming back soon !
- 4/5
Staff were friendly, attentive, and quick to deal with any concern or issue. The resort is a comfortable walk to a grocery store and pharmacy. Beachfront activities do make this resort very busy and relatively noisy all day and often late at night. We enjoyed the many walks along the beach walkway.
- 5/5
Small but nice gym. Great location — short walk to restaurants and the beach.
- 5/5
The room was clean, and territory in the hotel is beautiful.
- 5/5
This place is very nice and comfortable, I stayed for 2 nights and I didn't have to go far because next to it is the bay and the sea
- 5/5
Clean and helpful staff.
- 5/5
I love this hotel !!!!!!! It has everything you need !!! Close to the beach !!! Nice helpful staff !!!
- 5/5
Beautiful resort with great views of the bay and the beach. Walking distance to the beach, bay and shopping and restaurants. Clean hotel and the restaurants inside the hotel were great.
- 5/5
Amazing experience and beautfiul
- 4/5
Love the Catamaran, have stayed several times. Property beautiful as always - the lawn chairs and tables could use a good cleaning. Also the shampoo, body wash, conditioner containers were very difficult to get to dispense.
- 5/5
We really felt like we were in a beautiful exotic location. We enjoyed our room and the quietness when the doors were closed. We were close to many dining and fun activities. The dining options on the property were delicious. We also enjoyed sitting but one of the many Koi ponds and watching the animals. Our stay was fantastic and we will be back.
- 5/5
I have stayed at this property many times before, but I have to say that much improvement was experienced. The grounds are beautiful, but I think renovations on the rooms and pool areas are needed.
- 5/5
Room was lovely, staff was friendly, area around the resort was also really nice. There were rentable bikes and boats, and running: walking paths, tons of food and sites to see without having to drive. Only thing i didn’t love was valet hours but i am sure most people aren’t tryig to go do things before 730.
- 3/5
The good, great location. Located on a calm and large bay beach. The best part about this property is it only takes about 3 minutes to walk to ocean. The boardwalk , with its many restaurants, bars, surfboard, skateboard, bike, beach chair rentals, and yes the Pacific Ocean and its large beach is amazing. I could have spent the entire week there. Easy uber rides to many other attractions, or bike many places. The bad , the room had a strong mildew smell and is older and in need of some updating. The pool area is basic and the pool bar is not really a bar, it is a drink stand the charges a real bar price as if it has some ambiance. Read the fine print, I was surprised by a $52 a day resort fee after my stay. This should really be reflected in the upfront price as I did not receive anything special for the fee. The service and amenities are about what you would expect at a national discount motel chain. If you want a great location and friendly staff and will spend most of your time away from resort anyway, you will like it , just be aware of true price.
- 5/5
Beautiful landscaping
- 5/5
Beautiful family resort
- 2/5
I never received the payment receipt
- 3/5
Room was clean but the room is in need of remodeling…very old
- 4/5
The grounds and the location make this a very relaxing and convenient stay. However, the service is somewhat lacking. When we made request for coffee pods to make coffee, they were incredibly slow to the point where we had to go to the main desk and get them ourselves. The same thing happened when we requested a microwave. It was nice that they would supply one when requested because they were not in the room, but they took a day to get it to us. Moreover, parking at $45 a day it’s just outrageous. San Diego is not New York.
- 3/5
The stay was good, the hotel was nice, but for the price it seemed kind of outdated for a “resort” style hotel. The room layout needs to be looked into. We booked a room with two queens and the second bed was very close to the balcony door and A/C making it a little hard to get between even for our child. You can hear people in the hallway if they’re talking. You can hear the room above and below you, especially if they’re opening their balcony door. You can hear traffic/sirens outside. I’ve stayed in hotels near airports and you don’t hear a thing.
- 5/5
We’ll definitely be back. The only minor note is that the room could use a little updating, but aside from that, we had a really pleasant and enjoyable stay.
- 5/5
We brought our little dog and it was perfect. So close to beach and bay! Loved the restaurant and lava Java for morning coffee! We will be back again!
- 5/5
Perfect staycation & amazing views
- 4/5
Some of the front desk staff was not very friendly. Manager is wonderful and helped with an issue we had with our bill. Grounds are beautiful
- 5/5
Loved the location. So great to walk across the street to Pacific beach or relax under an umbrella on the Bayside, watching the windsurf action, people watching and ordering drinks from Catamaran's restaurant.
- 3/5
When we checked in we were alerted that they overbooked the king room we booked and so we were given another room for the first night and upgraded to a king suite the second night. The first room they put us in had an active water leak and a large area of carpet was soaked. Once we notified them we were promptly moved. The king suite was very nice and very kind of them. The beds in all the rooms we stayed in were not very comfortable. We were charged $600 more than the rate we were given by hotels.com upon check out. Fixing this required a few conversations and a phone call. In the end, I was charged $100 more than the hotels.com rate and didn’t feel like putting more time in to resolve the issue. The location is fantastic and the staff are extremely kind. Overall, it was a good stay but we will not stay again because of the beds and the troubles.
- 5/5
Our son lives in Pacific Beach so our family was visiting !! Our location was so perfect !! The Catamaran is beautiful and we’ll always try to stay there when visiting our son!!
- 3/5
-the location is super walkable with tons of restaurants and right across from the beach! -the grounds of the hotel are pretty with the koi
- 5/5
Tropical setting was lovely
- 3/5
Room: Upon entering the room, the room smelled musky/moldy with a hint of cigarette smoke. Sand was in/on the bathroom floor, and shower curtain was dirty (stained and had hair solidified on it. Amenities: No chairs or service in the beach club. No posting of “seasonal” dates. Overall: went for a wedding, but will not stay there again. Not impressed, especially for what I paid for it. Motel quality at best.

⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 The Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa is pure paradise in San Diego! From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed by a lush tropical atmosphere filled with koi ponds, waterfalls, and even friendly parrots that make the entire property feel like a hidden oasis. The location is unbeatable—tucked right on Mission Bay with a private sandy beach, yet just a short stroll to the ocean. Whether you’re looking for relaxation or adventure, you truly get the best of both worlds. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and many offer breathtaking views of the bay or ocean. I especially loved waking up to the sound of the water and enjoying coffee on the balcony. The spa is exceptional—peaceful, professional, and the treatments left me feeling completely refreshed. Dining on-site is also a treat; the food is delicious, and watching the sunset over the bay while enjoying dinner is an experience I’ll never forget. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Every interaction was warm and genuine, and I felt truly cared for during my entire visit. Between the tropical gardens, beachfront access, relaxing spa, and incredible service, the Catamaran is more than a resort—it’s a full escape. I can’t wait to return and would recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect San Diego.
- 5/5
Wonderful water features with fish, ducks and exotic birds!
- 5/5
Terrible room overlooking the laundry in the tower. Moved to a bay view suite and paid for the upgrade. Be careful what you book!
- 3/5
I did not get the resort customer experience I was anticipating. 1st valet were not attentive and sadly were understaffed. We had never stayed at this property and were not aware that some of the rooms required you to go up a flight of stairs and there were no elevators in these buildings, which was a problem for us considering we had a baby with a stroller so everytime we left and return we had to climb up the stairs with a lot to carry. Upon arrival and when we realize the issue we went to front office and asked to be moved to a ground unit but unfortunately nothing was available and lady said those units are accommodated upon request but we didn’t know that. The condition of the rooms were ok. What we did like was the pool and huge hot tub, that was great especially return from being out and about. We also like that it was pet friendly. There are a lot of restaurants walking distant.
- 4/5
It was centrally located
- 5/5
I love the location of the hotel. You have easy access to both Mission Bay and the Pacific ocean.
- 5/5
Beautiful resort with a Hawaiian motif. Amazing lush gardens with hundreds of palm trees & tropical flowers, koi fish pond, and parrots!! Bay front location with lovely views and walking beach trail right in front of the property. Bayfront suite Room #508 was clean, modern with the bedroom separate from the living room. Great pool & jacuzzi, Oceania cafe was great, Lava Java coffee shop was convenient. Staff was courteous & kind. Hotel is on the bay and directly across the street from Pacific Beach with the many surfers and beautiful sunset. Parking is $$$. Highly recommend!!
- 5/5
Hands down best resort!!! Beautiful property and location. We started in one of the one bedroom, bayfront suites and it was perfect. Staff was super friendly, property was nice and clean. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
- 4/5
We celebrated our friend’s 60th birthday at the resort and had a pleasant stay. While the hotel’s interior feels a bit outdated, its San Diego location is excellent. Ian at the front desk provided outstanding service and made us feel very welcome. Our room was spacious and worked perfectly as the main venue for our small gathering. Overall, the staff and room size made the celebration memorable despite the dated look of the hotel.
- 3/5
Roof was terrible, extremely outdated and felt musky. Constant condensation in the room. The property and location is wonderful though.
- 5/5
I loved staying at the Catamaran! The location is amazing and walkable and the amenities were very enjoyable.
- 5/5
Lovely hotel, great location, very family friendly and great facilities!

- 5/5
Loved this hotel! It transported you to a jungle paradise while staying there. The rooms were a good size with everything you needed. The pool was small but fun and although we didn’t use it the bay access is nice if you wanna sit in the sand! Super easy to walk around PB and mission beach. Lots of good places to eat and drink and of course the beach is right there! The staff was very friendly and helpful! I would recommend this place to anyone that wants to stay in PB!!
- 5/5
Beautiful property with great amenities. On the bay, but easy access to ocean.
- 5/5
Very nice check in! Lovely atmosphere with lots of plants, animals (ducks, fish, birds and turtles) and a friendly staff.
- 5/5
Loved it.
- 4/5
On the evening of check in we decided to have dinner at Oceana. After we were seated we waited for 30 min to have a server take our order. They were not that busy and all the wait staff avoided eye contact, so it was very clear they didn’t want to serve us. We left and had to door dash. That was a big disappointment for a restaurant that had a great view.
- 5/5
It was amazing! Lots of activities to do and beautiful view of the beach. Staff was friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
Everything was great except we didn’t get our room cleaned the first day and we were out of body wash the whole trip. Parking seemed a bit high especially since you had a resort fee as well. Pool is small with not enough seating. Restaurant staff were all friendly and food was good. Loved being able to walk to the beach.
- 5/5
Loved being close to beach. Hotel staff was amazing. But the hotel itself needs a refresh. I don’t think the rooms have been updated since it opened. It’s clean but a remodel would be so nice!
- 3/5
Great location on Mission Bay. Enjoyed bike rentals and paddleboard rentals in front of the hotel. Tower rooms were very old, curtains were ripped, sliding doors very loud from other units. Adequate lodging, but felt old and musty.
- 4/5
The Hawaiian theme was great. Lush and beautiful. The convenience to the beach. Parking was great. Friendly staff and guests.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Would definitely recommend and I will be back when visiting SD
- 5/5
We had the best time! The resort is beautiful and very clean! Our room was perfect with a garden view overlooking the coy pond. The restaurant and staff were incredible, we will definitely be back soon! A big shot out to the manager Roman who went above and beyond for our family, extremely impressive!
- 5/5
Took the family for a vacation plus in was my sons birthday. He had a blast! As soon as we pulled up he was excited about everything, from the pool and arcade to the huge room and view. And he slept like a baby, as a matter of fact everyone did! lol Being in the industry as well I have to say that everyone of the staff members were A+. The valets that helped me with check in were top notch, and got tipped $20’s. Best time I’ve had in a while. Will definitely be back!
- 4/5
Loved everything
- 5/5
This was our second time staying here . First time in a ground floor room. We loved it.
- 5/5
This is a beautiful resort in a prime location. Just walking the beautiful grounds was relaxing. Service at the restaurant was slow but the food was excellent. The rooms are somewhat dated but spacious and well maintained.
- 3/5
I like that we were able to walk to the beach. The boys enjoyed looking at the fish. The restaurant onsite was good but didn't like that you had to make a reservation in order to eat. We had to wait an hour before we were seated. Ther room was okay, but the bothroom was so small. The tub looked like it was dirty or needed fixing. When we went to check out my spouse had to call someone on the phone twice to get someone cause they were not at the front desk and its suppose to be 24 hours. I didn't like that we had to pay extra daily fee. Didn't know this until we checked out. Vending machine on grounds only took cash even though there was a credit card reader on the machine. The only cash it would take was change. Nothing on the grounds to purchase items later in the night from the hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at Catamaran Hotel The ocean views were stunning, and my room was spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel at home. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals . The pool area was relaxing and beautifully landscaped. Overall, a perfect getaway! Highly recommend!
- 4/5
I love the Catamaran, it's my hotel of choice on mission bay. We are a water sports family- kayak, paddle board, sail, bike, surf...it's close to everything, very convenient to bay and ocean, but honestly, I have only visited in spring and fall. Summer time is great if you have small kids but for me it was just a little too busy and too noisy in our 1st floor oceanfront suite. For $3000/3 nights, 2 of the 3 days we were there, the water view was completely obstructed by setting up for their Thursday and Friday night luau. Hammering stakes, setting up a stage and unfolding chairs and tables and putting up "fencing".... STARTED at 715 am!!!, the view of the water and bay were obstructed by the tiki fence built around the Lua area. I tried to walk out on the cement pathway in front of our room # 516 to get to the restaurant and was told the path/sidewalk was only open to the folks going to the luau. I would have to go back to my room and walk out the rear door and access through the restaurant through the lobby......
- 5/5
The check in staff was lively. The young man that checked us in was nice and informative. We were extremely happy and surprised by the amazing upgrade. We will be back.
- 4/5
Restaurants were convenient and delicious, but very expensive (including the Coffee bar). Internet was shotty, but overall the location was spectacular and the daily activities for the kids were a hit.
- 5/5
The property staff team is awesome. Everyone seems to enjoy their job.
- 5/5
So many good things to say about the catamaran. Our kids loved the property with fish and all the birds, plants and overall ambience. The onsite restaurant was delicious! They accommodated our need for a crib. We will definitely be back!
- 5/5
Great environment
- 5/5
GREAT location and lots of options! Stayed for 5 nights with my daughters, aged 12 - 20 and this was perfect for all of us. The bay is great for lying on the sand and paddleboarding was a blast. The pool is relaxing and service is good. Extremely short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. We walked to the beach for sunset everynight.
- 5/5
Great view, great food, comfortable room!
- 3/5
Restaurant is nice, especially patio. Breakfast options are better than their dinner menu. Service is very slow.
- 3/5
The location is beautiful, but the rooms need updating. The restaurant service is slow. If anyone is going to this hotel, specifically request rooms with bay view to ensure you get what you pay for!
- 5/5
Loved being close to the beach in an area with good vibes all around. Our family really enjoyed the pool, hot tub and family game night. Stayed for a week and have nothing but positive things to say about this resort!
- 4/5

Beach Breakfast Patio.
- 1/5
There were small flies in our room before we entered our room, the room was small, the people upstairs were making lots of noise early morning and we have two small children that were awaken by the noise and the room was next to parking garage.
- 5/5
Resort is gorgeous. Our room was very warm when we first checked in, however they sent maintenance right away and brought us a fan and it cooled off.
- 5/5
This was my second time staying at Catamaran. Always a nice place to stay.
- 5/5
Need better dining
- 4/5
Staff was good, needs a better room service menu. Restuarant was not great, but adequate. All in all, a nice property.
- 5/5
It was a beautiful experience.
- 5/5
Loved the location, restaurants and lovely staff! Thank you!
- 5/5
It was an excellent stay, and we hope to stay again soon
- 5/5
The staff was lovely, the prop
- 3/5
Stay was good and place is nice, but there is a lot of nickel and diming, in addition to the resort fee. Parking $42 a day? What? Very overpriced food as well. Property is old but upkept well, employees were kind and helpful.
- 1/5
I am so disappointed with this property. Everything started with the check in, the receptionist was no nice, I paid for upgrade, I spend a good money to get a better room and I got a room with a lot of noise next to the elevator room 1151. My husband send a email to the manager , President and vice president and we never got any email back. Very disrespectful. The food was so bad, we end up going out every day for breakfast and dinner. The resort Bahia was above and beyond, better resort, better service and better food. Next time I will go back to the Bahia resort. We wanted to try out the Catamaran Resort hotel, never again!!!!!
- 4/5
First timers, staff (valet and bell). Were just great. Not a big complaint but wish the restaurant was a little better, especially selection..
- 4/5
Beautiful property and extremely helpful staff. It's great to have a wellness spa, restaurant, coffee shop, and gift shop all in the same place.
- 4/5
The restaurant on site was expensive but there are other options within walking distance. Being right on the bay is why we chose this resort and it did not disappoint. Felt comfortable letting the kids swim and paddleboard. Overall, we all agreed that we'd stay there again if we are in the area.
- 4/5
Service was excellent with friendly, professional staff, paying attention to timely responses with guest needs. However, we stayed in the tower building, and it needs a makeover. The hotel's age is hard to miss. The sliding screen door leading to the balcony was broken. We didn't bring attention to the finding because we had no intentions to utilize the balcony. The toilet bowl lacked water pressure to flush, requiring us to hold down the lever and flush twice. By the second night, we had to call housekeeping to clear the toilet. Like mentioned before, staff responded timely. Additionally, all of the furniture, kitchen appliances, and carpeting show their age. For the price of the nightly rate, we didn't feel the luxurious claim. Would we return? Yes, overall we enjoyed our vacation, and nothing beats their property's location to enjoy the PB boardwalk and bay activities.
