The room was not the one they promised. It was dark, small and noisy. The bathroom didn't have any ventilation

door to room did not lock properly, very tiny bathroom, tricky to get into the shower, glass missing from bathroom window, disappointing breakfast, not even milk available for the coffee (which tasted like water anyway)

As my room was on the first floor it was a little noisy but nothing crazy.

The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. Pleasant staff The room was so cold. There wasn't a portable heater or enough blankets. Mattress was hard, pillows so thick and it hurt our necks. No washcloths in the bathroom and only liquid soap (no other toiletries). The coffee machine had old coffee in it which had me doubt the cleanliness of the entire room. It was a pricy stay and these details were unacceptable considering the price

The staff was nice and helpful. We had to leave before 8am so we got a lovely packed breakfast with an exceptional sandwich and some fruit. The parking was nearby and easy to find. There was hot water. The room had a strong moldy smell. It appears there was black mold on the ceiling that was just covered with some paint. It was on the ground floor and the small windows were directed at the patio so we had to keep them closed. In addition, there is no AC or heating and it was very cold at night so it wasn't even a choice to open a window. We both couldn't sleep because it was so cold and the thin blanket was far from enough. The bed linen had dust bunnies all over. The bed was uncomfortable. There was a very loud mechanical noise from outside the room once in a while. Overall, I understand this isn't a 5 star hotel, but I've stayed in basic hotels before and this isn't what I expected. This is the first time ever that I actually considered just leaving in the middle of the night to stay in a different hotel.
