I liked this hotel. It's a nice room with comfortable beds, a good shower with hot water, wifi worked just fine, and there is also a nice television. It's also in a great location that's central. Felt more like a private stay since staff wasn't usually there in the lobby. It got a little too hot at night and there is also a dog that hangs out in the lobby who isn't friendly. He looks cute, but he went to bite one of the workers when I asked about him. The worker told me he was not friendly and I got the vibe to stay away. Would prefer to not have a dog like that in the main hallway you have to walk through to get out. He wasn't always there, but saw him once every day.

Mattresses are worn out. It had a large hump in the middle from sleeping on both sides.

The location is excellent only a couple steps from where andador de Guadalupe begins. The rooms were nice, the nicest thing about this hotel was the staff, the cleaning girls were so kind and friendly and Alberto from reception would go above and beyond to help us out in anything we needed. He was so polite and made us feel like royalty. There was a roof sky light right above one Of the beds making it hard to sleep once the sun was out.

The room was of good size. It was light and bright. The bathroom was modern. Everything was functional. The noise from the street was reduced to a whisper by the glazing and internal wood shutters. The bed was ok. The owner and staff were exemplary. The internal noise was awful. While I could not hear noise from the adjoining room, the noises from the hallways and even downstairs were amplified somehow. It’s not unusual to hear hallway noises, but the conversations of staff and guests would drown out the tv. I could hear zippers being zipped, alarm clocks, and every footstep. However, because of the internal noise level, I checked out about 4 other hotel rooms in the same area and this room was the BEST. I would stay here again.

Casa del Sol is actually a real Mexican house, with patios and domestic atmosphare. The rooms are big, the bathroom colorful. The localization is perfect, on the main street, close to the city vibe and quiet in the back patio. We saw colibri birds on the patio, we felt the Mexican culture. We just love it! <3

Super clean, comfy, new furniture, close to good restaurants, had all the basics, quiet, great Internet, nice smell of.Lavander. Perhaps too much Lavander.
