My room, 305, had a continuous loud noise coming from vents and it made it very hard to sleep without earplugs. Did not enjoy my stay.

Location was perfect for us, the hotel is nice inside and outside. The breakfast is better than a lot of the hotels we stayed at. It is very clean. There is a fridge which is great. I had half a cup of Peet's coffee in my room and the cleaning people threw it out, and I was planning on drinking it when I came back. The one thing that made us unhappy was that the hot water was lukewarm when we took our shower about 4am in the morning the day we left. We let the water ran and it never got hot. That was bad. In addition the lighting in the room was a bit dim for working. It would have been better if there is a microwave oven.

The breakfast area was clean and bright with enough variety and quantity of food for breakfast. We have stayed at this hotel many times and the indoor parking was free for overnight guests. There was always a sign for pay parking for non overnight guests. The last time we were there was May 2025 and we were not charged for parking. We were told by the 2 young men at check in that, "We always charged for parking."

Overall, it has been one of the best stays I’ve ever experienced. It met the needs of my entire family. I also can’t stress enough how excellent all the staff members were. I TRULY felt welcomed! Thank you!

Very accommodating. Front desk person fairly new in the hospitality industry was so helpful and professional. He knew his hotel property giving us all the info regarding the excellent breakfast buffet and bar area. I will be going to more of the Hyatt hotels after this wonderful experience.

The sandwiches we ordered in the evening were excellent and tasty. We were a little taken back for the charge for parking and the fact that they didn't automatically do room service.

Everything was great. The only thing I would suggest is to add more seats at breakfast area.

On the positive side, almost every staff member I encountered was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Housekeeping, the breakfast team, and most of the front-desk staff went out of their way to make guests feel comfortable. Their kindness really stood out and made parts of my stay enjoyable. The hotel was clean and had a homely feel. I was happy to feel so comfortable and safe. However, my interactions with one front-desk employee, Kim, were unfortunately the opposite. In my personal experience, she came across as impatient and dismissive, and I noticed similar behavior toward other guests as well. It created a very uncomfortable first impression each time I approached the desk, which was disappointing compared to the otherwise excellent service throughout the hotel. If the hotel addressed this issue, I’d happily consider staying again, because the rest of the staff truly delivered great hospitality.

Very clean room, comfortable

My room was clean and quiet with a comfy couch and decent water pressure. The complimentary breakfast had a nice range of options, and most inportantly, there wasn’t a single thing that I’d critique.

This is where we stay every time we're in town. Rooms are immaculate, nice breakfast spread, and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

Probably would have rated it higher if there wasn't the mix up with my early check in. I woke up late that morning so I rushed to check in early only to be told that they couldn't accommodate it. Keep in mind, I called the morning of and they assured me there wouldn't be a problem with an early check in. Other than that, it was definitely one of the better hotels I've stayed at.

The room was super clean and the staff were very nice, professional, and accommodating. I had an amazing stay! I had a long delay for my flight coming into SFO but the staff were super understanding and accommodating. They even upgraded my room free of charge! I’ll definitely be coming back.

Overall, our stay was comfortable beginning with check-in, room condition, breakfast assortment. There was plwnty of street parking available in front of the hotel entrance saving us $12.00 +tax daily. We would stay here again.

All hotels must make sure that everything is working properly in the rooms before guests check in. We arrived very late. When we got ready to sleep it was almost midnight. The black out did not lower, so light came into the room from outside and hit us directly in the face, thus not allowing us to sleep. The room was bright because of the outside light coming in. Terrible night!

Only downside is you need a car to get to the hotel.

The hotel was very clean and the room was nice. One thing I didn’t like is that I put the do not disturb sign on my door and housekeeping took it off and still came in my room while I was not there.

Visiting family. Convenient to SFO and very clean rooms and friendly staff. The surrounding area is safe and quiet but doesn’t appear to have many food or coffee options within a walking distance if you wish to grab a bite out. Otherwise a pleasant stay. Breakfast is served and included with stay.

Beautiful breakfast buffet...wonderful size of room and very, very clean. Great parking, too. San Carlos is a great mid Peninsula location for easy access to San Francisco and to San Jose.

Hotel was very nice and conveniently located. The complimentary breakfast was great and staff were constantly replenishing the items. We ate at the restaurant the first night we were there and it was really good. I did have an issue with one of their housekeeping staff. She was rude and accused us of leaving our “do not disturb “ sign on our door when I called to ask if we could get our room cleaned later in the day. The maids were in the hall when we left that morning so we removed it.

From the moment I walked in, the open and fresh, clean environment coupled with the friendliness of the front reception was so welcoming! My room was great and I would definitely stay again. I appreciated the onsite Parking and think $12/night is so worth it. This Hotel is a GEM!

We were on the back of the hotel. The small window had obscured glass. Felt like an institution.

Overall, the property isn’t bad. The rooms we had were close to a neighboring property, so they obscured the windows in the room, which makes it feel very claustrophobic. Not sure I would ever want to stay in that room again. And if you can’t get a guarantee of having an actual window, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Room was much smaller than expected. I know area is very expensive but i was expecting bigger room for price pain ($300) no microwave no refrigerator. You must pay for parking, it is a tight garage. Ample street parking, quiet neighborhood, rooms and lobby are clean staff is friendly.

Overall hotel looked new, was clean and room spacious. However, it was an adjoining room that was VERY noisy. How can you build a new hotel with doors and walls of paper. Lots of noise in the hallway and from adjoining room. Pathetic design!

The hotel just opened in 2023, and everything still seems quite new. The windows were very well insulated so you could barely hear any noise from the road. Parking is $12 in the underground lot but there’s plenty of free street parking nearby. Excellent buffet breakfast. Overall Highly recommended.

Our stay at the Hyatt Place was excellent. The location was near the event we had to attend and also to see family. The hotel is well maintained with a very clean foyer, rooms, and restaurant area. Parking at the hotel was convenient.

Beds are comfortable, hotel is clean and in a good quite location

Not a great room layout, no mirror outside of the bathroom, and no body lotion. Decent location for our needs, but the room had a view of the street which doesn’t offer much privacy. Also, food and drinks don’t start until 5 PM. It would have been nice if it opened at four.
