    The evening staff was incredibly rude, the room was okay, beds were comfortable but aside from that the ac didn’t work, the fridge wasn’t very cold, and the chair had mystery stains and cigarette burn marks on the seat. Also there’s a $100 deposit that’s required at check in which hotels.com app did not convey when booking the room.

    Breakfast was good even though they pick it up too early I also didn’t like their there was loud noise and they call me in the middle of the night, saying to turn down my music and I didn’t have music. That’s one thing that it was really bad because the music was very loud and they called the wrong number.

    Staff was friendly and location was close to everything. I woke up with a few red welts on my legs and every day there were more when I woke up. Started getting them on my thighs and back. I checked the bedding and couldn't see much. Thought I was paranoid. Today I woke up with a bunch of bites and red welts on my arm and confirmed that I'm not going crazy. They offered me another room down the hall or to check out and they'll refund me for the rest of my cancelled stay. Didn't offer anything else besides an apology but because I booked through a third party, they couldn't do anything else about it. So my clothes are currently in garbage bags in the back of my vehicle and I'll have to find a Laundromat to wash everything. They didn't offer to cover that cost or even give me a discounted stay. But beware there are bed bugs.

    the guy for the front desk was too busy at the front door chatting with the security guard i was at the front desk just to ask a question, the guy didn't acknowledge me, so i seat on the sofa, wait for him for about 15 minutes while at listen them laughing and just having a good time. another customer walk in and he went to the front desk and started helping him. so i waited after 7-10 minutes, they started to talk about dogs, so i figure they are NOT conducting check in business any more so i say to the front desk guy "excuse me" , he replied "wait for your turn". sounded rude so i just walk away.. the other front desk stuff, i think her name is DANA & JJ WERE SUPER NICE PERSON, VERY HELPFUL STAFF. AND I WILL DEFINITELY RETURN SINCE I NORMALLY GO TO SAN BERNARDINO TWICE A YEAR TO VISIT FAMILY MEMBERS..

Breakfast was passable, as good as most hotels, perhaps better than some, especially when they only offer bagels La Quinta offered scrambled eggs,make your own waffles, coffee two different juices. The afternoon check in clerk could use a lesson in smiling, but checked us in, later staff and morning staff seemed more cordial. Biggest disappointment, was not the hotel, but rather a guest who decided the elevator was a great place to smoke a joint. Yuck

    I tried to check in early after a long drive; I called twice and visited in person once, but the staff member was not at all helpful in trying to get us a room—even though it was already 1:00 PM when I made my last call to inquire.     I didn’t like that I wasn’t able to select my own snacks. That section was off limits to guests and a staff member had to tell/show you what they had available. Me and my friend felt like two little kids looking at candy in a candy shop. You also have to pay for everything when you check in and the $100 that is usually used for incidentals is more for if you damage anything in the room or remove any items from the room that are hotel property. I was not able to use the $100 for the snacks I purchased.

    The staff "Scott " was incredibly rude to us when we checked in. We politely asked if our deposit was refundable and he rudely repplied, "obviously," as he shook his head in a condescending way. Later that night afrer i checked in i asked if i could get an extra blanket and pillows. He said he couldn't give me any until i told him how many people were staying in my room.     The staff "Scott " was incredibly rude to us when we checked in. We politely asked if our deposit was refundable and he rudely repplied, "obviously," as he shook his head in a condescending way. The room seem dirty and unkept, sinks had something brown in them around the edges and something brown splattered on the bathroom sealing. Hair on the towels and stained blankets. There was a strong smelling coming from the AC unit and to be honest, I didn’t think switching the room would help based on all the issues. I waited until we checked out before leaving a review, didn't want any issues with this staff. Breakfast was never really there any time we went so just bought something from around the area. Best of luck staying here if you need more space or a clean area. Ugh!!!

I can't imagine they are simultaneously cleaning every room. I get the rules, but it should be changed to not be an option on third parties to set correct times you're able to get into a room.

    Upon checking in, we met a very friendly worker. However, when we returned to the hotel around 4 p.m., we encountered a bothersome worker who was also bald I did not catch his name. He kept staring at us and seemed to be annoyed when I asked for the ice. When we bought some water, we noticed his attitude becoming somewhat rude towards us. I couldn’t determine if it was because we were Hispanic or something else, but he continued to stare at us. When we noticed him, he asked, “Are you guys staying here?” in a very rude manner. We responded, “Yes, we are. Why would we be here if we weren’t staying in the hotel?” He replied, “You would be surprised,” but his behavior remained rude even after my sister and dad went downstairs to buy snacks. If it weren’t for this one worker, I would have given the hotel a 10, but unfortunately, his behavior made it a 7. I never felt so uncomfortable in a hotel as I did that day. Thankfully, the next day, he was not there.

    I would love to stay on the third floor. Because, the last time, I rented a room, it was on the second floor and I did not get any rest/sleep due to the room above mines, walking throughout the night. I was sooo tired at work the next day. I mention it to the front desk prior to checking out early @ 1:30pm., because I could not bare another night of not resting, heavy walking throughout night. So I drove home. I'll request a room on 3rd floor next booking.

    I’ve stayed there 3 times in the past few weeks, I love that it’s close to where I have to go in that city, I love the rooms, the cleanliness and the amenities. The only thing is that 2 of the 3 stays, one of the ladies that are in charge of the breakfast area is kind of rude by shutting down the waffle machine like 15 min prior to the deadline, she’s wiping down the counter as you pass and almost feels like she’s gonna snatch the things from your hands to hurry you out, this last time everything was wiped down and closed down and locked a few min before 9am which is when breakfast is over. I understand there’s a time limit, but to feel pressured out is completely unnecessary. So next time I just might try a different hotel… also when we greeted her “Buenos días (good morning) with a smile, she replied I don’t speak Spanish and walked away, no smile, no courtesy nod. Of course she doesn’t have to know Spanish but she can still be nice.

    50/50 on cleanliness and customer service. The first night my room had a lot of random hairs on the pillows and towels. The man who checked me in did not seem welcoming or friendly. I ended up staying a second night but needed to change to a different room due to my last minute decision. The girl at the front was very helpful, friendly, courtesy. She gave great customer service. The second room felt cleaner. No random hairs or spots on the towels or bedding.

    My room was quiet even though it’s near Freeway it’s surprisingly quiet! Room was clean bathroom was clean lobby clean breakfast was good and they only thing I can complain about is that I was told no visitors even though my entire family lives in the area and I don’t get to see them often that through me off and the business center could not provide me with copies as I had a court date and needed to make copies I have to go to a 25 hr CVS in the middle of the night to get the copies that I needed and the CVS was in a awful part of town!

    Stayed here for one night, convenient for work. I solely based this stay due to the availability of EV chargers. When arriving, the chargers were padlocked, I assumed due to the surrounding area. The front desk was not attended but did have a staff come about 10 mins of waiting. When inquiring about charging, they said the chargers did not work although the status indicators on them showed to have full power. Had I known about this, I would NOT have chose this hotel. Their website does not have updates and caused several other issues due to this. The room was clean, however, the holders in the shower were broken and not able to hold the bottle which can be a safety concern.

    1. They gave us a room that had been smoked in, then tried to not give us a non-smoking room. 2. EV charger was locked up, but powered. They claimed it wasn't working. It clearly was..... 3. Kids screaming in the hallway at 3:30 in the morning, within earshot of front desk, for over 10 minutes. Thought I would give them another try, but will stay at Double-Tree in the future.

    For the price, best hotel in the area. I tried several, they hv a gym, pool, etc. Friendly staff, tucked away from the main street so homeless dont venture onto the property. Rooms seem small, but for work, it has everything you need.

    It was a nice clean hotel. Easy to get too, parking was easy. Enough stuff around it incase you need something last minute. The staff was friendly an helpful, i needed a small package opened an i had nothing to open it with, the front desk was kind enough to get some scissors an cut the package for me. I really appreciated that

    Was a little put off because I checked in to hotel and had previously stayed and used my husbands card to pay for room but they would not take it for the 100 deposit due to his name not on reservation I had tried previously with his name but because he was at work and would be coming lister they would not check us in so this time we put it in mine This time the deposit needed to be is card with my name with meant now I have to use my card and have a hold till after we leave in over a week they would not take cash which he gave me just in case and again we had to wait

    I always like staying at the hotel. This time I was on the opposite side of the building..not realizing the king beds were on one side and 2 queens on the other side. The king side was very noisy. Ugh. I had to get some earplugs. They weren't able to switch my room. They were booked. So I dealt with it. The rooms are always nice and so are the employees. Next time I will make sure I stay on the other side, now that I know. 😉

    I needed a place to stay while I was in town for a business training event. Needed some place close to training facility but wasn’t gonna break the back. The La Quinta San Bernardino Hotel exceeded my expectations, I mean wow. The lobby was clean and moderate, the staff friendly, the room comfortable and and well designed. The amenities were great. Overall, felt like a home away from home.

    The company vehicle was broken into, and thousands of dollars' worth of tools were stolen. I don't recommend anyone parking a construction vehicle onsite. The hotel said they can't show footage unless the police request it. Not Safe!

    Stayed 6/19 through 6/22 for my brothers funeral. First night had to ask for clean sheets for the second bed, it had hair all over when we got ready to get in the bed. By night two my daughter had 22 bites on her arms and legs, by night 3 she woke up at 3:30am showing me the bed bug with additional bites and we leftimmediately. Night clerk Andy had no idea what to do when he came in to see the bug and bites. Allie the GM called later and did approve the refund, but with my daughter covered in bites 31 to be exact and the preventative measures to make sure the bed bugs don’t transfer to my home! When already grieving is added stress! The cost savings is not worth any of this EVER!! Management refuses to give full names and calls from blocked numbers as if they do not want to be held accountable which is also a point of concern when you are dealing with an issue like this!

    The stay was just ok. The beds were comfortable enough but the bathroom had no moisturizer. The toilet paper roll was awkward to reach and tear off the paper. The room colors /design are boyish/business. We liked the coffee machine. AC worked ok. It would have been nice if front desk had made a point to tell us the hours of breakfast ended at 9:00. My friend had just enough time to get us a blueberry muffin and some eggs. Sausages were all gone. The person she talked to at the time said " we close in 1 minute" so she rushed to get the above. The price was ok but you get what you pay for. We were joking together and said that we would give them a C- grade.

    Then the hallway was probably 83 degrees, the elevator 85 degrees and the fitness room at 75. Fitness room should be down to 70 or so. Got too hot and had to leave. Other than that it was great. Plan to return when business brings me to town.

    Nope, was booked thru Hotels no changes allowed Went to room again and gound a dead cockroach on the floor between the bed and bathroom Back to front desk Said room was not acceptable And thatvsince he was issuing a new room could he accommodate the desire for a tub Again the answer was Nope Not being able to change room because i used Hotel.com will make me consider other options next trip

    La Quinta in San Bernardino was terrible. I asked for a wake up call which I never got. The front desk people were obnoxious and only seemed interested in my credit card. The refrigerator was so small you could barely use it to keep a carrot cold. The microwave as a cheap plastic broken down mess. The room was incredibly small. There was no hair dryer. They wouldn’t bring anything to the room. You had to come down for everything. The room temperature was always too hot or cold. The wheelchair access shower had a rim. So there was no easy way to roll into the shower. And their idea of “accessible” was putting me and my walker on the 2nd floor! What a dump. And I seriously don’t appreciate you advertising it without warning me of all these SERIOUS deficiencies. Never Again.

    Clean, however i don't know if it's California, but not changing sheets towels and cleaning room daily is not part of policy. I wasn't happy about that. Also the breakfast is below standards....same hot options.... under cooked sausage links and scrambled eggs. The aircon doesn't work on auto. It's like you're limited.

    Everything was good except the noise from the highway nearby and the queen size mattresses that were too soft. I got neck pain sleeping on the mattresses. Overall, I spent a very uncomfortable night and will not return. Breakfast had no brown sugar and no whole wheat bread.
