Hampton Inn & Suites San Bernardino

This Hotel has always been a nice place to stay. The price is reasonable and the rooms are good. The beds are comfortable and everything is always clean and fresh. Breakfast included is a plus.

Hampton Inn San Bernardino is always clean. The staff is friendly. My only complaint is our room AC unit was so noisy. When it came on during the night it woke us up three times. The morning coffee is the BEST in the area. We have stayed at all the hotels near to Hampton Inn. No other hotel has better coffee.

Lounge area is super nice and the staff is friendly. Rooms are clean and spacious. Parking was also great, not super crowded like other hotels in the area. Would definitely recommend this place!

Room was spacious. Mattress was weird. I laid down and it rolled me to the middle of the bed. Springs were loud when rolling over.. A/C loud . Cold room when on, room hot when off. Good breakfast.

Upon arriving front desk staff was not friendly, did not welcoming nor advised me of the amenities of the hotel. I came to find out myself that there was continental breakfast and a laundry room. Following day asked the same girl at the front desk if room could be cleaned, She would advise housekeeping. Of course room was not, had to go down to front desk to get clean towels. Told gentleman at front desk my request and he stated housekeeping only cleans every other day, yet the following day room was not made. So overall there is no cleaning of the rooms. The bed and pillows were horrible. Come to find out when checking out , there is a parking fee, would of been nice at the very beginning to know, of the parking fee.

I feel a little bad giving a bad review since some of the staff were nice, but the carpet was worn all the way through in at least one place. It could have been a lot cleaner and our bath room had a plumbing issue and smelled like raw sewage. They did move us to another room which was nice but no real apology.

The room was ADA, which I did not request or need. Thiw made the shower experience not quite what i am used to and i also felt like i was using a room that perhaps someone else needed. However, the room was spacious and very clean! The bed was comfortable and the staff, what minimal interaction we had was very friendly!

The bathtub only had half of the glass foot and a shower curtain for the other half. Weird. The shower head as very old and loose, and when trying to adjust it I felt it would break off. The bathroom had a musty smell the whole time. The TV gave us problems and we had to have maintenance come out. The side door on the east side, would not open for 2 days with key card. The 2nd morning by 9:30 am the eggs were gone and not replenished for breakfast. Even though breakfast was offered till 11am. Walls were so thin, I could hear the TV, snoring, and bathroom use from surrounding rooms.

The amenities were clean an safe but the breakfast was limited not many options to choose.

Always enjoy my stay at this hotel. The rooms are always clean and the bathrooms are nice to see touched up in the showers. Staff and breakfast are tops. The workout room is great with Precor Elipticals, Treadmills, a few machines and dumbbells 5lbs-50lbs.

I left a bag in the room by accident and the maid stole approx $300.00 of my property from the bag. When I went to pick up the bag, she smiled as she handed it to me knowing she had just stolen my property. I would NOT recommend this hotel at all. THEY ARE NOT HONEST!!!!!!!!! THIEVES

Very clean room. Breakfast was good, typical Hilton breakfast. Employees were all very helpful and attentive. Received several text messages from front desk, to ensure everything was going well. Favia(housekeeping) was super helpful and very sweet.

Great breakfast each morning! Very filling and delicious! You will find many options & 24hr coffee tea station. They have a mini convenience shop that’s 24 he as well. We will definitely consider this hotel in future.

We’ve stayed at several Hampton Inns, and this one was definitely not up to standard. The room itself was clean, but there were maintenance items that needed attention (dripping sink, broken refrigerator shelving, outlet not working). The common areas, especially the breakfast seating area, were dirty and not well maintained. The 3rd floor hallway smelled like pet urine. Staff were marginally friendly/helpful. We were told there were 3 luggage carts, but only saw 1 for the duration of our stay (we checked each floor’s hallway). We finished with it quickly, as another guest was waiting to use it. Desk staff said they’d call maintenance to find the 2 missing carts, but clearly nothing came of it if they did indeed call.

There is not much around this hotel. It is dated and showing its age. The staff was excellent, the breakfast was minimal. It was fine but would not stay there again.

The room was nice but little things were annoying. The TV had icons for all channels such as NETFLIX, PRIME, DISNEY etc. but the remote didn't work any of those. Called the desk and was told you had to log in if you had those at home. to get the channels available you had to click on the guide button. There were only about 10 channels available. Then our tissue box which they pull out about 3 tissues to make it look like a flower (I guess), was empty after using those 3 tissues. Had to call the desk again. She said we could come and get another box of tissue but she couldn't leave the desk as she was the only one there. When we went to get the tissue box she wasn't there but had left a box of tissue. these may seem like nit picking but they were things that were annoying when trying to get settled and relax.

I liked free parking and the breakfast. Housekeeping was amazing! I didn't like the fact that my shower was missing a door and the toilet was leaking. They could of gave me a better room in my opinion. However, no bedbugs, roaches, or any other bugs.

The lotion the provide smells amazing. Their were no bed bugs. The breakfast was average. Not bad. The downside the carpet had lots of stains in our room . Dirty. The staff was not friendly . Just kinda stared at you when walking by. The hot tub was closed down because the heater is broke. They will not spend the money to fix it. On the internet it says the pool is open till 11 p.m. but on property the pool says 10 pm. Durning the day there are a lot of wasp flying around the pool. Well looking up their is a wasp nest in the corner of the building. Your likely to get stung durning the day at the pool. At night the pool didnt light up . Super dark. Super jealous of the hotel next to us . The pools are right next to each other. Their hot tub worked and the pool light up beautifully. All in all i would not stay their again.

I checked in Saturday and although I requested my room to be cleaned multiple times they didn’t clean it till 3 days later. There was no conditioner in my shower and the shower and they wanted me to replace it for them didn’t have a glass door so they put a shower curtain and water still got everywhere outside the shower. And the bathroom door wouldn’t close properly. The air conditioner gave off a dirty smell so the whole room smelled bad.

The pool was closed in the middle of July- wish this information had been posted on website. The room was fine for one night. The front desk staff was great.

The hotel itself had no AC, it was extremely warm the entirety of our stay. The pool was closed. I specifically stayed here for the on site laundry service as I was there for a week but the front desk never had change so we had to walk to nearby facilities to try and get change. The elevator was broken when we first got there and we got stuck inside. The lady who answered our call in the elevator answered and heard us tell her we were stuck and then put us on hold, a few minutes went by and the elevator ended up getting us to where we needed to be but when my friend went to the desk to talk with the staff she told us it’s been having issues and she was about to call the fire department. The communication would have been nice while we were actually stuck in there, not after. She also got annoyed with us for telling her she should put a sign up so nobody else gets stuck in that elevator. Overall it was a very mediocre hotel stay. I wasn’t very impressed.

Pool and spa construction was going on which didn’t affect us at all. Bravo for keeping up the pool. However, the tacky signs around the property did not look professional. They were taped to the walls and in elevator with blue painter’s tape - and pretty poorly at that. It doesn’t cost anything to make a decent sign. Food was ok. Bacon very crisp and good. Always like waffles we can make ourselves. Eggs a potatoes could have been hotter. Not impressed with the coffee - bitter and too strong. One elevator was out of order and the electronic key lock on side door was broken. So it was a mixed bag. For the price we could handle the small inconveniences (except for noisy AC). Cleanliness and comfortable bed were the main things we needed for our overnight stay.

The stay was OK. Three nights family of three. Per their policy, rooms were to be cleaned and serviced every other day. Not once was our room serviced. After I calmely requested it to be. Need to hire more cleaning personal. To many temporary front desk people who didn't have the joy of being there either.

This property is set back off the street which helps to give it a quiet and restful feel. My room was facing the gas station at Costco, yet I didn’t hear any of the traffic activity there. Neither did I hear my neighbors in their rooms which I appreciated. So, I got plenty of peace and quiet staying at this motel.

It was conveniently located. It was also very clean.

Definitely would stay here again, called about early check in and we were checked in by 11am. Which was amazing to check in early because we had a family engament that stared for our check in time. Room was great. Staff were kind and helpful.

This is frustrating for my family with kids and pet to thrust an unasked room type on us at the last mnt. It’s too late and they know I cannot transfer to another hotel Irrespective of whose fault it is, why I as customer need to bear the brunt of the issue A pathetic and frustrating experience I have been a regular at this hotel and have reserved with Expedia few times This is the first time I see this pathetic and despicable experience

I arrived very late and wanted to sleep but my curtains didn’t close we’ll light came right in no black out curtains I had to do this so I can sleep as I had to be up very early to work didn’t tell front desk because I only had 5 hour to sleep and I drove 9 hours so I was very tired..

We requested a first floor room and appreciated receiving one. Overall, we were pleased with our stay.

Clean, staff was always available and helpful, breakfast was more than bagels and fruit. I forgot to ask for microwave and refrigerator ahead of time, so i had to always go down to the lobby to reheat any restaurant leftovers or make popcorn. I was able to get the mini fridge though. Id stay again. Access to all point of travel.
