    Cons: Was not informed we needed to use badge for elevator to open door from inside (wifey was panicking), wish breakfast was already included with fee. Felt more like it’s more convenient for people with good cash. Water bottles in room were charged if you opened them (which I get why now) Rating 8.6/10 Will be coming back for sure!

    I didn’t like how staff was rude and preferred to be talking with their coworkers than helping us. tv didn’t work at all. Staff allowed other people to be screaming and playing loud music at 11:00 pm. We diced to check out sooner because unfortunately we were unable to rest. I requested some refund for the second night I didn’t stay and all they said was I can add points. Did not offer to help at all. I felt very uncomfortable and unable to have a conversation.

    The staff was very friendly, and the beds were nice. However the bathroom wasn’t very clean there was hair on the tube and ceiling and what I pray was soap residue on the water knob for the shower, there was water in the freezer section of the fridge, the toilet sounded like the water was continuously running, the people in the next room were very loud and the ac unit was very loud. Which made it incredibly difficult to sleep.

    We always love the friendliness people we encounter when we go and are always willing to help you This time get different room, maybe with two beds, the bathroom was too small and the bed wasn't as comfortable as they normally are. And our view wasn't so great and too much smoke on our side this time we will stick towards the front side

    Everything was fine, there were room service trays with trash near elevators overnight which is very unsightly, also the parking lot requires a key to get in and out and they only gave us one key, so ask for at least 2 u less traveling alone

    Restaurant was fair- they gave me a vodka tonic with soda water- they were “out of tonic”- didn’t think I would know the difference if they gave me soda water… they said they sent someone to get more but never offered something else instead.     Everything was good but the breakfast is an extra 20 bucks and it is not worth it ive stayed at other hotels with an all you can eat breakfast buffet that was free at no extra charge and it was better than the double tree buffet breakfast. I think for making people pay an extra 20 for breakfast it should be at least good or great i would think but no the extra fee for breakfast was not worth it to me other than that the place is beautiful its cozy and just very nice and there is a bar downstairs so thats a plus. Overall a good 3.8 out of 5.0

    Great check-in (after midnight) with a warm welcome and a very helpful and professional front desk agent. I forgot his name but I hope that someone will trace this back to him. He deserves a raise and an atta-boy! A very good hire ( in a difficult labor market), kudos to the hiring manager as well.

    However, the rooms were very disappointing. They felt extremely outdated and honestly just gave off an old, uncomfortable vibe. The carpet especially felt yucky and worn, and the showers definitely need updating as well. For us, the room itself is the biggest part of the stay, and it just did not feel clean, modern, or comfortable enough to relax in. I really think this hotel has potential because the common areas and staff were great, but the rooms are seriously lacking and overdue for renovations. Updating the rooms would make a huge difference in the overall guest experience.

    Aircon was SO loud. So I either had to choose a warm room or loud Aircon to try to sleep to. Breakfast wasn't great. I ordered the avo on toast one morning and the toast tasted like it was soaked in oil, I actually threw it up. I would not stay here again.

    The room is well accommodating for a disabled guest. The room comes with a microwave and fridge however when going to pop a bag of popcorn using the microwave, we blew a fuse which took out the fridge,microwave and tv. Maintenance arrived quickly and corrected the issue.

    My stay was ok but it could have been better. It didn't appear the carpet was vacuumed, there was dust on the coffee pot, no writing pad or pen. There was also a dirt spot on the comforter. There was also something on the bathroom faucet that I cleaned myself. It was a little gross. Other than that, it was ok.

    Shortly after the power went out 11ish, I woke up gasping for air. This is scientifically proven, I was given my test results when tested for sleep apnea in 2012, my heart stopped beating on average of 12 times per minute, this is not hearsay. Sleep apnea causes severe breathing difficulties which cause the heart to stop beating. To say it was the most miserable experience at a hotel stay would be an understatement. According to a google ai search I did while at the hotel, the area of California is given a 3-10 notice by the utility company.. We should have been advanced notice and when I asked the front desk clerk why a notice wasn't given, she said we don't have the ability to do mass emails. Nonsense!

    I have dated this hotel previously. This time they put me in the east Tower. The bed was horrible. The water pressure was horrible. The towels felt like sandpaper. They do offer a breakfast, but it should be free. We shouldn’t have to pay $10 a person or I press it that I would get free at different hotels.

    We were trying to find the pool when a staff member noticed us and said, “You look like you’re trying to find the pool.” He then walked us right there. (I think it was someone from the maintenance department), but I’m not sure. He was amazing. Most associates would have walked right past us and not helped. He not only helped us but did so without us having to ask. Once we got to the pool, we noticed that the door was broken (it was totally user error). Another associate came to help us out and made us feel like we were idiots. I didn’t drive to the hotel; I got an Uber. However, an hour before checkout, I got a rental car. They waved us in and out without charging us the parking fee because we were there for a short time. I will definitely be back to this location. Everyone went out of their way to make our staycation a great experience, and it didn’t go unnoticed. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. ❤️❤️

    Above all else, in the middle of our stay, we were quite literally accused of smoking and having some kind of ash fall out a window. We were literally eating crackers.... They also mentioned some kind of smell, I had a lot of candles going to make up for the sewage smell all over, but I guess that was the wrong thing to do as well. Basically if you want to be gaslit into being told you're a smoker and get kicked out by some 6 foot 2 security guard with a cop complex. Come here. I'm five feet tall, 95 pounds and disabled, and this guy was ready to drag me out for asking about specifics. It was honestly scary, and they didn't even let me get a word in to ask what they were even talking about. This entire ordeal made me pretty sick, physically, as I was forced out of a building with no care on my ability to move properly. With no ability to speak for myself or to even suggest maybe they were at the the wrong room. Because of this, I missed picking up medications. I had to go to the doctor to make sure my heart was ok after being rushed so badly. Fairly crazy experience that left us feeling physically and emotionally ill.

    The breakfast was good and had a nice verity to chose from. House cleaning was not very good. I had a five day stay and the room was only vacuumed once and not very well that time. I returned at 3:30 pm on my last day and my room had not been cleaned, fortunately I saw someone from house cleaning and she said she would clean on her way out. I was not able to sleep due to the noise of equipment or some kind of machinery cycling on and off constantly. I texted the desk a few times and they said they would have maintenance check it out but from my knowledge they never came. I must say my stay was not very pleasant.

    The moment we get to our room, we realize the room had no ac, so for the next 2 hours we were trying to get ready for our festival in the heat (during a heat wave as well). Annoyed as we were, we had no real complaints and just thought, these things happen, we are usually very patient people. However, Sunday night at 2:30 am, we are called down by security to let us know that on their secured lot, all 4 wheels of my car were taken. How that happens with security on site is beyond me... When reached out to me by the hotel manager Megan, she does let me know that they do have a policy of no liability for the car, which I understand, this is an insurance issue. But the fact that I requested some kind of discount to my room, for the inconvenience and ruined experience, which is still something the hotel should strive for. I am met with a "I'm sorry but that's not our problem" I am saddened by this, since this was our third time staying here, and we really liked the hotel, but this is our last ever stay and I can not recommend to anyone to stay here, with this kind of commitment to customer satisfaction.

    3day stay. Our bathroom didn’t have any hot water after the first night. AC unit was loud. Elevators are small, barely fit 3 people and their luggage. Staff was friendly, lobby clean. For the amount of money they charge people they can at least have a decent pillow, hot water and give their rooms some TLC.

    My stay was okay, but there were a few issues. There was a constant clicking/tapping sound from the ceiling, especially in the bathroom, and the AC wasn’t working at first until maintenance fixed a thermostat conflict. The next night engineering came again even though it was already resolved, which showed poor communication between the front desk and maintenance. Staff were polite, but the experience was a bit disappointing.

    Terrible squishy mattress that provided no support……. I could barely move when I woke up and on the second night after I was told “all the mattresses are the same” I requested a trundle bed to sleep on hoping it would be firmer , I was charged 15 $ EXTRA when my two night total was over 500$ and I was told I couldn’t be moved to another room with a firmer mattress. Also tiny micro fridge in room and bathroom toilet ran all night. Also AC could only be lowered to 68.

    Housekeeping never cleaned the room once even though I had requested it with both the front desk and maids I saw cleaning other rooms on my floor. No fresh amenities including towels were given and it should come as no surprise, there were ants in the room. During checkout I told the front desk and all I was given was a refund for one night’s parking. I do not see me returning to this hotel in the future after what happened. There’s no excuse for a room not to be cleaned, especially when it was repeatedly requested. What am I paying for?

    Staying here for last 10 years. The facilty has kept the hospitality standards up, including at challanging Covid-19 times. You have to pay extra for the parking, which I would for safety. These days, the bar and the breakfast buffet are the highlights. You might get reasonable deals through Expedia. Will continue to be my place to stay at in San Bernardino.

    But with San Bernardino, first room had stains on the headboard the sheets and the floor are requested to switch rooms after they offered. Second room beds were great everything was clean except the door didn’t lock, the TV was staticky , and there was no hot water in the sinks. So then I got a third room the door locked. One of the beds had sheets that wasn’t as clean to me so I switched those but everything else was good and clean. I give this place a two for the lack of cleanliness for the sheets and the door lock not working and no hot water. But, the agents were very helpful, pleasant and accommodating. So if you have any issues, they are willing and able to accommodate you as quickly as possible and work with you. I appreciate that. And I do like how parking is free and secured. The staff didn’t remind me that breakfast was served for free, if it was. So I didn’t experience the breakfast. Liked various options of food around hotel and close to freeway. Good central location to malls, restaurants and community events like Festival of Lights.

    Stayed for 6 nights. We didn't read the fine print for the reservations so breakfast was not included. Two rates based on weather you wanted breakfast. They wanted to charge us ~$19 per person per day for their breakfast. Second, the room was only cleaned 3 times out of the 6 we stayed. We had to ask the front desk for clean towels and for the trash to be picked up. Third, absolutely no amenities in the room. Not even a pencil or piece of paper. WTH. The bathroom had a single small soap bar for three people for three days and only 1.5 rolls of TP. Again had to go to the front desk for that supply. We will NEVER book another room at any Double Tree (or Hiklton) again and have related our experiences to friends and family. Bah Humbug

    The room was decent and the staff was very nice. I didn't like that the parking was open and we saw a unhoused person digging through the trash. We came back late from our event and I did feel unsafe walking from my car to the door to the hotel. Could use more lighting and I was told there was security but I did not see anyone outside. Everything was good except for the parking, if I was traveling alone I would have definitely have been scared walking alone from my car to the hotel entrance near the parking area. Luckily I was with my husband, but this should be something that is addressed especially since it is a bit of a walk from the hotel door to the parking area.

    Upon check in, we were greeted by the most friendly and enthusiastic employee named David. He was very friendly and inviting, and speaking with him during the check in process was like talking to an old friend! He accommodated our room type & location request and made sure we were on the top floor. Our room was cozy, clean and comfortable. We also interacted with Refugio, who was also friendly and helpful and had a great personality just like David. Both of these wonderful men were such a breath of fresh air and a pleasure to have met! This is our 2nd stay at a Doubletree by Hilton & I have to say, employees at both locations have been top notch! Thank you for an enjoyable stay & keep up the good work ! Merry Christmas !!!

    We did not to get our breakfast that was included. Doors were closed we checked out at 10am and there was like some kind of trash on our bed while under the covers. The pressure to the shower was none. We’ve stayed many times and this was not good this stay

    Reported the elevator broken 5 separate times over 3 days and each time it was ignored. The restaurant in the hotel could not accommodate eight people at a table or tables pushed together so we had this sit on a bench against the wall like we were in a Denny's. Not a Hilton restaurant experience.

    Placed into the incorrect room. Then when placed into the correct room after a lot of confusion from front desk staff, the appropriate room had no AC for the first night. When seeking compensation for the first night I was accused of lying about the AC despite the maintenance person having to get into our ceiling to fix it.

    Rooms are filthy. The wall had a stain that appeared to be blood. The carpets are dirty, dusty/stained and not vacuumed. We stayed for 4 nights - the room wasn't cleaned during our stay. The bathroom pretty much floods when you take a shower. The shower curtains aren't long enough to go over the tub and shower head isn't adjustable so water soaks the curtain, drips/slashes onto the floor. The bathroom floods and water runs out to the closet area. We were having to use multiple shower towels every time we showered to soak up some of the water and avoid slipping. No solutions were offered other than providing tiny plastic bags to put soaked towels in. Which I didn't use because they weren't big enough. It was a huge disappointment, inconvenience and safety hazard.

    Hiving it one star for the following reasons.! The front desk guy was a dbag..! He tried to swindle me into paying for parking even though there is free parking on the side of the building by starbucks he even went as far as well if uou get towed its not our fault..! The toilet kept running the hanfle was messed up the sink faucet was dangling the pool was dirty and needed cleaning..! For being the double tree it was bad..! The Montebello dounle tree is way better …!!

    The first 2 nights, only lukewarm water in sink/shower. Thursday there was no hot water at all (no shower). Let run for 10+ minutes. Notified front desk, left room, and hot water was restored and working that evening. However, trash from bathroom was left on counter and bed not made (prob due to off schedule maintenance). Positive comments…desk staff was great and found the lobby very festive. Did not have time for breakfast and did not visit on-site restaurants.

    The room was a good size and in good condition, walls were pretty thin I could hear the guy every time he cleared his throat and various noises. The toilet could have been cleaned it had small remnants of the last guest in the bowl and all surfaces - door knobs, handles and etc. could use a good wipe down and sanitizing. Overall, I would stay there again, plus it's dog friendly. I would suggest a doggy station with dog bags and a trash can out the main side entrance there's a ton of poop in the grassy areas.

    It took the bartender more than 10 minutes to acknowledge me, one of the bartenders was right in front of me and did not even do eye contact, I was super hungry, did not say anything until another bartender nicely approached me. On top of that there was some pluming happening in the room next to mine and all the dirt from the pipelines went to the toiled and sink of my room, that was very discusting, I had to call the front desk to send someone to clean... I was receiving text about my stay and I send the video of the dirty floors as well as pics of the sink and toilet, they stopped sending me any kind of message.

    I drove 29 hours from home got to the hotel to check in and got to the front desk they told me they have no AC in one part of there hotel said the part where there is AC working they already moved all the other customers in there and there is no more available. That is very unprofessional they could of given me a call or any other customer that had a reservation because i came a very long way and had limited funds to go book another room elsewhere. And have to wait for my refund because i could not stay there with no AC how would you even think that someone would want to stay in a hotel with no AC especially in California heat crazy. Just very unprofessional no communication or common courtesy to there visitors driving far.

    I liked the property and the pool was good jacuzzi was ok but the main problem I had was the power went off and we missed out on several hours of enjoying our room the day we were suppose to check out. Would have extended our stay if the hotel would have compensated us for not being able to do anything for 4 hours.. They said no compensation due to the power outage and that SCE Edison was responsible. They were rude and condescending about it. We checked out and left. Not good hospitality and would have even accepted points. Or just an extra 4 hours to check out. Hotel wasn't crowded cause everyone start leaving during the blackout and we weren't the only guest asking for some sort of compensation. Many guest asked. So 👎 because of the insensitivity about the situation.

    I thought this was a 4-star hotel but I was wrong. It feels unsafe because as soon as I get to the front desk, there was a not sober person badgering the front desk. There was no security guard at 10 pm there? That person kind of followed me around a little bit on my way to the elevator, which freaked me out as you can imagine it’s late at night there was not a lot of people there. The room doesn’t feel clean. The AC was so loud like a motorcycle. The breakfast was not included even thought this website makes it seem like the breakfast is included. I had to pay $20 for the breakfast buffet and the choices were not that good. I’m there for a business meeting but did not enjoy the stay.

    The carpets have stains, the hallway was really dirty although my room was clean except for carpet stains and the orange chair was really worn and broke down looking. Also, super dim in the rooms, bathroom fan didn’t work so it got steamy and couldn’t see the mirror. Staff is AMAZING though!! They’re really the very best. Also bed and pillows were super comfy and water was nice and hot.

    We reserved two rooms for one night. Check in went well and customer service was exceptional. One room was in need of some updating - the vanity area was falling apart, nails sticking out of wall to give just a few examples. The other room was in good shape but I found hair on the pillows and blanket and sheet as well as in the bathtub faucet, wall and soap bottle. We checked in super late and by time we noticed we were too exhausted to say anything so luckily I brought my own comforter and used that with no pillow for the night! For the cost, both rooms should have been excellent. Also I immediately had an upset stomach after eating a few bites of eggs, potatoes and bacon from buffet. Finally, the restroom in main lobby had 2 stalls with dirty toilets.
