The staff was nice and worked with us. The property location wasn’t the best. A lot of homeless people sleeping and walking around. We stayed for 2 nights and each night we saw a pack of stray dogs roaming around. They were friendly and honestly probably only came back the next night bc we feed them some scraps. We did not have towels or any linens in the room and the shower didn’t seem to be cleaned and there was hair all over the bathroom floor. The price was very cheap for 2 nights but you get what you pay for.

That the ac actually worked. It was very muggy smell in the room, the door didn't have a top lock, the room itself was just gross, the lighting was horrible, and it was in such a horrible location.

The cost The cleanliness and sanitation of the bed, bed sheets and pillows. As well as the furniture/single sofa. Had brown, yellow and black stains. They did however accommodate to my liking a bit but still came back with sheet and pillow cases stained. I did not want my family to experience and possibly catch something due to those unfortunate circumstances.

The location was excellent easy access off the highway. I really enjoyed my stay most of all I was able to park my truck and trailer full of tools right in front of my room in a parking lot that is completely burglar board. There’s nothing I did not like this is the place security is the best I really enjoyed

JUST AWFUL! No bolt on door…just one basic lock. Damage everywhere. Needs deep cleaning desperately! Sketchy area! Girls didn’t feel safe they left and found another hotel.

This place is great especially given the prices of the rooms! It is extremely clean, has ample parking and the staff is amazing! I had family staying at the Laquinta inn down the street and they had nothing but complaints (dirty, no hot water, staff rude, etc) but I had none of those issues here! Actually the opposite! Always hot water, extremely clean room, fresh towels daily AND the staff was nothing but accommodating. I had issues with my room key and had to go over to the office a few times to deal with it, but instead of getting frustrated with the situation the concierge always took great care of me with a smile. I cannot recommend a better hotel to anyone coming to San Antonio, especially if you’re attending a BMT graduation!

great value motel. exterior may look concerning, but area is quiet . Parking atea is enclosed and very well lit. Rooms are aging, but nice. will definitely stay here again in the family suite.

I don't know how this place got the 8+ level ratings it did. It is a dump. In 30 years I've only come across three locations, including Pinn, I found to be unsatisfactory. The rooms look nothing like the photographs. I did not feel safe in the location either. Although the staff was courteous.

They have window units and the air worked well after a while. Beds were not very comfy and we ended up checking out before midnight. People just hanging out outside and it was a bit sketchy. The room is very small. The staff in the office was not very friendly.

The rooms were very very clean. Lovely lovely people who run the place. They were very helpful. Only thing was that we needed was shampoo, but next time I'd ask at the desk.

Nothing It smelled musty and the bathroom smelled like pee. The bed was hard. When I went into the room it was so cold and the heat would only come on for 45 seconds every hour. The only positive was that I didn't see any bugs or rodents. The television remote did not work.

The room was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for my trip and easy to find. The Wifi and other amenities was very good. I would stay here again in the future. Maybe some free breakfast options like cereal, oatmeal, toast, and coffee. The light in my room flickered and could use some adjustment or replacement.

Bed sheets were stained, complained and ask for another room. Other room was the same, dirty or stained sheets. I tried to sleep but body was itchy so at 1AM I got up and drove to a Pilot Truck Stop and parked my truck and slept in the truck.

Check-in was fine. The room was overall clean. The bathroom needed more attention. There was a long haur hanging from the towel rack that wasn't mine! The kitchen was not equipped wuth any cooking supplies or eating utensils. They did allow us to check out past 11am though. Safe and quiet area.

My experience with this place was dirty linen, dirty towels, a toilet leaking from the base, and ceiling paint or something all over the bathroom. We were relocated to three different rooms, but they were all in deplorable condition, uninhabitable, and unsanitary. The A/C was turned off since the rooms had been unused for over a month, according to the owner. The customer service was subpar; the owner became defensive whenever we pointed out that something was broken or dirty. We ended up leaving for another hotel, only to lose all the money we had paid for two rooms. In addition to all of that, the place doesn't look safe.

Property should have been a 2.0 at the most. They show it as an 8.4. Ridiculous. Very old, unkept building. AC rattled, shook the whole wall. No water in ‘kitchen’ sink. Dirty dishes in cabinet. Went to office for tp, and no one would come to the office. Rang buzzer for 4 minutes straight. Showed a breakfast. No breakfast available. Would not refund when I brought this all to their attention. Would not stay here again.

I have to get out immediately. I cannot expose my kids to a place like this. How is possible the Hotels.com have this kind of hotels (motel) listed? The shown photos do not speak about the quality of the hotel. Dirty, towels awful, no telephone, the host disgusting, the room smell bad.

I got the room because of proximity to the base. It was so dirty my grandparents who also stayed in the room decided to leave after about 10 hours. Pubic hair on and in shower and something that looked like blood spatter on the inside bathroom door. Mold and just nastynest in grout and around the tub.

My only complaint would be that the shower did not get hot water, it was a "cool" shower, and the sink in the bathroom did not get cold. I would definitely stay at Pinn Road Inn and Suites again if I visit San Antonio.

Rooms and staff were excellent! The surrounding area was sketchy. A lot of foot traffic. The staff did monitor the parking lot to ensure the safety of their guest and guest property.

Checked in very late to a room that was dirty with a vomiting child and a baby who licks and touches everything. See pics attached - wiped filth from kitchen counter on baby wipes. Decided to stay 1 night because felt bad that we woke up desk attendant to check us in and who wants to have an argument at 3:45 am. Also trying to be decent thinking it’s too late for them to rent to someone else. Next morning came down to lobby very calm and said this isn’t going to work it’s dirty and old and the neighborhood isn’t safe I don’t want to stay the last two nights with sick kids probably going to get more sick. The guy Mr. Patel I think his name is was very irritable, talking over me, getting angry. Multiple times while still staying calm myself I asked him to calm down. It seemed even his wife was telling him from behind and he rudely told her to be quiet. He blamed me for not telling him at 4 am when I told him the reason why - if I could barely get a word in with him talking over me in a raised voice. Could also barely barely fit a minivan into the last open spot. Crazy tight parking all around. Even knowing this jerk manager would not refund us we left for safety and salvaging the trip. Prefer stay as far away from this jerk as possible. Third party did his job for him and have partial refund. Save your money stay away.

The area around the motel is not great. It's not bad, but it can be a little concerning. The motel has no control over this and to their credit, their property is clean, well maintained and very nice. The room was large, clean, very well maintained and excellent place to sleep at night.

Just didn’t feel safe so we didn’t even stay went to different hotel. When went to turn in keys no one even came out to see so I just put the thru the window

The room fit our needs for a quick visit for a Lackland AFB graduation. The room appeared clean, beds were fine, kitchen was well stocked (cookware, dishes, silverware, dishwashing liquid, etc). Everything was going well until the last night of our visit. We started getting attacked by fleas in our bathroom (didn't find them anywhere other than the bathroom). We caught a large quite a few by making a trap out of dishwashing liquid and water. The next morning, I took several fleas imprisoned in a zip lock bag to the check-in office before checking out. The owner/manager said that they would have their pest control company come out and treat the room. Hopefully that took care of the problem. Still not sure how fleas got into the room. There are no pets allowed at the facility, nor did we see any while there. Unfortunately, we had to spend time treating our luggage and washing/drying all of our clothing to make sure we didn't bring any fleas or their eggs into our home after the trip.

We weren't checked into our room for more than 15 minutes heard 5 gunshots right outside our door. Didnt even unpack. Disgusting and unclean, bed sheets were dirty, there was wads of hair in every corner and the drywall had holes and was falling off the wall. This place should be condemned. Do not stay here!

The daily cleaning was very good and they always took care of cleaning everything and bringing clean towels every day. The stay was short, but I recommend it. The staff is very friendly.

The room was very spacious and clean as well. The kitchen was beyond expectations. All the necessary utensils were there with a nice 4 gas burner. I stayed for 4 nights and the housekeeping guy came everyday. The staff was very helpful and available all the time. In all, I had an excellent stay and would recommend it.

Older the advertised. Not close to anything. Coffee maker did not work. The bed was old and lumpy. No blanket, only and thin sheet and bedspread that was old and tired looking. Flooring was uneven and there was 4 different styles of flooring materials. lighting was partly florescent and the lights over the bed did not work. Light switch for kitchen area going to the bathroom was behind the refrigerator. I didn't use the kitchen for cooking so can't report other than it was very dated.

So yes I said here for but graduation and initially it looks rough but it has everything we needed! A bed, working shower, a full sized fridge, microwave, a whole sink for dishes! And everything was very clean. I’d recommend it for the price and distance from base.

The outside of this place needa work but the room was clean and the staff was very friendly. Was.not in the best part of town but we felt safe. Overall i definitely would stay there again.

Stayed here for my son’s BMT graduation as I just needed a place to sleep near by. They helped me with everything I asked for. Great customer service!

The staff were VERY nice!! The floors were sooooo dirty my feet were black within minutes. The place was VERY rundown. Even the bedding and pillows were extremely old.

The breakfast included consisted of two cereals and milk. So something to think about when when planning. The kitchen has dishes and pots and pans so that is helpful. The first room wasn't great, but they quickly gave us a different room that was in much better shape.

The hotel was beautiful. The room we stayed in was clean and made us feel at home. The staff was wonderful.

Worst hotel that i have stayed ever. Rude owners. Place had a smell and floor was sqeaking

Basic but does the job. Staff helpful and pleasant.

Room was okay... First room they gave .. a/c not working... Had to move to another room middle of the night... Hastle. In another room the shower handle broke and no hot water. Room key not working couple of times. All these time the people in front desk or other helpers not very courteous at all.

Reasonable choice for visiting Lackland AFB, especially BMT graduation. Convienent location. Inexpensive, no-frills. Loud air conditioning. Fair value for the price.

Check in and out were quick and friendly. Lobby is the size of a closet. Breakfast is less than the basics. The area is absolutely sketchy. Some of the guests were sketchy as well. We were concerned staying one Friday night, but us and our vehicle survived the night. The AC eventually got cold and was loud enough to block any outside noises. We booked a suite with a kitchenette on the upper floor,but instead received a ground floor room with just a mini fridge and a microwave. Floor was dirty. Furniture was torn and tattered. Bed was stiff and lumpy. Shower had good temperature and pressure. Everything worked but could use many updates and refurbishments. Not worth $100 a night, but it served it's purpose, and we survived but do not recommend and will not return.

We stayed here while attending my sons graduation at Lackland Air Force Base. The location is great! Very easy drive to the base. The staff was wonderful! Very accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend this place for people bisting the base

Everything would have been fine and acceptable with my stay at this motel, however. On my second evening there, I entered my room to find a dead RAT in the sink of the kitchenette.

Get exactly what you paid for. Nothing spectacular just average not bad at all

Upon arrival, late at night, the area looked sketchy. After a decent nights sleep with the sun shining the next day, the area still looked sketchy but despite the sketch, no one bothered us and the experience was positive. My only complaint is that the continental breakfast is pretty non existent. Little debbie snacks, a couple pieces of bread and a broken coffee maker meant we had to incur more expense than anticipated going to get breakfast and coffee every morning. Even with the unexpected expenses, still more cost efficient than big name establishment

Great property to stay at for a trip in area. Good sizeable and clean rooms, friendly staff. Only comment would be the loud barking dogs we heard at night and one of our lights that kept flickering. Past that great place to stay with good value

I recently stayed at the Pinn Road Inn and had a great experience. My son was graduating from the Air Force Base down the street from here. This location was perfect. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with everything I needed. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests. Overall, a wonderful stay and I would definitely recommend this Inn to others.

Cheap, but you get what you pay for. However, the room was adequate for one night and the bed was very comfy. I heard furniture being moved in the room above us until 5:30 in the morning, so sleeping was difficult!

We came through San Antonio for the eclipse. Most lodging had jacked up prices to absurd levels. Not Pinn Road. For well under $100 we got a room with a kitchenette. It was clean and well stocked. Everything worked well and the shower pumped out all the hot water you could want. The staff was fabulous. She took care of our very late arrival, and gave us her parking spot because the lot was full up. If you need to stay near Lackland (I understand they graduate multiple classes a week) Pinn Road Inn should be at the top of your list!

The neighborhood was not good. Listened to wanna be Dom Toretto race up and down the street all night. The bathtub was busted and had a huge gap that someone had tried to TAPE up. It felt like you would fall thru so needless to say it was a very short shower.

I stayed here during my partner's graduation. It was close to the base witch is a plus. It was clean and an overall decent stay.

Clean room, the beds are very comfortable, I got a free upgrade a room with kitchen. Thanks Pinn Hotel staff definitely coming back to this place.

We didn't partake in the breakfast that is offered every day because our room had a fully stocked kitchenette and I made our own. Friendly, helpful staff! Will definitely stay here again!!
