Location to Lackland AFB. Rooms are not cleaned. Cockroaches are crawling around. Previous occupants left eyelashes stuck in the bathroom shower curtain. Molds in the bathroom. We have photo evidence. Request of refund of remaining days not used was declined.

This property is practically across the street from Lackland afb. If you need a convenient place to stay near the base. This is the place. If you want a Hilton experience, this isn’t it. Older property,but if you use a hotel for what it’s intended for as a safe clean place to stay, this is it! I would definitely stay here again ,and it has free breakfast,and access to coffee 24 hours this is a great convince when leaving very early for BMT graduation! No issues

The photos don't reflect the reality of the hotel. The sheets were old and stained, dingy towels, moldy bathroom and dusty, and the building was very old. We arrived at night, tired after a 10-hour drive. It was very unpleasant having to look for another hotel at midnight.

This place was disgusting. The toilet didn’t flush, the beds looked like they were just made after the last guy left. The doors were difficult to open and close. This place is run down. We didn’t even stay but 10 minutes before we left and found a different hotel. I wish I took pictures, but I just wanted out of there.

It was terrible. the parking lot was full of pot holes, the staff was unfriendly and rude, and the room was horrendous. i had to go get a new hotel somewhere else. there were dead bugs everywhere, and what i assumed to be black mold on some of the outlet covers. the bath tub/shower area was nasty, and i felt as if i couldn’t go barefoot in my own hotel room. i even found mouse poop right in the middle of the room, not even hidden from the cleaners or anything. Please avoid this place. I normally don’t care about crappy hotels, but i physically could not stay in this one. PLEASE save your money and look anywhere else!!

This place is very rundown. I was originally given a room in a building very far away from the office, it didn't have an ac unit in the summer in South Texas and instead a huge hole to the outside. I went back and asked for a different room and was given one with an AC. WHEN did an AC unit become optional? The sheets were clean, but everything else was worn, the walls were needing paint, there were bugs crawling (i killed 2), there was a TV but no remote to turn it on. The only plus was it's very close to the base and because there weren't very many guests, it was quiet. I would not stay again even though it was cheap. Hopefully, they're in the process of renovation

AC worked amazing!! Couldn’t get the TV to work. Loved the convenience to Lackland Air Force Base. Parking was right in front of the room. You can hear the planes at night, didn’t bother us but just be aware.

It's a good hotel for a short period. I stayed here due to an emergency I had while traveling on the road and it met my expectations. The beds were good, location was ok, and it was decently clean. It was worth the price. There was a small leakage on the roof because of the heavy rain. I just notified the staff and they said they were going to fix that.

If you are here to see your family member graduate, it’s as close to the base as you can get inside of rooms look better than the outside. Great for the price but if you want a nice place with amenities, keep looking.

The hotel is not located in a nice area; there are a lot of homeless people surrounding the hotel. It is also definitely not a "Family" friendly hotel. It is more like a quick motel. The cleaning of the floors was not great either; you could see the floors had not been mopped in a while, and the bathtub looked neglected as well.

The surrounding area is shady with some homeless but if you're not a sissy then you'll be alright.

Nothing at all It was filthy, there was a roach on the bed. Refrigerator was filthy and can of soup was left in it and the remains were moldy, the shower tiles were falling out which causes mildew, not healthy and the toilet was left with shit stains from the previous occupants. A note was handed to check out clerk with all that was wrong and signed by room 105, he stated he would bring it to management’s attention. Being so close to a military installation it should be in better condition. Didn’t have the complimentary breakfast due to uncleanliness.

This property was the worst ever. The bed sheets was black and nasty the bathtub has mold and the room smelled like mold. Property was a mess and everything was stained. The front counter was not responding to the rooms and i left and got a refund. While i was getting my refund 4 other families that had just gotten there returned to the office to get a refund as well. I had never seen such a nasty hotel in my life!

The location was perfect for me!! It's close to the base and that's why I was there. The room had the basics. The outside entrance into the room made me a little uneasy as I was traveling alone. It's right next to a bridge that had several homeless people living under it and that was a little scary. The breakfast was a joke. Bagels but no cream cheese. Nothing hot other than waffles, which I don't care for and very few other options. I spent a week there and I'm pretty sure my bed was never remade with clean sheets. There's no ice machine that I could find!!

Rooms were dirty. There was dirt all over the floor, my family also stayed in different rooms and their bed sheets were stained and so we’re some of our towels. The shower had some grime or something in it doesn’t look like the rooms get cleaned up in my opinion. When we arrived we had one already opened shampoo bottle in the shower, the hair dryer also wasn’t working I was going to call them but the room phone wasn’t even connected but the worker ended up bringing us a new dryer and shampoos. I’d recommend somewhere more neat and clean/sanitary. I was expecting at least what we saw in the pictures when booking and for it being a “nice” place to stay near the base it was the complete opposite respectfully.

Every time I needed to access my room, I would call front desk to come and let me in because the keys I was given, never worked at all, and the would also drill out the batteries to make it work

I don’t like to complain but what you see in the picture is not what you get when you get there. The first night was a nightmare because I wasn’t feel safe thinking that someone can open the door and the Entry Door Flip lock was broken. The property has potential but need maintenance.

I was very disappointed with the room first the bath room didn't smell good it smell like pee on the floor and around the bath tub had mold i got two beds the first bed i notice the sheets weren't cleaned the sheet all the way to the bottom ones the room need to be air freshener .The only reason why i book this place it was near to the air force base .They need to improved on the toilet make sure its cleaned properly and check the linens.

Probably the filthiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

Rooms are not stocked. And by that I mean I couldn't even get a paper cup for my coffee, which was only decaf anyway. I didn't get the room cleaned at all one day (not by request) and had to ask to towels. The pool is bone dry. The shower is smaller than the size of my refrigerator (NOT an exaggeration). No hair dryer. Trash and broken glass in the parking lot. Comically small breakfast options. Not even any coffee in the lobby. The AC was exceptionally loud. There were dirty linenes left outside for over 24 hours. Honestly the whole experience was pretty wild. May be close to Lackland, but would advise to stay pretty much anywhere else and drive a few minutes more.

Great place to crash for the night. No noise or disturbance. They should work on the swimming pool. was shocked to hear that they now require deposits because they never asked me for that in the past. But it is what it is. Still, I would keep staying here over and over again.

I was expecting a much nicer hotel since this was a La Quinta. It was not clean, it was falling apart and the beds were horribly uncomfortable.

The towels hanging on the towel holder literally looked like they had dried blood on them. There was small debris on the bed. The shower base was encrusted with what looked like years of lime build up. There were stains on the sheets. There was a smoke detector mount with wires in it and I could not find the actual smoke detector. Outside, the "EXIT" red lighted sign was smashed and a dystopic flashing light was going non-stop. The whole place was gross. What made me really upset was the place they went me to was a separate building. The front building looks nice. When I checked in, they had me cross a bridge and go to a separate, totally crappier set of buildings behind the front building that looked much older and nastier. Totally gross, the grossest I have ever stayed in. I didn't bother to contest it because I had to be in that location and had no time to lose sleep due to an early event.

The best thing I can say about this place is, the location was wonderful for getting on and off of the base. Other than that, a few newer amenities but most of the place is rundown. However, the room could have been a little cleaner and when I first turned on the water in the bathtub, rust started coming out of the faucet. You can work on the amenities to accommodate us a little better. No I did not report any of my displeasure’s but I wish I would have because I noticed that my face and skin started breaking out after my stay.

We had to switch rooms because the door was broken, 1 minute after entering the new room all of our feet were dirty black. We had to hop in the shower immediately and create a trail to our beds with towels so we wouldn’t have to step on the dirty floor. You get what you pay for its okay for a last resort, it wouldve been better if house keeping actually did their work.

Was located within walking distance of Lackland for a good price. Room was decent sized. Shower is small and impractically laid out bathroom. Good sized bed with stiff pillows. Good live tv options. Pool was very nice but only one was working. On my check in day I let the lady know I would need to do a late checkout and she said that would be ok. To just come down the day of checkout to let them know and if they don’t need the room I wouldn’t need to pay the fee. I go down and let a different lady know and she tells be she’ll have to ask her manager. I sit in the lobby for 30 minutes and got no response. I go back to the room and my husband calls and they say that they will not be able to do late checkout we ended up having to book the room for one more day. It appeared very clean with some wear and tear but we did find a very large roach in one of our towels. That was quite the scare.

I go back to the room and my husband calls and they say that they will not be able to do late checkout we ended up having to book the room for one more day. It appeared very clean with some wear and tear but we did find a very large roach in one of our towels. That was quite the scare.

The front desk person knew there was someone in the rr and still allowed me to walk in. The lamps were not working. No cold water after a long day in the car and in the heat the last thing I wanted was to take a hot shower.! The restroom was so tiny neither my fiancé nor I could actually sit down to do anything.

Easy access to Lackland. Beds were comfortable. Towel rack fell off the wall. Not super clean. Staff were all very friendly.

The only complaints I really have is 226 needs a new shower head the water pressure is to high for that small shower head it sounds like it’s going to pop off and high you in the head. And the door to get into the room needs to be fixed and I saw that a lot of the doors where the same it looks like someone was trying to brake in at one point and I was traveling alone it made me feel a little unsafe.

Old /Rundown. Had slam the door several times to get it to shut when leaving for events. Had daylight coming through the door. Tub wouldn't drain, No toaster for Toast/bagels. Ran out of items for breakfast and kitchen staff taking items away as guest trying to get something to eat.

The hotel is disgusting!! The rooms smell, there are no towel hooks and the floor has dead bugs. We ended up having to switch hotels. While convent to JBSA Lackland and they do an early breakfast on graduation days, overall not worth it. Find something else.

There is only ONE swimming pool, not 2 as advertised. Pool #2 had standing water in it which was disgusting. The condition of the room was equally disgusting. Here is a rundown of the conditions (see photos): - mold in the shower - human hair around the sink - missing smoke detector in room - missing fire extinguisher outside room - missing light bulbs in lamps - damage to walls (paint, drywall, etc.) - damage to floor molding - missing artwork with exposed hardware - no tissues provided - paper thin towels (rough texture) - bathroom door was falling off hinges - stains on headboard We booked at the last minute and got a good price. I feared for our health and safety.

Aside from the door not being able to be locked, and the ac unit in room 259 didnt work very well. Went out to buy a fan and a door stopper to enjoy the stay. Other than those 2 little things, over all, as expected stay. Comfortable and relaxing

It was a very horrible place to stay. Mattresses were urine stained and smelled like urine, plugs in room didn't work, etc. Front desk was no help. Pretty much just blew it off

Was asked to pay $40 extra to check-in early after an 18 hour drive. I got in the room and there was water from the air conditioner all over the floor. Duct tape on the remote control dead bugs in the bed and dirty floors, I was scared to even take my socks off or sleep in the bed, but I was exhausted and I did after I complained at the front desk. I told them at the front desk that I drove 18 hours and I was tired and needed sleep but yet they knocked on my door for the first 2 hours. People outside were screaming and hollering and smoking outside my door . I don't smoke and should not be subjected to someone else's secondhand smoke. The bed was extremely lumpy. Seems to be extremely old and overused. The Pancake batter was not mixed correctly, so no one could even get breakfast. I was told that the building was old, and they were fixing to update a few things. They did refund me the $40 extra that I had to pay. But in all honesty, the room should have been free. I will not stay here again.

Horrible experience. From the smells of marijuana to the smell of unlcleaned restrooms and rotten food in the mini fridge. The bathroom door COMPLETLEY FELL OFF wouldn’t even lock. The saftey locking mechanism to prevent intruders was completly UNBOLTED AND HANGING OFF THE DOOR so you couldn’t even use it. There was marijuana blunts on the windows of the room that were half smoked and it was a non smoking room. The shower knobs didn’t work in either restrooms it was either scoldering hot or ice cold. The cards kept deactivating causing me to get a new one almost every time I used it making every trip to my room a trip to the front desk. There was a lady in the parking lot smoking crack in her car for 2 days straight. Some of us thought she was dead but she left the next day.

We stayed here 7 years ago for graduation, it felt like the rooms had been remodeled but everything outside is in bad shape. There was a lady that appeared to live there with 2 dogs that were never on a leash and barking all the time. We did love the pool but there are only about 5 chairs that you can sit in and the tables are rotted.

Rooms were dirty, breakfast non existent . No coffee, pancake mix and no milk. We requested refund for the last two nights. Which we have yet to receive, if not received by the 11th will also result in never using Hotels.com

Place is very close to the USAF Base if your gonna see your loved ones ceremony, not bad on price but they really need to remodel the place but I guess they are so busy booking rooms they don’t have time. But the staff can do better in cleaning the rooms better.

The property was filty, the room smelled awful, i saw a dead roach under the table and there was a scopian scrawlimg in the room in the middle of the night in my room beside my bed. The room seem to have been jacked up i was in room 123 there was a mat at the front filled with dirth, grass and dust, i had to walk in water to m the room and this area is covered, green stuff everywhere, and in the middle of the night people were outside talking loudly when i had a baby with me. I was so upset my uncle rented another room and he could only stay one night because of the smell. I took photos because i do not want to be labeled as a liar. I would honestly want my money back because that was unacceptable the owners need to do better. At one point i am wondering if i was treated this way because of the color of my skin.

Definitely not as pictured sketchy neighborhood no lock on door hell no bathroom door needs upgrading and disgusting. Breakfast was a joke next to nothing for a hotel to advertise for military families this was a disgusting only plus was close to Lackland Airforce Base

The rooms was clean we just didn't have any hot water. But over all it was nice. The pool was clean also.

The AC made weird noises and very loud Bathroom is dark Cockroachs, flies, etc Gym was not working, and pool was drained and had black stuff in it. 1 positive is it is very close to the base.

The floor was warped, like a big swell in the middle, we know bc i was in a wheelchair bc i had surgery last friday. The room was dirty. The pool was down. The key too the first room wasnt working. Then the 2nd room the tv wouldnt work. And then the water pressure was bad. So i would say all in all ot was pretty bad, but i didnt get to see the room before i paid or else i would have gone somewhere else. I really honestly would just like a refund.

This hotel looked nothing like the pictures. It was raunchy motel . I was placed in a moldy room with a half broken door , hair all over the sheets . It was completely unsanitary and unsafe for a solo stay as a women.

Room was dirty! Had trouble opening the room all the time we were there! Breakfast was nothing good, only cereal and toast! Staff was not friendly at all! Roof by entrance was torn down and put aside the curb! One window panel was broken and could see it was a piece of plastic glued on! Checked out early! Very disappointed!

The property is disaster and will never book again. The room floor was wet always. Restroom was not looking good. Very old building.

Called hotels.com and told them the conditions, they called the property and said I would get a refund. Still hasn't been refunded. My deductible on my truck is $500. My stay was $350.No doubt in my mind I would have been broken into every night. Honestly I didn't even bother to see how the interior was. Figured it was cheaper to stay somewhere else.

I booked this because I have stayed in other La Quinta hotels and have always been pleased. I drove up and was greeted by a homeless community literally at the entrance of the hotel, not to mention I had to double check that it was the right hotel because it looks nothing like the pictures. The staff was nice, checked, go to my room and i just wanted to leave. It's smells moldy, lights were all off, mind you it was 1am. The AC keeps you up all night, you can hear everything and everyone. It reminded me of the scary movie hotels off the road in a deserted town in the middle of nowhere. It was clean, as best as it could be. There were no blankets, only sheets, and the pillows have seen better days. The only plus was that it was at the gate of the AFB, we were there for my nephews graduation. Like I said the staff was nice, very polite.

I was traveling with two young kids and arrived late at night, so switching hotels wasn’t an option. I was given two rooms — the first was filthy, and the second (called the “inspector room” by staff) was just as bad. If this was their best, it’s alarming. The room was dirty and poorly maintained. Toilet was unclean, roaches and mosquitoes were inside, towels were moldy and sticky, and the floors were disgusting. No microwave, no hairdryer, no iron, no hangers. The refrigerator was unplugged and smelled absolutely foul when opened. This isn’t a one-off bad room — this reflects how the property is run. What’s worse, my 8-year-old fell very ill shortly after our stay, with vomiting, chills, and a 104.9°F ear temperature. She was diagnosed with a viral fever at urgent care. I had to cancel our entire trip and drive home early. While I can’t say for sure the hotel caused it, the unsanitary conditions are a serious concern. This place is not safe for families, and I strongly question how it’s still operating under the La Quinta/Wyndham name. I urge health or inspection authorities to take a look — this property is a potential health hazard.

The hotel is in ill repair, terrible area and horrible service. No waters in the room, no anything in the room!! The shower was standing room only and had to wait for hot water for a long time. The bathroom was not clean and there were multiple hairs and “things” from previous clients. Ew ew ew. I will never stay in another!

To start, the water faucet in the shower didn't work, only hot water came out. Also, the mini fridge was leaking and mold and mildew in the bottom and it had a bad smell. There was mold in one of the walls and the ac needee maintenance since the motor had a loud noise. The room door had jamming problems. Poor quality brakefast but can you expect for the price. Lesson learned.

The shower and toilets was extremely small we literally had to step out of the shower to scrub ourselves we couldn't even lift our elbows up. Never will i stay here again toilets was the same. This property is horrendous.first thing we noticed was the homeless encampment under the bridge at the front (we also seen multiple needles in the parking lot). When we walked into the rooms there was a living roach in the bed. There’s mold in the bathrooms (include the toilet paper!). The paint is peeling off the walls. There’s no smoke detectors. Mystery stains in the bed. The molding on the floor is not even connected to the floor and then on top of that the night staff is extremely rude. Do not and I repeat DO NOT book at this hotel.

The whole stay. We stay at Wyndom properties very frequent. My wife is a state official and i am a federal officer very below standard needs to be check out. I am a platinum member would not recommend to even the dog pound

I should have read the reviews first. I was there for my son's graduating at Lackland AFB. Yes it's close to the base and convenient but this place needs help. Whatever you read it in the reviews it's definitely true. To start three first room i was given when i walked in looked like the very minimum was done to get it ready for the next guest. You can see daylight around the doors, there's mold behind the bathroom doors, food crumbs in the bed... yes in the bed! For was filthy and the smell. I went to the front desk where the worker came and opened 4 more doors for me to choose a room. He would not go into the room i was first booked. I chose a room that smelly a little better and was what appeared to be a little cleaner. There was still mold behind the bathroom door? The drain in the tub was extremely slow. The bed had a mattress cover on it. I would not recommend this place. The pictures that are posted have to be old. There's homless living under the small bridge at the front of the place as well. There was a bus that came through the parking lot at 6am with what sounded like a loud speaker picking people up from the rooms. I was awaken multiple times a night by people up stairs that sounded like they were fighting or doing whatever. I really wish i would have gotten a refund and went 7 minutes down the road to some place nicer. And I'm pretty sure they rent the rooms by the hour. All in all this place is horrible.

The staff we interacted with were very nice but the conditions here were shocking.The reception area is the only decent part of the whole place. The first room we were given had filthy floors, rotting floors in the shower area, and one hanger in the closet. The one chair in the room had a stain on the upholstery that was questionable and the security lock was broken. The room was on the back side of the building and you had to navigate a maze of enormous potholes to get there. We didn't feel safe and asked for another room. The room was in another building. This room had a security lock, thank goodness, but there was no rod in the closet so you couldn't hang anything up. The floors were not clean and there were stains of some kind of the fabric of the box spring. It's very run down inside and out. The photos posted on this website are not accurate, nor is the listing. There is only one pool in working order, not two and three is no fitness center. Supposedly it's being "renovated". I doubt that very much. There is a coffee maker in the room but if you like cream and sugar they give you a one serving packet and there are no lids for the cups. They give you hand soap and shampoo but bring your hair dryer. The first room had one but the second room didn't. The breakfast provided was passable. I'm celiac and lactose intolerant so this meal can be tricky. Contrary to what I read, there were no eggs and no fresh fruit. They do have waffles, bread, bagels and cereal however.

Linens were stained, door sticks, top lock is broken, ceiling paint peeling, mirror is cloudy, bathroom vent doesn't work, bathroom is smaller than a closet (practically had to step in the shower to open/close the door). Tv remote kinda worked. Phone didn't even work!

The front service was good. The people attending were nice. The room was ok. It felt dirty. The restroom wall is cracked behind the toilet. You can tell its old. The worst part was we were unable to sleep. It was 1-2am and other people were throwing themselves from the balcony to the pool. Making a lot of noise, cussing, yelling, there was a child crying. Overall it was terrible. At 6 am there was another lady yelling outside our room

Horrible experience due to someone at the hotel trying to continuously charge my card different amounts insinuating the room wasn't paid for.

The only thing I liked about this property was that it was close to Lackland Airforce Base. We stayed here for my son's graduation and the first night we were here, our car got broken into. Thankfully nothing was inside to take. Then we discovered a homeless camp under the bridge right in front of the hotel. The room cleanliness wasn't great either. There was black soap scum (I'm assuming) under the soap holders in showers. There is no room for privacy if staying with other people in the room. If going to the area for graduation, it's worth the extra few dollars and driving time to stay somewhere else.

The only thing good about this hotel was that it was close to the Air Force Base, which is what we were there for. The homeless around there fortunately were very friendly but a lot. No ice, phone broke and no phone in one of the rooms, both rooms Missing hairdryers, which they did bring to us.

To start off, the gym was not available, not clean at all… had to disinfect the room when I arrived. The lobby is tiny, would be cramped during breakfast. Bathtub was clogging up when in the shower. It’s set up like a motel. I understand that there are renovations being done, but the rooms that are being rented out, should be in top condition. The only good thing about this, was the staff being friendly. Some staff members were passive aggressive and didn’t want to assist. Maintenance and the cleaning staff were always readily available and happy to help. If the pictures weren’t promising when booking, I wouldn’t have stayed here in a million years.

The room had a dirty floor...there are some questionable folks wandering around and the 2nd day the property had no water. Apparently they were working on the laundry room but we weren't notified. When the water came back on, it was brown water for a very long time! It was a place to sleep and shower so it served its purpose but if I had to return, I would choose somewhere else!

I had called ahead twice asking about how to do early check in. They told us about the costs and that was just needed to call ahead. After I called ahead told them we were gonna drive from 3 hours away and needed a place for our dogs to be while we go to SeaWorld, we arrived and they said no rooms were available even though I did exactly as they told me to. So frustrating and unacceptable. We could not find an ice machine. Both the gym and the laundry room were out of order.
