Nothing special for the amount of reviews this place had. Also, pay attention. I haven’t seen “smoking” rooms in years. This place has them. Don’t book one accidentally if you’re looking to stay. Room was just ok. Not overly clean. Definitely dated. Could use some serious updating.

The space is quiet and clean and beyond a great value for the price! It was a great spot to stop over on our road trip and would definitely stay again

There were a couple of purely cosmetic issues, overall it was a great place to spend the night and I would happily stay there longer. Coffee and a hairdryer in the room which is a rarity anymore but much appreciated.

The room is clean and has nice amenities. However, the toilet was very small and any man would have problems with it.

Room is very dirty. We stayed for 3 nights and didn’t have any hot water for 2 of them. There is hair everywhere. The door didn’t even reach all the way to the floor so bugs were able to come in. Wouldn’t recommend staying here!

Have stayed many times at this location and appears to be my favorite sleeping spot in Sallisaw, Ok.

The room was clean and the staff was super friendly. The motel has some age, but it was well kept. Would stay there again.

Checkin was through a plate glass window in a 3x3 room. Toilet didn't flush right and bathroom door wouldn't close. No table lamps, just bright overhead lights.

Pleasant overnight stay. This is an older property but was updated extremely well. If we pass through the area again will stay again.

Made a reservation, I arrived shortly after midnight. Door was locked. I called and after many rings a very sleepy person answered the phone. They said they had no rooms. I asked about my reservation. They said they void them after midnight. I had been driving for nearly 11 hours and hearing this made me very upset. I hung up and went down the street to the Super 8. I didn’t have a reservation there and I got right in. No issues.

Very quiet, i like the couch in the room. Friendly check in. Coffee maker, fridge, microwave, even a diner next door. Great stop along the way.

You couldn't go inside, you had to check in thru a tiny closet like room. Then room was ok, the bathroom was small and door stuck and almost could not get out of it. Beds were very firm, and apparently in a bad area.

No frills hotel. Old but updated. Room was clean. Bed was firm but not horrible. Pillows was the worst pillows I have ever slept on in my life. They was extremely hard. No breakfast. If you’re looking for an affordable clean hotel for a night. This one will work.

Good value for momey. Bed a litrle soft. So back was a bit sore.

We had a great stay - 2 rooms, one with our dogs. Both were very clean and well-maintained. The pet-friendly room was in the older building in the back, so it was a little more dated, but it was comfortable and had everything we needed. We had 3 trucks+trailers, and there was plenty of room to park. The staff was very friendly. Would stay again.

Staff was really nice, and for an old building it was very clean! Housekeeping does a great job, definitely recommend if you need a cheap place to stay!

No frills budget-friendly motel just off the interstate. Convenient and clean. Drive up and park just outside your door. We found it a great value for our cross country work trip. Great water pressure, comfortable bed, we felt safe and secure.

Front desk gave away my room type reservation. I reserved a king size bed and upon check in (at 9pm) I was told they gave my room to someone else that walked in because they “didn’t know if I was coming or not.” I told her I had a reservation and she began to argue with me and asked when I made the reservation. I made it earlier that morning, which is irrelevant because the room type was available online when I booked it, they assigned it to me, then later that day someone made the decision to re-sell it to someone else. I was left with a room of 2 double beds. Room was sub-par and had a musty smell. Will not return.

Very nice man at check in, excellent water pressure in shower. We will definately make this a regular stop on our way through. It was also very quiet, and had a nice diner next door.

Pleasantly surprised as the room was nice for the budget price.

The room was not clean at all. Had a flea in the bed and other bugs in the room. Headboard to the bed looked like it has never been wiped. The carpet was dirty. Didn’t even have a fitted sheet on the bed.

Large rooms and clean. Nice little diner next door. Only complain is that pillows are quite hard. Will stay again.

About an hour east-facing drive to Fort Smith.

Always a good place to stay

Stadium room 160 the hot water did not get hot. It got just a little warm in the shower. It would go from a little warm to freezing cold. The people at the front desk. They said let it run a little. We let it run for 20 minutes still the same, they said it came from the other end of the building and then they said too many workers taking a shower used up all the water microwave filthy called webs refrigerator, rusty toilet too close to the wall where you’re heading the toilet paper rack housekeepers was rude. When I asked for towels will not stay at this place again I rate this place at one.

Always a nice place to stay

I've stayed here multiple times now. Everyone is friendly and the rooms are always very clean.

Started to wonder about the trains that ran through, however they didn't run during the night. Gentleman at the front desk was helpful in regards to dining facilities and was pleasant at check in. Will definitely book again if in the area again.

Older place but taken care of. It’s a motel so parking is in front of your room. No snacks no breakfast no coffee. But there is a stuckey’s nearby. Easy on off I-40. They switched out towels and made bed each day. Must say best place I’ve ever stayed for the price. I would definitely stay there again. The staff is there 24 hours a day. But you have to go into a walk through door area. Just off the lobby. Overall 5/5

Great place, clean and comfortable

For the price this was an awesome find! The room and bed were very comfortable. The motel is a bit dated but well kept and clean. For a quick in, sleep, and go it was perfect!

We would stop there again. The desk chair not in best shape but everything else ok. Newly painted and very clean. There is no breakfast but this kept the room rate down. We liked that you could park right outside your room so it was easy to move our luggage in.

Bed was as hard as plywood and curved outward, felt like sleeping on a camels hump. Room smelled of oder, pillows were so dense and oversized they were not usable, literally hard as a rock. Virtually (NO) hot water came out of the shower, and was only warm for less than 5 mins if that then went cold, pressure was terrible. Motel was nearly empty, when guest arrived they were put right next to our room when there was nearly 50 empty, the guests were loud and obnoxious, walls were so thin you could hear the conversations that were spoken at a low volume, horrible stay, we left in the middle of the nite due to all of the above reasons.

Good motel needed for a one night stay for our family of 4 (2 kids) for a wedding. Wedding location was an hour away but the hotel staff were very accomidating for a later than 9 pm check-in after letting them know of our situation. Quiet and clean.

Limited office hours. Electricity was off several hours one evening. The owners were friendly and the rooms were very clean and recently remodeled.

Just what we were looking for- easy highway access, clean rooms, and dining nearby. All at a very reasonable price. It is an older property but it is kept up. The property is next to a restaurant that offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Other options and shopping is a short drive (one exit via I-40.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The property is an older one but kept up very well. Convenient parking and there are even laundry facilities. Might be the only hotel in town and very reasonably priced.

The AC had NOT been turned on in the room and the temp outside had been 100° that day!!! It took over an hour and 1/2 to cool down enough to occupy the room. This is the SECOND that happened here. I WILL NOT stay here again. Motel 6 is down the street so I will stay there next time I come through Sallisaw.

Room is clean and updated. Water is hot and good pressure in the shower. Price was affordable and the lady at the desk was delightful.

The air-conditioning works great. The only thing I don't like is that the ice machine does not work. I was here last October and it didn't work then. Also no breakfast.

Very clean and reasonably priced. We made reservations a year ago planning to be somewhere close to totality for the total solar eclipse. They honored the original rate where others nearby cancelled reservations for the elevated rates closer to the date. We stayed 2 nights and they cleaned the room and replaced linens and towels in the in between day! Not everyone does that nowadays. We will probably stay here again sometime in the future. Pleasant staff. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Reviews are all bogus for 5 ratings. Motel 6 is renovated and cheaper with ZERO pet fees. Place hasnt been touched since 1965. Shady people going back n forth all night long. Safety bar to lock room was broken off. Wouldn't recommend.

Would have appreciated some kind of breakfast service. Otherwise our stay was excellent.

If you want extra coffee they charge extra and believe me it was not worth it. You get one in the room and could not drink it Could not figure out the shower, was late so I skipped it The chain lock on the door was broke Water pressure was weak at the sink don’t know about the shower

Room was clean, bed was soft, and Wi-Fi worked. Heard rumors of illegal activities but saw nothing. I would stay there again.

The Sallisaw Inn is comfortable, clean, and very reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I've stayed here several times on cross country trips, and have never been disappointed.

Front desk person charged us 10$ more than the confirmed rate on hotels.com. Refused to move us to a non-smoking room, despite the hotel being virtually empty. Only overhead lights, no bedside lamps. One light would not turn off at all. No chain or safety latch on door. Bathroom toilet seat and tub had weird stains. Sheet discolored and burn holes on blanket. No Wi-Fi..

It is a clean, basically a sleep and drive motel. I liked the $15 late check-out. It was close to our destination and the staff was great.

This is my go-to choice of motels in the area on my trips from NC to NM and back again. I've stayed there four times so far, and it is a reliably friendly, clean, and quiet place to stay, with a good Mexican restaurant almost directly across the street.

The establishment was outstanding in all areas, and the desk clerk on duty was very friendly and professional.

The rooms are very large and spotlessly clean. Easy access from I-40. This is my third time staying at this motel, and I've have the same excellent experience all three times. There is a coffeepot in the room. They don't serve breakfast, but there is a 24-hour breakfast restaurant just next door.

So much betterthan I expected. Room was clean, great water pressure and hot water. Ac had the room cool in under 5 minutes. Would highly recommend this hotel to folks traveling theough the area. The gentlema who checked me in was very effi ient and the whole process was under 3 minutes

The manager did say it was the biggest spider hes seen in a while, and gave us some towels to stuff in the holes (bc tape would be too destructive.) The door is swarmed with swamp insects when you open it. I honestly i just expected "a little gem" like the other reviews statwd but please...take the reviews seriously that mention dirty dank room and bugs. Why would we stay at a dirty motel instead of a fancy hotel if our standards were higher than dirty cheap swamp motel? Well, traveling cross country with a moving truck, and my wife was too tired to keep driving. We took our chances based on these amazing stellar reviews. Soup all night awaken by bugs, maybe an hour of sleep. I call expedia to file a complaint, the manager/owner calls.me several tiimes blaming and threatening me, saying you should of left in the middle of the night then! Said his rooms were clean, no holes.lol. No more room to write. Youve been warned.

From the outside the hotel looks a little run down and outdated but we enjoyed our stay. It seems to be family owned and the person checking me in was super nice and gave food recommendations for surrounding area. Hotel is pet friendly which is what we were looking for. Great place to stay if you’re passing through this small town.

Very dirty and run down. Person who checked me in was wonderful, but the person later in the evening was extremely rude and needs some customer service training.

Property wasn’t the most pleasing. Staff was ok but not much help with information. However the room was very clean. Lucky Uber was available!

Room was clean, comfortable and a great price. Most of the room was nicely updated (granite sink surround) and the tile was updated in the bathroom, but the grout job was pretty poor.

Very professional, and nice. My only concern was was I couldn't get the ice machine to function on the day I was there.

This place is one of those hidden gems. Don’t let the outside fool you. This place is a beautiful experience. Rooms are clean and looks the have been redone in a fashion that is equally similar or better than more expensive hotels.

On our way to our destination we stopped here but they gave us a regular room rather than a handicap room. When I booked the room I had specified that I was in a wheelchair. so it was extremely difficult in the bathroom. We were tired & just want to get some sleep so we didn't say anything. On the way back we we asked at the desk for a handicap room but after settleing in we found it was just a regular room again, even though we had asked for a handicap room. They never told us they didn't have any handicap rooms. Everything else was fine, but we will not be staying there again.

Staff was friendly and property was clean. However, there were signs of deferred maintenance. Chair was broken, wall texture was inconsistent due to sloppy patch jobs and caulking was sloppy as well. In addition, the shower needed to be replaced as there is a hole in the shower wall.

Great motel and well run. Recommend for any traveler on the road in Oklahoma.
