Big room and clean Hallway smelled bad dont know why looked like just had a weird smell

IT WAS CLOSE TO WEAR MY SON LIVES. VERY CLEAN. MOSTLY QUIET. STAFF WERE FRIENDLY. WHEN OUR KEY WOULDN'T WORK HE CAME TO OUR ROOM AND MADE SURE IT DID THE 2ND TIME. THE ONLY THING I DIDN'T LIKE WAS ONE NIGHT OTHER CUSTOMERS WERE SO LOUD. THEY FINALLY LEFT AROUND 11;30 OR SO. THEY MAY HAVE BEEN VISITING SOMEONE ELSE THAT WAS STAYING THERE. THE MATTRESS WAS A LITTLE FIRMER THAN I LIKE BUT THAT IS JUST A PREFERENCE.

The room was clean and nice size. Parking free and convenient. Not terrible, but won't return.

Super great staff. Very helpful. The room was very clean, but shows wear. This is an older building. Easy parking. Very safe. Breakfast was very carb oriented. Cereal, toast, muffin, pancakes. No protein. No alternative milk product - like oat or almond milk. Great coffee. The price was right for a stopover on the way home.

Nothing The hotel was disgusting. The pictures of the rooms were obviously taken years ago and the whole place stank of cigarettes and weed. It really was like staying in a crack den. We wanted to leave as soon as we got there but had to wait until the morning as it was so late. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!

several wall switches non-operational; some of the furnishings could have been cleaned better; bath ceiling fan very loud; make sure your room faces the back parking as the traffic noise from Rt85 (which is immediately in front of the of the building) in front is significant all night. Otherwise, all was as expected for this class motel: clean overall, check-in quick, furnishings thruout very basic but getting old, very basic breakfast, general location is convenient. Overall, for the price I would consider staying again

The room was clean and well stocked with toiletries, enough towels, ice bucket, tissues and a hair dryer. All that is quite nice for a property at this modest price point. Staff was polite and helpful both at check-in and check-out when I had a question about the provided breakfast. Breakfast included pancakes, cereal, oatmeal, toast, muffins, coffee and juices. This property is halfway between two cities I frequently travel between. I was impressed enough to take their business card to be certain I remember the name of then property to stay there again.

There was a clean room and I had no issues with the staff, however the room the lip to get up in the room required me to lift my wheelchair up into. Not only was it not handicapped, but the breakfast was horrible!

The entire hotel smelled like smoke the moment we walked in. The management responses online are a joke, and when I brought the issues up in person, they didn’t care at all. Our room was disgusting:     •    The toilet didn’t even work.     •    There were squished roaches on the wall.     •    Cigarette buds were literally under the bed. We couldn’t even stay the night — we left after just three hours because the smell was unbearable. Save your money and beware of this place.

There’s nothing good to say about this place. The staff are uncaring, the rooms smell and doorknobs falling off. The ATM machine doesn’t work and the staff couldn’t even make change for the drink machine. The free breakfast is nonexistent. Didn’t even have coffee. Unbelievable how Expedia could offer such a place.

The staff was great. The room was ok. Big hoke in the screen room 102. Couldnt open the window for fresh air. The shower i thought had mold but housekeeper said it was black cement. I have pictures. Couldnt sleep because someone was banging on walls or floor till early morning so no sleep.

Smelled strongly of marijuana and cigarettes as soon as we walked in the door. As we made our way to our room the carpets had obviously not been vacuumed in some time. The smoking smell lingered throughout and we turned around and left with no refund offered for our room.

The staff was not friendly, the building was dirty trash in floors, strong smell of deodorant to cover the smell of cigarettes and weed. The room was dingy looking sheets looked stained and the locks on door was damaged to the point I was locked out of the room twice!

When we got there the site price stated one thing and the hotel staff quoted a way much higher price so we didn’t stay there because of they reason that has never happened before and I have stayed in a lot of places all over the world

My only complaint is that our room did not get very cool and we had to end up, opening the window to cool it down, but the hotel manager was amazing and came in and worked on it and brought us a fan to help, also would like to mention the breakfast is extremely limited, toast, and muffins, coffee juice, oatmeal. Don’t expect a hot breakfast, but there’s a few basic items so you won’t be hungry. I really like the manager, Dixon, he was a bright light and very helpful. Lastly, the pool was clean and fun!

Everything was good . My complaints are the tv was still on when we got there so my daughter was scared to walk in room or open bathroom door. We slept on top of blankets because we brought our own . I noticed under the pillows was a blood spot . Breakfast was bread , chocolate muffins & package oatmeal juice & coffee. More selection would have been nice. All in all I would stay again if had to .

Clean room & the Staff was friendly. The room (king) was spacious. The room phone DID NOT work, and when i reported it, the "maintenance" guy responded quickly. USE CAUTION on the stairs to the second floor. They are narrow, and feel steeper than normal stairs. Oh,and the "air freshener" in the stair well is AWFUL!

Front desk can be a little bit more friendly. The hallways were not clean. We had no laundry bag in our room. It was OK stay the thermostat on the wall does not operate. The heating and air unit had to operate the unit from its own controls. could use some upgrades But for the price it was all right.

Overall the cleanliness was good. Did not like how the hotel smelled like a pot farm and our room smelled like stale cigarettes to the point after we cleaned for ourselves and sprayed air refresher, it still smelled and our sleep was interrupted.

We tried three rooms before we found one that was okay to sleep in. The only reason we did not turn around and leave was because it was so late and we were exhausted from a 20-hour travel day.

Easy straight forward process.

There was a funky smell in my room and in the stairwells which were also very dirty. Breakfast apparently is first come first serve and they do not replenish because when I came down at 8 AM (breakfast advertised 6-9 AM) there was only bread, apples, and oatmeal. I don’t think there’s an elevator, which makes things very difficult if you have a large suitcase and aren’t on the first floor. I will not be staying there again.

The staff gave me a refund when I checked out after the terrible first night. The highway is right next to the hotel. All you hear is constant loud road noise. The blackout curtains didn't block the outside lights from shining through.The beds are so awful, I didn't sleep at all. The floor would have been more comfortable. The mattress was hard, creaked when I moved, and you can feel and see the springs of the mattress through the scratchy sheets. Everything was dingy, dark, and gross. About 20 teenagers (not guests) used the hotel parking lot to party late into the night. It made me nervous for my car parked 5 feet away. The ATM was not working. There were no water fountains or coffee makers available, so there was no way to get a beverage. My non-smoking room smelled like cigarette smoke enough to cause an asthma attack. The bathroom fan was very loud and rattled and there no way to turn it off without turning the overhead light off. The shower curtain rod was rusty and the shower curtain was all ripped. There were hairs everywhere on the floor and shower. The toilet paper roll had been wet from the towels hanging above it from the previous guest, and dried leaving the toilet paper roll yellow and stained from previous moisture. The keys didn't work and I couldn't turn the lamp on next to the bed.

Unpleasant, noisy, moldy and really uncomfortable. Felt unsafe. This stay at the end of the family trip created an unfortunate bad memory.

When we checked in we could not understand the front desk agent and he acted like we were bothering him. We wanted to use the pool but the agent was giving me, a female, the creeps. There is a hole in the bathroom wall. I can see the metal stud. I can't tell the difference between laying in the bed and laying in the floor, the mattress is that hard. On checkout the front desk agent would not speak over a whisper in broken english. He went to do a room check and when he returned there was a line of people. Instead of finishing checking me out, he went through 3 other customers before our transaction. He even asked one of the customers in said line if they would like to have their deposit back. Afterwards, he acted like he wanted his paperclip back after handing it to me with my deposit. The breakfast consisted of apples and palm sized muffins. There was no refridgerator for milk or cream. I didn't bother checking to see if there was any orange juice. I don't drink coffee so there was no need for me to check that. Overall, we had a bad stay. We will never stay here again.

The bathroom was dirty , toilet was leaking , light fixture in the bathroom had fell on my youngest son head while getting dressed . No coffee in the rooms at all . Also no decaf in the front lobby because the front desk had no clue on how to change it out .

Peace and quiet

This was my second stay at this location and while everything was wonderful the breakfast was very lacking. I'd been happier with being offered pop tarts rather than 2 pieces of toast 1 piece of fruit and orange juice and that was all that was there. Other than the breakfast being very small there was a woman who was banging on the door next to mine at 1 AM for over an hour. We were very close to the front desk so I know they had to hear it! I had a 2 year old with me that she woke up several several times and we asked her to stop but she just kept on.

I hate that we couldn’t stay there but the smell and condition just weren’t fit for my family.

I checked in around 8pm. The first room had a smell. The manger change my room. While I saying in room #2 I thought I saw a roche. The next day in the afternoon when I returned I saw a dead roche on the floor. I went to complain to the front desk to ask for another room. The person behind the said "we are sold out tonight" I demand another room finally the person behind the desk gave me a new room. Also while in room #2 NO ONE came to clean while I was gone. I was told by manger house keeping only works in the morning.

We stayed five days, staff was not attentive but they were helpful. I was given an upstairs room and it was unclean and smell like peed. I went and told them and I was switched to another room. We stayed there and it was good. The staff would clean it daily and that was appreciated. Clean towels provided daily. It is an ok place for the price paid. Convenient for sure!

Facing I-85 so make sure you get a room on the backside. No elevator to reach the 2nd floor. Feels threadbare. Could use a refresh. The door lock was slow and took multiple tries to unlock. The desk chair was broken and the cushion was flat with no support. The room was clean. The toilet seat wouldn't stay up. The bathroom door handle was partially loose and hanging. The A/C unit is a good white noise source and works well. The bathroom fan is also a good white noise source as its very loud. You get what you pay for here. A clean room with minor issues at a good price.

We were traveling for our grandfathers funeral, he had been battling cancer for 7 years and there was just nothing to do but wait. We came up here to spend his final moments with him, he passed on the 28th. Our hotel was supposed to be our place we could calm down from the day and get through this horrible week. I was in room 212 and I can’t even explain how bad our stay was and how it was truly a nightmare for us during this time. For the character limits sake: there were roaches and nothing was done about them, there were stains and burn holes from cigarettes in our sheets and again no care was given by staff, the hallway constantly reeked of cigarette smoke and yet it’s a no smoking hotel. That was a factor in why I chose this place because my boyfriend has anaphylactic reactions to cigarette smoke but we just hoped he didn’t. Also, the bathroom door didn’t close, we were told the washer and dryer worked so my brother put his clothes in only to find out they don’t after he poured the detergent on them. He tried to ask the guy at the front desk for advice or help like a trash bag and he gave him a tiny little trash bag and said “it’s not my problem”. There was no hospitality, the desk guy was consistently rude, the room were rough, I don’t think I’ve ever stayed at a hotel this bad.

Upon arrival, the first room they put us in was not clean. No pillow cases, no towels. The second room was better, but still dirty looking. We were traveling and it was late so we stayed since at least the bed looked clean. Deal clerk was not personable either. Would not recommend a stay here.

I got here exactly at 3 o'clock for checking in; The room I request it was ready. The check-in person was not rude. He also was not friendly. I would just say good enough. The room is also just good enough. It wasn't pristinely clean, nor was it dirty. It was just good enough. The breakfast is pre-package, stuff, and juices. Just good enough. Everything is just good enough not to complain about it. Not to good but also not bad.

The counter guy was nice. The room was dirty, damaged, and unsafe. Bathroom door did not shut properly nor lock. The adjoining room door frame had been damaged by apparent Forced entry and a small pc of furniture was "blocking" it . There was hair on furniture and the toilet seat was filthy.

Rooms were clean and neatly kept, location is directly beside a highway, and the building needs a proper refurbishment as several other doors are missing latches and the bathroom door is falling out of its framing.

The front lobby smelled really good when walking in. The lady at the front desk was really nice and helpful. We were walking down to our room and all we could smell is cigarette smoke. Not even there for 10min and fire alarm goes off. We went out and about for some hours came back showered which water pressure and temp of water was amazing which I was shocked being that when you flush the toilet takes about a whole minute for it to actually finish flushing. Was woken up again at 2am to the fire alarm going off again. It was said someone pulled it but it’s obvious people are smoking bc this time it smelled like weed throughout the hall way and that smelled was discovered by us walking to the lobby checking out the hotel at 3am since we couldn’t sleep anyways. Not a hotel I would book again. The convenience of being not to far from my sons school was nice but I will rather drive extra miles than stay there again.

Ok I guess...not sure about the area but didn't give a good vibe at the dead end. But didn't have any issues with that. Indoor pool closed way too early. No elevator. Room was extremely hot, finally reached temp around 3am. Breakfast was minimal. But not all bad, we felt it was very clean and well maintained. Easy check in and out.

Room smothered with urine smells, like room never been cleaned and floor stained with urine. Bed was making broken noise on every which way you turn. Never recommend this place to anyone. No accommodation by staff at all and still have the nerve to charge me extra night for not staying there.

While the place is what you expect for the price, the staff are wonderful and very respectful. Please know this does not reflect the staff. But the bathroom has a mold smell. The walls have stains and the floors as well. The bed was dated but comfortable. The area is very unsafe for a family’s. The photos on the place are very misleading. However if you are in a pinch and need to stay somewhere, go with it.

Checked in and the place stunk of marijuana, had to run to appointments came back and windows were open from rooms with horrible smell of marijuana. Pics didn’t match what room should look like. Very poor lighting. Checked out 4 hours later and front desk never even asked if there were problems. Did not feel safe so we made a move. Found another hotel and will never even attempt another Super 8.

Very unfriendly staff, they were all rude, disrespectful, and was not helpful with anything, one even laughed at me when I told her that the manager when asked her name she said words that I don't even want to say , asked me for a 150.00 deposit in cash until I check out the next day, the price of the room was not bad, but I will not be staying there anymore, I will stay in my car before I go back there

We appreciate all of those qualities. Our last motel in SC was opposite of each quality I just listed. Therefore, we appreciated staying somewhere people displayed common courtesy and cleanliness.

Did have some very noisy neighbors- could not handle the smell coming from room so the front desk vet happily changed rooms for us and we slept great leaving 7am. No issue upon check out. Hope this helps.

The man who checked us in was very nice. That unfortunately was the best part of the stay. The room smelled of smoke (supposed to be non smoking) , the lock was broken, there were dead bugs and the AC reeked of mold. We left after about 10 minutes. When we went downstairs the man was on the phone and there were people waiting to be checked in . My daughter was hungry and tired so we did not wait around to discuss the room. Will not be booking here again.

Stayed at this hotel for 1 night with my 2 year old.... we had a man follow us to our room. Also it was super cold in the room, and no curtain for the window that was right by the tub! Will not be staying here again!

This property is a rat hole. The kid or kids upstairs kept running all night and woke up early in the morning RUNNING and it sounded like a bunch of buffalos. It smelled like mildew in the room. Not to mention there was a fabric torn chair in the room. What kind of mess is this.

For starters, the pool was closed due to the possibility of the ceiling caving in. There were pieces of the ceiling floating in the water but no signs were posted to warn customers. The door to the pool was unlocked as well. The laundry room was filthy. They gave us a room that was still getting cleaned at the time of check in. The rooms looked very old and worn, and so did the covers on the bed. The mattress offered a well rested sleep. The microwave and fridge were leaning on the stand it was on but I’m not sure why. The breakfast was very bland. The noise from the highway was very frustrating.
