We stay here often when visiting family in Salisbury. Mitch @ the front desk recognizes us upon checking in, which was nice. The lady who does the breakfast is very nice. Breakfast has 2 types of omelette, bacon, turkey sausage, sausage and gravy, and a machine that makes pancakes, as well as juice, bread, fruit. Rooms overlooking the back of the property can be noisy bc of the interstate running behind it. Parking is free and the room itself is nice

The Holiday Inn Express and Suites was easy to get to. The staff was exceptionally nice, the beds were comfy and the hotel was very clean. We liked the fact there were restaurants and a Dunkin within walking distance. They provided continental breakfast and they also have a new coffee machine with hot water for tea that's available all day as well. We would definately stay here again.

Only disappontment was that I was told breakfast was @ 10 am... true for the weekend but 9:30 on Monday, so I missed it. Other was interstate traffic noise disturbed sleep somewhat. Hotel is super clean and staff super helpful, comfy bed, plenty of hot water and big room.

The room was cozy. I kind of wished there was an extra blanket for the bed. The bathroom was clean and well stocked with towels. I liked the vanity light and appreciated all of the soaps supplied for me to use. Check in/check out was a breeze. Breakfast was delicious. I liked the coffee machine and the ability to have a fresh cup. The staff members were so kind and helpful. Would stay again.

the breakfast was amazing - pancakes, omelets, juices, oatmeal, cereals, bagels, cinnamon rolls and FRESHLY GROUND COFFEE! Way more than we expected but were so happy to have! We waited until the 3pm check-in time, after 7 hours of driving and 3 hours of standing in the frigid cold for the Walk of Peace, hoping to get checked in right away. The front desk clerk was super friendly and polite, but said our room wasn't going to be ready for another 20 minutes. Kind of disappointing, but he said they were short-staffed, so we went less than 1/4 mile away to Cracker Barrel and had an early dinner. Everything else about our stay was perfect!

The real standout here was the staff. We had an issue with payment through Booking.com, and they were beyond helpful, patient, and genuinely kind while getting everything sorted out. You could tell they truly cared about making things right. Since we stayed during Christmas, the hotel leaned into the holiday spirit with a kids’ coloring table set up near the Christmas tree, which was such a sweet touch. They also had a hot chocolate table, though the basket was often empty—so a little more restocking would’ve made that extra cozy moment even better. The hotel was very busy the weekend we stayed, but despite that, the staff did their absolute best to keep things running smoothly, and it showed. Our room was clean, nicely kept, and the bed was *super* comfortable—definitely a great night’s sleep. The only downside was the bathroom door being off track, which made closing it a bit of a struggle. Overall, it was a good stay with excellent service, a festive atmosphere, and a comfy place to recharge. I’d definitely consider staying again, especially for Polar Express season ?✨

Hotel is located in a busy, central area close to many restaurants. My room was spacious and comfortable, and all the interactions I had with staff were very pleasant. Generally good breakfast options. The only thing I did not like was the water pressure in the shower. The shower was spacious and nice, but I’d appreciate more water pressure. At breakfast one morning I opened a carton of 2% milk that had gone bad; it had not been kept cold.

Excellent hotel. Staff was friendly. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Walls are a little thin, get the top floor if you can or you’ll hear your upstairs neighbors every move. Pool was closed which was a disappointment for the kids, but things happen and can’t always be fixed immediately.

It was a good stay. Only issue for me was the wrong date was submitted and to get the date I needed, I had to pay an extra $107.

Once I checked in in person room 412, the rep stated that Expedia did not charge an incidental fee and asked that I pay an incidental fee. I feel the clerk ask for the incidental fee due to the color of my skin, I felt stereotyped. The lobby and outside grounds area was ok. The continental breakfast was great, There were homeless or drug addicts or alcoholics at the gas station beside the hotel. I had to park my car on the other side of the hotel. Once I got in my in room, it had a stuffy smell, the sliding bathroom door came off the hinges, the carpet had old gum or some type of black sticky spot, the carpet was old, the couch bed had no sheets, the remote batteries were dead, no coffee cups for the coffee machine, shower curtains were old, the shower was dingy, I couldn’t tell if the deadbolt lock worked to the room door. The amount of money I paid was not worth it.

It was the best stay in Salisbury that I’ve had the several times traveling here this year. Cleanliness, and the safe environment is utmost importance. It will be in my future options but will continue to compare to others in the area.

This is an good hotel. I've been here several times and have never had any major issues or concerns. Fairly clean only a few things that I could nitpick about in the bathroom when it comes to detailed cleaning. But overall I enjoyed my stay. The hotel staff have always been upbeat and a pleasure to see.

We were in and out several times during the three days we were there. Every time we came back in or left there is no one at the front desk. I also asked for fresh pillows because the pillows I had on my bed smelled of sweat. I finally got some on our last day.

After a 10 hour drive and a very long day, my family of 5 received a call that they overbooked for the night and needed us to cancel our reservation. They called us 45 minutes prior to arriving, which was almost 9pm, leaving us scrambling for a place to sleep with availability. If overbooking occurred, they had 3 days to inform us but chose to leave it to the last hour. Such a terrible experience after a full day of driving. Would not recommend

I don't think I will get a room in a Holliday in again. The sheets were dirty, staff sleeping on the job, gotta say a prayer before showering so you can get some water pressure. Maybe I'm too spoiled.

Hotel was extremely noisy, no heat in hallways, broken and patched sink and tub, no entrance hall lighting that worked, dirty, shower curtain wasnt long enough for tub. Staff was friendly and breakkfast was good. For a newer hotel, it was in poor shape. It appeared that nearly all electrical panels (bathroom, hall and even 3rd floor elevator) had been hit, as they were offset). It was even difficult to turn on bathroom. Its not what id expect to see in a Holiday Inn Express. The pool area was cold and water appeared dark and cloudy. We opted not to swim. I took pictures of my complaints.

The hotel was a surprise to us because it was nicer than we thought it would be. It has been re-modeled or updated lately and it was very clean, the people working there were friendly. Even the elevators were redone, the walls were not banged up, new flooring. The halls too. New rugs, the walls were not banged up, no bad smells, our room was the same.

The hotel was very clean and up-kept. The cleaning staff were very kind and lovely ladies to talk to. The lobby was extremely hot which made it hard sit and enjoy the wonderful breakfast they provide. Hats off to the ladies feeding so many guest. I would stay here again even though our check in process was long and very disorganized. Our room was cozy and clean.

The room was very dusty , bed covers didn’t smell clean and had some love stains,pillow covers smelled bad and also had stains. The toilet paper holder was almost falling apart/and was very easy to have a roll fall out of the side. Dust bunnies behind the sink. Honestly will probably avoid holiday inn express from now on I don’t see the value.

The hotel is nice. Rooms are comfortable and clean.

The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was nice The beds are very comfortable The pool extremely clean. Had a very pleasant stay. The fridge did not work in the room and they replaced it within minutes of me asking for another one. Will definitely stay here again
