Hampton Inn Salisbury

The room was fine, the bed was fine. The shower was great. The pillows were a disaster. I managed three hours sleep on those rocks and then when I decided to try and get some coffee, the coffee maker in my room didn’t work and even if it did, it only had decaf and tea so I went downstairs and the coffee there was gone too, but the desk clerk did bring some out, he volunteered to bring me some pods for the coffee maker, which would’ve been useless because the coffee maker didn’t work. The one thing I would critique about the breakfast area is it is annoying to have music and TV competing with each other in the same room. It needs to be one or the other.

The hotel smelt like strong cigarettes as soon as I walked in. For someone like me with asthma, it made it hard for me to breathe. It didn't seem as clean as usual. Normally I love Hampton Inn hotels and have stayed here before a couple times but this time it wasn't that great. Also, the lady who was working when we checked out was a little rude and was loudly talking to another person about her personal/sex life..

The property was so conveniently located and I loved the back lot area where I can walk my dog. Also, i the grounds were so well manicured and everything was very clean. And getting a little doggy bag complete with a door hanger with my dog’s name on it was such a special touch! Including my name on the TV as I walked in the room! Also, the breakfast was fabulous… My dog especially loved the breakfast sausages? Dustie made such an impression on me—his upbeat personality made me feel so welcomed! Oh, so the water station was right up my alley. And they were able to accommodate me with the first floor room right near the rear exit so I could take my dog out early in the morning. Just everything was perfect! Not one thing!…except that I got there late and really didn’t get to explore the area! I was a little disappointed that the outdoor pool wasn’t open yet but I got over that quickly!

It was annoying hearing the staff moving about I guess getting stuff in and out of the linen room and the same for the ice room. The shower could use some fixing of the lopsided shelf in the shower and scrubbing of the bottom of the shower door.

Cleanness. The room carpet wasn't clean. It was like the carpets in the corridors. I didn't like to walk on it The breakfast also wasn't good. Fruits were not fresh and the choices are very limited

The only reason I am giving this a 3 star is because I was given the room next to the elevator. The machinery of the elevator banged all night which was directly in the wall behind my bed. I didn’t sleep at all. Don’t stay in room 429. Everything else was great.

This Hampton was more pricy than others I have stayed in.

Room was accomidating.... Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly...Coffee was good, that is a bonus Room was quite until early morning noise near the pool around 4:00 am kept waking me up....I will ask for a room on away from the pool next time.... Pillows were small.

We had an awesome time at this hotel. Nice, clean, and quiet, even with almost max capacity! Breakfast was hot and plentiful, and plenty of good places to have dinner nearby. Having an electric charger was a big plus, and it was free! Pool was nice, just a little too much chlorine. Overall, absolutely a great stay!!!

Really didn't have any issues. The toilet was running a lot. I don't think anyone ever told the staff. We reported it. The breakfast had a lot of options and the area was kept very clean. The fitness area was one of the best we have ever seen in a hotel. Will return to this location in the future.

The pillows were nice but my husband and I both woke up with back pain from the mattress, and we sleep on a firm bed ourselves but holy moly. Also who choose the placement of the soap/shampoo/conditioner bottles in the shower? Pretty sure I have some bruises from hitting my arm on them.

My daughter and I were in town for an event. The check-in process was super easy, and the staff was friendly. I've had issues with check-in using the same booking and hotel chain in the past, but this stay made up for it all. The rooom was super clean, comfy, and quiet. It could be the time of year that we visited could be a "slow season" for the area but we still enjoyed our stay. Probably some of the best sleep I've had in a while. Definitely looking forward to coming back next time we are visiting the area!

I stayed at The Hampton Inn Salisbury for a night when attending a friends bday party. The room was clean and it was so nice to have a hot shower and a fresh bed to fall into. The included breakfast was awesome. One of the best I’ve had. Great place to stay.

Unfortunately, I came down with an illness during our stay. When I mentioned it to the front desk staff, they offered to bring some breakfast up to me. So kind. The staff really does go above and beyond. And the free cookie upon arrival doesn’t hurt either. ; ) We will definitely stay at Hampton for all of our future visits to Salisbury.

The customer service was amazing at the hotel along with the cleanliness. We needed a late checkout due to the timing of our pictures and the staff was easy to work with. Our family chose this location to meet for a Christmas train ride and spent the weekend here. Other than that, when I did check in (5 minutes early), I was not charged. The front staff was great! The rooms are always nice, clean and very comfortable. Our entire stay was amazing. The staff were very friendly and welcoming to us and our pet. The rooms and common areas were clean. The parking area was well lit and felt safe. There was a nice grass area as well for my fur baby. I would recommend this hotel to anyone in the area. We also enjoyed the breakfast which had a nice variety of items.

The staff at the Hampton inn were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was sold out so I could not move my room which was right next to the swimming pool. The pool was open until 10 Pm. Perhaps they could change that to 9 PM for people who had to wake early the next day. Other than that it is a very clean well organized hotel.

We stayed for softball regionals and the staff was friendly and very attentive we stayed for 5 days . They decorated the hotel with balloons and made little softball goodie bags for the girls.

Very clean and quiet. Since we arrived late we used the no-contact check-in with Hilton Honors. Worked great. did have an opportunity to talk to the staff and they were super friendly. We'd stay here again. (We did not eat any breakfast.)

First off they put me on the 3rd floor right beside the linen closet and they were in and out the closet half the day after check in and the bathroom smelled like some pipes had busted and it smelled like sewage I had to go buy a candle and spray.

We stay here often when visiting family in the area because they are pet friendly and very close to several good restaurants (two right next to the parking lot).Our fur babies are very happy here because they have good areas to walk, and the staff is happy to have them. The breakfast is also pretty good.

I appreciate that ev charging is provided. As for breakfast I wish there are pepper shaker as option. Did not enjoy tearing so tiny packets and after dozen tears, it was not enough.

Very friendly and courteous staff!

Hotel is nice! Front desk person was very sweet. However the room above us sound like someone was getting beat up around 1 in the morning. That’s not the hotel’s fault but I didn’t get to sleep until 3 but had to be on the road at 8. Overall good stay

Our two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels were welcomed guests. Hang tag with their names on it, poop bags, and treats provided. Off major highway with lots of great space for puppy walks. And, two excellent restaurants within walking distance (just across the parking lot). Plan to make this my new go-to place in Salisbury when visiting family.

Hotel room was a lil small but very nice. Bed was a bit hard for me, im used to a softer mattress. The rolling chair is a hazard! U sit down and u immediately start sliding off. I had to put a towel in the chair but didnt really help. Loved the walk in shower! Breakfast was nice altho the sausage looked half cooked, very nice variety however. I was there for a nearby assembly and will def stay there again.

The toilet was blocked when I booked in; the bath tub was blocked after I took a shower.

If I had a complaint it's about the TV. There's no way to run Netflix or any other app. Remote wouldn't go into setup. I brought my Roku device to plug into a port but there weren't any buttons to allow changing of the input. We were stuck with cable and not our favorite stuff. Had to resort to the old laptop to watch netflix, which I was prepared for. I can understand the pain if they allowed this.

I stayed at the Hampton in Salisbury for one night in February. The hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly, the hotel was quiet and it was in a convenient location. I will stay there again.

The hotel was very clean. The staff and breakfast were great. The bed, pillows and towels not so much. Not a big fan of the shower gel.

The staff were so kind, personable and even went personally to check one of our rooms to ensure our family could be close together. The holiday busy and demands did not deter them from warm greetings, impeccable service and immaculate facilities. A lovely experience!
