Reviews
Guests generally appreciate the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms, as well as the kindness of the staff. However, the hotel's location and ongoing renovations are major points of dissatisfaction. The hotel's proximity to the freeway and various unsavory establishments, as well as the noise and inconvenience caused by the renovations, have negatively impacted many guests' experiences.
- Clean and comfortable rooms
- Kind and helpful staff
- Poor location next to freeway and unsavory establishments
- Ongoing renovations causing noise and inconvenience
- 4/5
First room they gave me was not made up. She did apologize a few times.
- 5/5
Friendly and helpful staff
- 3/5
The room was large. It also had the dirtiest stained carpet. I didn’t even want to remove my shoes! It was nasty! Housekeeping maintenance needs to check that out!
- 3/5
It was a clean room. Refrigerator not cold. Ice machine on our foor was broken. No wifi for the entire night. They did give us free breakfast to make up for shortcomings. Worked for Doubletree Hotels in my early career. It was a grander chain of hotels back then. I would stay there again if they fixed all their problems. Terrible parking lot.
- 5/5
Room was clean & a good size w/fridge & microwave. Definitely a good place for the price.
- 5/5
Since this was an overnight stay on the way home part of our trip, the location and ease of reservation were the primary factors. The location was close to the freeway and making the reservation was easy.
- 5/5
Rooms were clean breakfast was delightful
- 4/5
What happened to the wonderful cookies!! They weren't available. That's why I booked here. Lol!!
- 5/5
It was wonderful to be greeted with a smile and warm cookies !!! You can immediately noticed that they were understaffed however they continued to do it with a positive attitude.
- 4/5
The room was updated and the beds were soft. Parking was a bit hectic at times but we always had a spot. There is an extra change for parking and breakfast. Breakfast smelled good but we opted out.
- 3/5
They charged to park on the property.
- 2/5
The fitted sheets on one of the beds kept coming off the mattress in the middle of the night. Kept waking me up.
- 2/5
Room was clean and well maintained. WiFi was down for our entire 2 night stay. Food was mediocre. They charge $10 per night to park in their parking lot and the staff looked at me like I was stupid when I asked “well, where else would I park?” No complimentary breakfast, $15 if you choose to eat.
- 5/5
friendly staff. clean
- 5/5
Room was clean and orderly as I would want
- 4/5
Could have used a couple more towels. Shower head was a little wonky. Overall was a nice stay.
- 5/5
Everything, everyone, everyday that we stayed, made our trip so special. You feel like they were catering to your every need. Over the top customer service. First class all the way.
- 4/5
Overall good hotel for a last minute booking
- 4/5
The Parking cost me $10 to stay there at their hotel which sucked and you had to pay for breakfast there at $15 a person crazy
- 5/5
Everything was great. The only thing I would say is. The bed was a bit firm for my liking.
- 4/5
Pretty good. Would go back.
- 5/5
There are hotels that claim to be classy and exclusive, and there are hotels that are top notch 5 star quality this Doubletree Hilton is,, and I stayed across the street at the competitors but there is no comparison.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Breakfast was great - however, bacon was not always available.
- 2/5
The room we got was on the first floor right next to the breakfast area. Woke up to all the noice from the waffle maker and people. The restroom had a urine smell. They told us all the other rooms were fully booked as soon as we got there. I booked over two months ago and it didn’t seem full. The pool and hot tub were out of service for maintenance and did not get to enjoy it after our long hike, which were the plans. I would not stay there again.
- 1.5/5
not worth $15
- 5/5
Wonderful staff, great breakfast, and clean rooms as always
- 5/5
Excellent! Breakfast was delightful and very friendly cook! Hotel staff is super great. Highly recommended. Just one minor discrepancies? We didn't know that we have to ask to clean our room we thought automatically they will clean it every time. Other than that it's super great!
- 5/5
Had an awsome stay staff very friendly
- 1/5
I kept hearing a bang, every 30 minutes or so, all night. I thought it was someone rattling my door, at about 3 a.m. I realized it was my refrigerator. Plus right out my window, was what became a drag strip, ALL NIGHT LONG. Cars would romp on it and bake the tires all the way up onto Interstate 5. I mentioned both of these irritating items to the front desk upon my checkout, and they didn't even offer me a discount for the MAJOR INCONVENIENCES. I got ZERO SLEEP HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
- 2/5
The window is kind of list it’s sealing and it faced the highway. So, it’s has such loud noise that it’s impossible for you to sleep in the room.
- 5/5
Clerk at front desk was outstanding and very welcoming
- 1/5
I will not be going back here. I booked for a king size room only to be set up in a twin for my little family that was originally way cheaper than what I charged and their reason for not consulting before setting up the reservation was because they added free parking and free breakfast, so yeah tread slowly if you ever think of booking here.
- 5/5
Clean
- 5/5
Options & freshness of the breakfast menu exceeded my family’s expectations.
- 2/5
Be prepared to pay extra for parking, wifi, and breakfast at the restaurant.
- 5/5
We don’t have much options in breakfast and not filling back after 9am, even though breakfast times were 7am to 10am. Apart from this rest all excellent.
- 5/5
Angela at thr front desk was great.
- 1/5
They're not transparent about charging for breakfast. A very small, unnoticeable sign when it looks like a continental breakfast and I don't approach you until after you've taken food to tell you that it's $15 per person, they also promote that they have a restaurant and bar inside the facility. But they do not, it is a common area that has a bar counter that is not open.
- 1/5
Will never stay there again, unbelievable
- 5/5
As advertised
- 5/5
Very friendly staff and helpful staff, and the pool & spa were a lifesaver after a long drive. The room was great.
- 5/5
Nice large clean room. Bed was very comfortable
- 5/5
This place was really nice and exceeded my expectations. The person checking us in was nice and gave us warm cookies that were so good. I’d definitely stay here again. Compared to Holiday Inn, this place beats them.
- 5/5
Clean and well maintained, easy on/off freeway, wonderful staff. The room (416) was very loud due to its proximity to the freeway and an on-ramp - really loud. Luckily I can sleep to traffic as white noise. I think the hotel should invest in better windows and insulation bc at times it sounded like a truck or two were about to be roommates.
- 1/5
Property was located well as far as being near where we wanted to go but between freeway and another very busy street rooms were very noisy. Too near freeway. Room was terribly loud from creaking and loud cracking of floor from room above me. 2nd night I was moved only to be put in a room with what I guess was the toilet/sewer vent for part of the building. Bathroom had a vent in corner of ceiling with a continual loud fan or fan noise coming from it. The bathroom and room if bathroom door was left open at all smelled horribly. I was so tired from not sleeping the night before I just dealt with it (towels at bottom of door etc). While the staff, including GM said all the right things about getting me into a quiet room- they put me another problem room. So done with it- I tried to rest and left early in morning. Never to return.
- 4/5
Staff great, breakfast ok, clean room, but the carpet was stained
- 5/5
:-)
- 5/5
wonderful place to stay for singles or families
- 5/5
Great breakfast and friendly staff.
- 5/5
Muy limpio y muy amables lo único que no entendí el cobro de el estacionamiento de mi carro
- 4/5
Clean room. Relatively quiet despite proximity to the freeway.
- 4/5
Easy access to the freeway
- 4/5
It was a convient location.
- 3/5
Only complaints ! poor water pressure and ice machine on my floor was not working .
- 5/5
Awesome!
- 4/5
Pleasant
- 5/5
Clean, nice staff. Welcome cookies made great impression.
- 5/5
Everyone was very polite and helpful. The hotel was pretty and very clean! Definitely would stay again.
- 4/5
Room was very spacious - almost too spacious - seemed like it was missing something
- 3/5
Cleanish room, nice staff but on the first day we asked for extra bedding a a roll out bed but they said they didn’t have any but the second night it was provided. Besides that I’m having a hard time getting the rest of my deposit back from them besides that it was nice. Oh and the parking sucked and was so full all the time
- 2/5
Poor customer service. I had requested for the room to be cleaned and it was not. Also, the first night we stayed, we wanted to enjoy the bar and have some drinks, but the bar tender was awful rude that we decided just pay for the drink in which it was not good, and left. The hotel was nice but they need to improve the client service.
- 1/5
Paid for breakfast and it was running 2 hours late I was not reimbursed and the front staff was very unfriendly
- 5/5
The staff was so friendly, professional and attentive. Beds and pillows were amazing, slept very well which is uncommon in a hotel. We utilized the coffee bar, evening snack bar and fitness facility. Enjoyed the complimentary cookies and waters. Hotel gave an extended checkout which was helpful. Can't say enough good things about this hotel and its staff. Only recommendation I would have is to add a fan to the fitness center as the window doesn't open and it was hot in there. Would definitely come back!
- 2/5
Our door would not close without shoving it hard, you get charged for parking. And you can hear the outside road noise.
- 4/5
My only complaint is the McDonalds traffic was a little annoying at times. Nothing that would make me not stay there again. Just annoying at times. The homeless camped across the road was unnerving with
- 2/5
We were very disappointed after reading reviews we didn't expect the rooms to show so much wear and tear. The breakfast is NOT free and you have to pay to park on-site. They need to have 25 security outside. The homeless roam the parking lot and approched our teenage daughter. You open the curtians and see the homeless sleeping on the sidewalks and using drugs. We will not be staying there again!
- 3/5
Room was clean. No ice to be had anywhere for our water to drink. TV was hard to get channels on. Desk did not always have a person there.
- 5/5
The hotel is clean, upgraded, and safe. This area in Salem isn’t the best but the hotel has security patrols during the night time.
- 5/5
Everything is work well
- 1/5
Very bad communication no information what so ever extra cost for everything such as extra cost for breakfast extra cost for parking lot we paid for everything and yet they didn’t have anything ready breakfast schedule horrible in general everything was a extra cost and was paid for but nothing was received just wasted my money and my time.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 3/5
The parking is horrible! I had to pay for parking, but they did not have enough parking spaces to park at the hotel.
- 1/5
Lots of flaws during this stay. The door latch was missing, the desk was falling apart, the desk chair was tore up, and for there is not enough parking for their guests!! But they expect you to pay for parking. They did not fix the door, the rubber piece was falling off the door, and homeless sleeping on sidewalks. For the price and for a hotel that was “recently updated” this is not it. Also, we stayed with basketball team and were told the kids could not eat their food in the area with all the tables and chairs and they charge $15 per person for breakfast that is empty before 830am! VERY VERY poor customer service as well. I have pictures! Also, poor cleaning as we moved the couch there was garbage and vapes under the couch.
- 5/5
The room was spacious and the staff was courteous.
- 5/5
Room was wonderful and loved the beds and pillows
- 3/5
Seems like the “welcome cookie” is of different quality when you stay in a budget room. Also, guest services are different too in that they don’t send you a text to see how your check in went. Just find this funny, not a make or break for me but I’ve stayed there twice in two weeks and same front desk staff, different experiences based on how much I paid for the room. The room I stayed in this time had cracked outlet covers, no coffee in the room and was less clean.
- 5/5
Great service !
- 3/5
$10 charge for parking and dofficult to access wifi
- 4.5/5
Small hot tub, pool was too chilly to stay in long, should be warmer, especially in winter.
- 5/5
Great stay!
- 4/5
The staff was great! Especially the bartender.
- 4/5
Staff friendly
- 1/5
Not a great location, loud and busy part of town. Carpets had large stains and counters were dirty.
- 5/5
Yes big and spacious
- 4/5
Clearn room
- 2.5/5
I’ve always like the quality of Hilton’s property’s The loudness of the freeway in the room, I’ve stayed at the ones in Downtown areas and have never heard a peep, the windows need to be more insulated. Way too noisy and I’ve been at a lot of other near freeway hotels with no noise, I even wear earplugs! And never got our cookie or was offered one! ?
- 5/5
Staff was very kind and attentive. Rooms were very clean.
- 5/5
Great customer service. Check in was great. Slept well!
- 5/5
Breakfast cost 15 if your not a gold or silver member, this was very disappointing and offensive They charged us $10 a day for parking and we had no idea about this charge. Breakfast was for only the elite or gold and silver members
- 4/5
There are homeless people everywhere. The hotel is like an oasis in a homeless camp.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly. Room was nice and spacious
- 4/5
Staff were great, comfy rooms, nice property
- 0.5/5
Clean room Hidden charges and terrible location
- 3.5/5
They wanted $15 for a continental breakfast and $10 a night to park the car! The restaurant and bar were more like a cafeteria, and the restaurant menu didn't have much to choose from.

- 5/5
Everything was great!!
- 5/5
My family was in town for basketball. They enjoyed their stay and was appreciative of close distance to food.
- 4/5
Very comfy bed and quiet, clean room Location was convenient but not very scenic, right off freeway but still quiet
- 1.5/5
You have to pay $15 for breakfast. Ridiculous with the amount of money you pay for a room..breakfast should be free!!
- 3.5/5
They charged for parking and breakfast
- 5/5
Awesome trip
- 3/5
Room and hotel are fine, but location and noise are terrible. Right by the freeway and a busy road and zero soundproofing with walls so we listened to cars racing by, and our neighbor's heavy footsteps until midnight. Awful sleep which made our stay and the next day rough.
- 5/5
The room was very clean upon arrival and the staff was very polite. Our stay was very comfortable. Breakfast was good as well. Nice stay.
- 5/5
We had a good rest. Thank you.
- 2/5
Super loud - We asked for a room away from the highway - wasn't any quieter and the in room air conditioner units are also super noisy.
- 5/5
Very clean and courteous staff.
- 3/5
Slightly embarassing. Thee were settings for bagel, wheat bread and white bread and evidently it was on the bagel setting which made my bread go thru slower resulting in the burnt toast. It would be advisable, to have a warning sign telling you to choose appropriate setting.
- 5/5
The room was spacious, staff was friendly, location was great. Can’t complain about warm cookies on arrival. My only issue is the elevator was a bit slow but nothing major
- 3/5
I found an insect in the bathroom and took a photo to show the front desk. However, there was no apology at all, only a brief comment that they would "check it". The response made me feel as if I were being unreasonable or exaggerating the issue, which was quite disappointing and unprofessional.
- 2/5
Room we were first assigned had not been cleaned. There were no towels in the next room. Items in room were broken (blinds, drawer). Lighting was inadequate.
- 5/5
Clean room, staff was friendly and helpful overall a great experience.
- 5/5
Easy check in and awesome room
- 4/5
The carpet in the room had several stains, however, great staff, clean lobby and easy access to food, fuel, etc..
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 5/5
Spotless room, friendly staff, warm cookie on arrival.
- 5/5
Lovely hotel, excellent service, clean room, excellent value!
- 5/5
Relaxing night , clean very & quiet! wish they have a glass inside the room for a drink or something…
- 5/5
Enjoyed our stay at Doubletree Salem. Super convenient location with immediate freeway access. Angela was very attentive and the rooms were clean and comfortable.
- 4/5
I stayed because we lost our electrify during the storm. So we went back home to get our clothes and found our power was just turned back on. I went back to the hotel but I couldn’t get my money back
- 5/5
Super clean and well maintained!
- 5/5
Desk staff has been very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Clean, great staff, fantastic breakfast, easy parking.
- 3/5
Nice room but there were hidden charges.
- 2/5
What I do have a problem is whoever clean that room did not clean it to standard that I would expect a hotel, especially from a Hilton to be cleaned. The night prior I stayed in Portland at a Doubletree Hilton and it was absolutely phenomenal. Staying at a Doubletree Hilton in Salem/Kaiser was absolutely not ideal and I was not impressed. One thing that was an issue as I have never checked into a hotel and went up to my room and found the door jar and not secure, that raises safety concerns. The second is when I went into the room. There was an inflatable air mattress that was filled up in the corner like someone had used it. There no bedding on it, but it was just laying in there filled. Third was, I walked into a the room with a TV blaring with Bluey on the TV screen with no remote to be found. Later I did find the remote after searching the room and it was behind the bed headboard on the floor and the remote still did not work to turn off the TV. fourth, I came back into the room after we had gone and got dinner and went to go sit at the couch and the table in front of the couch was dirty and not clean. The rest of the hotel room was clean. The sheets were clean. The shower was clean. The toilet is clean and the sink, but what I have an issue with is listed above. I told the receptionist at the front desk and she comped our breakfast.
- 3/5
Room was clean. Not impressed with the pillows. Didn’t sleep well due to street noise and somebody’s car alarm. Parking is not free, spaces limited, and very tight. Staff was friendly. Didn’t try the $15 breakfast, as we had made plans to meet family for breakfast elsewhere.
- 5/5
Thanks! We genuinely had a fantastic stay. What really stood out was how incredibly clean and comfortable the room was—truly immaculate and allowed for a very relaxing stay.
- 5/5
Smooth checkin, clean room, friendly staff.
- 5/5
Beautiful facility, clean room. Comfy beds. Loved the warm cookie upon arrival.
- 4/5
The eggs, bacon, sausages, potatoes at breakfast were not warm. The potatoes were sadly, not cooked enough (white and cold). BUT, the breakfast lady was very nice! Overall, the staff was great! We stay here every year on our snowbird flight to Southern California. We like it, but hope with these comments, breakfast can be improved. Thanks!
- 5/5
Everything was very nice
- 5/5
Even though I had a ground floor room, it was still peaceful and relaxing. I had enjoyed my small time in Salem and time at this hotel. Staff was really friendly.
- 5/5
Clean rooms. Nice beds. Great staff!
- 4/5
The room was very clean and comfortable. And the staff were so helpful and friendly. The only issues I had were both nights I stayed, there were guests on the floor above who were extremely loud which made it difficult to sleep.
- 5/5
The room was clean. Staff was nice.
- 5/5
Overall great stay. Newly remodeled. Staff was friendly and helpful. I didn't have the breakfast but it smelled delicious. The pool was awesome. The gym is stellar. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
Nice place
- 3/5
But I did get a full refund and the manager told me about a hotel not far from them that did allow dogs and we were set for that night. No fault of the hotel just a mix up on the site
- 2/5
The room was dated and the blinds were broken so there was no way of keeping the sun out in the morning. Informed the staff and was given a lackluster response.
- 5/5
Very clean
- 1/5
There was no breakfast. Reservation for queen room was not available. They put us in a king room on top floor. All night, very loud motor running. All night. They claimed the problem was I booked through hotels.com. No other rooms available.
- 5/5
The staff are so friendly so far they have welcome us and over heard other guest as they arrived . Have a warm smile just very friendly and welcoming.
- 3/5
Place was in nice condition, but didn't have the king bedroom that we had reservations for. Put us in a room were everything was pushed to the window and had a huge empty area. Very dark room because lights were all locared together.
- 5/5
Clean. Friendly service.
- 3/5
The employees were kind and helpful. But there are minimal spaces and they are small. People, like me with big vehicles, cannot park and there is also limited disabled spots. Everything else was fine but you could upgrade the toilet paper.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect!
- 5/5
Many good options to go for dinner
- 5/5
Very clean room & bathroom. The hotel was in a perfect area where everything is walkable if you don’t want to drive.
- 5/5
The room was very clean.
- 1/5
I never checked in.... I tried to just reserve a room and Expedia charged me the full price one week before staying there. And then I tried to cancel and I can't even so much just talk to somebody. I tried to speak to the hotel and they told me they could do nothing about it because it was through Expedia. In a few weeks I'm planning a trip all the way across the United States and I will not be using Expedia ever. I just want my money back
- 5/5
Freeway noise made sleeping hard.
- 5/5
Clean room very neat
- 2/5
Add said rooms were newly renovated. They were not… our room was noisy inside and out… outside with traffic inside the bathroom it sounded like a generator was running… ALL NIGHT… bed was uncomfortable, pillows flat. Stains on carpet… elevator is tiny and very rough. Maybe they are renovating but they need to keep going. The stay wasn’t great.
- 2/5
Parking fee: $10 (they charge for parking but say that they aren't responsible for things that happen to your car - if they are CHARGING then they should be responsible. Breakfast buffet $15/person for a motel 6 style buffet (4-5 hot items). NOT a fan of all the charges but I suppose that is to be expected for a Hilton property.
- 5/5
We went up to our room and found it to be a double queen. I called the lobby and told them the issue and the had us come back downstairs. They changed the room for me and I mentioned I had asked for a ground floor. She said, she did not see that on the reservation and gave us a ground floor room. Our room was not one that was recently renovated ,but that was not an issue. The room was very spacious and clean. The TV was a 40 inch flat screen and had Direct TV for its stations. I was not pleased with the channel selections offered but it did have nice HBO movies. The room should have had a guide of some sort that said what channels were available for easy access. The guide on channel one was awkward. The room had a large shower when I liked as well as a main shower head and a hand held. The amenities in the bathroom were very nice, they were pump shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Poor water pressure though. We were disappointed we had to pay $15 each for breakfast and there was a $10 a day fee for parking in their lot. The pool and sauna were great. Great Ice machine too.
- 3/5
Rooms are clean, furniture a bit dated (bed especially) and could use some updating, perhaps with the construction the furniture will also receive an update. Otherwise a promising hotel and easy freeway access.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean room.
- 3/5
If you are going to charge for these amenities be up front about it. These surprises make customers mad 😡
- 4/5
I stayed in room 415 and wanted to share a couple of issues I encountered. The blind meant to block outside light wasn’t working properly, and the bathroom ceiling vent was constantly running with a loud, industrial-like noise. That said, the rest of the room was spotless — the pillows, bedding, and overall cleanliness were excellent. Thank you!
- 5/5
Friendly staff, comfortable room
- 5/5
Staff was super helpful
- 4/5
Stopped here along our way to a festival. It was clean and friendly staff. Pillows were unusually comfortable and so was the bed!
- 5/5
Comfortable stay! Awesome breakfast!
- 4/5
The room was large and clean. The king sized bed was very comfortable. They charged $15pp for breakfast that would typically be included with the stay--serve yourself coffee, fruit, bacon, sausage and potatoes. They ran out of eggs so only charged us for one breakfast. I'd have rather gone and spent my money at Waffle House so someone else could make my waffle and pour my coffee, just sayin'. My spouse was already eating though. Also got charged $10 for parking--the location is right off the interstate. Just felt a bit nickle and dimed.
- 4/5
Not very quiet. Lots of road noise. Good cookies
- 3/5
My child found a dirty shirt stuck in the sofa . Nasty shirt too !
- 3/5
It was late wan we checked in and we were tiered of a long drive
- 5/5
quite
- 5/5
The staff was great. Staff was really nice. Only negative thing was the bed was to hard and pillows were to soft.
- 2/5
First of all, there was a big black stain visible from the entrance of the room on the carpet. When we told the front desk about it, they said they would inform housekeeping and it would be taken care of (it never got taken care of). Secondly, the retractable blinds covering the window was broken so we could not let any natural light in for the duration of our stay (4 nights 5 days). Next was the faucet on the sink, you could move it side to side and wiggle it frontward and backward. Then comes the housekeeping service. For the first night, we hung the DND sign on the door as our room did not need to be serviced. The following day we removed it before we left the hotel for the rest of the day. When we returned in the evening, our room had not been serviced. The next day when we headed downstairs to leave for that day, we asked the front desk if our room could get serviced. We come back that evening & it STILL wasn’t serviced. ATP we were tired of talking and asking so we just stopped.
- 1/5
No parking, QR code in room to scan for food is terrible, I ordered via their QR code posted and wait almost 2 hours for chips and “homemade” salsa. Had to pick it up after selecting ‘delivery to room’. Then being told that ordering on the website doesn’t work. (Then why have it posted in the room) phone didn’t work to call it in either. Salsa was most definitely NOT homemade at all, Cheap picante salsa. Requested towels twice and had to go down twice for them after being told they’d bring them up and never did. Floors stained terribly in the room. Heard people in the floor above us walking all day and all night. Awful place. Complimentary bottles of water in the rooms are only for elite members not the average guests that pay $500 a weekend.
- 4/5
It would have been great if we weren't in the middle of a bunch of homeless camps.
- 4/5
Construction around building and sure it is temporary
- 4/5
Bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Bathroom with separate sink area was quite nice. Carpet was in need of some significant cleaning.
- 5/5
Everybody was friendly. We were warned about the construction and it really wasn't very bad. No complaints!
- 4/5
Hotel was clean and rooms were sizable. Unfortunately I was staying during a remodel of the exterior of the hotel and the parking was limited with the construction staging area taking up a good part of the lot..
- 5/5
👍
- 4/5
Everything was good.
- 5/5
Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Staff were always happy, smiling and helpful. I will stay there again.
- 4/5
Free EV charging. A nice gym, and pool. But $10park fee and $15/person "buffet" breakfast is a bit much. Was just a standard hotel contential bfast.
- 2/5
Our room was on
- 5/5
Staff was excellent and so helpful.

The hotel was very difficult to locate, as no visible signs except fronting I-5, which were impossible to see ... the main entrance (driveway) was blocked with no signs or arrows directing traffic. there was, when all the guests showed up, a distinct lack of "free parking" as advertised. The charges totaled $375 per night with a total charge of over $825... If all the construction was done, and nice, 375 peer night for this room was double what it might be worth! I had to ask for maid service, twice before it arrived, once at the desk, and once to the maid in the hallway. the room overlooked I-5 and Market Street, apparently a drag racers haven... noise at all hours... I wish i had taken pictures... the shrouding of the hotel with scaffolding and netting was foreboding, with guests parking among construction vehicles including driving under a raised "cherry picker " crane. The beds were made with all pillows exposed and featuring a raised embroidered pattern that made it impossible to sleep on without putting a ridge into one's face... so only useable on one side... I wish i'd taken photos of the exterior of the hotel, but i didn't.

Staff was friendly and acomodating, due to construction the building it was a little loud and the fire alarm went off in our room.
- 5/5
It was just a routine stopover stay on the way to Seattle.
- 4/5
There were a few drawbacks. The Wi-Fi was down the first night, though it was thankfully restored by the second. Parking was a bit of a hassle due to nearby construction. Additionally, the scent of the in-room toiletries—shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion—was quite strong and leaned heavily masculine. A more neutral or natural fragrance might be more universally appealing. Overall, despite a few minor issues, the friendly service and amenities made for a comfortable stay.

There was only one towel rack in the bathroom. Only one trash can in the whole room and it was in the bathroom. We found either cat food or baby cereal when we scooted the coffee table a bit. It was obviously recently remodeled and some of the workmanship was bad, but the fixtures were brand new and the shower was walk in with a glass door, which would randomly open while you were in there. Breakfast was supposed to be free. It says so on my Expedia receipt. But they said it’s $15 each so we went to McDonald both days The bed and sheets were nice, seemed clean. After the fact we realized, we don’t think there was a TV in the room. It obviously didn’t matter to us, but depends what type of trip you’re on.

There was construction occurring at the time of our stay, still it was a nice property.
- 2/5
There is limited parking and not enough for the guests. There is no WiFi.

HOTEL IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION. ROOM WAS CLEAN BUT THE BEDS WERE VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. BREAKFAST MAY OR MAYNOT BE INCLUDED WITH YOUR STAY.
- 4/5
Not used to having to pay extra for breakfast The staff and rooms were great.
- 2/5
Researched 4 star hotels for our stay. Once we got to location we were surprised that hotel was under construction. Workers started banging about 7am. Water pressure was extremely weak making showering a lil rough. NOT HAPPY
- 2/5
Clean rooms- the entire hotel was under construction. Right off the freeway, loud street racing at night. 6 cars were broken into in the parking lot over night and security cameras weren't working due to the construction. For $325 a night this place was a joke.

Excellent hotel! Convenient location within walking distance to various restaurants, shopping stores, Powell’s book store, plus more. We came for a concert at the MODA center, and so glad we stayed here. The hotel was safe and secure, amazing breakfast, ALL employees were professional and kind. We were able to do a late checkout and also did valet parking - though it can be expensive to some, it’s a great investment as they park the vehicles in a secure garage. Look forward to future stays at this hotel!

Sub par breakfast

Carpet in room had food uncleaned.

The property was under construction and located next to the freeway entrance. There was homeless encampments across the street. We also saw someone walking in the parking lot late at night with a large flashlight that was not security or part of the hotel.
- 5/5
Even though they were under reconstruction, parking was easy and navigable. Construction equipment clearly marked and out of the way. Hotel was clean and super easy to check in to. Staff was nice and friendly, helpful with questions we had. Will definitely stay here again!

We were just passing through. The room was very neat and clean.
- 5/5
My car got broken into.
- 3/5
Decent spot, friendly staff. Why do they only have one garbage can in the room and none in the bathroom? And no towels in the bathroom, just out in the main area… some minor stuff but overall decent. Pricey though, there’s their place we stayed had double the towels for half the price and was just as nice, bigger parking lot, quieter….

Comfortable bed.

Did not feel like part of Hilton Chain. Active construction and $10 daily parking fee not mentioned at time of booking
- 3/5
Had half the building open to construction so the hall ways were very cold. VERY limited parking. But other than that it was a good room and clean place, we will be back once construction is complete.
- 4/5
It's getting pretty aged but that's to be expected with a doubletree. The elevator was broken or under repair so it was kind of a pain to leave with so many bags. And loud construction at 8 am but other than that staff was awesome
- 5/5
Very nice hotel room, very quiet at night, everything is nearby by.
- 4/5
Suspect criminal activity in the immediate area.
- 1/5
Under construction, $10.00 charge for parking, charge also for continents breakfasts
- 3/5
Some thick film on the head board… was thick and milky..super gross. We had Clorox wipes in our bag and were able to wipe clean. Super yucky. Other than that everything was great
- 3/5
The construction was not known until after booking just a small spot on a email that was not very clear. $10 extra for parking in a construction zone with limited parking already. Hot rib was out of order all around not a pleasant experience.

On the street the place doesn’t have enough space to park, half of the hotel were under construction I paid. $355 per two night Never again hotels.com not work to book it o will have to say goodbye and look for different place to book my rooms

We had two late events and the restaurant said they would be open until 11:00 so we planned to come back and eat at the hotel but we got back at 10:05 and there the lady said the kitchen was closed so we have to drive around to find a place that was open on a Saturday night. * when checked out we discovered we were charged 3 breakfasts. They had hotel breakfast that they charged $9.00 a person. * we also discovered they charge $10.00 a night to park in the hotel parking lot. The second night we had to park next door at the STARS STRIP CLUB because the hotel parking lot was full. Due to construction, there was less parking than normal. POSITIVE: the beds are comfy and the pillows are great.

The staff was friendly. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay

Right off interstate is nice. Check in was easy. Jamie was great.

Got woke up by nailing at 8. Sounded like on our window sill. It was next door. The bath room fan was on all the time we were there. No switch to turn it off. Only light switch in bathroom had to close door. Yes we looked outside of bathroom. Not the first hotel stay. Only had one coffee packet and one decaf . Bed was hard. They charge for parking which they said they waved. They took $75 deposit so we will see.

Very clean

Staff was very nice and kind. Check-in and the person helping said, out loud, you are in room 206. Seems like room number should not be said aloud for safety reasons. Go to our room, open the door, the room had not been cleaned from the previous guest! Poop in the toilet, towels on the ground, bed slept in from previous guest. Went back to front desk and given a different room. This room was clean, thankfully. Hallways in hotel are freezing! Construction work being done and open air from the outside. Really cold! Breakfast was cold, need a better heating system to keep the hot food (eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage) hot. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Location is right next door to a strip club.

Neat and clean

Hotel under renovation. Be aware that there is a $10 per day parking fee that is in the fine print. Limited parking spaces.

Cool

Good. Right next door to a strip club… just FYI. But still clean. In house bar. Near good restaurants.

I was checked into a room that had not cleaned. Dirty sheets. dirty towels on the floor, dirty coffee cups. The vent in the bathroom was on all night, too noisy to sleep, and it No hot water in the shower in the morning. It was impossible to set the alarm on the clock in my room. I didn't get my wake up. call. That and the alarm were real problem was I had to be at the hospital for a biopsy at 7:15 a.m. Not fun with no sleep. Never again will I stay at a Hilton.

Terrible
- 4/5
I was not aware they charge for parking a 10.00 fee and I only had one vehicle I could understand if it was covered parking or had security
- 4/5
The property is great! Wish they had more options for breakfast. Coffee was good. Easy to get on and off freeway to travel. Room was very quiet and beds were super comfortable!
- 5/5
Great staff easy parking
- 5/5
I loved everything about the place the only thing is those charges the $10 parking fee and then the breakfast additional 9.95 and then the security deposit i was told 70 but i got charged $90 on my card ,lets say 70 for the deposit and then 10 bucks for the parking fee so that leaves 5 dollars in the air where is it at??? But overall a 10 !!!!
- 2/5
The room was riddled with carpet stains and apparently the lobby is the local hangout for transients. We were ready to check out.

I typically stay at Doubetree hotels and never have issues but this one was just not comfortable. Our room had a distinct smell and just overall very loud and noisy. We constantly heard bangs and people talking which made it so difficult to sleep. Will not stay here again
- 5/5
I don't remember the name of the lady that checked us in but she was very sweet and accommodating. I loved our stay at the doubletree. I must admit that their goose down pillows were amazing while I slept
