Reviews
The hotel has received mixed reviews, with guests appreciating the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms, but expressing disappointment with the lack of a proper breakfast and issues with the Wi-Fi. The location of the hotel is generally praised, but some guests have encountered problems with the key cards and the cleanliness of the bathrooms.
- Clean and comfortable rooms
- Great location
- No proper breakfast, only granola bars and juice
- Issues with Wi-Fi and key cards
- 2/5
The property was dirty and unkempt, and the door to my unit was damaged and half a half inch gap between the door and frame which made the room very cold. Staff was completely unhelpful, saying as long as the door latched it was fine.
- 4/5
While the breakfast is lacking, the staff were wanderful and very nice. The pool, exercise room, and sona where great. A nice place to relax as there not usually a lot of people in them! Parking is first come but there a lot of spots for parking!
- 2/5
It was a dark dingy room with only one window to look out at the parking lot. Big old comforter on the bed which look like it hadn't been cleaned in days. The staircase and the rugs going up to the second level look like they had been worn for many years and never cleaned or vacuumed. At least the bathroom towels were beautiful the bed was comfortable and the sheets were at least clean. Not the best location in town! From the pictures that look like everything was in the same area as a hotel but this looks more like a motel where you walk across the parking lot to get to your room. Could hear everything from the highway to the people outside the parking lot area. Staff was friendly staff was great just would not be my first choice to return to.
- 1/5
The pillows were half the size of a normal pillow. Very uncomfortable. Air conditioning was extremely loud and didn't work well
- 4/5
Cheap, clean and shabby
- 4/5
room is clean,nice staff
- 3/5
The room was very clean but very outdated
- 1/5
Fridge didn’t work, we had to wait tell after 10 for them to come fix the tv. Guy was nice rooms were not that bad but for the price not worth it. It was really disappointing.
- 4/5
We checked in very late when we got into town. Was easy (handled at the Night Window) and we were in our rooms in no time. The rooms were fine, they each had three beds in them! A little dirty but tbh it’s a big property and I’m sure hard to keep up with deep cleaning so it didn’t bother us much. The prices are reasonable. Parking was easy for us.
- 3/5
Very dated and dingy hotel. AC didn’t work very well. Felt like a roadside motel
- 4/5
The property is well priced for its age and condition. It's near the freeway but the sound is not a problem, just background noise. Check-in was quick and the room was sufficient for my needs.
- 1/5
The hotel is a work in progress. Needs updating and some tweaks to make it much better. Front desk was super friendly and we had a seamles checkin, beds are comfortable and the towels are really nice.
- 5/5
The breakfast could be better it hade coffee oj and apple juice and granola bars that’s it
- 1/5
Dogs barking all night and people fighting people getting evicted from property to hear them fighting and screaming yelling again in the next room over. Sounded like furniture being thrown and a full out rearrange of furniture or like fixtures being ripped from walls. Staff was of little help saying people were evicted two hours prior, lady at front desk was so looped I don’t think she understood what we were telling her. Avoid this place.
- 4/5
Easy access. Food and stores nearby. Rooms were clean. Excellent pool with hot tub. Easy parking.
- 2/5
The room seemed to be moderately clean, although there were gooey spots on the night stand that I cleaned with a damp wash cloth. The front door had previously been kicked in and had been repaired by an amateur and, while it did close, it did very little to keep the draft from seeping in around the edges. There was an HVAC unit that wasn't responsive and I gave up on getting any heat out of it. Shortly after midnight, the blower came on at full volume and that lasted less than a minute. At 5:00, it woke me again and at least this night was over. I started to make coffee and started filling the reservoir. Imagine my surprise when a well-used coffee bag floated to the top. I was somewhat relieved to see that it wasn't a mouse, but I did gag a little. I carried the whole thing to the sink and dumped it out. The reservoir was filthy and I scrubbed it with the tiny bar of soap and a wash cloth. I had some Q-tips in my bag and I supposed that it was clean enough. I didn't get any obvious diseases so I guess I'm fine.
- 5/5
I loved that the hot tub was on my room
- 5/5
tub nothing
- 4/5
It was a decent room except there was rat poop on top of the counter space. Just wiped it up ourselves because we needed a place to stay for the weekend.
- 3.5/5
Pool amazing. Staff was nice. Location great. Nice room. Breakfast was a chewy bar…
- 4/5
Great job all around
- 4/5
I wanted to extend my stay and the office said there was they're awful only had one room with three beds and I had to pay more and then after that I look numbering.com and there was available rooms so that was kind of upsetting and then the bathtub was dirty but everything else is great
- 4/5
it’s. good place
- 1/5
Very dirty inside and smells
- 5/5
Close to the fair grounds. Even though close to I5 you don't really hear the traffic noise
- 3/5
There was a cigarette burn in my bed spread although a non-smoking room which also had a strange smell, and the screen in the bathroom was broken, but the staff was nice and the bears were cute.
- 5/5
Everything is good
- 5/5
Good staff, good parking and location
- 3/5
The carpet on the walkway outside the room actually had hazardous holes, rips and tears. I looked forward to using the pool, but I was informed by staff that it wasn't heated. The cleaning staff was nice.
- 2.5/5
Attention to detail on cleaning could have been better. There was sticky stuff on my nightstand and somebody's old eyelashes on the floor. Child had been riding on the side of the nightstand and I know that they can't really do anything to get out permanent marker and the bathtub was peeling. I understand these are just old rooms that need maintenance. I think the most outputting thing was whatever was sticky on my nightstand and somebody's old eyelashes. I felt like the room was not as clean as it could have been
- 3/5
Size of the room! Awesome! Big hot tub! Room for 12+? Great temperature! Pool area was nice. Pool was chilly but good. My Q bed was good. Quiet firm and clean. Easy to find. Near stores and gas and food and highway. . PLEASANT KIND STAFF! CLEAN towels and bedding. Nice heavy warm covers. Good TV. Great air flow from AC system. Cute shallow pool area for young children. Lobby was very pretty, well designed and decorated. Big parking lot! Quiet location, no loud traffic noises. Tons of towels in room, all in great shape and clean. Fridge was cold! Working great! Hubby's bed was sooo loud-creaky with the slightest move. Loud enough to wake the dead. Every. Single. Move. AC system was so loud. Repairs in wall around it were poorly done. Cabinet was placed in sink area in strange place. No clothing bar. No place to hang clothes. No hangers. Hot tub jets inoperable. Both saunas out of order. Shower curtain used as drop cloth? Paint on it, ripped and worn out. Had to walk to hotel office to get pool towels. Only slightly inconvenient.
- 1/5
When we first entered the room, there was a strong stagnant and stale smell. We turned on the air conditioning and opened the window to improve the airflow, assuming the room may have simply been closed up for some time. Additionally, the bathroom door would not close properly. After we had all showered and walked around the room barefoot, our feet became completely dirty — as if we had been walking outside; it was disgusting. Please see the attached photos. Mine were even worse, but I had to clean them before bed because they were so dirty. To make matters worse, when I opened the bathroom window, I found a piece of used gum as well as black mold. The following morning, we went expecting the advertised breakfast. However, when I asked the front desk about it, we were only offered a granola bar and coffee. That is not what most families, especially those traveling with children, would consider breakfast. It felt very misleading, as the included breakfast was one of the reasons we chose to stay at your hotel. Overall, this experience was very disappointing, and I wanted to bring these concerns to your attention.
- 3/5
The room was clean, clean linens, clean bathroom. Overwhelming "deodorizer/cleaning agent" smell in the room when I first checked in. Dissipated through my stay, but still very strong. Room didn't get "made up" or towels replaced on my second day, but no big deal. There were some homeless camped out on roads and streets immediately around the property, but didn't seem to come on hotel property. I'd stay again for the price, but would not bring my wife or family to stay here. It's a bed and a shower. Perfect for my related trip and stay. That's all I can attribute to this property.
- 4.5/5
Nothing
- 5/5
Staff was very nice. Housekeeping took good care of my room.
- 0.5/5
The bed was comfortable and the location was great ³ We booked the "special room" with a whirlpool bath. There were ao many issues with this room. The whirlpool tub had stains that were poorly repaired. There was peeling paint in several areas. There was a concerning stain on the carpet. The toilet paper holder was hanging by a thread. The platform bed frame was so dusty. And, the furniture looked like it was picked up by the side of the road. Two nights for $357 only to be miserable. I will add that I have been chronically ill for almost two years, and this trip was meant to be finally a fun getaway This room definitely caused us stress. When my husband voiced his concerns to the manager, he received no apology and his defense was people love the room, the motel is in rhe process of being renovated and he would refund $40. The idea of packing up and finding another hotel was not feasible. My husband's point to him was if it is their premium. room , then they should have considered renovating it first. Overall eperience at this hotel was terrible.
- 3/5
We. Check out. Early. Only sat n Sunday night mother died. Sunday. No longer need a stay. So hoping refund aloted
- 1.5/5
Comfortable bed Walls needed repair...just seemed shoddy
- 3/5
Room was clean and proximity to highway was great
- 1/5
Just the one room I was in few months back the remote didn't work just to find out it was the wrong remote in the room and they had to get me the right one for the tv just for the sink to back up at that time
- 5/5
tub more towels
- 5/5
Clean comfortable with a nice hot shower No complaints
- 1/5
I did a reservation at one price and since I checked in at 8 pm they charged me like 100 dollars more.
- 2.5/5
It does have a pool and hot tub and access to the retro gym. This facility has so much potential. It once had a dining room, bar, three conference rooms, tennis court, saunas, retro 80s gym, and more. This could really be a sweet retreat if properly managed. Right now it’s a bit run down. No actual breakfast. False advertisement. This facility has so much potential. It once had a dining room, bar, three conference rooms, tennis court, saunas, retro 80s gym, and more. This could really be a sweet retreat if properly managed. Right now it’s a bit run down. The sheets had hair and a yellow discoloration at the head of the bed. Really needs new management that love the art of hotel management.
- 4/5
Clean quiet and comfortable Nothing
- 1/5
No hot water the room looked like it was still under construction like the rest of the property it took 24 hours to move us to a room that was not properly clean. Rotten food in fridge. Never going back.
- 3/5
The bar was pretty low considering my one night stay only cost me $86 but the room was in poor condition. The tub faucet leaked and apparently the cleaning staff just put the plug in it to keep us from hearing it drip. The sheets had cigarette burns on them and the blanket had some sort of stain on it. They were doing some remodeling but they hadn't done the room we were in yet. In my opinion, they shouldn't be renting the rooms that were in a similar condition. Because of that, I'll never stay there again.
- 1/5
Didn’t feel safe, heater in room didn’t work and one of the bathroom sinks didn’t drain. Also there was hair on the toilet seat when we checked in
- 2/5
Safe quiet. Clean and accessible. They had a crew doing work in room above and started hammering on floor with carpet work at 8 when I was still sleeping.
- 2.5/5
Room smelt so bad, had to open door and spray perfume. Found empty condom box in room. Bathtub was old and nasty. The water comes out yellow. Breakfast was a granola bar and juice. Homeless camps and people living in cars. Very old outdated buildings.
- 3/5
NO BREAKFAST JUST COFFEE AND ORANGE JUICE
- 3/5
A drug deal took place 2 spaces from our door in the parking lot. 10 minutes after we arrived. Another room 3-4 doors from ours had 3-4 adults and as many kids. Unloaded 3 bags of groceries and a watermelon. I never saw anyone leave. Seemed to be many thin run down white guys walking all around. Seemed hopelessly meandering. Never approached me but unsettling.
- 1/5
It's not what the photos show, and besides, they're hosting homeless people who don't let you sleep... the light fixture in my bathroom wasn't protected.
- 1/5
It was close to the bowling alley where we had a tournament. It was dirty. There was hair in the tub, sink and on the table. There was a dirty used towel left in the cabinet. There was crumbs everywhere. There was no chain lock on the door. There was people constantly outside-pretty sure I saw a drug deal happen too! There was holes in the walls.
- 1.5/5
The room was not clean fully there was dried pee on the toilet seat, floor was not cleaned, other furniture was not clean and the some of outlets did not work.
- 1/5
Room was very small for a king bed. Shower had some mold, bathroom door seemed like it had water damage. Room wasn’t good enough for the price charged.
- 4/5
Hot tub was the perfect temperature! All the staff we talked to were very helpful and friendly. Room was clean. The only problem we had was the bathroom fan didn't work.
- 3/5
Pool No breakfast
- 4.5/5
One granola bar for ADVERTISED breakfast! Come on.
- 1/5
The room door had cracks that let the light in and it was missing the chain to lock the room and it had a wired smelled the room
- 2/5
That said, the room felt very outdated. The shower curtain rod was barely holding on, and the hairdryer looked like it had not been cleaned in decades. There was no vent fan in the bathroom, which likely explains the visible mold inside one of the light fixtures. One of the lights did not work at all, making the space even dimmer. There were holes in the walls where items had been removed and never patched. No extra towels or pillows were available, so what you arrive with is what you get. The bed frame was the most memorable part. The mattress was great, but the metal base sticks out and will absolutely catch your shins, toes, or knees. It feels like an obstacle you forget about until it reminds you. The walls are very thin, so even quiet conversations from nearby rooms come through clearly. The surrounding area also felt uneasy, with visible encampments nearby and regular foot traffic around the property. Overall, it delivers on price, but you will feel where those savings come from.
- 2/5
I stayed here years ago. So, i thought i.would again. Complete example you get what younpay for. Rooms are ok. The AC was so loud it made it near impossible to sleep. I ended up turning it off making it warmer than i prefer. The area it was in is less than desirable. Finally, there is.no breakfast. Juice and granola bars. I didnt bother and went to Starbucks instead. I.will never stay there again.
- 4/5
Ice machine works
- 4/5
Bed was super comfortable and comforter was thick and comfy
- 4/5
Nice place to stay
- 3/5
The suite was okay. There was water damage in the room around the hot tub, and people walked up and down the stairs and the room above us all night. Left early due to no sleep. The staff was nice and good location on and off I-5.
- 2/5
Door only had one deadbolt, no chain. Bathtub had blood or rust in it. Roomed smelled like a smoking room. Breakfast was advertised but they only give you one granola bar, nothing else. Coffee was offered but it came from a machine, not fresh-brewed. Staff was very nice - but the rooms and property need an overhaul or deep cleaning very badly. Don’t advertise that you offer breakfast if it’s just a bowl of granola bars.
- 5/5
The rooms are clean and spacious. Pet friendly and the staff is super friendly and helpful.
- 3/5
the smell of the homeless camps was quite pungent when outside and it wasn't even hot out.
- 4/5
It worked for what we needed it for.
- 1/5
To start with it took them three different times to try to find a room for me and my family two rooms were still under being renovated but they tried to put us in. And then the facilities like the jacuzzi was broken eyes were broken. The bed is very extremely uncomfortable and had a very hard little pillows that reminded you of couch throw clothes.
- 1/5
Over booked us front staff was rude on the getto in Salem stay somewhere else.
- 3/5
No extra blankets or pillows. Cleanliness was spotty.
- 2/5
Homeless camps were being cleaned up by police and mental health staff from the adjoint fence line when we arrived. the pictures for the room listed were out of date.
- 4/5
It's a good value. The rate for the room is adequate and the hotel is in a good central location.
- 5/5
Facility is a bit outdated, but for price, cleanliness, added pool, hot tub, work out room and location to restaurant stores it was a great stay. Front desk was awesome.
- 5/5
The first room we had the mattress was wet seems like peed in it , we ask for a new room and the guy was nice and gave us a different room
- 5/5
The gym made this place
- 5/5
Everything was excellent except for the folks above me who were pretty noisy until about 3am.
- 1/5
The room the remote for tv wasn't the right one then they gave me 2 other remote for the tv those didn't work then I went to use the macorwave and it was not plugged in then the sink was plugged up in the pipe somewhere cause it to plug up in the sink
- 2/5
The room had a shower and tub but it wouldn't drain had to stand in dirty shower. There was no hot tub it smelled like mold and very dirty. There were no towels for the pool I had no ice bucket in my room and no continental breakfast like they say
- 5/5
Everything was clean and room was nice.
- 1/5
This place is terrible. No extra towels or blanket but they have a pool. WiFi does not work and if you have any issue they will tell you they cannot cancel your room.
- 1/5
Dirty room, no pool towels, no regular towels, no extra blanket, no WiFi.
- 1/5
Loud. TV and WiFi both didn’t work. Front desk less than helpful.
- 1/5
Hanging bar inside a cabinet tucked under a cross-room shelf in the most awkward way possible. Faucet loose over the sink and flow restricted to low speed dribble. A steel bar protruded from under the mattress on all sides--frigid extra 'touch' when getting in or out of bed to compliment the lack of heat in the room. I informed staff at check out. They tried to act all surprised, but then gave me a list of things I should have tried. They wouldn't have such a list if they didn't already know that room was garbage. I'd booked and paid for the room almost a week in advance. Yet I got the most garbage room they had in the last building 'where the wifi is kinda slow,' too. "Kinda" slow and had other bad behaviors like arbitrarily closing web pages, taking a full minute to load Gmail, etc. My phone couldn't connect to the wifi either.
- 5/5
The room was nice and clean. I loved the hot tub definitely will be staying here again. We are from California
- 3/5
room was older, 3/5 rating staff, 4/5
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 1/5
Room was smelly area sketchy and even though i slept on tip of blankets they charged me 35.00 for some stain
- 5/5
Muy buen servicio todo fue muy rápido 👌
- 5/5
This place is always a great place to stay its quiet, beds are better than my bed at home. Friendly staff, and a gym, pool, and a hot tub. I always relax here......when im here...
- 3/5
All good. But noisy heater!
- 2/5
WiFi had to be troubleshot Everything closed at 10 and I booked it for the hot tub which was chilly. Room keys stopped working 30 before checkout Staff was nice
- 5/5
Amazing staff love the pool
- 4/5
Staff was very nice
- 1/5
The owner walked by my room numerous times never stopped. Front desk said they would bring new towels! Never happened.
- 1/5
Take the money and it doesn't matter! So sad!
- 5/5
My favorite place to stay in Salem. I work there a lot.
- 5/5
This is my go to Hotel to stay. Front Desk are very patient and helpful, even when your dog is listed as the main person staying! : ) that was hilarious for the front desk! The hotel updated rooms not too long ago! They are updating again! Great Job!
- 3/5
Reasonable for a lower cost option.
- 4/5
Clean room, friendly service. Close to freeway. The pool and jacuzzi were not appealing at all.
- 5/5
Nice place
- 3/5
No cold water in bathroom sink, hot water only, quite scalding.
- 4/5
Friendly desk clerk at checkin.
- 1/5
When I was else where it goes fast except when I was at day's inn it was going slow I couldn't even get on to to hotels.com when I arrived just to book the room and I wasn't able to get into my direct express card mobile app when I was there because how slow my phone data was during my stay
- 2/5
The rooms were old with stained sheets rugs that smelled furniture that was water stained windows were also stained. Hot tub had a cover over it and when we mentioned it checking out we were told we could have removed it. Breakfast was granola bars and juice
- 1/5
Everything sucked
- 5/5
Clean room. Great restaurant nearby.
- 5/5
I travel to Salem once a month. The Days Inn is my goto - it is a great value for the price. Clean and well maintained.
- 5/5
The night staff was awesome! He was great and understood circumstances and worked with us getting the deposit to him
- 3/5
Only staff member I met was very friendly. However, the hotel is rundown. It could use some love. If I was in a pinch, I would stay there again, however.
- 5/5
Room clean, nice jacuzzi, everything good, very good sleep, older motel, everything works 😊
- 1/5
They have a convention center there that had a group of people playing extremely loud music past 10:00. As someone with medical conditions this was very frustrating because I could not sleep until the people left the conversation center and then had to get up early the next day as I had places to be.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly
- 2/5
No issues with parking
- 1/5
Property was next to a homeless camp and the staff was rude and I'd have been from the camp
- 2/5
The ice machine didn’t work-
- 2/5
The office had a weird smell. The front deck told us we could removed the poo cover, no sorry that’s your job, not mine. He did after some promoting. Rooms AC was a ln issue. It was a decent cheaper place to stay with a family but I don’t think we’d stay again.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly and room was clean
- 5/5
I love the hot tub suite. The bathtub was roomy and I love the jets. It was a quiet night not a lot of traffic will be staying again!
- 3/5
The room was adequate. The bed was comfy. The parking was a little tight but okay. The exterior was a bit dinghy.
- 5/5
Amazing amenities for the price. Convenient to stores and downtown Salem.
- 5/5
It's was quite until I started hearing music through the wall
- 3/5
You get what you pay for. If you just need a place to sleep, this is good enough. If your hotel is part of your traveling experience, spend the extra on anything better.
- 4/5
A lot of homeless in the evening hanging around.
- 3/5
Basic motel off of Lancaster. Nothing updated. Smell
- 1/5
Rooms at this place should not be as expensive as they were. It is a very shady part of town with lots of homeless people on the sidewalk, in the parking lot and behind the hotel. I did not feel safe at all. The water had a yellow tint to it and I had to go buy bottled water for my dog. If I wouldn't drink it, my dog isn't going to either. I didn't even take a bath as the water was that gross.
- 3/5
The front staff were very nice & helpful. The location is a bit questionable-there were a lot of people hanging around that didn't make me feel exactly safe outside. The rooms were not dirty, but didn't feel exactly clean either.
- 5/5
Wonderful staff and room was picture perfect
- 5/5
Staff were very kind and the amenities were nice. Clean facilities.
- 3/5
- Highway noise. + Very helpful staff. + Located next to supermarket, restaurants, ..
- 5/5
Parking and location
- 1/5
The only good thing about this property is that it was had decent parking. It was quiet and not overcrowded. The bad thing was it’s not worth the price we had bedbugs in both of our rooms did not get a refund and said they moved me to another room, which had bedbugs in that room as well the only three people in that entire building that were kind to me and my kids. I don’t know their names, but they work in the front office at the desk two men, and one lady they should get raises for having to deal with a slumlord boss, nasty ass conditions and bedbugs in the bedrooms that’s disgusting and so much dust on the curtains. No one the bedbugs are all over the place. I had to wash my stuff four times just to make sure I didn’t bring anything back into my camper. Trailer will never visit this place again. It should be shut down sold and give it to somebody who actually takes care of a hotel property
- 1/5
The air conditioning unit was so loud you couldn't hear anything else. Had to kill bugs daily. No breakfast available, just coffee, juice, and granola bars. The room was very plain. The dark carpets made it easy to see that the edges weren't vacuumed and left the bottom of your feet black. Only basic tv channels. The only good thing to say was the staff was pleasant.
- 4/5
The property was decent for what it is. It’s a motel not a hotel. The room was mostly clean. Curtain and bed cover both had marks that looked like they needed washed. We appreciated having a room with three beds in it so there was room for the whole family. Beds were fine. Decent fridge and microwave so we could eat some meals in the room. Pool is indoors, good size, deep enough. Hot tub is huge.
- 3/5
The room was a bit dirty but I got what I paid for. Wifi is slow. And there were some homeless people camped out by the Denny's across the street
- 3/5
Staff and check in was good
- 3/5
What place doesn’t provide you with more towels when you ask for more? When I went and asked the front desk for more towels for the room I was told sorry the ones you got are the ones you get we don’t give out more room towels. Seriously?
- 3/5
Old place. Fair value for money. Convenient location. Felt safe. Just older property and it shows. Staff were nice. Room was clean. Would stay again
- 5/5
Good budget hotel! Definitely hasn’t been updated in a while, but it is clean, spacious, and convenient. Only bummer was that the breakfast menu advertised in the room is not currently happening. They have complimentary granola bars and juice which is totally fine… but they got me all excited about the waffle bar only to realize it didn’t exist.
- 2/5
Leaving was the best part!!!! The name Wyndham use to mean something NOT no more !! This is the 3rd nasty WYNDAM we have stayed at this year and the last WYNDAM we stay out!!!! And for god sakes change the smelly sticky nasty gross disgusting CARPET
- 4/5
At first the area looked a little sketchy. But the room was in better shape than I thought. Other than the ugly motel carpet, it was in pretty good shape. The bed was very comfortable for the stay. I’d stay here again on an overnight.
- 5/5
Nice front desk dude
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
It was great
- 4/5
Great management, very clean room. The only complaint I have is that the air conditioner is located in the bathroom and we had to purchase a fan to blow cold air into the room. (it was over 100 degrees outside). Other that that the property is clen. Lots of parking and it was very quiet considering the hotel seemed to be full.
- 4/5
Friendly and accommodating staff.
- 2/5
The property is located in a very convenient location. Walking distance from Fredmeyer and Dennies and all restaurants. However, it is also 1mile away from homeless camp where people are using drugs. When we arrive to our room 215 the room stinks feces!!! Dark and outdated and looks and smell unclean. The front desk lady is nice enough to switch us to room right next to it 214, and it smells a "tiny better" smells like damp carpet and old wash rag in the sink. I would like to switch room again, but I doubt they are any better. The pool is nice though, that is the only good thing about this place. 9ft level pool is definitely nice, but the sauna is not working. Our room appears outdated and looks like infested by creepy crawlies that I had to strip the mattress cover to see if it's safe. Thank God it's "clean" but I will never return to this place again. Overall, it's dirty and outdated. They can atleast strip all those carpets and change to vinyl for a more clean smell. I don't recommend this for family.
- 5/5
Thank you

place was dirty

BIG SPIDERS, 1/2 sized pillows, EXTREMELY LOUD AC. Coffee, Tea and granola bars does not equal “breakfast.”
- 5/5
Was clean, staff was nice, place for dog to run around outside
- 3/5
Facility is old. Indoor pool. Converted from an old Black Bear Inn.
- 4/5
So if you need a decent place to stay in the Salem area and have back pain, I highly recommend staying here.
- 5/5
Staff was great! I felt very comfortable and at ease! Thank you!!!
- 2/5
Run down
- 4/5
Right next to the freeway but wasn't top noisy. Snacks and coffee in the lobby. Staff is excellent!
- 3/5
The hot tub was mildly warm not hot but it worked fine. The pool was fine but too deep for no lifeguard. The room was hot even with the A/C set to 60. The only way to cool it was to open the windows fully, which limited our privacy. The food options are by far the best part of this location. We left a night early because the bed felt like sleeping on rocks. It was far too painful.

Jared was great! Good times!
- 4/5
It was a fun stay.
- 4/5
The front office was amazingly accommodating with the reservation you guys messed up. Thanks.

- 5/5
Arrived late and left early. Overall nice place, I will plan a stay there again.
- 2/5
There was no air conditioner in the first room, so she switch us without question but i had two kids and went from down stairs to upstairs so that kinda sucked.
- 5/5
Friendly, clean, quite
- 5/5
They went beyond to help us . Extremely helpful. It was a overall amazing experience.
- 3/5
The rooms are okay but the property is full of aging disrepair peeling paint floor covering on the landings is just thread bare and very dirty. . Thank goodness the room was clean.
- 3/5
There was a prostitute working the parking lot, our sheets were dirty upon checking in, returned them to front desk for new set, made bed ourselves! Pillowcases were brown yuck, gentlemen at front desk was slow and more helpful to men!
- 3/5
Close to needed roads.
- 4/5
Great dig park. Most comfortable bed. Great staff.
- 4/5
We have a good relax . Thanks 👍
- 4/5
Just off the 5 at Market, Dennys on the corner, Fred Myers just past Denny's with inexpensive gas. The east of 5 parallel road has lots of dining, shopping, and entertainment businesses.
- 1/5
Are bedding had blood and there were no housekeeping to changed the sheets. Front desk person was not helpful at all
- 3/5
The staff was great. Hardly any outlets worked so we had problems charging phones. The ac did not cool. Had to leave door open to cool room. Room spelled musty.
- 3/5
Seem to have everything for this kind of money. Other than an ugly empty lot next door and loud freeway everything else seemed to be adequate. Screaming kids and smelling noise in the spa jacuzzi but what the hell I'll pass again.
- 3/5
We needed a place to stay and did not want to spend a lot I money. The hotel rooms were clean and for the most part quiet. The office staff was very professional and polite.
- 2/5
We had a bullet come through the wall of our room, passing over my daughter's head and my son as they were sitting on their beds, next to mom's shoulder as she was walking in the room. Other son was in the bathroom. We are all OK, but got shaken up a quite bit. The shooter was a drive-by, already being pursued by the police when I called 911. My son found the 9mm bullet next to his bed after it ricochet off the far wall. I was scolded by the front desk clerk for calling 911 before the front desk. It took a couple of days for the cleaning crew to come in and clean the plaster dust off the floor and we spent the remainder of our visit with a bullet hole in the wall. Would have been nice if the hotel management had, at the least, checked in with us to make sure we were ok and to have them at least put a quick patch on the hole.
- 4/5
Inexpensive and no-frill hotel. Pool was working fine and water was nice and warm for kids to enjoy.
- 4/5
We had a great stay, other than the pool not having towels and the coffee maker in our room was broken.
- 4/5
Road trip traveler here so we didn’t stay long. But for the price it was exactly what we needed it for. Didn’t seem like a great area but we only really saw it at night time.
- 3/5
For older property it met all expectations.
- 3/5
People at the front desk were very nice. Room was clean .
- 3/5
Nice hotel for an overnight trip. Lots of dinning and shopping options.
- 4/5
Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. The microwave was not easy to unlock after er using it to reheat food. Amenities were very limited
- 2/5
Funny how a non-smoking room smells like a 50 year old cigarette ash tray. The smell of the room was so gross! I would not stay there again.
- 2/5
Everything about this room was gross. Bring your own bedding if you
- 5/5
The room was clean and had everything we needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
It was cleaned. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool area is amazing and perfect for kids it just adults. Great location too.
- 1/5
Parking for large vehicles was minimal, check in through a night window hmmm, lady walks up with a bed bug in a soap bag! I slept in my truck at a rest stop great experience
- 4/5
The room was very clean.
- 4/5
It’s a decent motel, the parking is accommodating, the staff was friendly
- 4/5
Friendly staff
- 5/5
nice
- 5/5
Good

This property is run down and barely holding together. Holes in walls and ceilings. Bad part of town. You offered this as a three star property. How about minus three stars. I would describe it as a dump.
- 2/5
Very dirty with poop on the wall and doors in bathroom. No stopper for bath tub. When i used a washcloth as a stopper it came out gross. Plus the web site "Hotel.com" stated breakfast was inclued. There was no breakfast.
- 2/5
We spent the extra money to get a better looking suite. The room was quite unmaintained. Visibly Dirty, paint and other eye sores and also the smallest pillows you could imagine to sleep with.
- 2/5
the smell in your lobby is horrendous. Clear indicator or mold attempted to be masked by cleaner. It was very off-putting to the point I didn't use the amenities of breakfast. The floor in our room had not been mopped...i opted to not use pool/hot tub out of cleanliness concerns
- 4/5
The rooms were good but the key cards didn't work half the time. The tub had draining issues and one of the duvet's was stained
- 3/5
My room was run down and there was plenty that was falling apart but it was pretty clean except for the tub, which had a bunch of hair in it. The carousel on the microwave didn’t work but it did heat food. There was a piece of loose trim on the fridge cabinet. But the bed was clean and comfy and I slept well.
- 5/5
I liked that it wasn't carpeted, it was very clean and even though its close to I-5, very quiet.
- 2/5
Gave us 2 rooms without furniture so I had to keep going back to get a new room. Finally when we got the room it was musty smelling . It is dog friendly so that was good
- 2/5
Hotel was old and in need of an upgrade. Furniture n beds are needing upgrade as well
- 1/5
I wouldn’t even give it one star except the night worker was very helpful to a bed bug situation and trying to help get our money back.
- 5/5
Clean and quiet. Only spent the night
- 4/5
Good property would stay again
- 5/5
No real frills, but more than worth it for the rate. Next door to a Denny’s and a Fred Meyer. Nice pool
- 5/5
It's was a good stay specially the housekeeper her names is viridiana she was great.
- 5/5
There are alot of homeless in the area
- 4/5
The place can use a little work but mostly acceptable. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Almost no water pressure in the shower. People were very nice.
- 5/5
Good stay a lot of places to eat close by
- 5/5
Overall okay, but the walls were cracking
- 3/5
The bed wasn't bad but the pillows were to small for a human. Also, the toilet seat was an odd shape and hard to sit comfortably on.
- 5/5
Ive been working with a company i. The area and dropped in on this hotel which i thought was a pretty nice spot for o some of the hot days..
- 4/5
Our trip was good over all. The property is pretty even though it is older and run down. We got a suite with a hot tub in the room. When we filled the hot tub amd turned on the jets a bunch of hair came out so we had to clean the tub. Other than that we really enjoyed it.
