Nice hotel. Beautiful landscaping. Friendly staff. Big rooms. Breakfast is at Dennys across the parking lot which we loved.

Other than that it was fabulous.

Totally adequate. Not unclean. Just really tired and super well-worn. The lobby has a superficial refresh. The rest of the property is really stuck in 1987 - walls are scuffed, honey-oak wood trim is all beat up and in need of refurbishing, and the countertops, sinks, and bathtubs are just super old. It will do the job, but it is not someplace that you will want to hang out in. The soaps / shampoos are just the cheapest little bottles that smell like chemicals. The breakfast amenity is at the Denny's across the parking lot. Meh. The staff were fine, not really leaning into hospitality, but then again if that was their jam they would be working elsewhere.

I loved my room. There were moments when it was noisy but quiet when I slept. I did not like the breakfast at Denny. Most of the motels that I stay have an in-house breakfast. I think the food is a better quality I got indigestion from Dennys

The Mill Creek Inn has exceptional customer service at the front desk. We were warmly welcomed at check in and received a wrapped cookie (much appreciated by weary travelers.) Check out was equally excellent, as the representative gave me information and instructions on how to use my Best Western program. We also liked having breakfast vouchers for Denny's. Had a great breakfast and great service! Parking was challenging, but not impossible.

The hotel was immaculate, staff extremely helpful, pool, spa, saunas, gym…all incredible! The business center was excellent, able to use pc and print! I really appreciated that. Coffee bar in lobby is off the hook awesome!!!!! Room was huge and well appointed with refer, micro, coffee pot and two sink areas! Mae and Misty obviously love their jobs and go way above and beyond!!!

This is a nice property. We had a large room with plenty of space. The person who checked us in did a great job of explaining all of the amenities and the cookies are a nice touch. This hotel gives you a lot of value and extras that you have to pay for other places. They partner with Denny's for breakfast and it is nice that you get a hot cooked breakfast or you can also choose to upgrade with $10 towards any other menu item if you don't want the included choice. We got in later in the evening and parking was getting full in the front but there was plenty more around the sides of the building. Would definitely stay here again when in the Salem area.

Breakfast at Denny’s was a mess. You basically had a choice of two eggs, toast, and sausage or bacon. Or you get ten dollars towards a full price item which did include a beverage. We would have much preferred the traditional hot breakfast they have at other comparable hotels. Rooms looked old and need a refresh. Overall a 3.5, because it felt clean but a lot was lacking.

However, there were a few significant downsides: Cleanliness: The bathroom cleaning was subpar and could have been much better. Noise: The soundproofing was very poor. I could clearly hear people talking and doors slamming in other rooms, which made it very difficult to get a good night's sleep. Breakfast: Unlike other Best Western hotels that offer a full breakfast buffet, this location only provided a coupon for Denny’s. Having experienced much better breakfasts at other branches, this was quite disappointing. While there were some positives, the lack of quiet and the breakfast situation make it hard for me to choose this place again for my next stay.

The breakfast was a coupon for credit at the Denny ‘s next door. Not ideal when you’re on a time crunch to get out the door to softball tournament 😬. Wish it had been more clear in the description of the breakfast, I missed it until we checked in.

The front desk staff at check in was great. The room was ok, definitely needed some upgrades. The noise in the hallway literally all night is was ruined it. They put us on the 3rd floor because “it was the quietest floor.” There were people running up and down the hall yelling. It was the worst noise in a hotel I’ve ever experienced.

Sauna room was locked and unavailable. But the property was excellent! Only negative part was the Older lady at the front desk . We walked in and she didn’t acknowledge us. She continued to stay on the phone gossiping.

We only received two vouchers although we had four guests. The breakfast vouchers for the Denny’s next door— well they only compensated 4$ per voucher instead of the stated $10 off. So I ended up spending more than I’d have preferred with the “free breakfast.”

Some families in our group had to sign waivers because they had a sports player but other guests do not. Supposedly everyone has to follow the same rules but if you travel due to sports there is a pre-judgement on your family and their responsibility. There are other guests that had all kinds of noise and kids that kept other rooms awake, but because we travel for volleyball, we had to sign this waiver.

The room was clean! The front desk staff were all friendly. Merry was especially helpful and friendly. She coordinated a battery jump with maintenance to get is on our way. The maintenance gentleman was extremely helpful and patient! They made all the difference that day.

We were just pleasantly surprised by this best western! They had delicious cookies for all four of us when we arrived! The Dennys breakfast was fun for the kiddos. Room was clean and comfortable.

Large room and quite good shape. Had a bath tub and a double bathroom (toilet and sink & sink), which was convenient for leaving a night light on in the toilet room. It had blackout or privacy curtains which we enjoyed and the pool area was very big and unique. A little coffee Corral in the lobby was also very nice. The fact that they give you a voucher for Denny’s next-door was a bonus! Having $10 off any Denny’s breakfast or a meal of eggs, bacon or sausage, hashbrowns, and toast. Happy with our stay.

Online they advertise full breakfast included, but its actually just a voucher for Dennys diner across the parking lot from the hotel, and they give you one option, so that was disappointing and we didn't use the breakfast voucher. Also, housekeeping knocked on our door and then entered our room, waking us up two hours before checkout.

The Best Western Plus Mill Creek Inn was a comfortable place to stay. It was close to the freeway, but not walking distance to downtown. The room was clean with nice amenities including real glasses and lots of streaming choices on the TV. The included Breakfast was freshly cooked by the Denny's next door. There was a large indoor pool and spa. The staff at checkin were efficient and even asked us which floor we preferred.

$10 voucher to Denny’s is great. Pool and spa are nice. Rooms and lobby are spacious. There’s not a lot to do in the immediate area, but it does feel safe.

We liked our room and the coffee, tea and water station by the lobby. We did not like that parents dropped their kids off at the pool. It was so loud and rowdy.

Family of 6. We got a corner suite with a separate bedroom & living area. There was a pull-out sofa bed in the living area and 2 queen beds. The hotel is nice, clean, and comfortable. Do not hesitate to book here!

This hotel was very nice, the staff were friendly, the property its self was clean and quiet even given its location near the airport and less than 5 minutes from the freeway. The room was very clean and a nice size. We were even able to check in 2 hours prior to the scheduled check in time which was a bonus and gave us time to relax before going to the state fair. There is also a meal voucher for Denny’s that is given at check in where you can pick between 2 options of either the complementary meal that is listed on the voucher or $10 off a menu priced meal. All and all I was very impressed with my experience at this hotel and give it an overall 10/10. I will definitely stay here again.

The customer service at front desk, super nice. Gym is nice, but the smell from the pool chlorine is bit much while working out, free breakfast good at the dennys. For the room, the tub was not draining, so that was kind of gross, the some faucet was loose and it smelt moldy or dusty in the room. We stayed in room 238. Our stay was June 19- thru Sunday.

Everything was really nice. Our only complaint is to please get new pillows. We stayed last year too and they were better.

The wheelchair accessibility of our room was the best we have encountered in many years of domestic and international travel. The room was spacious, allowing my wife to maneuver without my having to keep moving out of the way. The spacious bathroom allowed her maneuver comfortably, and the inward-opening door allowed her to be able to close the door on her own once she was in the bathroom. We definitively will stay here again when traveling in the area.

Our family always books Best Western. They are reliable and consistent. This stay, however, turned out to be mediocre at best. The room was clean, with a weird stale smell. The pool (indoor) was freezing. My kids who will swim in anything, did not make it very long due to the cold temperature of the water. For breakfast, I look forward to their tried and true offerings at most BW. This hotel, though advertised as complimentary breakfast, was actually coupons for Dennys. So I had to drag my family out to eat (they didn’t allow take out!) which added time, inconvenience, and more cost to our trip. I will not stay here again. There are so many more hotels in the area. Also, advertising is very deceiving. The breakfast should be stated as such before booking. I would have chosen a different hotel had I known I would have to take my family to Dennys.

The property is somewhat dated but has excellent features, including convenient location, convenient parking, convenient casual dining, excellent bed, very well equipped room and excellent layout of the facility. There were plenty of outlets for all of our devices with a well-designed layout room for overloaded travelers.

They have pool toys for the kids, whoch helped keep them busy and having fun. They had an espresso machine was yummy. The sauna was nice.

Didn’t stay long enough to develop a review

This property said it had free breakfast but they did not have a cafeteria on property. You had to go to the Dennys next door with a voucher. We had to wait one day an hour to get a table and the other day they had a computer system shutdown so no service at all. Very bad as we needed to eat before a funeral service. They also had a coffee machine in the lobby that only worked for the first 2 days then out of service. No maid service during our stay even though we asked for it. Not a very good experience… won’t be staying here again.

Staff were friendly. Delicious cookies on check in. Only down fall were the 12 teenagers in the pool who were so loud so hot tub time was cut short. They were having themselves a great time!

Beds were firm but comfortable enough to sleep. Our room was right by the enteancr to the hotel so we got to hear quite a bit of door slammining in the evening, but that is ti be excpected and not avoidable.
