Village Inn and Pub - Adults Only

One of the BEST places we have ever stayed. Location, staff, room and the pub were all top notch!

If you enjoy a dark room to sleep that is another issue. The mini fridge it has a clear door and is lit. This light stays on all day and night. One other concern is I think they are about to or already have a termite issue as one crawled on the bed( very easy to see on the white bedding). The positives are location and quietness. You can walk to several bars, restaurants and shopping.

This property had the charm of a boutique hotel without sacrificing any comfort in the room. The location was perfect and the property was nicely maintained and all around attractive. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxed setting.

Excellent staff, great place to stay for relaxing vacation or weekend getaway.

Breakfast was very good with lots of variety. The nightly entertainment was fun. It says it has a designated smoking area, but it was lacking any place to sit. They also said you could smoke in the parking lot but there weren’t any ash trays. There should also be a trash bin in the pool area. Will stay here again.

The Village Inn & Pub was perfect for our getaway. Located walking distance to great restaurants and the pier. But the best part was the hotel, our room was beautiful, pool area was a delight to sit out in the evenings and enjoy the beautiful plants. The icing on the cake was the pub, great staff and had karaoke the last night there. We will be back.

This little boutique hotel is in a perfect location for walk ability to restaurants and retail in downtown St. Simons. The staff are nice and professional. I highly recommend Village Inn and Pub for your next visit.

I have stayed at the village Inn a few times and always enjoyed my stay. The rooms are clean, location is excellent and the staff is friendly. We enjoy the live music at the pub. Unfortunately, this was a quick trip and we didn’t have the time to use the pool.

Property location was perfect for walking, shopping, restaurants and great photos around the sound and ocean. So convenient to the St. Simons Lighthouse! The property pub offered fun nightly events and the pool was a nice feature to lounge around. Our room was spacious with a lovely balcony overlooking the pool.

The room was very nice, albeit a bit too pricey. The breakfast was very nice. The property was well kept and the staff did a very nice job cleaning the room. Its location is excellent and parking was included. BUT, the internet was very disappointing. If fast internet is important to you, this is not the place for you. One of the individuals at the front desk conceded (on the phone) that that is a problem. We had a problem getting it at all one night, called, and were assured that their tech guy would be by the next day to check it out, but he never came. We just gave up. Staff at the front desk were not the friendliest in the world, but OK, with the exception of one individual, who said something I did not hear clearly and so I asked her to repeat it. She repeated it VERY loudly - close to screaming it - which I found very offensive, especially as a senior. Some sensitivity training and maturity would go a long way with her. We managed to enjoy our stay, despite the poor internet and rudeness by one individual, but would not stay there again.

The check-in person was not at all friendly, very cold. The rooms are beautiful, very clean. The bed is extremely comfortable. We were only disappointed by the staff around the grounds and in the breakfast bar area nobody’s friendly at all. The breakfast was good but they don’t put fresh food out after 9:30.

Will definitely come back.

Beautiful place and beautiful area to visit- we loved our room and the small balcony facing the street:) and the Pub is the best with life music and happy hour. The breakfast was great, with good coffee. We also enjoyed the town walking around and all the restaurants. We will visit again next year on our way to Florida.

A+++ we loved our king deluxe room. The bedding was super soft and comfy, nespresso machine in the room, robes, slippers, great happy hour at the reception area. Well kept and clean property, every little detail was thought out from the glasses to silverware. 100% would recommend.

I was initially concerned about the room’s location near the bar and band area, thinking it might be noisy, but I was pleasantly surprised—once we were inside, it was quiet and peaceful. We also met so many wonderful people at the bar, most of them locals who made us feel right at home with their southern hospitality. The pub truly was the place to be—lively, friendly, and full of great energy. A special shout-out to Evelyn, the hotel manager, who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. They gave us fantastic recommendations for local eats and events, which made our stay even more memorable. Overall, our experience was amazing, and we’ll definitely be back!

This was our first time staying at the Village Inn and Pub! It was absolutely so enjoyable! We went on a spur of the moment trip so I was unsure about this hotel, but it was just perfect. The pool area is so nice and relaxing and the rooms were just steps away. Our room was very nice and comfortable. Every little detail did not go overlooked. I have never recommended a place this much! For a romantic getaway this is perfect! It was very close to many restaurants and all the shops near the pier. The only downside is it is Not on the beach but that did not bother us. I will definitely come back and enjoy this little hidden gem in St.Simon!

Phenomenal. Will most certainly return. Small and very inviting. Room was perfect. Bed was incredibly comfortable, the sheets were amazing and the balcony was worth the extra I paid. 5 min walk to the pier and many restaurants and shops. The pub was a happening place but not too loud for those of us who were in the room during the later hours. Breakfast was very good. Nothing incredible but enough choices and the price was right. My wife and I are already planning to return sooner rather than later

It is a charming place, the staff is most hospitable, and it has the atmosphere of a bygone era. In addition there are many good food options within walking distance. Staying at the "Inn and Pub" was an unexpected delight! What a discovery!

This may have been my favorite hotel stay yet! We were in the James Hamilton room, and I could not have been more pleased. The location was perfect for walking to the village and the grounds were so charming. Our room was spacious, beautiful, and immaculate. Also - the bed was actually comfortable and the AC worked well, so we got a great night of sleep. Perfect parents weekend away. We can't wait to back!

One night stay on drive to Florida. Outstanding place. Remodeled to the highest standards with best materials and interior design. My one gripe is the bed was too soft to our liking. Great upscale pub atmosphere with live music some evenings. Nice breakfast in the morning. Can’t recommend highly enough.

The inn itself was great. Beds were comfortable, room was beautiful, and the Breakfast was good. But the noise from the pub and the bar across the street was awful. Several times throughout the night we were awoken from drunks walking by the room, being loud, yelling, and loud cars. It is unfortunate because we loved the property. The bar right across the way closes at 2 am and it woke us every night we were there. Also there was no parking at the inn and we were forced to park across the street, with all the noise throughout the night we were worried about the car not being in the inn lot.

Great find! From meeting Laurie at checkin to enjoying the room, pub, breakfast the entire stay was wonderful. Very safe, and quick 5 minute walk to shopping, the pier, beach, visitor center, lighthouse and a lot of restaurants. We like our room 114, spacious 1st floor, no elevators on property. Breakfast was very good with hot egg sandwiches, yogurt, granola, fresh fruit, pastries which was included in our daily rate. No kids or pets at this place which made it very quiet. We enjoyed our first time at St. Simon’s Island (SSI) went to the WW II museum and walked east beach. The next day we took drive to Jekyll island, have to pay $10 to enter the island. The island consists mostly of parks, golf, newer shops, not much historic buildings like on SSI. We much preferred how quaint, safe, walkability to everything and quiet island SSI was.

Beautiful room with luxury touches and perfect walkable location to great restaurants and shopping. Room turnover service every day, which is rare since Covid. No elevator, so keep that in mind if you get a 2nd floor room. The continental breakfast reminded me of what you get in Europe--fresh fruit and pastries. Great location within walking distance of great restaurants, shops, pier, and lighthouse. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and comfortable. The grounds were beautiful. We would definitely stay here again.

Decent hotel. Very quiet. The rooms need a deep cleaning and the hotel staff is just meh. Nobody was friendly but no one was mean either.

Comfortable room, pretty grounds, excellent location within easy walking distance to restaurants and the pier. Unfortunately, we had to leave before breakfast began.

Historic Inn is beautifully decorated. Loved the burning fireplace in the Pub for the chilly morning! Breakfast was excellent. Rooms are comfortable and include great amenities. Bed was a bit soft and bouncy. Love the area: walking distance to pier, restaurants and shops!

It was very relaxing. Had a great 8 days there. Home away from home!

We just stayed for our anniversary and had a great time. Everything in walking distance, small town with lots of shops. Decorated beautifully for Christmas. Great restaurants! We did rent a golf cart for the day to see everything. Our room was immaculate with a comfy bed. I slept great. Will for sure be making our way back soon!! Thanks to all the staff! We were pleasantly surprised at how Bea the rooms were. Everything was clean and beautiful and a 5 minute walk to the pier. It’s perfectly situated right in the middle of some great restaurants. We had a great time!

My husband and I have stayed twice and LOVE this place! It is absolutely the best and super clean. Can’t wait to go back. Walking distance to anything you need, easy parking and easy checkin in. Breakfast is always good and we love the robes and slippers!

We stayed here on an unexpected hurricane evacuation. The Inn was very comfortable and the staff very welcoming! The Pub had good music, drinks and fun!
