    The building we stayed in was being completely redone. New paint, carpet in the hallway, and new flooring in the rooms. The lobby breakfast sitting area could use some more work however breakfast was pretty good.

    I wanted to get my money back because my shower curtain was molded and smelled like mildew. I didn't sleep all night because my room smelled like smoke. I had on my mask all night still didn't help. I started to leave my riom at 1:00 am but I didn't fell comfortable going out by myself that late. Awful experience. I told the person on staff so that they can replace that shower curtain.

    Room was clean except the non-carpeted floor could've used a quick mop/ Swiffering. Room temperature was set at 63 degrees when it was 19 and snowing outside. Bathroom fan motor was stuck and quite annoying. Shower head was clogged with calcium or scale. Mold in the toilet. Towels were small, old, and smelled like bleach. Pillows were very small. Coffee machine tray was not the correct tray and fell out after one brew. No tea, decaf coffee, creamer, or sugar provided- no lids either.

    Had a great time. Felt safe. Enjoyed my rest with no bugs. But was mislead by the "deep" tub which was just a regular tub. Plus the shower spits. But at least it gets hot! I thought all rooms came with a Jacuzzi- because it said all rooms come with a "deep tub"- Based off of the picture(s) they really promote the hot tub a lot and there is ONLY ONE room that has it. I would have gladly upgraded, but there were none available.

    Staff was kind but the room was very poorly taken care of. The curtains had clearly been cut or ripped intentionally at some point, the doorknob was broken for the bathroom etc. It was also concerning that there was a large pile of mattresses in the parking lot when I arrived, which made me worry about the possibilities of bed bugs. The mattress itself was fairly hard and uncomfortable as well.

    Staff was fine. Could use a few more towels and bathroom fan was nosiywhile operating. Floor lamp was ki d of broken, yet still worked. We also got locked out of our room before check out but staff was accommodating. Breafast doesnt have much to much to offer.

    The food for breakfast was very good the dinning area was very clean . The parking wasn't very good because they were remodeling and there was a lot just piled in the back so that took up parking spaces. We we didnt have any problems find a place to park by our room. I would definitely stay there again.

    The check out staff was very unfriendly. The parking lot was full of old mattresses. The sidewalk was crumbling. The light switches and covers were old. The furniture and bath were very outdated. The picture on the internet of the room was modern and clean. So the actual hotel was a real shock. I was told it was being remodeled but that should have been on the site information. A very poor choice!

    Signage was misleading, still had old chain logo (Best Western) lit at night. Breakfast was limited and not fresh. Staff was unkempt. Room was very clean, but lacking grab bar in tub-shower area. Water preasure was non existent. Linens were frayed but clean. Mountain of old mattresses on rear of property and half filled dumpster in parking lot. Gangway and stairs should be power washed. Key card did not function up to checkout time. Clearly a work in progress.

    It turns out this was an old best western motel, with a Days inn sign slapped over the sign ….Beds were comfortable, but outside of that the room was not. Fridge wasn’t plugged in ac was not running……there were two tubes of shampoo…..one was used and had crusty shampoo in the lid. Table and chairs were from a 1970 garage sale - velvet fabric on the chair backs, so I wasn’t comfortable with the idea of even sitting in them. Ice machine was in another building across the parking lot, had to go on a treasure hunt to find that. No wifi info available. Atmosphere just seemed dingy and unmaintained.

    This place needs to complete renovations before booking another room. Room smelled, linens ripped. Dark lighting absolutely horrible. I walked in and right out and they refused to refund any money when Expedia called them.

    The pool is not functioning and it doesn't look like they are going to fix it. Not a big deal, but that was one of the reasons we stayed here. Update the pictures and description to show that. Pretty clean, but the fabric shower curtain was filthy. Lots of weeds, so it doesn't look like they are taking care of the property.

    Police and ambulance there one night. Was accidentally billed $592 to my card. Took the whole stay to get a credit for it. Left my slippers at home. Walked barefoot on floor. Feet were black. Room was dark but ok. Had a weird smell at check in. Kinda like a smokers room covered up with something. The wind kept blowing our door and it always felt like someone was there. The stoke plate needed to be adjusted. The breakfast was ok. Powdered eggs and bacon where ok.

    Make sure you call the property before you arrive to make sure you are getting the room you booked. Valance hanging off the wall over curtains. Base of toilet dirty. Coffee lines on wall from a previous occupant. Person behind counter less than helpful. Not worth the price. Next visit to St. Charles we will stay elsewhere.

    Firstly, your company sends me a nice text welcoming me and asks that if I need anything to text. I did request more pillows and never heard back. Paper thin walls. Heard drunk neighbors have an argument at midnight. After that heard upstairs person in high heels clomping around. Then at 8am your company texts me and asks when I’m checking out! Terrible customer service!

    Claims Expedia charged me when it clearly said days Inn st. Charles in St. Charles , ill Twice. I had to make a claim with my bank instead of owning responsibility. I only stayed 1 day because of it! Stressful for sure and I couldn't rest knowing i was doubled charged and spent 2 hours on the phone.

    Very misleading from the pictures. This is basically a motel. The room is outdated, smelled of dust, peeling wallpaper and bathroom lining. There was trash on the property and we saw the employees smoking outside on numerous occasions. There was never anyone in the lobby to ask for help. I feel scammed. I will never be staying at this place nor any Best Western. And I will NOT be booking with Expedia ever, they will not help you if the property doesn't want to refund you anything. Never again.

    We would not stay there again. There was a broken framed picture on the wall that could have fallen apart and hurt someone. There was a broken light bulb, dangling from the socket that could have broken and caused a fire. The walls were dirty and the bathroom was dirty. And there were 2 broken chairs.

    When checking in, the staff member was laughing the entire time. It was very uncomfortable. No AirPods, no TV was visible. I asked twice if everything was ok and he proceeded to laugh. Also, having tiny bed pillows are uncomfortable too - dimensions were 7”x7”.

    My socks were FILTHY after walking the floor. The towels are exfoliation devices. The bed is sunken down in the middle. The interior lighting is way too bright. The curtains don't work to block out the exterior lighting. From the moment you drive in and see the parking lot, you know you made an error in booking this hole. The ownership clearly puts no money back in to the property. How sad is it, that the Comfort Inn across the street looked 879x better. One would expect more, a lot more from a Best Western. The only bright spot was the decent restaurant next door. There was absolutely no way i would even think about trying the free breakfast in the lobby.

    Reviews were decent and misleading. Chipped paint and garbage starts in the parking lot. The pool is closed-not mentioned anywhere. Rooms stink. Not sure if it’s the air conditioner or bed. Towels are thin and off colored. Shower head leaked. Everything looks worn and dirty. Breakfast basic but I was afraid of cleanliness based on the rest of the motel.

    It was a convenient location but the room i stayed in was not impressive. The bed was very uncomfortable, I did not have water pressure in the shower, and the main light of the room flickered often. I was only in for a few days and was going in and out, it was an okay stay but I would probably choose someplace else who maintains their rooms. Additionally I was not informed housekeeping was limited unless requested, read that on a sign as I was checking out. I feel like all guests should be verbally communicated that piece.

    We just stayed one night, but were happy with our stay. Comfortable, clean, quiet in a good location. My only complaint was the strong smell of cleaner that was used on the floor or the bedding. I believe it was the bedding because the pillows had a strong smell from a cleaning agent. I considered asking for a room change but we left the door open for about 90 minutes and that helped. There is a fantastic restaurant next door called the Colonial Cafe, which has great food, and a wide variety of ice cream desserts.

    The place to stay for a show at the Arcada Theatre. It was SO cold the night we stayed and the room was nice and warm when we arrived. Clean, comfortable. Flat screen HDTV with remote. Nice shower and bed. Frig and microwave. You are staying on the main drag so you are close to everything. The restaurant next door has delicious food!!

    This is a 2 level property that does not have an elevator, and all of the rooms are external rooms. The room was very clean, and we enjoyed the selection at breakfast. There is a family restaurant right next to the parking lot.

    I had a good experience staying in Best Western, in Plymouth, NH. However, the Best Western in St. Charles was an exception. Very dirty floors in the bathroom and dirty carpets. The iron board was broken. It looked like a lower class motel; not the best representation of the Best Western brand.

    Run down, unprofessional upkeep, cramped. Hard & worn out beds. Poor too-high shower, very poor water pressure and hard to regulate. Smoke alarm defective, kept beeping. Fridge wobbling in cabinet. Cold laminate. On line picture not accurate.

    Did not have breakfast. The location was good. The employee at check in was very nice. Cramped, old, run down, maintenance performed very sloppy & unprofessional. Beds hard, worn out & uncomfortable. Shower head too high, very poor water pressure & ability to regulate temperature. Smoke alarm was inoperative - kept beeping, had to take to desk. Fridge not sitting flat, tipped when using. Did not like laminate floors. Picture on line very deceiving - did not look anything like my room, do not know where it came from. Will cross Best Western off my list unless I see the room in advance,

    It was just an older hotel with doors to the rooms on the outside. It smelled strongly of cleaner in the room. We left the door open for about an hour, and then it was OK. The room was clean.
