Nice location. Bath area needs updates. Side table next to the couch was flaking and rust all over. Was a hair in the tub. Someone’s Bobbi pins on the floor.

Clean rooms and bathrooms! I felt genuinely welcomed by all staff! I loved their bistro breakfast! Very worth that add on! Plenty of spaces to rest and chat too in the lobby with lots of outlets! Plus near many amenities too.

This is a filthy vile hotel with cracked tiles, filthy room, strange clientele. Very deceptive from reviews. Never ever will stay there again and would never recommend it. It should be shut down!!! Not worth a penny.

3 night stay. Under staffed. No happy our as it was closed friday and Saturday. Bed was so uncomfortable. I think it was broken. Need to update mattresses. The bright spot was the girl at the starbucks counter was so friendly and welcoming. We visited from NY on business 3/19 to 3/22 2026

Location was central and convenient The pool was tiny and my child for the first time ever did not want to go in the pool! The faucet did not have hot water in our room. The hotel lobby fire was not working so it didn’t feel cozy. Most importantly, my husband and child suffered with their asthma the entire night. After a discussion the next morning with the front desk staff, I was told that the hotel allows pets on the 1st and 2nd floors. We were on the 2nd floor. My husband and child have severe reactions to pet dander and pet hair! Although the hotel rooms are probably cleaned regularly, the likelihood of there still being pet dander present is pretty high! Lastly the hotel room was over priced at $150/night. It’s the middle of winter, hotel almost empty and breakfast was not even included. I checked the price the day of and it was almost $50 cheaper ($101). This hotel experience was not worth the money!

Check in was fast. Room was very clean and spacious, had a beautiful balcony, was very close to the theatre we were going to. Had a beautiful lobby area. Fireplace with couches, tables with chairs. The Bistro was excellent for breakfast. Everything was very fresh. The staff were extremely nice. I would say the only downer was the pool was small but very clean. I would definitely stay here again. Very affordable also. Thank you it was wonderful.

Every member of the staff i encountered was great and helpful. For that i would give 5 stars. However from the hotel to the rooms, left a lot to be desired. First walked into the lobby, the carpet smelled dirty, with the smell extending up to the hallway of the floor i stayed. The first room i stayed in for a few hours until the door locked stopped working a few hours after check in. They tried to resolve the issue however it happened again and they changed my room. Second room the toilet stopped working for a few hours, It stopped flushing . At that point i chose not to complain as i would be out doing business that day and was scheduled to check out the next day. The sheets were uncomfortable as i itched horribly whenever they came in contact with my bare skin. There were stains on the furniture, on the walls, in the paintings on the wall. Lime scale in the bathroom, shower curtain ripped. The list could go on without end. I would never go back ever but worse i now have to make sure i read Expedia reviews versus looking at the scores. It received and 8.8 definitely not for the accommodations but more likely for the staff.

The staff was fine. The room smelled, shower and tile had rust stains, the water wasn’t very hot in shower. The walls in bathroom had stains on wall paper. Front desk offer switching rooms too tired to even want to switch. The fridg in room didn’t work and they didn’t even have a microwave in room.

Paper thin walls. No sound proofing between floors. I can hear everything from above room. Floors squeak. Rusty tub and sink. Hvac was okay. Gym was okay. Breakfast is extra.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It would have been nice to have a microwave in the room. There was coffee but to say that they made some food was a joke. No one was behind the counter of what was the “restaurant area” and it was dark. Other than that they had a small pantry area to buy food but nothing in your room to warm it.

Two thumbs up for a very quiet hotel stay with good (Starbucks) coffee available in the lobby in the morning. Staff was friendly and helpful. A tiny, indoor pool is perfect for smaller kids. Like a lot of hotels, this one is suffering from a lack of staff so the on-site bar and restaurant were closed during my stay. If that is important to you, call ahead to see if they will be open during your stay.

Good location. Freindly staff. Their elevator was pretty slow but we were on the 2nd floor so it wasnt too much of a hastle to take it. The room was clean for the most part (some minor stains on the couch). the Water took a minute or two to heat up and bathroom felt a little outdated but the bed was very comfy. AC worked well. A pleasant place for my 1 night stay!

Bathroom shower was a little dirty. Window needed to be cleaned better on the outside. Fitness Center had a broken TV and the remote control was on the floor with the batteries out of it. Looked like some ceiling tile broke and there was white pieces on the fitness center floor. Ice machine was not working on the third floor.

There were several bugs found in the room (bedroom and bathroom). Bathroom was very old— faucet was bent and water drained extremely slowly. By the time I was done showering the water was way above my ankle. And a one night stay was over $300!

Excellent check-in service and instruction. Room was clean and comfortable. It's a little worn, the bathtub could stand a refinishing, and the seal around my door into the hall was such that I could see into the hall. But very comfortable, convenient, and I would stay here again.

Mattress was not very comfortable. Small suggestion: they could easily add shelves - in shower room and under the sink to be more helpful. No place to set clothes or toiletries when showering because toilet and tub are separate from sink. There is plenty of space in the shower room corner for a stool or a shelf.

Nice Hotel in a good location. The room that we had was next to a generator that pushed out a high level of noise. Other than that it was a good stay. The food was good and the staff friendly and helpful.

This was the best experience I have ever had at a Courtyard Marriot. My friends and I just stayed here for one night as we passed through on a road trip. Paula at the front desk was such a gem! She made us feel so welcome. She gave us water and offered suggestions of things to do and see. She walked us to the courtyard in the back and just showed true hospitality. The rooms were nice, the lobby was clean, and the location in St. Charles was great, but Paula is really what made the stay stand out. Thank you so much!

Great location! Plenty of walking available if you like. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Near main roads but very quiet and safe area. Staff was extremely accommodating with making sure we had a handicapped accessible room. Very pleased with the room, staff, location. Full breakfast every morning is included. I will most definitely stay here again

I was put in a handicapped adjoining room which I was not happy about but I did not say anything. I wanted to switch rooms but I was tired. The next day I discovered bed bug bites on my leg. I have had bed bugs before and knew exactly what they were. Without a doubt I got them in that room. I called the hotel and they said they would tell the manager. I called three times that day and got no real answers. Finally spoke to someone in charge and they said they’d look into the matter and call me the next day. I never got a call the next day and finally called myself. I spoke to a very unsympathetic manager. He said they examining the room and found no evidence. Essentially my word against theirs. I understand bed bugs can happen anywhere. But to not even receive an “I’m sorry” is unacceptable. I am now worried I brought them into my home.

The only things so far that have been a bit of a challenge were the bathroom door is heavy, loud and it isn’t even with the door frame (we have this problem at home) The other thing was when we came back to the hotel after midnight there was a security measure that we didn’t know about. My husband figured it out.

The staff was not friendly upon our arrival, had to wait around 10 minutes to check-in, since there was no attendant at the front desk. The pool is small and ICE COLD, we had mentioned the pool was cold to the staff and no changes were made. I was not made aware at check in that the entire hotel was undergoing carpet/furniture cleaning during my stay. At 8am in the morning the following day of our arrival, housekeeping slid a note under the door with the notification that a third party service would be entering our room to clean the carpet and furniture. I found that extremely unprofessional; I should’ve been notified upon check in. The snack bar/breakfast was not open once during our stay. On our day of check out (check out time being noon), housekeeping attempted to enter at 9am. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend.

The ease of getting to my sons house. What was bad was as soon as we got to our room the fire alarm went off and didn't get an explanation as to why. I understand why they wouldn't let me back in to get my wife but she walks with a cane and has trouble with stairs and we were on the third floor. She made it out on her own but I would have wanted to be there for her.

The property had multiple problems from the poor service received from the staff right from the beginning, the front desk associate was very unfriendly. It seemed like we inconvenienced her for staying at the hotel. This was one of the worst experiences we had for a Marriott hotel. The room had bugs on the carpet and the AC kept turning off.

In the St Charles area on business for 2 nights. The rooms were nice, and the gym equipment was solid. My favorite part was the breakfast. Juice, coffee, bacon, eggs, potatoes, & toast. It was $13 and well worth the money spent. I love a made to order breakfast that's made with love. I'll definitely stay here again.

Friendly people at the check in was good. The girl in the bar/food was excellent. Food and drinks were excellent!! But the room was clean but outdated and the window the Veiw was bushes. The bed left alot to be desired. We felt like we were sleeping on a roll away bed. They definitely need new mattresses. Also the toilet in the bathroom, was clean but the toilet seat reminded me of a rest stop with the spilt toilet seat. A remodel is needed.

I ordered 2 rooms that cost the same price. When i got to hotel 1 room was charged an extra $80 the clerk said she would talk to manger to get my money back. I didnt get it back than they charge a $40 deposit I only got the deposit back for one room. The hotel itself was nice clean and I had a balcony the only thing is during my weekend stay I never seen housekeeping doing the whole stay.

My stay met my expectations. The TV showcasted my name with a welcome message as well as a bon voyage message. I like that special touch. The staff were all very friendly.
