I had fallen in the parking lot and skimmed my arm pretty bad. The associate at the desk cleaned my wound and managed my arm. He went out of his way and very cordial and helpful. This happened on June 14 around 11 AM. The amenities were terrific. Had a great breakfast and a great day. I would recommend. The hotel to others.

Serviceable for a quick stay while at a kid’s sport tournament. Be warned though that the beds are very squeaky even when you’re just trying to turn over in bed.

The staff was nice, helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room did not meet my expectations. The room did not appear to be properly sanitized, there was blood on one of the walls near a light switch, the tub was not well clean, which made our stay less comfortable. In addition, there was significant noise from outside throughout the night, making it difficult for my children and me to get adequate rest. Overall, these issues negatively impacted our experience.

This hotel was so loud I canceled my second night. I could hear people yelling, sirens, cars, and the beds were squeaky as well

The overall experience was not good. The property was run down and not a great area. The refrigerator was loud and never stopped running. There was dry paint on the bathroom floor that looked like a 5 year old painted it. The beds were clean.

Easy excess to major freeway.

We booked from this place because of the proximity to the event we were going to. Lots of food choices around but be aware it’s a busy street because of in n out and chick fil a walking distance. Homeless and smells like cigarettes everywhere. Rooms are kinda small. Bed are springy bed frame makes a lot of noise when you turned. we stayed in room 310. Amenities like pool and hot tub are working except for the hot tub looks green i don’t know if it due to the pain but definitely need to be repainted. Shower pressure is on point. Coffee and breakfast are okay.

The only downside is the lobby is small, so there was no where to sit during breakfast

I’ve stayed at this property on multiple occasions, and I’ve always had 5 star experience. I don’t know what was happening this past weekend but my experience was not satisfactory. It was loud all night. Kids running all over the darn place with no supervision! Damn Adults yelling down hallways like they’re at the park! And to top it off, somebody pulled the fire alarm at seven something in the a.m. probably one of those damn kids! At this point, not sure about future stays,

Today's room now have vinyl flooring for easy maintenance which I understand but still needs to be cleaned regularly. Floors looked clean but after several steps revealed blacken dirty feet.

Pictures of the property were deceptive. It is an older property. Clean. Small breakfast with yogurt, instant oatmeal, bagels, sausage, egg, juices, and coffee. Right next to the freeway and next door to an In N Out Burger place. Rooms are clean with a mini fridge amd freezer, coffee pot, and microwave. Staff are very polite and helpful.

Dirtiest and smallest battoom I ever stayed in a La Quinta Hotel. Too compacted of an area too loud. I was given a room in front of the pool area. Kids screaming, adults talking loud Bathroom has NO AIR VENTILATION!! WHAT'S UP WITH THAT. Dirty baseboards and dirty floors in the bathroom. DISGUSTING. DON'T RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION. NEVER STAYING HERE EVER AGAIN. I'D RATHER SLEEP IN MY S U V!!!

Apparently there must only be two mobility rooms which I booked through Expedia. When we arrived we were told one of the rooms was already taken and the other he couldn’t give to us because it flooded that same day. Only gave us a $20.00 discount. Other than that it was fine and I have to say the beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean.

The ADA room I booked was easy to access. The overall condition was good, but the floors in my room were filthy. They must have missed mopping it. I wore my slippers around the room. I booked a 5 night stay. They serviced my room after 2 days (I had posted the do not disturb on those days). When I returned, the bed was made, trash out, and dirty towels removed. However they did not refresh the coffee. I had to go to the front desk for coffee. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. I did not eat the breakfast they offered. I had brought my own. The room is equipped with a fridge and microwave. ADA parking is right in front of my room. The entrance to the hotel is a little hard to find. You have to drive through several parking lots in order to get to it.

The property doesn’t seem to be well maintained; it looks much older than the pictures depicted on Expedia.

Room was decent. Bed frames are sheet metal(??) and so every time you move the bed creaks. Patrons staying while we were there were loud and obnoxious at all hours of the night. Parking is fine. Breakfast was ok.

Staff not friendly Room smelled. Beds really hard. The hot tub looked like full of pee and a weird neon green color. Breakfast sausage and omelettes looked like mircowaved too long and not edible. The waffle maker was great but line too long we left and got breakfast elsewhere. Worst part was all the people on drugs around buliding looking like zombies. We left after 1 night

Was not a safe area! Hot tub jests didnt work, wasnt hot. Stains on sheets, hair on towels! Very dirty floors, bathtub shower walls, microwave old lop sided. Very dirty room! We wipped the floor with a towel and it was completely black after wiping! Hair all over bathroom floors n shower curtai. Dirty light switches walls sink counter top. Heater didnt work cold in our room. Poor breakfast! Definitely not worth the money!

The large room had everything I needed! A mini fridge, mini microwave, coffee, shower, ironing, board closet! It was very clean, and the staff was very friendly unhelpful! Though I did not take advantage of the free breakfast that came with my stay I saw that they had a variety of hot and cold items, including make your own waffle station! Great stay, I will come back !

i was on ground floor, a disability access room which I was most thankful did NOT smell like cigarettes!! a bit odd set up, the refrig made noise all night and had to turn it off but that did not really help, so turned it back on low. was glad for grab bars in bathtub but the minature height of shower was a bit odd. the chair was a help too. room was clean basically, not so sure about the floor in all spots. room temperature was adjustable, thankfully. bed was comfortable , cozy and pillows to melt into. overall I was glad to get some sleep before heading home in the morning. .and then seeing the gardenia flowers. the grounds need touch up, would make a huge difference in presentation. Needs a women's touch. lol Grateful in all things . a bit too far from where I was attending an event at Golden One .grateful for light food in am, being gluten free very limited, but an apple, egg and yogurt were ok. thank you for the rest I got . and it was quiet at night outside the room. Yes, parking was safe! yeah. And if I could I would have loved the bagel!! Big bonus which I didn't have time to engage with: In and out burger a breath away..I didn't feel it was ok to walk there late at night ;busy!!

The room fan for AC and heating was very noisy and had no speed control. We had to keep it off at night--it was too noisy for sleeping.

The room wasn’t clean clean it was ok. The bathtub wouldn’t drain I had to stick one side of the shampoo bottles so that it would drain. The remote control in the room didn’t work it was replaced by another one but even that one was really slow. The breakfast is ok.

Hot tub water was green, breakfast was worse than mediocre. Housekeeping was knocking on neighbors door before 8 am. Room was typical. I thought La Quinta was supposed to be nicer than other chains, but it was pretty mediocre.

The location was absolutely terrible. A glut of traffic and complete mayhem. It’s located right off a very busy freeway directly behind in and out. Traffic was awful. After a very long drive checking in at 9pm was not a pleasant experience. I’m not expecting superior service but the guy checking me in hated being there and hated me even more. Not good customer service. Room itself was fairly clean but I highly doubt our bed linens were clean. The beds were awful. Spring mattresses that alerted everyone in the room when you turned on your side! Continental bfast was decent but it’s such a busy location you have to get in early. Overall I give it a 3 star at best and that’s pushing it,

Everything was great. The morning we were to leave a text was sent to let them know our check out time. We selected noon as we have an evening flight. Hotel staff kept knocking on our door at 11:15 while we were showering asking us to leave. I tried to explain that I was given an option to check out at noon. Kind of strange but all else was fine. If they want you out sooner they need to not have the noon option so you don’t disturb people.

The premium rooms were okay for the price, but overall it is a 2* hotel, so you get 2* quality

Every single time I stayed here they’ve kept my $100 deposit. The staff send text at odd hours of the night like 3am and 5am. I usually try to sleep at those hours. The staff does not know English at all

Floor was dirty and dusty, blanket had some small stains, shower drain looked kind of clogged so it was slow to drain when showering. Would end up with water to my ankles after showering. Bed was SUPER LOUD. They have metal frames and any moving in our sleep would make the loudest creaks.

Cleanliness is questionable. Found dead bug on the floor, hair in the bathroom. Smaller dead bugs in bed. I ended up not taking a shower, crashed on top of bed fully clothed and slept as I was exhausted from travelling overnight. Hotel is on a very busy highway so it was extremely noisy.

This is not an ideal place to stay traveling as a solo female. I arrived and the reality of this hotel was nothing close to what the photos adverstised. I felt very unsafe as a female by myself, and I decided not to stay here. I requested a refund and it was denied, ignoring the fact that I never even checked in and the hotel was highly falsely advertised. Safe to say I will never trust or stay at a Wyndham hotel again.

It was so loud with the room facing the In-n-Out and a drunk fool knocking at some doors and yelling. The beds were so squeaky that every time someone turned around in one of the beds, the other person woke up. The front desk was very whatever about it when we asked to change rooms, just pointed fingers at someone else to have declined the request. ZERO customer service, never staying there ever again.

On the bright side, they did make our beds and provided fresh towels after our first night, which most hotels no longer bother with.

Room was dirty sticky floor . Lots of hair in tub bathroom. Sheets were stained. Smell bad I only used room to sleep in didn’t want to be there at all but we had a family funeral to attend. The lady’s at breakfast room were super nice . Need to better on the clean

The elevator made a loud bang going up then the door wouldnt open up at first when we went down. That was scary. I also had to smash a cockroach in our room, which was so gross. We did enjoy the continental breakfast and the maid service was good.

The room looks run down, around the parking lot felt unsafe with police on the premise and homeless guy asking for money at 1:00 am by our room.

We didn’t last 30 minutes being checked into the room. As soon as we exited our car, walking to our room a guy on the third floor asked if our car was a rental, then proceeded to try and barter a price for it. Within 15 minutes of being inside the room, I killed 3 cockroaches. The floor in the room was sticky and the feel of the property just felt unsafe with a tall metal fence surrounding it. Just a bad experience from the get go.

The online pictures of your hotel do not show that you have to enter through doors from the outside. Unfortunately, the parking lot is a little bit scary. I would not have chosen this place. If I knew we had doors that open to the outside public.

Nice hotel in a decent area of Sacramento with access to dining and shopping. Near the highway so a bit of traffic noise but nothing too disturbing.

A guest left 5 dogs in their room and they barked throughout the night and early morning. Front desk was contacted several times but they did nothing until the following morning. The sheriff was called to the room where the dogs were and animal control was called to take the dogs. We were not offered a different room or any apologies for the inconvenience. We will NEVER book this hotel again.

We were able to change rooms as I apparently had book a handicap accessible room in error. We were able to change rooms on the second day which was a lot quieter and more accommodating for myself and grown granddaughter. Very appreciative to Mark doing that for us!

Room for Handicapped without a safe shower. The shower seat wobbled. The room was far from the breakfast room and one had to go outside in the rain. This hotel should NOT be accepting persons with mobility issues until it can provide safe showers and easy access to the breakfast room.

The room we had had a back up tub; water was ankle deep during the shower. The bed was creaky and not comfortable. Our closet shelf was crooked. Not the best area, homeless people by parking lot. The breakfast could be better, not many options. This would be my last option next time if really desperate.

After driving past the strung out homeless man in the parking lot who made me concerned for my vehicle I attempted to check it. They do not have take any type of Apple Pay or tap to pay so make sure you bring your cards.

I was staying for 4 days and the first two days I was locked out and had to go to the office to have my keys programmed twice. The tv sound was not working on the first day and maintenance had to be called. The tv froze and maintenance had to be called.

We had got to the hotel at 11pm to check in. I ran into a snag which we were working out the snag. While I was working out the snag there was a change in the staff in the lobby. The gentleman was just got on shift told me if it was him he would have had me ask for a refund and find another hotel. I have been going to this hotel for several months without any issues. Once I work out the snag he said his coworker said to finish checking me in. Not the best customer service for the hotel staff to say he would have made me ask for a refund and find another hotel. Other than that beds are comfy.

The room was nice and spacious. The pull out bed felt as if it were broken, very uncomfortable to sleep on. The floors were filthy. My little one & I walked around barefoot & our feet were BLACK! It was really gross. Also we got an email asking when we were checking out, I selected 12pm. Then we got bothered 3 times by the maids & once by phone all before it was 12pm! Why ask what time we are leaving if you are going to bug us constantly? The staff was very nice & helpful, but I did not enjoy those issues, but food was nearby and walkable so that was nice.

Worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. At 1:57am there were two men in a screaming match and one man was telling the other to squeeze the trigger. Hotel management did nothing about this situation and this went on for about 20min until the one man left. On top of that the ground was filthy, bathtub was dirty and bed was not comfortable. Stay anywhere else but here!!!

We didn't appreciate not being able to get into our room because the keys were not keyed properly... and the trip back to the office. Other than that it was fine.

We arrived after driving for 7 hours and kind of rolled into the lobby like a tornado but the staff member was able to adjust to our dispostion and swiftly and smoothly checked us in for our two separate reservations. Most staff anywhere these days would be a bit perturbed and would gather the information I was blurting out about two reservations but she was excellent, calm and collected. We only stayed one night but I wish it was longer. Room was clean and then breakfast the next morning was great. The food area was clean and set up nicely. I will keep that La Quinta Inn in mind when I visit childhood friends up in Sacramento. I will also keep La Quinta Inns in mind when I travel elsewhere. Hope they can live up the that one in north sac. Thanks for the hospitality!

We just needed a place to sleep while visiting relatives. We didn’t eat breakfast or use any facilities. It was a comfortable room with friendly staff.

If you’re disabled, don’t bother to pick this hotel the rooms are barely big enough to get in with a walker. The bathrooms are a danger. It’s been converted with very little effort and it’s just junk. I almost killed myself in the shower.

Checked in got ready and a left to meer family come back 840 got in hot tub had to ask front desk to let us in key card did not work and once we got back to room the tv did not work read no connection input select front desk want us to move room to second floor and we would have to move all our belongs so i was upset and just went to sleep no board as me and husband sleep with tv on all night

Nice updated room and clean. Area around the hotel was dirty and noisy, but I felt safe jogging each day around the neighborhood.

For the dollar point not a bad property highlight was the breakfast buffet, and the worker who is running it rooms are decent for the price one of the beds. We slept in barely had any spring, so it’s sagged. A lot definitely need some renovations to improve the aesthetics of the room. Worst part of this property is in strip mall with In-N-Out and there is so much traffic consistently throughout the day.

The Netflix app didn’t work

The hotel has improved since when we stayed last year. However, the breakfast has plenty of room for improvement (nothing special - just the basics and the juice was watered down) and they charge way too much for dog fees.

Rhe check in/staff was great. Unfortunately, the bed is so uncomforable. I normally love La Quina but this one was so so. Its very old but uodated in the room. Entrances are outside rather than inside hallways. There is a very busy In an Out in front and a few homeless people hanging around and the noise from the freeway can be heard. Not the vest one for sure!

People were up all night yelling and screaming. It was hard to tell if it was coming from the guests at the hotel or outside the property. The room smelled like cigarettes.

I was pleased with my room, very quiet, comfortable. I loved the black out blinds. The bed was very high however, seems every room I've had lately the bed gets higher and higher. For some this is bad, my mother wouldn't have been able to hop up on this one, luckily it was just me this time.

The staff was really great. We did not like the fact that the computer and printer in the lobby area was broken. We needed to print out our airline tickets and we couldnt.

Staff was super sweet, quick and helpful but the surrounding area is really bad! A man entered the pool area by himself and was eyeing our entire softball team of 12-14 year old girls. He made everyone feel uncomfortable and immediately noticed we were onto his behavior so he quickly fled to the in-n-out burger next to the hotel. I'm sure this happens anywhere but there was a lot of creepy men watching our young girls the entire time. There was security there dealing with another issue and local police showed up as well. It was very overwhelming and worrisome that anyone can access all of the hotel rooms as the hotel is not fenced in at all and it seems like its in a sketchy/ dangerous area. We didn't get much sleep and will never stay here again!

Nice play to stay, In & Out Burger next door. There is very little parking for trucks with trailers.

Clean easy access

I stayed here for a business meetings I had for four days, and I would not stay here again. We didn't get any sleep the entire stay, which affected our rest and alertness for work, because the air conditioner in the room was so loud and extreme on the temperatures. When it would turn on, it would be very cold and once it reached its temperature it would turn off and wouldn't turn back on until the room got very hot. So we were uncomfortable all through the night on top of when we finally would fall asleep the loud air conditioner would wake us up abruptly over and over.

Food options is good, bed was super comfortable, staff was nice but one of them did give me attitude when I called and asked for towels. At any other hotel I been too even hotel 6 they’ve brought towels to the room. I simply called for extra towels and they made me come down to the lobby to get them. When I walked in he had his feet on the counter and was on his phone. If it wasn’t for that and a few other things I experienced (but they were sort of out of anyone’s control) I would give it 5 stars.

The room I had smelled like a smoker lived in there and even after spraying the smoke seemed to come from the outside through the AC vent. The staff was trying to be accommodating but it was the other guest that were staying there that did not adhere to the specified smoking areas. I'd assume that was why the room would smell of smoke.

Not located in the best area but for the cost of one night it was an okay option. The bathroom was small but overall the room was clean. Staff friendly, and check-in/check-out was easy. I wouldn't recommend the location overall I have never had a bad stay at La Quinta hotels

They understand that animals shed and make a mess. They didn’t gouge us like some do.

I stayed here during my move from graduation in Idaho to taking the bar exam in California. The staff were very kind and friendly. They even made sure to put me in a quiet space so I could slay my exam. I travel with my fur family, so La Quinta is where we make a point to stay if we cannot camp. Thank you La Quinta Sacramento North!

I really enjoy the easy access to the highway. The mattress was a real problem for me.

Room was dirty, walls were hollow, sketchy area with homeless and people meeting in the parking lot. Pictures are completely deceiving of what to expect.

The gentleman at the front desk was great. Attentive, knowledgeable, courteous. The room was clean, nice pool, close to alot of activities.

The check in staff sent us clear around the other side of the property to park and take the stairs to our 3rd floor room. He never mentioned an elevator or the stairway near to our room which we discovered on our own. 8:30 in the evening and pool guests were blaring their music that the whole complex was forced to listen to.

Love coming to this location when my son has soccer tournament. I could just suggest cleaning the floors, they’re SUPER dirty. This is the second time we’ve stayed here and i really like it but both times the floors have been dirty. My daughter walked around in her white socks the first time and they turned black and last night she had pink socks on and they were super black. I had to throw them away. Also the drain in the shower took over 10 minutes to drain. Pretty sure there’s alot of hair stuck in it. Very conveniently with a in and out walking distance and a chick fil a as well.

We liked our room. The bed was comfortable. Room was nice and clean.

I had a reservation I was traveling with my dog. Our room was next the pool and a high traffic area. People were pushing their faces on the window trying to see in the room all night I took a picture but the hotel clerk was no to seeing it. He then moved me to a isolated room in the back of the hotel. From the time we got settled for three hours there were constant knolls on the window and foot. I caled the front desk and asked them to move us. He said there were no other rooms for pets. How can you call this a pet friendly hotel. The constant noice at the door kept my dog barking. I finally asked the front desk to call the police. He refused so I called and four officers came to the door and said there had not been anyone outside. They checked the setbanvr tape. I had two pictures one with some fingers over the perp hole and one with someone just standing outside my room trying to look in. They didn’t care I left the hotel. Doreen Barton

The fact that we passed by homeless people on the stairwell was not great.

The rooms unfortunately do not resemble the photos... It was off putting entering the room and seeing the condition. The floors were so filthy that I had to wear my shoes. The bottom of our feet were black from the floor. There was also a clump of hair stuck to the ground that I had to clean myself with my own Lysol wipes because they didn't have an extra mop I could use.

Our room phone started ringing at 545 in the morning. ( They were updating their phones.) We woke up to cockroaches in our room the the pool had weird stuff floating in it

It was fairly quiet with the occasional loud car as we were on the side closest to the off ramp. There was a pool and hot tub. It is very close to food, in and out, Starbucks, Panda etc. Close to bowling, 15 min from downtown Sacramento. The front desk was very kind and they are accommodating to pets. There is an elevator too and that was a plus. Like I said, overall stay was good. But there needs to be more attention to the room cleaning. I would stay here again definitely.

Close to lots of stores and food options

No carpet in the room and the floor was absolutely filthy dirty. The corners in the bathroom were gross with obvious water damage around baseboards and the door. I had to request that they send somebody up to clean all the floors. Then housekeeping took my used bar soap and didn’t replace them so I had to call down to the desk to have that replaced. They wanted me to come down and pick it up at the desk. Then I noticed there’s also taken the washcloths and bath mat and didn’t replace them but I asked that they be brought up to the room this time. Regulating the temperature in the room was a joke. It was either freezing cold or extremely hot.

Rooms were renovated nicely. The service at the check-in desk was great. The area is a bit sketchy - smell of weed outside our door and homeless people picking through trash cans in the parking lot.

People are talking and smoking weed at the corridors until 3am, dogs barking all night. I feel like the hotel rooms are being rented out. Not coming back.

It’s tough being right NEXT to In n Out Burger. Loud teenagers, trash drifting over. I think la Quinta does their best , but the location is changing!
